Hi there, will the change apply to users who join a group challenge or just to those who want to create a group challenge? We would like to create a challenge for volunteers at our charity to all participate in and were wondering if just one of us needs a paid account, to order to create the challenge, and then everyone else involved can join it with free accounts? Thanks! I have already started my a month trail and paid subscription from end of Sep. I tried to invite others to my group but they are not allowed to join without a subscription. Please could you help me.

My ride this evening does not appear on my personal heat map.   Following the recommendation from other forum posts, I changed the activity to something else (Badminton) and then back to Ride.  It still doesn't appear on my heat map. https://www.strava.com/activities/12106985405

Good day, I'm having trouble seeing any flybys.  It is showing my route but no other riders.  I've been out on busy days at popular spots and a few people I've ridden recorded rides but did not show up on flybys.I checked my privacy settings and all seems fine.  I haven't seen any flybys on my last 10 rides or so, not one.  Any suggestions or solutions?Viewing on a 2017 MacBook Air using Safari.

Hello all, On of my rides are not shown on the Heatmap, even though the activity has been recorded: https://www.strava.com/activities/9062889956  Anyone else who have met this problem or is there some kind of box I have ticked, that makes this ride invisible on the Heatmap? Best Thorkild

It is necessary to be able to separate running power from cycling power. They are measured differently and it is obvious that they are not comparable. The FTP measured in cycling cannot be compared with the FTP measured in running and that makes all metrics based on FTP or the power curve no longer useful.

Hi, i have an activity from my garmin that uploaded to strava. It notified me and its on notifications on strava and on my training log but not on my profile or feed. I have tried everything, please help!

I have recently created two new segments to add a little competition to the Wednesday evening run for my running group. However, having created them, historical data has been pulled from as far back as 2016 and data from activities that have obviously been entered incorrectly e.g. a run that was actually a cycle. As an example, the leader of a segment I have recently created 'ran' at 1:45 mins/km which equates to 25 miles/hr.Is there an option to create a completed new segment with no historical data? Is there an option to reduce how far back historical data is pulled from?

I'm using multiple bikes, includin an ebike for tracking with StravaUnfortunately the bike distance goals are either buggy or make no sense.Personal bike distance goals do not consider ebike rides. But I can't set a distance goal only for ebike rides either.In my profile stats, ebike rides do contribute to my bike stats, and additionally ,there I can filter for ebike rides only.So this is really not consistent at all.Pleaser let ebike rides contribute to the personal distance goals too,

Can someone please tell me if the time estimates calculated for outdoor rides (based on last 4 weeks’ rides I believe) ignore the speeds from recent virtual rides, which are usually much higher than IRL rides? Thanks 

Hi there, looking for help on how to update maps in Strava. I live in a town that has a new bypass, the road was opened 2 months ago. The road shows on the map, but you cannot route using the road, it's like the routing tools dont "see" this new road, and constantly route around it. How do you report / update maps to include this new 3km of roads? I know you can set manual mode and place multiple points and do it that way, but the road is quite curved and can be tricky to get accuracy.

If a free trial user joins a group challenge and their free trial expires before the challenge ends, will they still be able to participate? Or will they be removed from the challenge?

When an activity is uploaded the map doesn’t differ between paved and unpaved surfaces. I don’t get the dotted line for example for gravel rides in the forest. Any idea of how to reactivate this feature?

I set a new PR but it didn't go on best efforts or pr. It was a 1.2k and it definitely was better than my 1k pr but nothing got updated 

please be concert for the Strava PR many are using motorcycle ,car ,speed over 80-100kmh,that cheating burn all the recond from strava , and the recond for all time still in leaderboard pass few years ,should try investigation it .tq

In the watch app the list of sport types is so large I have to scroll to find the activity i'm about to do. I only have 4 activities. How can unwanted sport types be disabled or removed so they don't appear as an option in the app?

Manually added swimming activities can only be measured in multiples of 25 metres or yards. However, many pools are not a standard size and this makes it clumsy. Also, to compound the issue I can add decimal places. For example, I can add a 1,000.3m swim, but not a 1,030m swim. Allowing manual swims to be completely adjustable would have better functionality. Put bluntly, allowing such precision for centimetres but not metres makes little sense.  Not all wearables track swimming, or do so accurately. However, pools will often indicate length and you can just count laps, then upload. Strava does a poor job of supporting these swims. 

HiI've just run a 12km and checked my times - can anyone explain why the moving time total shown (1.10.03) is different to the splits (I've totalled them up, equalling 1.09.12)?(NB I understand the difference between moving and elapsed times)Thanks!Mark

How do I get the app to show calories burned again and stop showing kg Co2?  I don't have this problem when viewing an activity on the website, just on the app.Thank you!Jeff 

Not create group challange 

I have this problem several times and i consistently get a forbidden message when trying to save a route that has been shared with me from another strave user via imessage. The route opens i can see everything but when i click save it says forbidden. The only work around is to edit the route a bit and then it will save. Changing the name doesn't work either. I'm an iphone user and trying to do this via the strava app on my iphone - any help or things I might be able to try would be much appreciated.

Good morning!  I uploaded a gpx file (route) on the Strava website, hoping it would automatically synch with my Strava on my iphone. I had previously saved three routes successfully, so I have some previous experience. For some reason, the route I uploaded (successfully) on my laptop to the website, does not appear as a saved route on my Strava app on my iphone. Am I being too impatient? Does it require a lot of time? Any ideas would be appreciated. Thank you!

Recently a new MUT opened and is quickly becoming popular with runners and cyclists.   As it was created where no path previously existed, the Strava maps don't show it and the only way to use it in route planning is via manual mode.This isn't a big deal but it did get me wondering how I could go about providing necessary info to Strava to get it added.

Dear Strava (and users),I am getting increasingly annoyed by the many irrelevant postings I experience in my Dashboard between activities. How do I get rid of or disable these?To explain: My Dashboard is my goto page when opening Strava. Normally, I will have my latest activity at the top but below that I have to scroll, scroll and scroll to get to my next activity, past a great number of posts on Gravel, How to get in shape, Tour de France and what-have-you-not... This is deeply irritating as I check in to analyse and compare activities, not to get in shape or because I don't know who won what race.I could accept my Dashboard being contaminated if my "Activity Feed" was clean as I could then just go to that page. But this page shows exactly the same as my Dashboard - so what is the meaning of having an explicit activity page if it is also contaminated?At the very least a "Show"/"Do not show" button would be nice.I recognise that my clubs "need" to
