  Set a new PR for 10k today and Strava not showing it as PR. Even when I go on my activity history Anyone know why?

I sometime use the Segment Explore tool to browse the segments in my area or in random locations. https://www.strava.com/segments/explore After some criteria is met: time used, things loaded, things clicked? The window refuses to load any more segments. This is evidently tied to your account, as you can try in a different browser or different device and it will still refuse to load anything. You have to wait some time (a day?) before you can use the tool again. I assume the rationale is Strava had an issue at some point with people scraping data from this interface, so it locks you out. I had assumed that purchasing a Strava Subscription would remove this limit and would let me freely browse the Segment Explore without locking me out after 10 minutes and making me wait an entire day before being able to use it again. That assumption is incorrect, as Strava still locks you out of the tool even if you are paying. I just tried out a paid Strava Subscription, with the sole purpose of being

Some recent release of the Android app has broken the dropdown menus. Pressing the actual down arrow at the right hand side of each menu has no effect. This is a long way from being the most broken feature on the app, but it's a bizarre choice if intentional, flying in the face of several decades of UX best practices. It's also consistently annoying as I keep pressing at it unconsciously as the arrow is not only closest to the digit of a right-handed user, but also acts as a visual call to action. Of course based on the triage process around here I look forward to years of gradually learning to not press the inactive button that looks like it should do something. Thanks!

If you live / stay in one country (say France - Euro) and then move to another country  (say UK - sterling) ; and you have a subscription, and you want to change the subscription currency from Euro to the local one (in this case sterling) , you can’t.  This is a bit annoying.  apparently you have to cancel your existing subscription and the (I think) start a new subscription in a different currency.  Strava says the data that you have access to from your subscription won’t be lost ….. I haven’t tried it yet. 

Cannot upload my Zwift ride to Strava while using my Tacx Neo trainer without uploading the ride manually to Strava. Cannot seem to solve the problem. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks - Dave

Hi, In Strava Routes desktop, how can I turn off the 'route to here' suggestions? In areas where there are a lot of photos, they block the ability to draw routes because the cursor is never further enough away from the blue pin. Attached screenshot is from Calanques where it's not really possible to draw your own route due. Thanks in advance! Emi 

Hello community,not sure whether it is bug or feature, but would like to ask about inconsistent sum of kilometers in my profile. If I sum up all my runs from 2024, I get something around 608km. But my “year to date” statistics says 585km. Is there a bug, or is there anything behind what O am not aware of (eg. Manual activities don’t count, or so)? thanks in advance

FIrst time on this Strava forum,If Strava is incorrectly routing a best route, can we update strava? or is it a maps error?Like an obvious bug?

When I ride my indoor trainer - an old TurboTrainer type of unit, with no smarts of its own - the session shows up in Strava with a short but non-zero distance and a very short duration. My best guess as to what's going on is that the distance is based on GPS jitter that makes it look like my position occasionally changes by a few feet, and the duration is a "moving time" based on those position changes. When I ride the trainer for 30 minutes, with of course an actual distance of 0, Strava typically shows a distance of about 0.1 mile and a duration of about 3 minutes.Tagging the activity as Indoor Cycling or changing the activity type to Virtual Ride has no effect. I downloaded Strava a couple of days ago, not for the social aspect - I'm in a *very* remote area of Canada's North and nobody else rides here - but because I heard it's great at tracking info. I like it so far because of the amount of *correct* data available during and after my trail rides. I can't get Strava to show me my heart rate while cycling. It's connected via my Samsung Watch5/Health, but doesn't show on screen during or after. How can I make that happen?Also, I'd like to share my activities with friends and family on the other side of the continent on Facebook or text. I press "share" but they have to join Strava to view it. Am I missing something? And lastly, there's no manual, instructions, or video less than 2-3 years old, and the interface has changed a lot. Edit: what the heck is Mont Blanc under my name? Is it supposed to be where I am??

Hi,When using the Strava Android App(269.10 (1226114)), if you enter a Swim activity, and try to define the `Type of Activity` you only have one option.... Commute 😂Maybe there is somewhere in the world people may need to commute via swimming, but I would say for the vast majority of people this option will never be ticked.It would be far more useful if you could mark your swim as a Race, like you can for run/cycle.Posting in this forum as im not sure if its a bug or what, but its been like this for years 

Hey,  I've messed up.  I plugged in my Garmin Edge (secondary device) while Express was running and now I have duplicates of ~230 activities.  Is it possible to have these bulk deleted (pretty please!).They were all uploaded from my edge 500 on Monday May 13th.

I ran a PR in the Half Marathon yesterday but it’s not showing as such. Has anyone had this issue and if so, how is it resolved? 

I was off STRAVA for about 6 months. I'm a paid subscriber. When I went back on to upload a cycling ride I was met with a blank screen with some headers. After searching through the headers I found my activities. But, I can't find the rides of any of the people I'm following. I went to the profiles of these people and it says I'm following them. What is going on? FWIW a couple sent me kudos for my recent rides so I know they see me. STRAVA customer service is worse than useless. They don't return emails.

Two Questions:I understand that if we are Flagged, we should get a notification.... Where are we notified?How do I identify activities that may have been flagged?  I've been using Strava for a few years but never noticed any flags until I stumbled across a flagged activity from over a year ago.  To my knowledge, I was never notified and there was nothing obvious about my activity list .

Hi all,Seems google has released new login screen and that could have impacted signup in strava.I have tried to create a new account using an already existing Gmail account, and Strava returns me an error that I have to accept to share name info.. but indeed I do not see any screen to accept anything, Strava throws directly error, has someone else having same issue? 

Today I made my PR in the 10km with this run, but I am not getting the golden medal symbol in the top right corner of the activity. The next picture highlights what is the problem.The thing is: the PR is correctly recorded in my all time PR record page, but even if i go to the activity achievements section there is no medal or no message that say "you recorded you 10km PR".The acticity was recorded with a Garmin watch and I did not stop to take a break during the activity.This started happening since last friday.For comparison, the next picture shows an activity which correctly shows the medal symbol. Also: I am getting this problme both on desktop version (pc) and mobile app (IOS).I tried the "refresh activity achievement" tool which is suggested in the "Help" section, but it didn't work.Is anybody experiencing the same issue?Thank you for your attention! Just logged in this afternoon and my 2024 AND 2023 totals are WAAAAY off.  Looks like over 2/3rds of my miles,rides,elevation are gone.  Looked at several athletes I follow and same thing.  Our 2022 and earlier numbers are all correct.  But our 2023 and 2024 numbers are suddenly waaaaay low.  The weekly totals are correct and the rides are all there to see.  But the totals are off.  Screenshot below is from this afternoon.  This morning Strava correctly reflected me having 220 activities for 2024, 7737.8 miles and 410,081 feet elevation gain.  Now it shows 84 activities, 3083 miles and 113,519 feet elevation gain?  What gives.  I am a premium member as well.  Funny how our monthly fees just went up and then this.  

Nothing's happening. It won't load or find the right geolocation or anything.

Hi there I set my PB a little while ago and it's not showing in my best efforts, can anyone help is it's not pausing and the elapsed time and moving time match. My time previously was 28.25

IS there any way of getting Strava (on the web and on the Android app) of showing the average speed for each run instead of the average pace.  I have used a couple of other apps that allow you to specify your preference, but I could not see such a setting in Strava on the web or in the app.  This app is not of much use to me without this feature.  I know many (most?) people prefer to see the pace, but I prefer speed (km/h).  

Hi My zepp - amazfit- does not upload map data to strava automatically.And I have figured out online that if I create my zepp account with the US region instead of Korea, the issue can be solved.  However as I have used my zepp account with KR(South Korea) region, I dont want to recreate my zepp account ended up losing my past data. Can you solve the issue?

I use the progress features quite a lot and find them helpful i.e. monthly fitness and relative effort. I logged a 10km then yesterday via Runna and it loaded a Ross the my activity fees no problem, but it is not showing against any of my progress?

HiWith the recent web UI update I can't find a way to search for an athlete or segment. These 2 features are gone forever or I can expect to have them back? I think they are essential to have and it is not nice to remove them without any communication.
