Hello Strava Community, I’m reaching out to express my concerns regarding some of the recent changes to Strava’s map features, particularly focusing on the Global Heatmap color update that occurred a few days ago. The recent update changed the color of the Global Heatmap from its familiar blueto a purplish hue. This new color blends too closely with the red of the Personal Heatmap, making it difficult to differentiate between the two, especially in Satellite View. This seemingly minor change significantly impacts our ability to read the maps accurately and make informed decisions about our routes. Hi guys it's great to be here. I started walking Sunday . It recorded my whole walk . I wasn't a paid member then . Then the day after it recorded 3min of an 36 min walk , and the same today . It's also not  showing beginning and end , Evan though I have changed in settings. Also today it recorded 3min again . Then on another map the whole walk. Iv paid for the monthly subscription, I'm sure last year it was free and you could record the whole activity. Help please 🥺

Since early March importing a swim from a tcx file gives errors. The time and heart rate come through, but not the distance (says it is 0m). It does seem to have it under the individual laps. I cannot see how to edit it, and if I create a manual entry instead, all the lap data is lost. Is this a known error? How can I fix it?

I was a bit too fast re-activating my subscription. It's now linked to my old account (the one I'm logged on with here). I need to move it to my active account. How can I do this?

The weekly heatmap doesn't seem very useful. Because the heat scale is global, areas with a lot of cyclists just show almost every road as red, and areas without a lot of cyclists just show everything as blue. It's OK, though not great, in high-usage areas but, in lower-usage areas, the heatmap just looks like an ordinary road map, except that a few very minor roads are coloured "barely anyone cycles here" rather than "only a few people cycle here". To be useful, I think there needs to be a way of adjusting the heat scaling, so that one can set the most popular roads in a given area to show up red, even if they're not very popular on the global scale. There could even be an option in the user interface to automatically scale the heat so that the most popular road displayed at the moment is red, regardless of how popular it actually is.

My all time PR is not showing up on the leaderboard. Everything in my settings is turned on for everyone to see.  

i click on the segment, and it gives me the all-time top 10 leader board, but is there a way to compare to my top 10 best efforts?i cant even remember when the last time i did this route, or i would go back and select a previous date to compare this PRthanks

I record my run using strava on my phone, not using watch. During run (after 1km), the pace is "9 30". After I finished the run, the pace split in the activity log is "9 15". How can i fix this?

I am a Trails Coordinator in my city. I would like to create a contest for people to ride/run/walk a certain segment of trail. Each lap they do can count as a point, and perhaps the fastest time can count as some amount of bonus points. Each point is equivalent to an entry into a drawing, with the grand prize and a few secondary prizes being awarded at the end of the month. I want to do this for each month, rotating through some of our trails that don't see as much attention in order to help motivate folks to use them. If you completed the contest each month, you're eligible for a big end-of-year prize.In order to accomplish this, I need athletes to opt-in somehow (so only people aware of the contest are eligible for prizes), and I need to be able to see all of the opted-in athletes that completed the task, how many times they completed the task, and who did it fastest.It seems like the type of thing a "Challenge" might be able to achieve, but there's no avenue for me

I created a group challenge to raise money for charity with my colleagues. The challenge has ended and I need to extend it because we haven’t quite hit the distance target. How do I do this?

Good afternoon; I am a Strava Subscriber; And I created a segment on the streets of my neighborhood that is a drawing of a Christmas Tree, and last year, we held an event together with my runner friends, for a solidarity training to collect boxes of chocolates to make up Christmas baskets. for needy families in my neighborhood, and each runner athlete donated one or more boxes of candy; It was a success, we collected more than 100 boxes; and this year we will repeat it, so I was wondering if there is the possibility of all the athletes who participate going full circle in the follow-up; publish on Strava (whether the athlete is a subscriber or not);

I am about to celebrate 60 YO, and want to create a challenge for myself (1963km in 60 days) is it possible to create such a challenge on Strava where the app counts my km within the time frame?  Thank you all 

Hi, I created a group challenge last year but the max number of participants I could add into a group challenge was (I think) 25. I therefore had to set up a few groups we had about 60 participators.I hope to run the same challenge again this July and just read that the max capacity per group has now been raised to 200? Is anyone able to confirm if this is correct? If so then great! - if not I’ll have to figure out another way of sorting the challenge so that everyone is in one group. 

Hi there, I recent got the app to try it out. I then tried to cancel the subscription before the annual subscription was taken out due to not really getting on with the app and have just seen that the money has still been taken from bank. Is there anyway I can please be refunded as tried to cancel the subscription before it purchased it for the year. 

So I created my account and I selected some sport including bicycle, hike and running. But when I try to change my default sport for hiking, it isn't visible in the dropdown, there is only cycling and running visible.   Any help will be appreciated 🙂

Curious if there’s anything that can be done to have turn by turn directions on live segments. I imagine you could add a route but it would be helpful to have directions during a segment and even directions to nearby segments.

When importing an IFIT workout from my Nordictrack treadmill, no elevation stats show up.  When imported into other programs, such as RUNNA and Training Peaks, the elevation does show.  Why is this data not showing in Strava?

Hi, the last few walks I’ve done on the Strava app don’t appear to be recording my step count. I’ve checked all permissions from apple health and vice versa and they are all on, tried to crop the route slightly just to see it would reset but nothing. Any ideas?

I've noticed that the photos I upload to Strava no longer display on the maps of my activities. I believe this may be related to the privacy controls described in this help article (https://support.strava.com/hc/en-us/articles/360025920332-Strava-s-Privacy-Controls-FAQ). However, the article doesn't describe how "near" to a hidden portion of the activity photos must be to be hidden, and the behavior doesn't seem consistent. For example, I have activities from earlier this year with photos taken within a few blocks of a hidden portion that are displayed, and more recent activities with photos taken several miles from the hidden portion that aren't displayed. Hey, I have a problem with the pacing system. Before Strava showed me the pace per each kilometer and now it seems to be the average pace from my run which isn’t optimal for interval training. I have a Strava subscription, which I think should make it able so I can see the pace per kilometer.  anyone have any ideas on what I could do to fix it? 

Since a few months the graphs in the activities show 2 metrics, of which always the altitude profile which is hiding the underlying metric, like speed, heart beat, power etc... how can I go back to graphs with only 1 metric, without the altitude profile?
