 Hey folks, I can no longer access my routes from my mobile devices… I get an error message that I’m offline and IM NOT!  anyone else seen this?  All the map graphics have urned off too 

Is it possible to track an indoor rowing machine session? If so, what are the best ways to do this?

This message is about logging a ski activity on Strava and the many problems I encountered.I have used Strava for all sorts of activity and sports tracking; running, hiking, biking, climbing, swimming, walking, workouts, etc.I am a frequent skier but never logged on strava, this year I decided to try the "supported" Alpine Skiing" function out.The first two weeks I logged my activities using my Garmin Fenix 5X watch and it worked well. The transferred data was correct and the lifts weren't included in my total distance. However, my relative effort was between 5-15 every single day. These were days where we skied on average 40 km. Intensity varied but a RE of 8 compared to 32 for a 4 km light jog. When I changed from measuring using heart rate to "How hard was this activity" it suddenly jumped to 100-250. This didn't give me any useful insights into how my fitness changed during these 2 weeks, really disappointing because I like using the feature and now it is either downhill for two we

Is there any way to not show club and challenge joins in your dashboard feed.I would like to only see actual activities and posts there, I'm really not interested in what clubs anybody I follow happens to be joining, nor really the challenges they joi, and it just clutters up my feed, so I can't actually see some activities.

Every time I comment on a notable activity (such as a race) of another Strava user, my email inbox get flooded with comments from other users on the same activity, most of whom I don't know and completely uninterested in their comments. Most of these comments are simple congratulations.Is there any way to stop that? I have already unchecked a corresponding option for a push notification, but I still get emails. For example, after yesterday's race, in which I also participated, I received at least 20 such emails about someone who I don't know commenting on another person's race. 

On an activity where I ONLY use my Iphone to record on Strava (no iwatch or gps). After I finish the activity, it correctly shows right away on Strava with map and pictures and statistics. One day later, the same activity shows on Strava as a duplicate exactly the same but WITHOUT the map. Pretty annoying. Any solutions?

Hello, any idea what these stats are and how they're calculated? Also, it shows "biggest climb of x metres" but you can't trace it back to anything?  

When I record a swim from polar to strava, it records the time and distance for the entire session including the rest time which then makes the pace inaccurate. It seems like this has just started recently, is this the right forum to post about it? 

I noticed that a common ski trail in our area is missing from the basic Strava map and I need to create a route on it for a race map.  I have skied it and created a segment on it - is there a way to turn my segment into a trail that shows on Strava so that I can create a route on it?  How do these trail systems get established on the trail maps that show on Strava?

When you don't want to have visibility of your activity set to everyone, your activity won't count towards certain challenges and counters, which is fine. But some counters are purely personal, like your weekly or yearly distance, and not adding the activities to those useful.In my ride today I got a KOM I got because it was very windy. I don't really want that KOM and because there's no other option not to appear on leaderboards I set the ride to 'followers'. By doing so the distance disappeared form my weekly and yearly counts, so I reset it to 'everyone' because I use those counts a lot.Does anyone know if it is possible to set a ride to 'followers' and still have the counters update, or is there any other option to have rides count without appearing on leaderboards?

Is there a way to have a STRAVA Beacon started when starting an apple activity? My Garmin Felix automatically sends a STRAVA beacon when beginning a run, so I was hoping this can work with an Apple workout as well. 

My segment time is not showing up on leader boards?    

Is there any plans to integrate Orangetheory workouts into the Strava app the same way a Peloton workout automatically integrated?

Some segments in Zwift have been flagged as "hazardous".Suggest that all virtual segments can not be flagged as such. Annoying that my favorite climb KOM does not appear anymore.

The OCD gremlin in me really enjoyed cleaning up bad segments. Reporting the duplicates, editing the starting position from someone’s favorite parking spot… But I can’t find that tool anymore and there are still some simple edits that can be done for example:the start of this northbound segment requires entry from an unmarked trailhead at a ditch further up a paved road with no bike lane:https://www.strava.com/segments/5385871while the southbound has a simple, clearly marked, and established start + finish on the established trail that runs along a major acequia (irrigation canal) without diversion.https://www.strava.com/segments/8981685 

Hi everyone, I'm new to Strava and interested in switching over from the UA Map My Run app.  After looking at the Strava web site and watching a couple of review videos I'm not finding what I need: the app I'm currently using can be configured to give me voice feedback in regular intervals with information such as distance & time run, average pace, current pace, heart rate.  Does Strava offer this?Thanks! 

In November I added a new bike to Strava which I now exclusively ride. Therefore I retired my other bikes. The issue is that the cumulative kilometers for this bike are completely off. It says 2600 km while it is actually closer to ~900 km after adding the rides by hand. It does have a separate frame component which also shows about 900 km when I set the correct starting date. However, it does not change the 2600 km on the bike. How can I resolve this?

In the past when creating routes with the global heatmap activated there was a lot more available than there currently is.  If I look at the global heat map outside of the route creator with all sports selected, I can see these additional heat lines.However, if I go into the route creator, there is no option for all sports and so it gets filtered by preferred activity (biking, running, hiking, walking, etc...), but none of these is anywhere near as detailed as the global heat map with all sports selected. Is there any way when creating a route to have the global heat map show all sports again.  I have often used this when creating routes on less traveled trails, but that still had enough traffic to show up on the global heat map (and still show up on it with all sports selected), but no longer show up when creating a route.

Hi, why don’t I get fitness points for both workouts if I do two workouts same day? Anyone experienced the same?

I've linked my Strava account to my JustGiving account but every time I do a walk, I just see a map showing an area of the Pacific Ocean, and my walk route is not shown when I reposition the map to my location. Any idea why ?

Otherwise you saturate the app with your contacts or you have to block everything and activate the settings for each activity regardless of whether you are one of those who record everything. Hey, I recently started a group challenge - 90 miles in 30 days - "90 in 30" and a club "Sam B's 90 in 30 Club". I think a great feature would be to able to add/make challenges through clubs, not just events. So for example my club 'Sam B's 90 in 30 club' would include a challenge every 30 days/month of 90 miles in 30 days (Walking,`Running, Hiking) instead of these two things being separate. I understand this might be a premium feature, since I can only make 3 challenges with my current account. I'm also a graphic designer and would love to create and add my own badge to my 90 in 30 challenge for successfully completing it, make my trophy case all snazzy. Either this is a feature already and I don't know how to do it or could be a great creative opportunity especially if we could create challenges through clubs. Would love to hear everyones thoughts!Sam B  

Some time ago the mobile app spontaneously changed my language from English to Russian. I don't know Russian, I use the English version. How can I restore the correct language? Everything is fine on the website. I reinstalled strava but this did not help.

Hello everyone!In the last 3 weeks, my Strava data started showing steps taken during a walk (in-app, Android).They're wildly inaccurate - today, 5.33 mile walk = 584 steps! 😄How can I stop the steps showing or make it accurate? Thanks in advance, Sarah

When devising a new route on Strava's mapping tool from a PC, I cannot draw the return route over an existing section of the route. Manual mode does not seem to solve the problem either. Is there an easy fix, what am I doing wrong, it used to work just fine, and this is the only reason why I pay for Strava. I am already having to post the group rides in Ride with GPS, but I would rather return to Strava is I could get it to actually work like it used to work. Any guidance is appreciated!
