I've linked my Strava account to my Viafit account, but workout info in my Viafit account is not being received by Strava. (FWIW, Viafit appears to be part of Egym.)Big picture: I have a Matrix R50 stationary bike with an xID (Viafit) username. Workout info (particularly calories burned) is therefore recorded to my Viafit account. Ultimately, I want that data sent to my MyFitnessPal account so my daily diary would have data about calories burned through exercise.MyFitnessPal does not play well (or at all) with Viafit/Egym, so it was suggested that I find an intermediary service to connect the two. Like an interpreter--one that speaks Viafit and one that speaks MFP. The concept: The interpreter gets info from Viafit, and then the interpreter sends that info to MFP.According to online sources, Strava speaks both Viafit and MFP. I am a Nike Run Club (NRC) user and get most of my running workouts from the NRC app.  I also have an apple watch and use the Apple Fitness app.  My NRC account, Apple Fitness account, and Strava account are all conveniently connected so that when I do a NRC workout, it automatically uploads to Strava and also gets recorded on my Apple Fitness app, which I love.  The problem is that Strava also uploads the same NRC workout onto Apple Fitness, so each workout I do gets recorded twice on Apple Fitness.  Any suggestions on how to correct this?  I still want my Strava and Apple Fitness accounts to be connected so that if I do a workout outside of NRC, it still gets automatically shared between Strava and Apple.

When recording a ride, my screen cycles through different metrics.  I want to stay n same screen = time, speed and distance. Where is this setting option?  Thanks 

Hello, All of a sudden Generate Community Routes (App>Maps>choose sport and distance) don't seem to be appearing in my Wahoo app. Everything else seems to sync fine (built routes, routes saves from former rides...) apart from these.  Have tried deauthorising and re authorising, but doesn't seem to help. Any ideas...? Mike

Hi,getLoggedInAthleteActivities does not include a field for descent. I understand that the fields in SummaryActivity are returned, but why is there no field containing information about the negative elevation gain during an activity. I feel that this is a central piece of information if an activity's start/end places are not the same.Are there plans to add this information? If not, how can I submit a feature request?Kind regards,Brian

Coming from https://github.com/dblock/slack-strava/issues/157. I have 3,461 users authenticated with Strava according to https://www.strava.com/settings/api, but only 1,226 are currently active. Many users were trials or dropped off the app.I'll work on de-authorizing users before deleting them, but is there a way to list authenticated users/purge these users for whom tokens weren't renewed in a long time? Any other ideas of how to deal with authorized users that aren't active and have expired tokens? 

Hi, I'm trying to find out some things about the Stava community as a whole, over the last year (or longer).Things like sport/activity popularity by country, number of clubs per country, popular routes in each country, etc.To do this I'd need more data than is feasible to collect using the API as far as I can see, so I was wondering if there is a data dump available anywhere, or perhaps I've missed an endpoint summarising Strava data which could be useful.Does anyone know if either of those resources exist somewhere?Thanks!

Has anyone encountered an issue when using the API to upload a TCX file, where the GPS track displays as a straight line, the positioning is incorrect, but other information is still visible? Similar to the attached image.   Thanks

Hello, I'm using the getClubActivities endpoint to keep a tally of individual rides in my club. I would like to limit the response to a certain date, or at least to a certain week (i.e. this week). Is there a way to do this? Getting the date of the activity in the API Response would be enough. 

Regarding swagger definition on https://developers.strava.com/swagger/swagger.json, the definition of parameter `weight` of the endpoint could be incorrect as I think it should be `query` instead of `path`.

I'm looking into buying a Bike computer and with the update to cycling in the workout app for the apple watch and with it's screen matching to the iPhone.  Would the iPhone be a good substitute for a bike computer.

I have strange issue with my personal heatmap it looks OK on the map but when I try to plan route Strava shows me heatmap which is quite outdated (it looks like my personal heatmap from year ago or more)

HII have a Club that does specific rides. The are not club events. We have a virtual route every day that members can ride within a date range. The times are then tallied after all the stages are done to get a winner. Problem is Strava get the entire ride time, so you finish a ride and then continue to do 5-10 min cooldown. This total time is then allocated to the club leaderboard. I then develop an API with the idea to extract the time at a certain distance. So I know the stage is 30km long and would then take the time at the point for my custom leaderboard. But I have seen that to get stream data from Strava you need to have the activity ID. Hi, new to forum but been using the App for a while.Always use with setting in miles, until today app reads distance in miles during an activity and saves and displays in miles.Today it's showing distance travelled in km during the activity but when saved reads in miles like before.Have toggled the option for miles or km on and off a couple of times, no difference to the result.I'm just using the app standalone not linked to any other devices.Any suggestions for a fix welcome.Cheers in advance.H.

Hello,I would like to comment on Strava's algorithm for hiding segments. From what I understand it's based, among other things, on how often the segment is viewed. This unfortunately leads to bad climbing segments being promoted over good ones for two reasons:1)Longer segments are more likely to be clicked on because users want to see "the whole thing". Unfortunately this means that segments that starts too early (before crossroads etc.) or finish too late (after the summit) are more likely to be clicked on that better ones (containing the whole climb).2)Segments that start too early and end too late are more likely to generate top10 places because of two reasons: fewer people do them and a lot of people stop at the top before the descent. This means those bad segments are going to be clicked on more often because people get top 10 places on them.This is frustrating because perfect segments (those that start at the beginning of the climb after last crossroads and end at/just before the

Hi - i'm a new convert from Nike Run App and one thing I liked about that service was that I could see mile markers on the map (in the app) of the run I just did.  I can see how to get mile segment info overlayed on the map via the Strava website.... but is this a setting to enable in the Strava app?  Thx in advance.

I am following the steps of the getting started guide: https://developers.strava.com/docs/getting-started/#oauthI am on step 11, attempting to make an authentication request in Postman, equivalent to the one shown in the guide. When I make the request in Postman (see image below), I get a response of a Strava page saying 'Sorry, this one stays red.'I also tried using the end 'api/v3/oauth/token' endpoint from this example cURL request in the authentication documentation: https://developers.strava.com/docs/authentication/#:~:text=always%20be%20%22authorization_code%22.-,Example%20cURL%20Request,-curl%20%2DX%20POST . But I ran into the error described in this post: https://communityhub.strava.com/t5/developer-discussions/api-v3-auth-error/m-p/25187 which indicates that 'api/v3/oauth/token' isn't even a valid endpoint.What am I doing wrong?
