I have two phones.  Strava works just fine on one of them.  It used to work on the other as well, but sometime last year, I noticed this bizarre behaviour, which continues until now.If I press the big orange round button, the screen with time, distance, and speed in giant numbers shows up.  As long as auto-pause is turned off, the time ticks away, while the distance and speed remain at zero.  If I go to the screen with the map, it shows my location reasonably accurately, and shows the little blue dot moving as I move.  Upon finishing the activity, a map of the route, quite accurate, appears, along with plausible values of distance travelled and average speed.  However, during the activity itself, the distance travelled is zero and the average speed is zero.If auto-pause is turned on, the clock ticks for a few seconds, then auto-pause activates, whether I'm moving or not.If I leave the Strava app on my other phone, a blue strip appears across the top of the

Is it in any way possible to get more API requests for an application?My application only has 1000 requests pr day with a limit of 100 pr 15 minutes.I have a friend who created a new application a couple of months ago, and he got 2000 and 200 pr 15 minutes.This seems a bit unfair to be honest, since my application is actually being used (his is not) and it's limiting the functionality greatly.I have submitted my app to Strava with the new developer program, but I would really like to get at least the double of what I have now just as a start.

I want to leave a group. After a search I learned that this is done in the overview section of the group. The club "Whittier Cyclery" shows me a black page. When I tap overview. This is the only one of the clubs that I am in. That shows me a blank overview page. How do I successfully leave this group in this situation. 

Hi been a paying subscriber since January and strava does not record any of my rides, I am so disappointed with this app, absolute rubbish.

Sems lately if I use my Samsung S21 to log my rides or walks that it cuts corners and just draws straight lines. This in turn cuts my routes km's and times etc. Plus it looks like I've walked in a perfectly straight line in many places 🙂 In the past I've turned off my location , restarted my phone and then it all works again. But lately this work around hasn't fixed my issue. I've gone back to using my XOSS G+ head unit for my bike and now have to use it for my walks. After a walk I have to go into the Strava app and change it from Ride to walk every time.Any fixes for this or ideas ?

I have a current bike set for all ride types for MTB.  Retired bike has ZERO ride types set.  Retired bike gets set on every ride!  What am I missing?

I would like to see "Mountain Bike Ride" listed in the Sport drop-down box on the My Activities page. You have Mountain Bike Ride listed in the Manual Entry page. Basically these two should align. Thank you.

I have had a Shimano Power Meter for a while, and I use a Garmin Edge 820. My power is linked with Garmin and displays live data on screen, and my rides transfer to Strava from Garmin Connect. However I am not currently getting any power info into strava so I can't review this info easily in starva, which is mainly where I do my post ride analysis.I can also see the power data in Shimano Connect Lab, which is also linked to Garmin for the ride data so it is clerarly logging it.. I think that shimano connect lab should export the power data to Strava but does this happen alongside the Garmin export?There are too many things going on here! Although Shimano connect Lab is linked to strava too it doesn't seem to transfer the data?  I have no idea now how to resolve this?Assistanace appreciated! Thanks

Hi! I have been trying to set up an API that will extract activity data based on dates. Unfortunately, I have been experiencing issues with the API registration.I have been following the guide (in the api guidelines) step by step but I keep coming to an error at step 11 (link to steps here: https://developers.strava.com/docs/getting-started/)When I input my version of the link (same exact link I have checked.. a lot..) shown in the screenshot (using postman), I am returned a 404 error message.The only difference from the tutorial that I get when going through the steps is at step 6. If you look at the screenshot (right below step 6) you will see that the user has the opportunity to check a box saying "view data about your activities". I am not shown this box, I only see the first one "view data about your public profile (required)".Some help on how to do this would be awesome!Thanks. 

Users are complaining that their activities are duplicated/triplicated within Strava Apps, because they seem to increasingly use multiple recording devices (for example recording a Zwift ride with a Polar watch and Garmin bike computer, or recording the same run with a Garmin watch and the Strava app).I could try and reconcile these duplicate activities within my own app but it really is a Strava issue, as your stats and API activities will also be unnecessarily duplicated.Maybe some API users really need to know which device created the activity, but I imagine that 99% of the time they just need to know that one single activity took place, and that its properties can be processed.Is Strava thinking about handling this issue soonish or should I look at implementing my own fix?

I have just got myself a Garmin Forerunner 55 and want to know if I need to do anything to the watch for it to send my info to the Strava app.I've already paired my watch to the Garmin app and the Garmin app to the Strava app and allowed them to communicate with each other.When I go out on my mountain bike, will the garmin watch pass the information to the Strava app without me having to do anything? If not, what do I need to do?

Hi, My strava has stopped showing calories burned after a workout. My account is synced with a polar watch and has always displayed calories burned up to last week when it suddenly stopped? I can see the calories burned through my polar account but am not sure why it is not transferring over?

Hi team,I have my power measurement connected to the Zepp app. With automatic synchronization power data is not imported in Strava. However, if I export the .TCX file (with .GPX power data is also not imported) and add the activity manually the power data imports correctly.Can you solve this issue?Thanks a lot.

Hi there! I'm sure everyone received the email today with the subject line: You’re fast! Want to know how fast? Apparently, you can now see where you rank by percentage on segments. BUT when I clicked the button in this email that says "SEE YOUR RANK" there are no percentages anywhere that I can see for the segment I was shown for me or anyone else. Where do you find this percentages feature?P.S. I have seen a low % next to my name on leaderboards in the past so it's got to be somewhere but since this is being announced as a new feature and I don't see a percentage for the segment the button took me to, I'm confused about how it works/where it is. Does anyone know? 

I use my apple watch to record my whole ride but the distance that is only posted was half of what I did. It seems that the time spent was correct but the total distance was inaccurate. When I hit save on my apple watch after my ride, it did not record on strava app. I restarted my phone, apple watch and force close strava to see if it will reboot and record the data, but it still did not work. I tried to record and save a new one (just like this community suggested) By doing that, it did post the data from the previous ride that was not recorded. However, the distance that was recorded was wrong. is there a way that this ride can be adjusted to the full distance that I did? 

Since today none of my routes will load in Chrome. I've cleared the cache and logged out, but still no change. Thoughts?James

HelloI am trying to upload routes for an event I am doing next month. I have uploaded the gps files for 5 of the 7 routes but I am now getting a message "sorry there was a problem processing this request. Please try importing your file again or try another file". I have tried a number of times and tried different files but no look. Can someone help?Daithi

Hey guys! I have a Garmin Forerunner 45 and I used to get the average split per mile. I must have changed a setting. Garmin support was not able to me.  Has anyone had similar issues and know of a solution? Thx!  

Hi,I'm using Strava for cyling, feeding Strava from my Wahoo Roam 2.When I add up my yearly KMs from the activity feed vs what I see in my yearly goal total KMs, the KMs show in goals are higher by 75 to 100 KMs, it changes everytime do a ride, as I am now checking everytime.Any reason these don't match and Is there something I can do to fix this issue ?Thanks,Fred 

Copied this from previous post where no solution was given. I am having same problem and DO NOT want to get emails every time someone else comments on the same activity I have commented on. Strava: please fix your problem with this!!!Every time I comment on a notable activity (such as a race) of another Strava user, my email inbox get flooded with comments from other users on the same activity, most of whom I don't know and completely uninterested in their comments. Most of these comments are simple congratulations.Is there any way to stop that? I have already unchecked a corresponding option for a push notification, but I still get emails. For example, after yesterday's race, in which I also participated, I received at least 20 such emails about someone who I don't know commenting on another person's race.   0 Kudos Reply  

Hi there,  I just realised that I turned 65 last October, but none of my efforts show up when I filter by the 65 - 74 age group.  On a ride I did at the weekend, all segments that I am shown as having completed show me as placing "-/123" (for example) in the 65-69 age group and I do not appear in the full filtered listing.  I have double checked that the correct d.o.b is entered on my settings.The same is true for other rides I have completed since my birthday, well those I have checked.

When starting my run on my watch 4, it doesnt find a location (not even after 10 minutes!). Location works with health and maps. All settings are "allowed" and have reset both watch and phone, deleted and added strava multiple times.  No map, never. Been at this for hours. (Health is not tracking run while strava is used, it does however count my steps, not the location).(Note: i really do want this to work on the watch as i start it on my Phone, i dont have a heart rate)Thank you for your respons!

Strava has me following people I didn't follow / request. When I delete them it deletes someone I actually do follow. It's like it's mixed up names or something. I deleted everyone I follow and then added back those I want to follow but it followed people I didn't add again and not all those i did add. Been on Strava for 7 years, never happened before

I use a Wahoo Roam bike satnav to accurately track my route, gears, cadence, speed etc which I then upload to Strava. I also wear an Apple Watch to track my heart rate. Is there some way to merge specific data points in Strava? What I’d like to do is to enhance my Wahoo route upload with my Apple heart rate data - but avoid double counting the speed and other data that the Apple Watch tracks.
