When I ride my indoor trainer - an old TurboTrainer type of unit, with no smarts of its own - the session shows up in Strava with a short but non-zero distance and a very short duration. My best guess as to what's going on is that the distance is based on GPS jitter that makes it look like my position occasionally changes by a few feet, and the duration is a "moving time" based on those position changes. When I ride the trainer for 30 minutes, with of course an actual distance of 0, Strava typically shows a distance of about 0.1 mile and a duration of about 3 minutes.Tagging the activity as Indoor Cycling or changing the activity type to Virtual Ride has no effect. Hello! I've just bought a Samsung Watch 5 and I'm stuck while using Strava App. There is a way to customize the screen fields? I would like to have 2 screens, one with heart and distance and another one with pace and time. I found a tip in another forum which mentioned to try using the Samsung Health (it allows the screen customization) and synchronize it with Strava, but I figure out that there is no way to synchronize activities that has no GPS Data. I downloaded Strava a couple of days ago, not for the social aspect - I'm in a *very* remote area of Canada's North and nobody else rides here - but because I heard it's great at tracking info. I like it so far because of the amount of *correct* data available during and after my trail rides. I can't get Strava to show me my heart rate while cycling. It's connected via my Samsung Watch5/Health, but doesn't show on screen during or after. How can I make that happen?Also, I'd like to share my activities with friends and family on the other side of the continent on Facebook or text. I press "share" but they have to join Strava to view it. Am I missing something? And lastly, there's no manual, instructions, or video less than 2-3 years old, and the interface has changed a lot. Edit: what the heck is Mont Blanc under my name? Is it supposed to be where I am??

I would like to keep a library of rides and only have a select few pushed to my Wahoo App (and onto my computer). After testing this, it displays both saved routes and stared routes. Realizing this may be a Wahoo question, any other suggestions to try in Strava?   Thanks!

Hi,When using the Strava Android App(269.10 (1226114)), if you enter a Swim activity, and try to define the `Type of Activity` you only have one option.... Commute 😂Maybe there is somewhere in the world people may need to commute via swimming, but I would say for the vast majority of people this option will never be ticked.It would be far more useful if you could mark your swim as a Race, like you can for run/cycle.Posting in this forum as im not sure if its a bug or what, but its been like this for years 

Hello Strava team,I am facing the issue with getting the all needed activities from the club using HTTP request: https://www.strava.com/api/v3/clubs/1066042/activities?per_page=200&page=1As an example please take a look at the user: Krzysiek | Szop | Katolo | Strava Cyclist Profileas he has clearly 3 activities recorded but I am able only to fetch 2 activities using API  

If a heart rate sensor follows GATT Heart Rate Profile 1.0 and Heart Rate Service 1.0 can connect to Strava？Or you have more requirements? 

Hey,  I've messed up.  I plugged in my Garmin Edge (secondary device) while Express was running and now I have duplicates of ~230 activities.  Is it possible to have these bulk deleted (pretty please!).They were all uploaded from my edge 500 on Monday May 13th.

Hey guys. Is there any way to get active calories using Strava API (or even as regualr user in strava app)? Like they have it in Garmin. Looks like Strava doesn't do thatIf not, is it proper way just to do something like 0.9 * calories? But this way will not work if the activity wasn't "active" enough. If I'm sitting at the table i think strava will give me some "calories" value - and all of them won't be active, so I can't just multiply by 0.9

Hi team,I had activities on zepp app, having map data, when it synced to strava automatically. Then access to strava, Strava doesn't have map.How to solve this issue. Thanks alot

Hi, Any ideas on this one? I recorded a cycle today on my Garmin which sync'd to Strava, but it's not showing up on the mobile app. The app registers that I did an activity, but there's nothing in the feed or activities. When I log on to the Desktop version it shows the activity in My Activies but not in my feed. I've noticed that the elapsed time is 11457hrs (legs are sore after that!!), could this be causing the problem? I deleted the activity and uploaded the gpx from my Garmin and it's still the same. I've logged out of the app and Desktop version, logged back in. I recorded another activity and it seemed to come up fine. Any ideas would be much apprciated. If it's not on Strava.... I was off STRAVA for about 6 months. I'm a paid subscriber. When I went back on to upload a cycling ride I was met with a blank screen with some headers. After searching through the headers I found my activities. But, I can't find the rides of any of the people I'm following. I went to the profiles of these people and it says I'm following them. What is going on? FWIW a couple sent me kudos for my recent rides so I know they see me. STRAVA customer service is worse than useless. They don't return emails.

Two Questions:I understand that if we are Flagged, we should get a notification.... Where are we notified?How do I identify activities that may have been flagged?  I've been using Strava for a few years but never noticed any flags until I stumbled across a flagged activity from over a year ago.  To my knowledge, I was never notified and there was nothing obvious about my activity list .

Hi all,Seems google has released new login screen and that could have impacted signup in strava.I have tried to create a new account using an already existing Gmail account, and Strava returns me an error that I have to accept to share name info.. but indeed I do not see any screen to accept anything, Strava throws directly error, has someone else having same issue? 

Today I made my PR in the 10km with this run, but I am not getting the golden medal symbol in the top right corner of the activity. The next picture highlights what is the problem.The thing is: the PR is correctly recorded in my all time PR record page, but even if i go to the activity achievements section there is no medal or no message that say "you recorded you 10km PR".The acticity was recorded with a Garmin watch and I did not stop to take a break during the activity.This started happening since last friday.For comparison, the next picture shows an activity which correctly shows the medal symbol. Also: I am getting this problme both on desktop version (pc) and mobile app (IOS).I tried the "refresh activity achievement" tool which is suggested in the "Help" section, but it didn't work.Is anybody experiencing the same issue?Thank you for your attention! Just logged in this afternoon and my 2024 AND 2023 totals are WAAAAY off.  Looks like over 2/3rds of my miles,rides,elevation are gone.  Looked at several athletes I follow and same thing.  Our 2022 and earlier numbers are all correct.  But our 2023 and 2024 numbers are suddenly waaaaay low.  The weekly totals are correct and the rides are all there to see.  But the totals are off.  Screenshot below is from this afternoon.  This morning Strava correctly reflected me having 220 activities for 2024, 7737.8 miles and 410,081 feet elevation gain.  Now it shows 84 activities, 3083 miles and 113,519 feet elevation gain?  What gives.  I am a premium member as well.  Funny how our monthly fees just went up and then this.  

Nothing's happening. It won't load or find the right geolocation or anything.   

I have installed and given all the required permissions to strava app on mobile as well as on my galaxy watch 4 classic.When I start recording from the watch, everything works fine and gets synced with mobile when the activity is over.But when I start recording from my mobile (so that I can see the route while I am on my bike), heart rate data is not recorded from the watch.Also, on the record screen of mobile app, watch is not shown under the available sensors.

Looking for some help…My Apple Watch says 8:55 minute miles, but then when I upload to Strava it says 8:27 minute miles, I ran with someone else who’s watch and strava say 8:55 minute miles. How can I fix this problem? 

I've just attempted my second ever Zone 2 run which on a tech front was a bit of a fail. About 4 months ago i had tried the same zone 2 run and found the alerts when going out of zone 2 really useful. Today however I tried the same but for some reason was unable to set up the alerts to track from my Galaxy 6 watch, to my phone and buds.I regularly synch workouts to my phone from my watch, but when starting to record a run, I press the heart and it doesnt show that the watch is available and therefore i cannot select a zone 2 session... or at least i'm fairly certain thats how it worked out last time.If anyone has any tips or advice of what i need to do to be able to get the heart rate zone alerts back whilst on a run, it would be very much appreciated.

I recently connected strava with my mi fitness app that i have been gathering ally training data in. It seems like i managed to connect with strava but non of my old training data has synced into strava. Any fixes on how to inport this data?

when using Huawei Band 9, Huawei Health to strava, the record was different. it's very confusing.
