Initally I'm getting the first Authorization with GET - https://www.strava.com/oauth/authorize -> scope = activity:read_all using the access token and storing the refresh token.Now I'm getting the activities GET https://www.strava.com/api/v3/activities -> everything is fine!But when the original access token expires, I'm getting a new access token with the refresh token (https://www.strava.com/oauth/token) I stored before. With the new access token I'm doing the same GET request to get the activities now the issue happens, I don't know why. The activity:read_permission should be set in the first call now I'm just getting a new Access token with the original refresh token, I can not set permissions here. What do I miss?Status: 401 (Failure){"message": "Authorization Error","errors": [{"resource": "AccessToken","field": "activity:read_permission","code": "missing"}]} 

I have a React/NestJS based app that used to work well but since a few weeks the requests to the Strava API are not working anymore... I first noticed it with requests to create push subscriptions and to get a user access token, both of them are sent but hanging without responses or errors... I added an interceptor on my axios instance to see if I can understand the problem but nothing, I see that the request is sent but then nothing like if it was never coming back from Strava API... One of the weird thing is that on the Strava dashboard I can see that some requests are made to the API as we can see on the screen capture...The second weird thing is that on local it's working perfectly fine...I wonder if this is possible to have some logs from the Strava API to see if there is something wrong with my requests on my production app ? Or any other idea ? 

Why there is no moderation possibility for segment creator in strava? If you create a segment, for example you create segment from your roadbike ride, and you want all efforts to be done with solo roadbike rides, soon it will be full of TT bike efforts, group ride efforts or E-bike/or other suspicious efforts..I think it would not be impossible to add few buttons while creating  a segment these days. (roadbike only or TT bike only or gravel bike only, also mandatory power/hr data ect. selection would be nice to have)

Hi! Just wanted to ask if there is any way to pause and resume an activity (running or biking) through the API?Last I saw, there didn't seem to be a way, just want to see if this is still the case, or if there are any work arounds?Thanks!

Hi forum!I’ve noticed a bug with how Strava draws the dotted average pace line when you are analyzing a workout. On the overview page (before actually clicking on “View workout”) it is displayed correctly: My average for this workout was 4:14/km which is correctly displayed.However, when clicking on “View workout” this line is drawn incorrectly and shows a slower average, in this case 4:23/km:I assume this must be a bug, right?

my segments are not showing up in the results table. there is enough time for the top 10. the segment showed up in activity but not in the table. What to do?👺

Hello Everyone,I am having challenges changing the email address associated with my Strava account and I am at a point where I can go no further.My name is Dave . I have been a user of Strava since 2014.  I am close to throwing in the towel and moving away from Strava completely.  I was actually planning on signing up for a Strava Premium account but with the current situation of getting absolutely no response from Strava Support I am rethinking that.I need to change the email address associated with my account from an sbcglobal.net email to a gmail.com email.I know how one does this once a user is logged into their account.  We successfully changed my wife's email address and have hers working fine.  For 4 days I have been trying to change mine and I am absolutely stuck. I log in to my online Strava acct with my desktop running the latest software.  I hover over my profile photo in the top right corner of the page.  I select settings.  I th

I recently started running using the Watch to 5K app on my Apple Watch series 9, this records my runs in Apple Fitness, but shows using the Watch to 5K icon. More recently I’ve installed the Strava app and while my walks can be imported into the Strava app, the Watch to 5K workouts are not available to import into Strava. Is there any way to import these workouts into Strava? 

If your location is determined by IP address alone, then the accuracy will be poor. The Route Planner shows a blue blob over a huge region which cannot be removed.I can remove permission for Location in Chrome which fixes it, but it's not intuitive and it would be nice to fix this. 

Is it possible to seperate the inflated virtual miles/ kilometres to actual real miles / kilometres in cycling?

My power data is no longer displaying on my indoor cycling activities on the app. The data is present online. It was fine until a few days ago. The rides are recorded on Wahoo with a Powerlink Zero. Any suggestions how to rectify this? 

I have been using Strava with Suunto for years and love them both. I now also have a Galaxy watch 5, and use Samsung Health. It syncs with Strava, but only my walks. Does anyone know why the indoor activities do not sync? The indoor activities with my suunto watch sync fine.

I just bought Geoid HS500 heart rate monitor and I can't connect it to DIRECTLY yo my iPhone Strava app. Does it connect or one has to use an intermediate app?

Hello I noticed a discrepancy in pace/min during a Track activity if I compare Garmin Connect with Strava on the same activity.I am using during track session the dedicated Garmin Track run activity so it is pretty accurate by setting the right lane using on track.Can this be cured and have a match between Garmin and Strava?

In the webhook documentation at https://developers.strava.com/docs/webhooks/ I have noticed some usages of “”‘’instead of the correct""''It at least made me confused for a while until I figured it out.

I have just done a MTB ride today and for the 1st time ever I CAN'T compare my segments against all other strava users on the leaderboard etc.....This was one of the best features you had in the APP(which everyone uses)!What has happened to the feature!! 

New to cycling and new to Strava, which seems an epic way of tracking my minimal gain!As my friends and I continue with this hobby, I wonder if it’s possible to see how many times your network/friends have attempted a segment. For example, recently I’ve attempted an ascent and thankfully beaten my previous 2 times for this segment. Currently I can only see my PB vs my friends PB, but feel there is a value in seeing the number of times they’ve attempted it, for comparability. 

I would like to delete all activities uploaded from an old device. Is it possible to do this all in one move, not activity by avtivity?

Please help me to understand this. It said that I got a PR on 5k and 10k in this specific race. But when I total every splits it doesn't add up. I already try all the TYPE OF ACTIVTY but still it does not total to my elapsed time.

Dear Strava Governing Body:So a cycling friend, Georgeta Ungureanu, was recently awarded a QOM on a 4.28 mile downhill segment within the Joshua Tree Park Monument entitled “Wow! SLOW DOWN! The speed limit is 35 MPH!” beating the second place finisher by an amazing 36 seconds! This was a great ride for her but it doesn’t appear appropriate that this downhill segment should be categorized/named  as a Queen of the Mountain when she was in fact cycling downhill (-3.3% elevation drop) as opposed to climbing up a mountain.  THIS BEGS THE QUESTION: Has the Strava governing group ever considered awarding during fast downhill segments a special status by a different name such as “Queen of the Valley” (QOV) or Queen of the Downhill (QOD)?

I've recently started riding outdoors again instead of using Zwift. My usual Zwift activities are written to Strava and then synced to apple health with no issues. I get full HR data and that then gets written in to Athlytic for load and training scoring. Today I rode my e-Bike and recorded it in the Shimano E-Ride app, this then exported to Stava and I see all the HR data in Strava.This has downloaded to apple health but there is no HR data, just a distance and time. This then means the Athlytic app doesn't pick up a load scoring.Is there a reason for this? I even recorded a ride in Strava on Sunday as well and that appears to have done the same thing, I have the workout but no HR data in health.I've double checked and all health data is allowed for Strava so it shouldn't be a permissions issue.

my polar device's barometric altimeter is very inaccurate, resulting in completely wrong power estimates for activities and segments. it would be nice to be able to trigger the ... "adjust elevation" command of strava via API in order to use strava basemap data? this way an automation task could be used to fix elevation of activities in strautomator or similar tools.
