Hi Folks,Trying to use the API to get some of my data out of Strava. I managed to created an API token which works as a bearer token to access the API.However I noticed the scope is "read" per:In order to access https://www.strava.com/api/v3/athlete/activities I need a token with "activity:read_all", but I cannot find anywhere to change the scope of my access token. Can anyone point me to the documentation that describes granting different scopes ? 

Hello Strava Community,Kudos to Strava for showing us in our feed, reminders of previous rides, and other activities.  I love this feature, and hope it continues.  Really nice when these pop up in our personal feed, and I reminisce where or how I rode from a year or two year ago from the activity anniversary date.Thank you, Strava!  Richard Forzani

Hi there, I’ve tried the steps in the article here. Something weird I noticed is that I managed to get the 4 runs I did in Dec imported. However, I can’t seem to get my 1st Jan 2023 run sync to the the app. Is there a bug or is there something that I did wrongly? the only difference I noticed was that during the Dec runs, I’ve used the workout app to track, however on Jan’s 1st run, I used the strava record app to track during the run. Can help assist me?

Hi, In previous Strava Web App versions there was always a 'star' symbol at the beginning of each segment line (in found segments list for given route) to easily add a segment to the list. But it is now missing even though this functionality was useful. See attached printscreen.

Help! I disabled my connected between my Whoop and Strava because whoop was creating a duplicate post from my strava activity. Even though disabled as a strava integration, whoop is still pushing to my strava activity timeline. Has anyone else had this problem or figured out how to trouble shoot it?Thanks! 

There are many hundreds of great virtual rides, often shared across platforms, without any public segments. New segments can only be made private. Rides without segments remove the important element of competition.  Your guidance states that a search will usually reveal an existing segment, but tortuous searches have usually shown this isn't the case. Therefore, could virtual riders be allowed to create one public segment for the complete route length please

Hi Just got the Strava subsciption last month. I ride an ebike to work and back home about 50km all up. When i get to work or home i check Strava and find that there are 2 rides on it what ever direction i go . I get a notification E Bike ride and Bike Ride for the same trip. How do i delete Bicycle/ bike ride. At the begining of each trip I select E Bike on the Strava app. Many thanks

hi i want to merge 2 accounts which i have . One of them is already active and i upload there all my activities . I pay to activate my account from my mistake to an other with i make with my another mail. How i can merge these 2 accounts because i dont want to lose my money 

Hello In my application I want to retrieve the heart rate for an activity: the time spent in each zone. I use: "https://www.strava.com/api/v3/athlete/activities?per_page=200" Indeed there is the average and maximum frequency. But I would like the time for each HR zone Z1 to Z5. There is this: "https://www.strava.com/api/v3/athlete/zones" "Authorization: Bearer [[token]]" But I don't see the link with the Activity ID. Do you have options. Thanks very much

Starred segments Since yesterday my star segments are mixed up. I was used to seeing alle the new starred segments at the top of the line. Now it's randomly placed making it almost impossible to look up later. Can this be put back?

Help please : I have just purchased a new iphone,  I added all the Apps etc inc Strava and now cant open the Strava as my email is no longer available ! So cant add a new e-mail as it asks for password etc. Devastated at the moment. My old phone still has the data etc etc on the old phone app. If anyone could help I would be v grateful  Peter T

Usually use Strava for outdoor walks. Today, I started a walk inside a mall. I was not expecting to get distance/speed info and I did not see the app displaying such info during the walk. After I saved the walk though, it does show a distance. Using Strava app on iPhone 13. No Apple Watch.

My Strava Paid subscription which I have for over 5 years does not show up on my Iphone. The Iphone only shows FREE subscription. What that means is NONE of my rides will show up or most of my followers on the Iphone will not show up on my Iphone App. I have unistalled, Reinstalled, Changed passwords and make sure both the PC and phone match. When I unistall and then re-install the App it does not allow me to fill the user name and password fields which is strange. Apple support says it's an APP issue. I have sent in numerous support tickets and have never heard back. Any suggestions?

Hey, Does anyone know how to access whether the authenticated athlete has a "public" or "followers" only profile? I understand that there is a visibility/private attribute on activities but there isn't one on a profiles. See DetailedAthlete: https://developers.strava.com/docs/reference/#api-models-DetailedAthlete Athlete's who have a followers only profile often post activities with an "everyone" visibility. Even though it's "everyone" the activity is private to the internet because it respects the minimum privacy of the [activity,profile]. In the case you're building an integration that wants to respect users' activity privacy, it's not possible to know to hide activities that are not publicly on

Hello,I think there's a small typo in the documentation of the deauthorization endpoint's response. The doc says that the endpoint "responds with the refresh tokens that were revoked", but it seems to respond with the access token that was revoked.Cyril

How to get details for all laps by an athlete in a single call without having to provide the activity id for each activity?  Or should i make one call per activity to get the laps information? Any better way?

I have an issue, and I dont know if it is the right place to discuss it.  - All my activities from Samsung health are syncing to Strava as RUN. It could be Swimming, walking etc., still going to Starava as RUN.  Is anyone having the same problem? And who to report to? 

I’d really like to be able to label activities with children (much like shoes or commutes) to give a more accurate picture of speed with and without (and be able to show them how many miles they’ve done in one place)

Is it bug or feature that I cannot select for example Trail run when uploading activity but can when editing?

Hello,I'm using the Strava API to post activities for my users onto their strava account. However, every so often I get a 409 error back from strava when I try to create an activity. I know this means that an activity already exists at that time for that user, but the user in question had no conflicting activity.For example, at the following time: 2023-01-09T15:35:25.225Z,I sent a POST request to create an activity and got a 409 error back with the following body: {"message":"error"}. The start_date_local was "2023-01-09T15:00:20+00:00", and the user's latest activity on their strava account was 4 days before this activity, so there can't be a conflict.
