Hi everyone,I’ve been running with my Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra for years with 474 runs so far and I’ve always seen Strava show a distance very close to, or slightly longer than, what Samsung Health records.Examples before the One UI Watch 8 update:July 21: Samsung 8.03 km → Strava 8.08 km July 27: Samsung 8.00 km → Strava 8.03 km July 31: Samsung 5.01 km → Strava 5.04 kmAfter the One UI Watch 8 update:Aug 8: Samsung 7.01 km → Strava 6.82 km Aug 12: Samsung 7.03 km → Strava 6.89 km Aug 15: Samsung 7.11 km → Strava 6.91 kmThis is a consistent drop per run compared to Samsung Health, which never happened before the update.Has anyone else noticed this issue since the One UI Watch 8 update? Is the issue on Strava or Samsung side ?Thanks!

Well, after long long time being quite satisfied with strava app - this week has turned out very difficult.  Early this week the app crashed several times just when opening, so I haven’t been able to track.  I’ve tried to reinstall it several times to solve the issue.  No change.  All I’ve figured out is that the app is not running in offline mode at all anymore, a big plus if you are in the mountains!  The app is one thing but the most annoying thing - when I wanted to add my training manually as the app crashed all the time - login on my computer is not possible anymore by using the passwort, you are forced to those OTP!  Annoying and time consuming, and I don’t see any security profits at all (as to avoid all that crap all you can do is stay tuned in and never log out).  I’ll probably will switch back to a watch record and see what else is on the market.

Anyone know what has caused this issue?Splits on Strava are all over the place, while the summary in Strava is correct. This was on a treadmill with the Apple Watch directly synced to the treadmill. Strava added 1.1km in the splits compared to the Apple Watch splits which are correct.   

I have tried everything to fix the issue, logging out, uninstall, turning off my phone nothing works

My latest ride (on 10/25) recorded last week’s date (10/19). Is there a way I can manually change the recorded date? Thank you. 

I have a galaxy ultra watch to record runs. The strava app DOES NOT record cadence (there’s a problem on it’s own), so I have to use the s-health app to record, then let that sync over. Sorry, I meant to say I have to use a third party app to force the sync since if it’s a treadmill workout with no gps info, it won’t do it. (another problem)Now that it’s over in strava, I want to edit the length of the workout to my actual run so I can track my training. I can edit everything but distance and time. WHY?!?! Why are you locking me out of my own training? To what avail?

I was using the Galaxy Watch7 with OneUI 7 Watch for my runs. There was some discrepancy in the distance when the running workout was sent to Strava, but it was a small discrepancy. For example:Samsung Health distance: 5.00 kmStrava distance: 5.03 kmOn Tuesday, I updated the watch to OneUI 8 Watch, and today, when I went for a run, there was a much larger discrepancy than I was used to.Samsung Health distance: 5.03 kmStrava distance: 4.78 kmHas anyone else experienced this issue or have any tips for calibrating and adjusting the GPS to minimize this discrepancy?Thank you

Hi,After the 30-day trial version, I purchased Strava Pro on October 24 for 12 months, and it's visible in my Apple subscriptions.However, I get a notification in the Strava app saying that my trial version has ended and that I can only use limited functionality.What can I do?

When I use my camera during recording my activity (cycling, walking), the app stops recording. Giving the message Strava stopped, continue or leave app.When I choose continue, the recording starts again. When I miss this message a part of the route is not recorded. I use a Samsung A23 phone.The app is updated to the latest version.Does someone know a solution to this problem?

I have not changed any settings in Strava, Garmin or Trail Forks in several months but last week started seeing an upload from Garmin Connect and one connected to Trail Forks.  Now the double feed isn’t occurring, and Trail Forks has replaced the direct Garmin Connect feed.   Any idea why this is happening and will it impact Strava in anyway other than Trail Forks automatically populates the ride description and has a link to trail forks activity?

Hi, I have a samsung galaxy watch 5 which I use for trainings swimming and running. I've recently used strava for my activities but swtiched to samsung health a few weeks back. Although I have synced strava on samsung health, whenever I finish a workout on samsung health, it does not upload to strava.   Anybody with the same problem as me?   Thanks for the help

Strava has no access to HealthConnect on android for metried the beta programme and the standard app neither reappear in HealthConnect.Oneplus watch3, pixel 9a my syncing had to be re-established again in OHealth to get it to push to strava, but it never appears in healthconnect. 

I just noticed that my max heart rate was automatically changed in the app (not by me), and it caused some weird data issues: All my past activities have been updated with new heart rate zones, which are now incorrect based on this new HR max. However, the effort data (Relative Effort, etc.) remained unchanged for those older activities, so they don’t match the new HR zones anymore. For my latest activity (after the HR max change), both the HR zones and the effort score are wrong, since they were calculated using the incorrect HR max. I’ve already updated my max heart rate to the correct value manually, and even tried recalculating performance data, but nothing changed — the past activities still show the wrong HR zones, and the effort score on my latest activity is still off.Can you help me revert this chang

The imported distance is correct however the the imported time reflected is 1/3 the actual time.How to fix 

Hello, Since 2 days i can't see my new activities, one uploaded from a Garmin forerunner 255 and one uploaded from a hammerhead karoo2.No one can see it, even me, in my profile too.When i try to upload directly with a gpx file it says it match with an existing activity with an url to this activity, so i click on it and i can modify it but when i quit the activity it still not appear.So i deleted it, uploaded with the gpx with no problem now, but still not appearing for anyone.Anyone i already had this problem ? How can i fix this ? 

The activity details synced pretty consistenly but not with the map, it shifted so far away from the original path. Any fix for this or is this a new bug ? 

22 Dec 2023 I recorded a ride with two devices: Apple Watch Ultra 2 and Garmin Edge 830.The Apple Watch workout recorded 569m altitude gain. While the Garmin Edge 830 recorded 566m altitude gain. So they are comparable. Both recordings were imported into Strava.In Strava App the Garmin Edge 830 showed 566m altitude gain - no change.But in Strava App the Apple Watch workout showed 694m altitude gain - an increase of 125m.The Apple Watch (incorrectly) import shows Strava increased the altitude gain by 125m.To make things worse, I am unable to adjust the elevation to fix any incorrect altitude readings for the workouts imported from my Apple Watch, but I am able to adjust the elevation of the correct altitude gain readings from worko

I have a workout that's not uploading to my account, just keeps stuck on processing. I've logged out and in, I've tried refreshing many times and tried uploading a new activity, with no solution.

Recently I started to run with Suunto Race S watch. While I quite like this watch, it has one significant for me disadvantage compared to my old Garmin Fenix 7X - support for Strava Live segments.With Garmin Fenix 7X, I can have up 100 segments synced to the watch, and downhill running segments are synced (despite what Strava’s support article claims). Just to be clear, downhill cycling segments are not synced, but downhill running segments are. That is great, because I live in a hilly area with a lot of downhill running segments, especially when that is applied to trail running segments.Now, with Suunto Race S, the number of synced live segments is limited to only 20, and downhill running segments are not synced. I wonder whether these limitation come from Strava or from the device specific implementations? The main proble

Anyone else having this problem.  Seems like its been a problem since i can remember, years or more.First of all, i have been a member since February 17th, 2014 and a premium member since June 13th, 2018.  I don’t know if its because of how long i have had my account, but on the APP (not computer), i cannot see ALL of my Followers, or all those i am following. It stops loading after a few hundred.I am following 525 and i have 558 followers, but not all load for eachI read somewhere that Strava only allows you to see 200 Followers and lets you see that you are following 200 on the APP.  I don’t know if this is true, but it seems like a bug AND should be fixed for Premium users..

Hi Strava Community,I’m using an iPhone 14 to record my Strava runI always observe that my distance is always longer than my friend on the same courseFor exemple : this WE I ran “20km de Paris”, my Strava dispay 20,92km instead of 20km !It’s a huge error around 5% If I try to correct it by strava it’s worst with 22km ! I shared with you all my gpx file, maybe it can help to understand and I hope find a solutionThanksLoïc 

My avticites is not upploding to Strava from Garmin since the last update at Wednesday.

I have been using my Samsung Galaxy Watch together with Samsung Health on the phone, and syncronizing sessions to Strave for many years. Always getting the pulse data also to sync, but not the last session. I do not know of any changes during the last week, between a session with pulse data, and the latest one without.Have anyone else out there faced a similar problem, and if so, what did you do to fix it?

Hello,I did some hill climb repetition yesterday. The data is correct on Garmin: 8.51Km at 6:18/km and 236m ascent and a duration of 53min34. Everything is fine on my watch and on Garmin connect, but apparently not on Strava. Strava only pull up 8.51 for a duration of 6s, which got it flagged, obviously.It’s the first time I have an issue with an activity imported from my watch, the treadmill flag is off, and I don’t get why Strava is not importing the correct data. Any idea what could go wrong? Here’s a link to the activity, if that helps: https://www.strava.com/activities/16083789430
