IWATCH SE GPS ISSUES

I'm experiencing issues with Strava on my Apple Watch. It's unable to satisfactorily record and keep the data of any activities such as running, walking, or riding when using the watch alone—without my phone. It appears to be a GPS issue in the Strava app. Apple did a diagnostic and GPS is functioning okay and I used the NIKE run app and it is recording and saving the data/maps.Ideas?

One Time Code Not Working

Trying to log in to Strava using one-time code and keep getting errors. I've tried multiple devices and no luck. Any suggestions for regaining access??

The difference in swimming data between the watch (Coros) and Strava

Since 2022, I have been using Coros for swimming, and I have never had any issues with data syncing to Strava. The data has always been accurate, exactly matching the records on my watch. However, over the past few months, the total activity time displayed on Strava has been completely off and inaccurate.Even when I swim for only 60 minutes without any pause time, Strava sometimes records it as 90 minutes. This means that when the data is uploaded, my activity appears to extend into the future. For example, if I start swimming at 6 AM and finish at 7 AM, Strava records my total activity as 90 minutes, making it seem like I finish at 7:30 AM (even when it isn’t even 7:30 yet Hahaha)This issue has only started happening recently. At first, I thought it was an error with my watch, but all the data on my watch appears to be correct. Additionally, my friend, who uses the same watch model, has never experienced this problem. App doesn’t work on Apple Watch

Hello everyone,I'm new to the forum, I'm 27 years old, and after years of inconsistent training I've started training seriously again.I am also new to the Strava universe, and I am here to ask for your help regarding the Apple Watch app.I installed the app on both iPhone and Watch, but when I launch the app from the latter, the message "From your phone, sign in or sign upusing the Strava app." but nothing appears in the iPhone and the screen remains frozen.I followed the installation procedure I found on the forum, activating all permissions and syncing the Watch from the iPhone, however, it seems that it is not recognized.I thank you in advance for you help! 🙂

Incorrect Elevation Gains Apple Watch

Hi All, I use Strava on my Apple Watch Series 6.  For the past few weeks (since last OS update), elevation gains (outdoor ride) have been way off, reporting at least double what they should be.  Is anyone else experiencing the same?  I removed and reinstalled Strava on my watch and phone, but that hasn't made any difference.

Fitbit stopped syncing to Strava

Hello,I have a Fitbig Versa and since the start of the year, none of my activities have been syncing to Strava. Prior to that, everything was syncing as I’d expect, so I’m not sure what happened that it stopped doing it now. I have gone to strava.fitbit.com multiple times and synced the two, all the permissions are allowed, etc. I’m not sure what else could be an issue that wasn’t an issue last year.TYIA!

Strava Outdoor Run not displaying pace or total distance on Apple Watch

The Strava app on my Apple Watch Series 10 is not displaying Pace or Distance. Both stay at 0.00 for the duration of the run.  When the run gets synced, I can see the path I took and can see what my splits are, so I know that it’s logging GPS data, but as far as the display on the watch, it’s frozen at zero, so I have no real time info on my pacing or how far I have gone, which is 75% of the purpose.  This doesn’t happen on Outdoor Ride, or Kayak, only when I start a run. I have updated the Strava App on my iPhone, the Apple Watch, uninstalled Strava on both devices and unpaired/re-paired the watch from the phone. None of this has solved the issue.  Does anyone have a potential solution I have not tried? Since it’s only the run activity that is bugged, I assume it’s application bug that may only get fixed in a future update, but I’m hoping I don’t have to find an alternative. I can wear a vest and carry my iPhone, but a large part of using Strava and being subscribed was being able to

Apple Fitness and Mi Fitness Not Sending GPS from their activities

Neither Apple Fitness nor Mi Fitness are sending over GPS data to strava when I record activities on those watches, it only works when I use the dedicated Strava app on my Apple watch.  Does anyone know why this is?

new version ui doesn’t work on iPhone

I have the latest app version on my iPhone 15 (iOS 18), but the user interface does not feature the latest design. I deleted and re-installed the app a couple of times but the problem remains. This is really annoying. Any comments on this are greatly appreciated.

Strava only giving average speed on bike

 I’ve been a paid subscriber for many years and the appom my iPhone 16 promax just started to show only average yesterday. Is there a setting that changed?GPS works fine, but the app just started to say the GPS is intermittent today. Mapmyride works fine (I always have MapMyRide running in the background and have for years because Strava has failed a few times over the years and luckily I had Mapmyride running to save the stats (MMR has NEVER failed me)Is there now some kind of adjustment for the app to show live speed? (Bicycle)I’m going to erase and reinstall and try it. Will report if any difference Thanks

List of supported FIT manufacturer/product IDs for device recognition

Hi Strava team,I was reading through the info on developers.strava.com/docs/uploads about how devices are detected from FIT files using the manufacturer and product fields.I'm working on a small project where I compare GPS performance between different devices — for example, two watches worn during the same race — to analyze things like drift and accuracy. I’m generating FIT files from that data, which include the manufacturer and product ID fields as specified in the FIT format.I’d like Strava to show the correct device name when those files are uploaded, if possible.Just wondering: Is there a list somewhere of which manufacturer and product ID pairs in FIT files are recognized by Strava and mapped to device names? Thanks a lot — this would really help make the activity display clearer in the context of my tool.Regards,Arthur

Strava does not sync Swim activity from Apple Watch

Hello,Today, I forgot my Garmin watch and recorded a swim activity with my Apple Watch. I saved it after, and when I got home it was not synced. I forced the sync via the Apple Watch Stava app, but the activity is nowhere to be found. I forced restarted the Apple Watched and the iPhone, nothing. I even downloaded an app called GPX Export as suggested in another thread, but the workout is not there. I am afraid that the activity is gone - my wife had the same experience a week ago. Any thoughts?Thanks!P.S: I recorded a dummy swim activity when I got home, and it showed on the iPhone right away.

Fitbit walk not syncing to strava

Hi have been fitbit/strava user for years, my walks are not syncing into strava (runs and biking are ok) I'm sure its just a box I tick but can't find anything. I've reset connection and logged in and out etc, anybody got any ideas please ? Thanks

Garmin HRM connected not showing heart rate- issue started this week

Garmin HRM-dual linked to Strava. connection shows good when recording, double dash showing in HR block, Device shows connected in sensor menu. This had been working fine. Today nothing. new batter and same result. the monitor connected directly to app, not thru bluetooth on phone.

Activities like Pilates or HIIT won't sync from Strava watch app to phone app

My running, walking even pickleball all sync automatically after I have saved them from the Strava app on my watch. I have tried for the last 5 workouts to record a pilates or HIIT workout, and it appears that it has recorded on the watch, but these workouts never show up on my workout activity log. Today, for instance, I did a pilates workout ending at 7:15am, and a walk at 8am. The walk shows up but not the pilates.

Strava app on Apple Phone goes to screen saver - doesn't record heartrate data

When I start Strava on my Apple Watch, it always used to stay Always On - which allowed it to be active long enough to collect heart rate data. For the last two days, when I start a ride, within about 10 seconds from starting a ride activity, the watch goes to screen saver and I have to touch the screen to reactivate Strava. Distance is recorded, but heart rate data is not. I have up to date iOS and WatchOS, and Strava app on both iPhone and Watch. I’ve reinstalled the Strava app on my watch. I’ve powered off both multiple times.Appreciate any solution here. Thanks.

I use a new iWatch to capture heart rate data. Notice how there are long periods of time when the data is not being continuously imported. Any suggestions on how to fix?

Strava Live Segments not Showing On Garmin Edge530

Strava Live Segments are not showing up on my Garmin Edge 530. When I look at the course map, I see the segments highlighted in green. But I never get the segment notification.. However all segments were starred and are synced with my Garmin (they are in the segments list).  How can I fix this?

[Resolved] Fitbit to Strava sync looses GPS track information

Recently I face an issue that my Fitbit activities are not synced correctly. All the data are correct: distance, heartbeat and so on. But the GPS track stops in Strava after 2 km, no matter how long the track is in Fitbit. My last three activities face this issue and it worked before without any issue.  I have already disconnect the accounts and connects them again, but without any luck. Do any other Fitbit user face this issue or can give me a hint why this happens? It's annoying because it's start out of the sudden. I have attached screenshots of my last activity. Live Segments - device specific limitations

Recently I started to run with Suunto Race S watch. While I quite like this watch, it has one significant for me disadvantage compared to my old Garmin Fenix 7X - support for Strava Live segments.With Garmin Fenix 7X, I can have up 100 segments synced to the watch, and downhill running segments are synced (despite what Strava’s support article claims). Just to be clear, downhill cycling segments are not synced, but downhill running segments are. That is great, because I live in a hilly area with a lot of downhill running segments, especially when that is applied to trail running segments.Now, with Suunto Race S, the number of synced live segments is limited to only 20, and downhill running segments are not synced. I wonder whether these limitation come from Strava or from the device specific implementations? The main problem with the very small number of synced segments is that I pretty much can no longer star segments. Once the number of starred segments has exceeded 20, I can no long

Garmin have just informed me that it is Strava that limit the number of starred Live segments that can sync on Garmin devices to 100.. So who’s not telling the truth??
