Devices and Connections

This is a strange thing. I am using my Pixel 3 watch (Fitbit app on my Pixel 9 Pro Fold phone) to track activities (long dog walks, runs on the treadmill, outdoor skating). I’m also using ROUVY to ride indoors. As far as I can tell, both of these apps are linked to my Strava account to automatically show these activities. However, none of these activities are showing in my Strava dashboard. The strange thing is that I get friends on Strava sending me kudos for these activities (notifications). Yet, I don’t see these activities in Strava myself. I’ve tried uninstalling/reinstalling Strava on my phone. I’ve also unlinked and reminded my ROUVY account with Strava as well.Any ideas? This is really odd to me.

App and watch worked flawlessly on my iPhone 14, now I’m on the 17 and I think my app is glitched.My activities are no longer synced and I’ve reset all permissions, etc. anyone else have this issue?Strava app states to accept permissions but I cannot find anything disabled/not approved to share. 

I haven’t found an easy way to upload to Strava a session that was recorded in TrainingPeaks. Is there an integration planned in your roadmap?Many thanks

Hi, I’m doing a hill climb series - did this week’s climb this AM and got a provisional time on my wahoo of 7:40 but Strava thinks I didn’t finish the segment and has recorded it as 9 minutes something. The segment ends at the top of a mountain with a drop off and a fence so there is no more path there - is there a way to get this fixed does anyone know? Thanks. 

Wondering why Strava isn’t counting my steps in my run for my December challenge? I’m seeing it counted my walking steps for the challenge just fine but running doesn’t add to the challenge at all.The challenge board says it’s counted the activity but I’m only getting steps from the walk? All permissions are on, I’m only using Runna, Strava, or my Apple Watch Ultra 3. The running activity was specifically from a planned Run in Runna. While the walk was just a quick Apple Workout   

Hi,I’m using Technogym equipment at my gym — the Excite Bike and Excite Run. Every time I use them, I sync my phone with the Technogym app. It then connects to my Polar OH1 and sends the training data when I’m done.Both machines send my data to Strava after the workout, but I can only see my heart rate data for the Bike sessions. The heart rate data doesn’t appear on Strava for treadmill (Excite Run) workouts, even though it’s visible in the Technogym app.Any idea why?Thanks in advance.

Dear Strava team, I met the issue that I already paid subscription however the advanced functions are still in lock. And when I’d like to submit issue ticket with attachment, the whole APP will always jump out  totally, pls can you help to havea look? looking forward to you feedback. Thx.

I want to link my insta360 editor to my strava account but the Error 403: Limit of connected athletes exceeded. I do have some videos of me running, and i’d love to see how strava connects with it. Do i need to inform the app developer? or strava has to do smthg?

After years of behaving correctly and without changing any device, Strava now seems to give up recording after, say, 60/90 minutes. At the end of the activity, it leaves a message: "Strava has recovered from a problem and has resumed recording". A straight-line is drawn on the map between where the problem presumably started and when the activity ended. Plenty of GPS satellites in view. Cycling, walking and hiking. No significant periods of me being stationary. Auto-pause disabled. Anyone else suffer from this?

About September this year, my Garmin watch stopped syncing heart rate data to Strava, when it had worked fine previously. My app has been updated to latest version (Android version 438.9), Before you tell me to go to “Data Permissions” under “Settings”, it does not exist in my app, or on the website. Hello,I am using a galaxy ultra to do my run, and the data on strava never correspond to samsung health app, it always missing distance. How can i solve it? Thank you

I sync the Decathlon-app-registrations and Strava. In the beginning, when I had a free Strava subscription the time registered was almost 100% correct. Now the Strava registered is always about 90 % of the real time (which is also registered in the Decathlon-app). I didn't change my running exercices..so no pauzes when I'm running.

Just want to ask the group if you are experiencing the same thing as me. My Strava keeps on closing/crashing when offline but works fine when I have Internet. Does anyone have a similar experience or is it just me? Thank you!

Videos get blurry in Strava. Looks fine before upload to Strava, and looks fine if uploaded and watched at Google Photos. 1080 60fps or 30 fps. Have not tested 3k yet. Any solution to this?

app crashes as soon as I open it. I just got a replacement pixel 9 and transferred everything seemingly successfully, but Strava app will not stay open.I uninstalled, reinstalled, restarted phone. Nothing helps.

I used my Garmin Edge MTB in Downhill mode for the first time as I was using an uplift serviceIt is supposed to operate like Apline Ski - where it just disregards the Uplift sections.This is fine in Garmin Connect - but when it moved over to Strava it has been flagged and I cannot view any segment data.It is including all the uplift as recorded activity.Anyone else had this issue? Limited info on the web and Garmin support have said ask Strava… who haven’t responded... 

Hello, when I upload my swimming activity from Polar Flow to Strava I always encounter the following issue. The swimming distance on Strava is consistently one meter shorter and Strava always includes the rest time in the total activity time. This results in inaccurate time and distance data. Is there a solution to this?

My watch has my run in the fitness/health apps. It usually auto-updates to strava. My only thought is that I updated my phone to ios 26 last night before my run and updated my watch to IOS 26 AFTER my run.Is there a way to force the upload? I have tried to log out of strava and back in, confirm that the settings are all correct, and check every other run and walk is entered. My early morning run worked yesterday but not today.I need the run, specificially the mapped route, to be in strava as my strava pushes to city strides. Auto-entering does not seem to add my route, just my time and distance and effort and I would really like the route to be in the app as well.I finished a lot of short, irritating roads off today and I'm going to be annoyed if I have to do this again tomorrow.

I am trying to post activities to my Instagram story and the app is not showing up in the list I can share to? Any idea on how to get it so the instagram app shows up on the share list? I have submitted a ticket to Strava support and there has been no answer. 

Hi all, I have been able to sync activities from HUAWEI health to Strava for over a year now but in the last month and a half it has stopped uploading new activities to Strava. Does anyone else have this issue? I have done everything suggested on the websites etc I have uninstalled and reinstalled, made sure all the sync settings are correct and ensured Strava is linked but still not working 

Hi all,This is not the usual issue of iFit not syncing at all with Strava, as mine syncs most of the time.I am set up so that every time I complete a ride on my NordicTrack studio bike, iFit shares the workout with Strava, but every now and then I will do a ride and it will not sync, no matter what I try.This afternoon I completed two workouts and even though they are both showing on the. iFit calendar, only the first has migrated across to Strava. It will be working fine for another week or so, then will happen again.It happened a few times last year which I wasn’t too fussed about, but I use Strava as my main workout diary and decided to exercise every day in January. Everything migrated across without issue until January 12th, where Strava thinks I had a rest day, whereas today is actually day 18 of exercise.I know it’s not the end of the world, but rather frustrating all the same and I’m hoping if it’s a known issue, there might be an easy fix, o

I’m having a persistent issue when trying to connect Strava to my Mi Fitness app. I go to Profile → Third-party data → Strava → Connect, and it redirects me to a black screen with a spinning circle that never finishes loading. It just stays there indefinitely. Everything else in the app works fine. All permissions are correctly enabled, both apps are fully updated, and I’ve already tried uninstalling and reinstalling them, as well as clearing all data and cache — but the problem remains exactly the same. Honestly, I find this very disappointing. I was seriously considering paying for Strava Premium, but with issues like this and no clear solution, it’s hard to justify upgrading. I really hope you can look into this and provide a fix soon. Thank you.

Let’s consider the following two fairly popular segments in my area - they are the same segment but in opposite directions:  Even though these segments are on literally the same trail that crosses the hill, one of them can be synced as a live segment and another one can’t. Both of them contain both uphill and downhill sections, but the two ends of the trails are at slightly different elevations, so it ends up having a bit more climbing than descending in one direction than in another.Do you think that it is arbitrary that Strava allows one of these two segments to be synced but not another? Does it even make sense to apply this limitation to running segments?To giv
