Primary sport- alternative options please

The primary sport on profiles only offer two choices: running and cycling. Please could Swimming be added, and I’m sure, many other options would be suitable too.

Add Orienteering as activity type

I find it surprising how orienteering is still not an activity available on Strava, with hundreds of thousands of athletes. Even on Strava there is an Orienteering group with more than 9,000 followers.Although there is already another thread with the same request, I am recovering it again to see if this issue gains support again. I'm sure there would be quite a few people recording this activity, and it would be a great detail to have this possibility on Strava.

Ratio Dénivelé/Distance

Would it be possible to add a data for bike's rides ? I thought about a ratio calculate with distance divided by elevation gain. For exemple if we have 2 000 D+ for 100km the ratio is 2 D+ per km ? And if we have a ratio of 3 it is harder than 0,5.  Yours sincerally.

Not in a month or a year but when i do that much times a segment so that i reach 8884 altitude meters on that segment I would receive a kind of new badge (such als local hero) Everest Hero

Add run and bike as a sport

The Strava community is filled with athletes combining running and biking into single, dynamic sessions—whether for duathlon training, brick workouts, or adventure days mixing trails and roads. Adding "Run and Bike" as a sport would better reflect these hybrid activities. Ideally, sporters could determine when they were on the bike, when by foot and when uncertain. This combination mechanism could also extend to other sports, like triathlon? As you would not need anymore to start a new activity between cycling and running.

Compact Triatlon activity on activity feed

Hello everyone. I have an idea for the past months and I really want to share my ideas and maybe get in contact with the strava team. I think for every triathlete who did a race or multisport event, it is just not esthetical to see all the different strava activities on the feed from the swim, bike and run until all the transitions. It is a lot of activities that pops up on everyones strava feed and just not well organised. Isn’t it an idea to make the multisport race just as one activity in the strava feed for everyone and make the possibility to click on the activity where you can see all the details and times for each sport that is done on that race. It’s nice for everyone who loves the data and can see everything on 1 place and it’s nice for everyone who doesn’t know anything about multisports and can see the race in 1 activity. Maybe it’s already an idea that is in progress or this is just not an attainable idea? Please let me know what you guys think from it and if anyone follows

TRIATHLON DISTANCES UNDER 'MY STATS'

I LOVE keeping up to date with my stats-- adding races, etc. Unfortunately, there is only swim, cycling, running, and walking options.  Can we get triathlons added to the mix? I’d love to proudly show off my stats there, since I am primarily a triathlete.

Maintenance: Component Unit of Measure include Elevation and Time

The Gear>Component section is a great way to track component wear on bikes.  Many of the often used components are available in a drop down and it would be great for the user to specify, or additionally list, alternate units of measure besides miles.  For example, I track brake pad wear in feet of elevation (I don’t shuttle) and suspension service in hours.  These would be more helpful than miles for certain components the user can select.  For maintenance activities such as chain waxing, it would be helpful to have a drop down for this but might be even more helpful to list on the activities page the cumulative miles for the gear, that way a user could search for maintenance performed (for example denoting these with # in the description field) and subtract the miles/feet/hours between events.  Without this, users use third party data platforms to find the dates of service, get the year to date mileage between events, and calculate the difference, which is cumbersome and not helpfu

Bonjour, J’aimerais savoir s’il était possible d’améliorer l’onglet “Mes itinéraires”. Je souhaiterais pouvoir créer des dossiers où ranger mes différents itinéraires en fonction de différents “projets”, des différentes villes où je trace mes itinéraires, des “thèmes” (sorties longues, courtes, fractionnés…). Bref pouvoir créer des dossiers pour améliorer la lisibilité de mes itinéraires enregistrés

More bicycle data please

I’d love to be able to analyze my activity data in additional ways, like by which bicycle I was using for instance. I downloaded my data earlier and I wrote a script to do the aggregations on my own. I’ve attached the basic things that I calculated and it’s just interesting data.

change charts/graphs for data +announce milage

Part of why I still use MapMyRun is because I like how they display my activity (via a bar graph) and I like having each mile announced out loud along with my time. Let us customize how our data is displayed. The point graph doesn't even line up with the months correctly.

See race results for other athletes

When I go to another athletes profile I want to do a couple of things:See their training week by week. This is difficult with one continuous scrolling list and dates that become hard to keep track of. Would be easier if there was a week-by-week view, or if you showed the day rather than date of the activity.  See their race activities. This is the most interesting part. Currently, there are workarounds by viewing their PRs which will find some race results, or by checking out event photos and navigating to the event. It would be great to be able to filter their activities to only show race results. It could be a special section (Races are special occasions) or you could provide the same search functionality that I can use on my own profile (filter to activity type = race) on every profile

Mobile screen information boxes customization. Heart rate, speed, distance.

Right now in the mobile Strava app you have speed, distance and heart rate. But you can't change what is displayed. So for example if I want to see just heart rate on full screen I can't choose what Strava displays on the information screen. Or distance and heart rate. Or only speed.

Gear specific data

I wish Strava did a little bit more analysis relating to pieces of gear - for instance how many hours I’ve used a bike, total elevation gain, number of rides. I was able to download my data and write a script to do these calculations pretty easily, but I’d love for this info to just be readily available.

Automatic Commute Tagging

I’m fascinated by the potential of data realting to my commutes. It would be great if Strava could automatically tag my commutes, based on a pre-designated route.http://commutemarker.com offers this exact feature, but I would prefer not to use a third party.Could it be directly introduced and developed on Strava please?

Grouped activities

Give the option of grouping multiple activities from the same day in one post to avoid clogging up the feed with warm ups/cool downs etc. Activities grouped together would be able viewed separately when clicked on, or could be scrolled through by swiping through on the feed screen. This would allow athletes to separate their activities on their watch if that's what they prefer to do, while reducing the amount of separate activities for the day and still sharing the information about all parts of the run.

What does yoga mean to you?

Such a short word. So much meaning buried inside. What does yoga mean to you? I just logged my first yoga workout. I've been developing yoga discipline in the past month at a heightened level. I am working on a history of yoga. When I learned about Indra Devi I realized I could call myself a yogi and develop my own approach, which I will write about if this thread gains traction. Club blocked

Hi,I am an owner of a club, but for the past week I am not able to create events or post on the club feed.The problem exists both on app and on web. On the app I get error : Strava Maintenance and on Web : something went wrong try again later. I have tried the usual fixes - clearing cache etc but it doesn’t help. Regards

apple watch ultra 2 vs strava

When I sync my swimming activity recorded with Apple Watch Ultra, Strava shows completely incorrect times and instances in its charts compared to the data recorded by the Apple Watch Ultra. What can be done to fix this issue?

Workout Importing - Privacy Setting

Most of my workouts are imported from Apple Workouts/Matrix exercise machines. I don’t like how every imported activity is automatically set to “everyone”, and i have to manually change the privacy settings. I like to keep some of my workouts private. Here’s my suggestion: at the import confirmation screen, there should be an Everyone/Followers/Only Me toggle which can be easily selected by the user.

Can I cancel my Strava subscription and get a refund?

Good day guys i would like to ask if STRAVA will refund for unwanted subscription because it suddenly deducted to my Ewallet account (Gcash) with out my permission and i canceled the subscription right away when i saw the text message will it refund me?
