Sometimes we do a more than one day activity, like Camino de Santiago or the Deo Kato long run from Cape Town to London or similar.. It would be nice that a more then one day activity could be visualized as a “particular activity” always on top as soon as we decide to finish it, that merge, day by day, all the activity uploaded in a sort of single thread.Also would be perfect to include a single map with the continuous trace for all the activity. This would be only a “better view” but the statistic are always kept by the single activity uploaded. I also suggest to keep the possibility to view all the single activity expanding the principal aggregated view.Efrem

My apologies if this has been covered extensively, but it’s hard to search for the exact phrasing. It seems that with the major updates several months ago the heatmaps now only use data from a much shorter period of time (13 months?). It seems that the heatmap used to include data from a longer time period. I know others have proposed being able to alter the opacity for specific time periods. I specifically would find it very useful to be able to include an “all time” look back, or period of at least 10 years. I realize that for urban users the heat map can get quite crowded, but with recent updates the heatmap has become dramatically less useful in rural areas. There just isn’t enough data from a single year. It’s the only thing I pay for strava for and it’s no longer terribly useful.While we’re at it - layering multiple activities on the heatmap would be useful. It’s nice to be able to differentiate, but it would also be helpful sometimes to layer two different activ

In the global heatmap view it is currently possible to select some combinations such as “All Sports” or “All Foot Sports”.  In the route planner the heatmap (personal and global) is only displayed for the type of activity being created e.g. “Run” or “Trail Run”.  Can we please have a similar menu added to the route planner?  It’s helpful to be able to get a good view of all the places you have been before while plotting a new route. 

Could be fun to add a feature linking to spotify or apple music where you can see what your friends are listening to on their runs or let you share what you are listening to on the activities bit. 

Hi there - would he handy to be able to set arbitrary goals in terms of duration. At the moment we can set weekly, monthly and annual goals which are essentially fixed date durations. I’d like to be able to set arbitrary or custom dates for goals, for example January 1 to December 1, or August 5th to November 3rd. Many thanks!

Custom challenges are quite cumbersome currently.  It is a PAID MEMBERSHIP only feature, yet it’s very challenging and frustrating to use since you can only find them by digging down several levels manually (too many clicks required!) from the HOME → GROUPS → ACTIVE tab and there is no way to share or post about the leaderboards within CLUBS or websites.If there was a way to actually VIEW and SHARE the ACTIVE custom challenges, then as a CLUB leader / influencer, I could better promote and refer many, many more athletes to STRAVA PREMIUM PAID MEMBERSHIPS so this would seem like a big no-brainer for STRAVA to invest some energy into developing further!SHARE LINK - Make the leaderboards share-able via a link to encourage non-premium members to become premium members!  Let us post about challenges within club POSTS sections and ideally other social media platforms more easily too!   EMBED - make the leade

The Strava route creation function is really useful but it doesn’t give you route guidance whilst running. Would it be possible to export the route map into Apple Maps new routes function which works really well when running?

Hi Strava team, The ability to attach songs to activities would be a fantastic feature, similiarly to how you can attach songs to Instagram stories/posts. I think this has been suggested before but it would be a great feature to personalize activities and enhance user engagement, as has been shown by its integration in other social media platforms. Music is an integral part of exercising to me and the ability to express that in my Strava activities would be amazing. As a free user, if a feature like this were added to premium, it would be a no-brainer for me to upgrade, and I am sure many others feel the same.  Thanks for considering!

To my knowledge it has been at least 2 months since this problem was first identified, and it’s definitely still a problem. I want to know if anyone has gotten any updates concerning this, or if that vague statement from months ago is all that we have on this still very relevant issue. If nothing else, I want to bring this back into the limelight so that Strava knows this is a still an issue people very much care about. Thank you for your time!

so out of nowhere my Garmin watch dnd Strava not syncing anymore. Any ideas?

Hi,I am just updating my set-up between a Garmin Edge and Wahoo Elemnt.  I use a Wahoo head unit to record my activities (and sync it to strava) and use my garmin watch to broadcast my heart rate (I did not upload any garmin data to strava). Because I am having a problem with my Wahoo, I just allowed my Garmin to upload to Strava so I can use an old Garmin computer to record activities.  I thought this would only upload all new rides from today onwards.  Unfortunately, it is has doubled all my activities for more than a year (closer to two years).Is there a way of turning the time back on my Strava activities e.g. to yesterday to save me having to manually go and delete hundreds of duplicate activities?Thank you very much!Cameron 

Not sure if the option to tag elliptical activities as a workout existed in the past and was removed or if I’m mis-remembering, but either way would appreciate the option to tag these as workouts in the future for cross training purposes! Currently only have the option to tag elliptical activities as commute, but I find it makes things easier to organize at a glance when using the training log, and workout activities are striped. 

Differentiating MTB from gravel with regards to leaderboards. Just like you have done with e-MTB versus regular MTB. As I see it the split between MTB and gravel bikes can be done in 2 ways (or maybe more?):1. Make a "clean" split as it has been done with e-MTB and regular MTB so a segment either relates to the one or the other.2. Make the leaderboard for a given segment differentiated as it is with men and women today. Then an "overall" Leaderboard can be maintained and a MTB and a gravel leaderboard can be created as highlighting the difference between the two types of bikes.I really hope you will try to work on this in future releases.

Hi! I love Strava so much! I track ever activity with the app (gym, hiking, walks, etc.).But as an equestrian it would be so nice if Strava would make it possible to add “horse riding” as an activity as I can only track my horse-riding trainings with my apple watch, which later saves it in the Strava App as “training”.Since I really value the statistics of my activities, it would be great to have also an overview of my statistics when riding horses. Strava has soooo many different sports integrated as activities. It would be nice for all active horse people to add horse riding❤️

Have pinned activities in your home or profile page of your favorite or best runs...or worst!  Good for getting an idea of the athlete at a glance.

Add Best Efforts also for walking activities. I (speed) walk until I’ve lost more weight to protect my knees, but walking activities do not provide Best Effort scores like running ones do. I don’t want to classify my timed walks as runs as then the info would be lost once I can actually start running.Distances tracked might well be different than for running focusing more on longer distances (upwards from 1 km/mile - 5, 10, 15 , 20, half marathon, etc) and also include distance records over 30 minutes, 60 minutes, etc.When going to events, I see many people walking these, so suspect I’m not the only one that would like this feature to be added. 

Audio prompts are only available based on distance (every half km, km etc) but it would be great if audio prompts could also announce time elapsed (every 1 min, 5 mins etc). This would be great for timing things like couch to 5k, intervals, etc. But it would also be great when people only have a fixed amount of time to be active in (eg a lunch break) and want to keep track of time without having to check the time. 

  How do I delete it because I'm click about adding manual activity, I'm click about time and I'm click about saving, how do I delete it?

Hi, I am planning to create a group challenge but I only have a free trial. What happens with my challenge after my trial ends? Is it still active or do I need to have an active subscription until the challenge ends?Thanks. 

Using an Apple Watch for tracking cycle workouts with e-bike but obviously it has no idea about my usage of throttle or pedal assist.  When I import into Strava and set the ride type to e-bike or e-mountain bike, does that do anything to the data or is it just tagging that exercise with the type?  Or if I track via Strava, how does it utilize the e-bike type, does it use it to calculate calories? if so, is it best to just use Apple Watch through a HIIT workout to track heart rate and let Strava track the bike ride/route information?

It seems only paid subscribers can join group challenges. Additionally they must be invited. Am I missing something? There are a bunch of other challenges I can join. Why are those visible?

I use my garmin watch to run indoor. But when I sync with strava, i can’t input my Kilometers manuality. In Garmin i can change.its possible upgrade version!?thank you!

IDEA: Add folders as a way to organize certain groups of activities into an easy-to-access place without having to rename all of them with a keyword or phrase.  WHY: As someone who likes to be organized, which I assume people who use an app to track their activities would also be, I feel that having another option to organize activities would greatly benefit many users. If I want to group a bunch of activities into “summer training” for example, I don't want to rename all of them “summer training.” I also don't want to sort the time period or which type of activity because of how many unrelated activities would also show up through the current filter. By adding folders, Strava users would be able to organize their activities in whatever way they want (allowing more freedom), whether for a training program or a fun trip, without spending forever renaming all of them and forgetting what keyword they used. And then if they want to look back on those activities in the futur
