I have one question and would love to hear your thoughts on it.Would it be possible to introduce Season Records or One‑Year Records in addition to the existing Personal Records?Here’s why: Many active people are getting older, starting families, or simply have less training time. Their all‑time best performances often lie years in the past and are no longer realistically reachable. It would be highly motivating to have seasonal or yearly best achievements—for example on segments or specific activities—clearly visible as well.A dedicated badge or a visually distinct indicator, separate from lifetime Personal Records, would be perfectly sufficient.

Hello Strava CS,I’d like to share a few suggestions that I believe could improve the overall user experience on Strava. I really enjoy using the app and hope you find these ideas helpful.I use Strava to track my cycling activities, and the heart rate monitoring works very well, which I really appreciate.I also use the Dexcom G7 to continuously monitor my glucose levels. However, this data is not currently displayed on my Apple Watch while using Strava.It would be very helpful if glucose data could be integrated and displayed within the app interface (for example, in the data fields shown on the screen).Additionally, I would appreciate the option to keep the Strava activity display as the primary screen on the Apple Watch, instead of automatically showing the small map view, which I personally find less useful during rides.Thank you for your time and support!Viet 

I am using Boat smart watch and on the app it is mentioned that it can be synced with Strava and Googlefit. The activity however is not getting synced with strava. Same activity i can check in googlefit which is synced. Need clarity.

Hello!I’ve seen that in Strava profile I can see my stats for my major sports - for me Run, Hike, Walk and Yoga as can seen there: But when I call API for Athlete Stats, I can only get Run, Bike and Swim - no mention of other sports. I’ve seen that I can get list of all acitivities for used by API - set after param in query to 1.1.{currentYear}, filter relevant sport type and them cumulate distance and elevation but I think this approach is overkill (download 300+ activities in December just to get elevation gain for hiking in this year...). Another question is if’s possible to insert into $ http get "https://www.strava.com/api/v3/athlete/activities?before=&after=&page=&per_page=" "Authorization: Bearer [[token]]"new param: &sport_type=hiking

My Strava activity has not uploaded to the app from garmin, its on the website but not listed in the activity section but when I try and upload a file it’ll say it’s a duplicate and I can source it from there.also it is saying that my elapsed time is 196 hours which is obviously wrong I want the stats in my Strava app pls help

I created my strava account in 2020 through facebook. My facebook was created with an email I do not have access to.  Strava is not letting me change my email. I am worried that I am going to be locked out of my strava account. Please advise. Thanks.

Strava requires Ebike users to create their own new segments rather than just mirror (non-Ebike) segments across for ebikes. This results in Ebike users selecting Bike Ride rather than Ebike Ride. For the majority, this is so they get the “main” benefit of Strava, see their performance on segments they regularly travel.I’d hazard a guess that a small percentage of users ever create segments on Strava. It seems a bit ridiculous for Strava to want Ebike users to recreate segments for Ebikes when they tend to travel on the same routes and (Bike) rides as other users.It seems like Strava has historically focused on the negative case - users who are trying to game the system by using Ebikes/Cars on Bike segements (or just standard bikes on running segments) - and completely ignored a customer use–case.

I’m creating an MTB course. It always takes creazy uphill trails (unirdebles) so I have to use almost manual mode or Road clicling (but hen I do not see my MTB heatmap). Ok it’s a shit but I use manual mode. Hi there!Is there a way to access who I ran with in the API? I went on a run and the official Strava app nicely shows that I did run with my friend indeed, but I can’t seem to find this data anywhere on the API unfortunately.I’m working on a little app that just creates fun visualisation for the runs based on the details. And I thought it would be much more fun and social if I could include my friends into the visualisation when I run with them. Thanks,Dani

Hello, I would like to propose a suggestion to add as a sport: horseback riding. This will avoid having to select a sport that has nothing to do with it, and will allow us to have GPS/duration tracking, and to plan our activities. It would be practical and therefore will favor to take the plane because all sports will be grouped (so those already present on STRAVA, plus riding), and will avoid paying a subscription to another app for the monitoring of our horseback activities Thank you 🤞🤞

Hello,I recently received an email confirming that my application was approved for the Strava Developer Program with the following limits: Overall Rate Limit: 600 requests every 15 minutes (6,000 per day) Read Rate Limit: 300 requests every 15 minutes (3,000 per day) Athlete Capacity: 999 However, in my API settings dashboard, my application still appears to be limited to only 1 authorized athlete, and a second Strava account cannot authorize the app through OAuth.It seems like the application might still be in Single Player Mode despite the approval email.What can i do so ?Kr Thomas

Alpine ski being included in both yearly elevation goals without the option of being able to click more than one sport at once, with the exception of off-road sports, all ride, all run, is pretty frustrating. It feels like a different track because it’s not human powered. Is there a fix for this besides just stopping recording alpine skiing and deleting the old ones?  thank you!! 

Can anyone help, I did a 5km run on the treadmill and it has recorded the correct distance but has only given me 3.7km splits. I’ve attached photos of my Strava screen, and of my watch. It has imported from my watch which has the correct number of splits.  

I have a website where I am embedding Strava segments (not routes) at the bottom. However, when I view it on the webpage, the Global settings show KMs. If you export a route, you have the choice to choose the type of units. Please add elapsed (total) time to the cycling activity summary in the feed, e.g.:distance · time · elevation gainThis would let users understand their and others’ rides without opening every single activityThe feed stats currently only shows distance and elevation gain. There’s clearly space for it, other activities get three stats. Without time there’s hardly any context for a ride, two 20km rides can be totally different. It’s so hard to get to too, you have to open the activitiy, then scroll several screens down, it is absolutely painful.

to the developers of Strava: I have been using strava daily for 7 years. I have never been inspired to complain, but after the change to display heart rate data as a bar chart as “percentage time in zone” rather than a pie chart with actual time spent in zone, I need to speak up. It is not helpful to know I spent “20% of a given ride at Z2” --what would be helpful is the TIME spent in Zone 2. I often do work outs of different lengths, and for example, “10 minutes” is a lot easier to think about than “20%”.  Bar charts are not an intuitive way of summarizing data that relate to a “whole”, aka like a pie chart is. PLEASE PLEASE go back to displaying heart rate data as a pie chart with actual time spent in zone. I don’t use any other workout soft ware (not training peaks, etc) and I don’t want to have to start now. 

Group stats is great and I love the leaderboard by this week and last week. Would it be possible to show previous weeks and also by month and year?

There are new activities in strava, some of them not so familiar, but one of the sports more popular is not in strava... Judo, karate jiujitsu, and so on... Could be added as martial arts.

As winter hibernation comes to an end it would be nice to see how my times are improving as my activity increases, to aid this it would be great if you could see your seasons best time alongside your PR for a segment over the course of the year from Jan to December (or another 12 month period in other regions).Can’t believe no one has suggested this before or perhaps they have and i cant find it - in which case apologies if it has already been discounted.

I don’t think if this concern fits in here, but I’ll give it a try. I hope you guys can help me and I'm sure there are also a lot of other guys with this concern.I am a paying subscriber in Strava for a long time now since they implemented it during COVID times. Recently, this notification keeps on popping up on my RIDE activities. All of my activities have no fluctuations with speed or GPS error, my pace is not really suspicious at all because I'm not that fast.As a subscriber, this is VERY INCONVENIENT!I think the Strava's auto detect system has some kind of bug or mistake in its program for this to happen.For sure THERE ARE A LOT who experience this also whether from run or ride activities, please share your thoughts and let's hope some guys working with Strava sees this and have a solution for this.The notif message has this text: “The Activity may be in a vehicle, marked the wrong sport type, or had bad GPS. Currently, segment leaderboards on Strava award KOM/QOM only for the fastest overall effort. While this works well for top performers, many athletes—particularly older users—have little realistic chance of competing for the overall title.A useful improvement would be to introduce age-group KOM/QOM accolades alongside the existing overall KOM/QOM. For example: KOM/QOM (Overall) KOM/QOM – 30–39 KOM/QOM – 40–49 KOM/QOM – 50–59 etc. Strava already allows users to filter segment leaderboards by age group, so the necessary data appears to already exist. Adding visible age-group accolades would provide additional goals for athletes and recognise strong performances within comparable groups.To clearly distinguish these from the overall KOM/QOM, the age-group accolades could use a slightly different visual style. For example, they could use a different coloured crown icon or badge for each age category while keeping the traditional crown for the overall KOM/QOM. This would maintain the
