I have an app where I would like to get the ytd_run_totals of each member in my club. In order to do this, I understand each club member is supposed to authorize my app to be able to read their data. When the user clicks authorize and the athlete's authorization code is displayed in the proceeding url, is there a way to obtain this code programmatically? Or is the only way to obtain it by having the user communicate this to the developer? 

I've just had a spin class (while wearing a chest heart rate monitor) and, when finishing the activity, I chose a wrong sport by mistake (I don't even know what it was anymore). After editing that (I've tried a bunch since, but it's on "workout" now), it shows an elapsed time of 30+ minutes (which corresponds to actual active time), however it also accounts for a distance of 0.37km (a bunch of jagged lines around the building) and a matching moving time of 5+ minutes, leading to big distortions in the heart rate data and graphs. As I understand it, the "workout" (and others) category should ignore the distance data, no? Perhaps the fact I at first chose a sport that accounts for distance permanently screwed it up and is not being corrected even by editing it? Any suggestions?

Hi, hoping that someone may be able to assist me with this! Beginning of the year I bought an XOSS cycle computer and ANT+/BLE speed+cadence sensors. This setup worked great by using the xoss app to export data to Strava, however, I also wanted to record HR data. Jump forward to a couple of days ago, and I bought a Galaxy Watch 4, installed the Strava app on it, and tried to test a few cycling sessions with it, however there is a problem! Strava gets the speed/HR data from the watch just fine, however, if I'm recording with both the watch and the XOSS computer/app, rather than combining the data as one would expect, so I would have speed, HR and cadence, two activities are created, and in the app it says I cycled with.... myself... One has the speed/cadence, the other has speed/HR, and the distance logged to my account is doubled. After upgrading to IOS 17, my Strava app changed the language to Japanese. I've tried suggestions from this post (making sure the phone language is set to English or changing the default language) but with no luck... how can I fix this?Thanks in advance for your help!

I have an Apple Watch SE. ever since the new software was downloaded I have been having issues with Strava. It will not start my activity right away and sometimes it will crash and reload mid run.  Am I the only one with these issues?

Hello team,I have Mi band 7 and Mi Fitness app (+Zepp app) on my iphone 14 Pro. Strava has authorised access. Yet, when I start a run and click on the Strava Heart icon it cannot find my Mi Band 7 and so my heart rate is not recorded with my run data.Can you please help me resolve this issue?Thanks, Alena

Would be great if Strava could categorize courses, or offer some kind of difficulty score.  (GAP doesn't do it).  When watching the Tour de France, they have categories for the hills.  Would be great if you could categorize individual hills during a run, but better yet to categorize the entire course.  Boston may be net downhill, but it's a lot tougher than running a flat course.  Courses that have hills at the end would be more difficult than the hill at the beginning.  There's a lot that goes into that determination, just hoping someone can come up with a good formula.I just think it would be a very interesting conversation piece for people to be able to talk about the difficulty level of the courses they've ran.

Peloton-> Strava -> Training PeaksFirstly im frustrated that for indoor rides (peloton) i need to upload to strava first and then upload to training peaks. And for any outdoor activity i need to upload to garmin and then upload to training peaks. Why cant strava link to TP directly? Anyway...Peloton to Strava is easy, all of my fitness data (duration, speed, hr, power, etc..). Strava to TrainingPeaks is not easy. Requires manual export and upload to the TP site.I found guidance on how to export the .tcx file from strava and import it to TrainingPeaks and have successfully manually uploaded to TrainingPeaks. However, why is there only distance, time, speed and calories in the .tcx file after exporting? Where did the HR and Power data go? To further clarify, i have all the data displaying in strava, after i export, only basic speed and time info is transferred. My health related data permission is turned on, i have strava premium, i use "export_o

Start and end of virtual rides are hidden, at least on Rouvy. Until we are all robots living in the matrix, I'm sure it's ok to disable this. 

Where the **bleep** has Mt. Kenya come from against my name....? Is it just a little something Strava adds for fun.? I have absolutely no connection with Mt. Hi all.  I've made some adjustments to Strava's heart rate zones that better fit me, rather than just using the "auto calculate" based on my max HR.  The changes were saved but when I go back to past activities, the HR Analysis page is still showing time grouped into the old zones.  If I click on the bottom link "Based on your heart rate zones", it shows my updates.  Why doesn't Strava re-group the HR data from previous workouts into the adjusted zones??--Jeff

Hi.  Another ride today with my custom HR zones. I use more physiologically relevant zones, with particular attention to the "orange" zone (from memory about 75% to 85% of max).  In any case, I have custom zones that focus on the 65 to 100% region. However, my HR histogram uses the default HR zones.  Why?  The only thing I can think of is that I upload it from my Garmin 810.  But those aren't my Garmin HR zones.  Why would Strava apply the default zones when I have entered and selected custom zones? Am I making a rookie mistake?  Are the programmers making rookie mistakes. Yes, I'm a long-time subscriber.  This feature is the main reason.  To be more accurate, I subscribe in the hope that one day this will work.  Is it hoping for too much?

Hello!I regularly do zwift workouts with power intervals. I use a Tacx Flux for this and everything works / is connected. When I look at my workout in the strava App, the average watts for every interval are inaccurate and I believe they are not correct. On the website they are actually correct and constant, the same values I see when doing the workout. 1. Is there a difference between app/website?2. Is there a way to solve this / to see the correct values in-app? Thanks!

I am using Samsung galaxy watch 4 classic, I had s3 frontier and really liked the strava watch face, but apparently I couldn't find the original strava watch that would indicate my weekly running mileage, if you guys can do something about that thn it would be great, please

When I use Strava on my Pixel watch 2, even though the watch is set to be "always on", the screen goes black after about 3 seconds and I can only view my activity stats as I run, by pressing the crown of the watch, which then goes black again after 3 seconds.How can I change this ? Are there watch settings within the app somewhere ?

Hi,I created a Strava plugin and am facing a severe issue related to open external links.The Strava Webview has some limitations that make the user experience very bad.Main issue: The scrolling behavior has a severe problem, especially scrolling down. Instead of scrolling it, it's closing the page. Or at least remove that behavior of closing that webview when swiping down?

I use Mi Band 8 global version and Mi Fitness app, workout results do not sync with Strava when started on Mi Fitness app, but it can sync when started on Mi Band 8.How to fix?

After I updated the app today, my training diary and progress graph have switched to display in Km, despite opting for Miles in settings. Activities in the feed still show in miles. I’ve toggled from miles>Km>mile in settings a number of times but the training diary and graph still show Kms. Wtf?

Either I recently changed my settings inadvertently or the goals have disappeared from the dashboard page.  If you navigate to DASHBOARD / GOALS - that block HTML on the right that shows you goals used to be on the side of the dashboard screen.  Now it's gone.  Maybe it's a performance thing, or maybe they want more clicks.  Either way I used to like seeing there.  And sorry if it's me changing a setting somewhere. plpinto
