With the introduction of support for Bulgarian language in iOS 16, Strava application started using a strange set of audio cues. There are some Bulgarian words in it, lots of English words as well, but the pronunciation is usually wrong and based on an awful accent. Sample: /edin kilometer/ in five minutes /nine/ seconds. Edin means one; nine (9) is pronounced /nine/. Please remove this translation and switch back to English until you have real Bulgarian translation. The current one is far from the quality someone could expect from Strava. Thank you!

Every year we are waitng for the yearly summary, aren't we? As it was rolled out a few days ago I recognized again that the numbers used in this summary aren't correct. E.g.: In my profile there are 6.270 km of total cycling distance. The summary says 6.431 km. Also the longest ride stated in the summary 120 km, the profile says 150 km (and I know it was 150 km 😉 😉 ) Where do these deviations come from?

Does anyone know how to post a virtual ride, but not have it count towards the leader board? I did a virtual ride and got a KOM on a section of that ride.  Which doesn't feel quite fair.  Doing it inside isn't the same as being on the actual road.  

The annual summary in my profile has two separate options to show E Rides and non electric Rides. If I sum both the annual kms seems high and the non E Rides in particular seem to be high. Am wondering if the E Rides are a subset of rides ie included in the total of Rides rather than as a separate quantity? Or on the other hand am I simply a superstar?

I admin clubs that hold Strava events regularly. Problem: Once an event has passed, it disappears from the club page and is no longer linked to anywhere and cannot be found (unless you jotted down the event URL before it disappeared). It would be nice to have depository somewhere of past club events for member reference - for example, to support recurring events, or to look up who RSVP-ed.  Or have anybody found a workaround to access past club events?

In Ireland, Strava seems to be using electoral areas to give the location of a run/cycle/etc. In my case, that area is just too large to be meaningful. The electoral area I live in is perhaps 2,000sq. kilometres. Where is this information coming from? Why not use the closest town or community area? If I go for a run in London, it doesn’t tell me I ran in the South-East of England. I’ve emailed about this and haven’t gotten a reply. Thank you. 

The fitness tracker makes you over-train. This should suggest rest days. Manual option to input rest days and periods of illness.

Hi Legends. Maybe a simple question but I just can't find an answer. I've recently lifted my efforts to work back to a level of fitness. On my home page on the left I have a message that says "You're building fitness nicely. Try to keep the remainder of the week under 4." 4 what? I don't understand the reference? It's under a heading of relative fitness but that like 100, etc. Can someone help? Cheers,

It's great that uploaded activity photos in Strava web can now be rearranged. Problem is, each time I drag one photo and drop to another location, a duplicate of that photo appears. I end up having to select the duplicate photo and delete it, repeat for each duplicate.

Is there anyway to improve the accuracy of GPS from Garmin for open short distance sea water swims?

Hi - it would be really useful if the distance and time of activities could be expanded. It currently finishes at six hours and 50 miles. I have done a 100 plus rides of 50 miles this year alone. It would be good if I could search rides of 100 or even 125 miles (200k). Also it would be great if they could be ordered in chronological order. Thanks

 With WatchOS 9.x the Strava complication icon appears to be quite hard to see, but I’m reasonably sure it used to be quite clear. HelloI am having an issue with updating gear of some of my activities. By default, I used to record bicycle activities on my mountain bike.For my road bike activities, I do not manage to update the gear. The process I follow is:Open the activityClick on editChange the gearSaveBut nothing happens. I have to add that these activities seem to be virtual rides. Yesterday I did a real ride and this one I can edit the gear normally (and save).How can this be solved?

Hi - quick intro - been on Stava for years but just subscribed and joined the forum. Was doing Triathlons, and might go back, but currently focussing on strength (Kettlebells) and running (trail running especially, thinking of going long..).Looking at maps on the iPhone, I see a nice list of some popular routes, but, of course, the screen is small. When I plan a route on the desktop I see the start point for these routes but can't access the full route. I'd like to be able to use parts of these popular routes in my own routes. Is there a way to display these?Thanks!

I love the ability to create and save Routes in the subscription version and find it very useful for planning multi-day tours and future holidays. It is very frustrating however that I can't seem to be able to search "My Routes" on either the app or web-based version. This was fine when I only had a few - but as they build up over time it is a real pain to find desired one whether to review, edit, share or use.There is a search bar with choice of activities, segments, athletes etc - but it disappears when it comes to "my routes' which I can't understand, having been able to set up, name and save routes.Am I missing some feature or something in settings? or do I have to use some other application to manage and plan routes?Grateful for any guidance.Thanks.

Anyone else unable to see Blybys yesterday or today? When I click on View Flybys, Strava Labs opens but then I see "Error: Server error! Reload to try again". After the last media-related update of the web version, all previously entered photo descriptions are deleted when you edit anything in the activity. I had lost quite a few of them before I knew what is going on 😞

Hello, for some reason, Strava will no longer save the indoor cycling tag on my activities. As such, it does not remove the map and post relevant data charts for an indoor ride (HR, power, cadence etc.). I have tried multiple times to select the tag and hit save like I have always done. Any suggestions would be appreciated!Thank you.

Currently, when I ride, I simply click the "record" button and then save that activity. It shows nicely in my Activity Feed, and tracks in my statistics.Now I have entered a Route into Strava and will use the app for navigation. Will that automatically create an Activity? or do I need to also click the "record" button?Thanks!

It would be great if Strava had an ability to submit bug reports where the submitter would be at least told that the bug has been acknowledged versus ‘works as intended’ or ‘no intent to fix’.  Submitting bugs as ‘feedback’ gives no acknowledgment so one ends up submitting the same feedback repeatedly.it’s telling that even here in this forum, there are no labels specific to bug reporting or support

How does the summary that is sent by email at the end of the year calculated?  Does it go from January 1st to December 31st or a different date?  Does it count in manual activities or does it only do recorded ones.

How do you make new segments?  Can you see all of them when you are on the free mode and private?

If I go on a mountain bike ride with nothing but my HRM and my Garmin, Strava gives me a ride that shows me where I went, a graph of all my HR data, and a realistic estimate of my calories burned.If I go on a hike with nothing but my iPhone to record on, Strava gives me my  route and my estimated calories burnedBut if I go sculling with nothing but my HRM and the iPhone I record on, Strava does give me a row that shows me where I went and a graph of my HR data. But it fails to estimate my calories expended. This is frustrating: if I export my row to Training Peaks, that big fat zero for calories expended throws off TP’s estimate of my TSS, fatigue, etc.Why does Strava not estimate my expended calories when rowing?
