Either Strava sopped the Commute Challenges, or I can’t find them.The last one I see is September.https://www.strava.com/challenges/September-Commute-Challenge-2024 If there is a November (and December) challenge, can someone post the link here please?

 I think it would be much easier for everyone to see, if our goal is a horizontal line and the goal dots are joined with a line forming an easy visible graph, instead of a screen full of dots.

I wonder why everybody here lives around Mt. Kenya? I am a very proud neighbour of Mollekensberg (BE - Herent), Sigarenberg (BE - Winksele) and many other hills that are absolutely massive compared to human size.So I'd like to change my profile location to one of these epic hills in my own backyard,that also reach for the stars, just as much as Mt. Kenya.Greetings from Belgium; land of epic hills (compared to human size).

It appears that for any activity older than 6 months nobody shows up on the flyby for any activity I have. It seems like pretty much exactly a 6 month cutoff, anything longer ago than that when I click on the flyby I can see my track, but nobody else (even for activities where I know previously I could see others.) Is this something Strava is doing to save space on their servers or something? I really liked being able to go back to previous years' races to see where I was losing/ gaining time on people, so I hope they turn this back on soon!

HiI rode this morning came back , finished ride as normal clicked save on the Garmin but the ride hasn’t uploaded to Strava v?it’s in my Garmin connect app . I have uninstalled and reinstalled Garmin connect deleted and re added drive from starva but it still won’t upload v?

First post... hope I'm in the right "location".  I've duplicated a route created by someone else. I'd like to keep the same route, but start and finish at a different point, about halfway along the existing route. Can't find any insight on this.  I've tried dragging the start point, rearranging way points, deleting start point, etc. None of these accomplish what I'm attempting.  If I click on a waypoint near where I want to start, it lets me "use manual mode", "end here", or "delete". Not "start here".  Is it possible to do what I'm attempting? Thanks!

Hello Strava Community,  I have been experiencing a strange issue lately. First to clarify that I have been using an Apple Watch 9 for the last year. Previous watch was the Apple Watch 3 Nike version. I have been using it for all kinds of activities, running, OWS, Triathlon, Pilates and many other sports. I’ve been to Strava for over 2 years now, so that means both my Apple Watches have recorded all sorts of sports. My problem has only recently started. I do Triathlon. So on Apple Watch is the Multisport option. At first, I had my activities imported on Strava and of course the map was visible on my imported activity. And as I said this is for the last 2 years for sure. But since October 2024, my triathlon activity imports on Strava don’t show any maps. To be noted, I have not made any changes or adjustments to any of my devices what so ever. I do get maps for other activities, i.e. OWS i did a day before my triathlon ra

There is a ~quarter mile long cul-de-sac in my neighborhood that descends just under 100’. It registers on Garmin. It shows up on Strava’s topo map. It shows up on the uphill section in a Strava segment. However in the activity is recorded as completely flat. Just that one section.  

I have two activities that, when I click on the link from the list of all my activities, I just get a page that states “Oops! There seems to be a problem”. I have raised a support ticket several times now but when I check back later to see if there’s been any response, I’m told the ticket has been closed but I can raise a ‘follow up’! Any idea how I can resolve this? Whilst I would like to see my activity, I really would like to download the gpx data for these two routes.I have almost two thousand Strava activities and as far as I can remember this is the only time I’ve ever encountered this problem.

The Strava app on Android has started making a habit of popping up a message pointing out that it is possible to look at my profile.This functionality has been there for ages and I have opened it often enough.  Why does the annoying popup keep reappearing?

My app seems to have updated recently and now the Strava route suggestions is not working.It will not come up with any routes when I ask for hills, hard efforts, off road etc from my location even though it used to have dozens of suggested routes.If you remove some of the filters, eg difficulty, it might come up with a supposedly hilly route that is pancake flat, and not starting anywhere near your location.It really isn't fit for purpose at the moment, which is really frustrating as it is the main reason I pay for premium .

It would be really helpful to have rate of elevation gain (i.e. ft/mile) displayed in activity summaries so compare at a glance relative climbing. In addition it would be great to have runs categorised using fell running categorisation("Fell running races are categorized by both distance and difficulty: DistanceRaces are categorized as short (S), medium (M), or long (L): Short: Less than 6 miles (9.6 km) Medium: Between 6 and 12 miles (19.3 km) Long: More than 12 miles DifficultyRaces are categorized as A, B, or C, with A being the most difficult and C being the least: A: Average of at least 250 ft of climb per mile, and no more than 20% of the race on roadsB: Average of at least 125 ft of climb per mile, and no more than 30% of the race on roadsC: Average of at least 100 ft of climb per mile, and no more than 40% of the race on roads")

I have a many People I follow on Strava but I don´t want to miss the activities of my best friends. I have them as favorite + notify when the upload an activity. But since a few days this notify is no longer working so I miss activities of  my friends.Notify when someone sends a comment on an activity is ok working.

My pace updates I got through my headphones have disappeared and I can't find where in the settings to turn them back on? 

why does this feature use standard maps? Usually it uses satellite maps. Is there a solution for this?

If you are managing a Club there is a dedicated field for the website, but that does nothing! As we are a club that is also quite active outside of Strava, there should be the possibility to Link to that website. (You also remove all links posted in the text)If Strava wants to be a social hub, there needs to be a way to link to the outside, at least for a Club. This gets quite frustrating in addition to other changes that worsened the experience!

I find the fitness trend tracker really frustrating. As far as I can tell it makes an assumption that every day you don't log something in Strava, your fitness declines by x% and also makes assumptions about the incremental fitness you gain from each activity. Given that not everything I do is logged on Strava (shocking, I know) this is totally inaccurate. However, you have all the data you need to work out actual fitness, as, over time, I will do similar workouts, at similar levels of effort and you have all my HR data.  For example, if I do a 5k run in September at a certain speed and HR, and then I do the same run (or similar) 4 months later at the same HR but faster, you know my fitness has increased. You must be able to build an algorithm that calculates some index of fitness by comparing my HR, relative effort, speed etc etc, regardless of how many sessions I have actually logged.

Be able to flag segments themselves, not individuals. There is at least one segment in Boulder that shows a faster time than the splits for that segment. Attached is what I’m referring to. It says my pace was in the 8s, but if you look at my miles 4, 5, and 6—which were part of the segment—they were in the 10s and 9s. This issue isn’t unique to my run; in fact, it affects everyone who has completed the segment.

It strikes me as a little uncharitable that Strava would put the new night time heatmap functionality under their premium setting. Women shouldn’t have to pay more for safety & yet so often they e are penalised. Also happy equal pay day ladies - for the rest of the year we don’t get paid as much as men on average…great timing 

I can open the HUB from the email, but I see no links at all IN STRAVA to go to the hub.  Am I missing something?

Ok, I understood that killing FatMap the best way to get money from subscribers.But why this great tool so bat implemented to strava? Did you see how it looks? Why all the hills pretended to be a peak? Do you really think that mountains should be so tall.  Can you please return the display of the mountains as it was done in FatMap? 

New this morning, I’ve been getting notifications for users who I do not have favorited. This is a really obnoxious use of notifications with no clear way to turn it off without turning off notifications for favorited users. This appeared to start this morning. Also, why was my last thread about this deleted?

Can someone from Strava please help me understand as a paid user why I can't share links? Or when this feature might be available again? I can't share links for tracking while doing ultra cycling races. Nor can I share videos I've put together after for others to watch from these efforts. This is really tempting for me to cancel my membership with Strava because the platform continues to ignore this. Or the ability to link a route that wasn't created on Strava? This is so simple but you've got extreme to disable this feature.

Recently the icon for velomobile rides changed to the most icon thinkable. Everyone I asked was complaining about it just like me. The old icon was most elegant and much more precise in reflecting the shape of the well known velomobiles. The current icon looks like a small car and is not aerodynamic at all. Please can you change the icon for velomobile rides back to the old one?
