Hey there, I've been comparing Strava's analysis of single gpx files to other platforms and something that appears to be quite striking is how the pace plots for an activity differ from those made on the same activity using alternative analysis tools out there. I am trying to understand roughly what might be the largest contributors to this difference...The main two things I would like to clarify for myself:Is the pace plot downsampled from the available gpx data?Does anyone know what smoothing algorithm is being employed?  Thanks in advance! Hello! I just completed an activity and synced it from my apple watch. It syned but has not shown up as "ready to view". I've tried the suggestions here https://support.strava.com/hc/en-us/articles/216919037-Troubleshooting-Syncing but so far no luck (it is not showing up as an error or failed to upload so I can't try it again). Thanks for any help!

A few days ago, Strava app was banned in China iOS App store, is there a way for iOS users to install strava?

I have a webapp, user authorize and the webapp fetch segment efforts. But one of the user can authorize, all good,  my web can retrieve user information and saves this, but then the user doesnt get refreshtoken when webapp ask for it, response is Bad request. all the other user works well. We have tried to: revoke app, delete user and reauthorize several times. Also Adjusted privacy, so all public, but no luck with this. This user had privacy set to private, and request to follow when first authorizing, I dont know if its matter. So, I will be glad if someone has a possible solution for this.

Hello All, I hope to get answer here because Strava Support does not answer.Yesterday evening I had a run and the activity did not log into strava, I proceeded to log out, and when I tried to log back in, it created a new blank account ON the same email. When I followed my main account (the one I had lost access to), I got a follow notification on the same mail that the new account was created on.Since then I have deleted the blank account, and after I tried logging in on the account I have had activity on, they still create new ones.THis is the 3rd account from the same mail. I have a race on Sunday and need help and strava support are not responding

Hello all,I tried to integrate my activities into one Strava account. I followed Strava indications so I created a bulk file from my non-desired account and telecharged the files as instructed.When ready to upload the folder (files) into my desired target account files were not accepted/recognized. Strava says it accepts FIT type files but the ones created (by Strava itself) are of the type ####-fit.gz (exe: 104454534.fit.gz) which are not recognized by strava itself. Any option missed when generating these files ? Why can not be recognized by Strava ? how to upload them ?thanks for your support in advanceBR

How would you guys recommend I try to identify runs that are workouts from the SummaryActivity object?For context: I have a group of athletes who've authenticated my app whose activities I poll to a Google Sheet via the Google App Script and I want to be able to identify their workouts.I have a few options in my head:1. Ask that my athletes mark their workouts as workouts in Strava, from which I should be able to grab the workout_type and use that (?). I still can't find any place which shows what the valid workout types are. Risk assuming this is even valid: They could forget to mark their run as a workout and then that activity gets overlooked.2. Try to use the laps data. Assumptions: All athletes will use lapping for their workouts and never use lapping for their easy runs. Womp womp.3. Im a new devloper and creating my first backend for a collage project, I would like to fetch data regarding from every user that uses my application. I have made an application to STRAVA, and gotten a read-scope, which cannot be used to fetch data from all my users. My question is if the following understanding is correct, can I access data from my users regarding their activities if they sign into my app using their Strava account through OAuth?Thank you in advance!

Hi,I recently downloaded the app and it has taken a years subscription out of my bank account but the app is still asking me to start a free trial and I have limited acccess to the app. Can someone please advise?

Apparently this was a bug that was "resolved" but it's not been as I keep seeing the same posts come up on my feed from clubs and individuals for weeks/months, even if I've given it kudos.Activities I'll see twice then never again.The park run record was broken at my local club and I saw the same post about it every day for two months. Now it's happening more and more as I've joined more clubs. Makes me want to leave them. As it's just dull scrolling the exact same content again and again every day.

I've filled out two requests to be taken out of single player mode so I can launch my group run club app. No response from either, it's been a month and a half since the first request, and 2 weeks since the last request. I emailed Strava support and they acknowledge that I'm still on a waiting list. Who else can I bother to resolve this?

Due to occasional inaccuracies in altitude and dynamic data on my Apple Watch, I typically use both the Apple Watch Ultra and Coros watch connected to the Stryd running sensor during marathon runs. However, today I noticed that the data from the Coros watch for the Hong Kong Marathon is missing, and the Apple Watch data seems to be off by a few hundred meters. Additionally, Stryd is unable to sync heart rate data. How can I filter data from these three different auto-sync sources or manually retrieve the Coros data?

 I’m trying to upload an activity from my sole+ account directly to Strava through their app but get the attached error message, any idea how I can get this resolved?

Hello. I take part in chalenge run 5 days-20 minutes. I've run 4 days from 5 . And I see wrong result calculation in percent - 75 %. But there should be 80%. (In any case it's impossibile to have 75 % - there could be only 20/40/60/80/100 %) 

Hello Team,We have incorporated the Strava FIT file upload via the Strava API (https://developers.strava.com/docs/uploads/) into our app Kinni (http://kinni.co/) for a number of years. The uploads captured the elevation gain correctly until around mid-July 2023 after which it seems to be missing. We have checked the FIT files being uploaded via the API and nothing has changed as it contains the elevation gain as per the Garmin specifications. Good morning to everyone. I have a problem with Strava app and I want to ask if anyone else has the same issues. I have two smartphones: Redmi Note 9 Pro, Android 12, Strava app version 351.18 (1234809) and Realme 10 (RMX3630), realme UI 4.0 /Android 13, Strava app version 351.18 (1234809). On the Android 12 phone which I used in the past 2+ years, all recordings are accurate. On the Android 13 phone though, my cycling recordings are correct but my hiking/walking activities are almost 20% longer than normal. Looking at the activity map, I can see that I am walking in small loops (like a drunk person) and there are no straight lines between points which would indicate a gps signal loss. I have tried with or without connecting sensors (in-app choice when you start an activity and press the cog), battery optimization is disabled for Strava (the app has full authority to use all the resources and restart itself automatically and no "sleep"

Hello! I recently got a new phone, and tried to login in to Strava. I now have a new account and lost my history. I also paid for the subscription and my new profile is telling me to upgrade. Can I have access to my original account that includes the premium subscription? Thank you so much for your support.

I'd love it if only people I follow could Kudos my runs.Rather than locking my account down completely I'd rather just limit who can interact with my activities.Has this been requested before?

Hello, Can we have some kind of challenge status/progress display in the web application? If I recall right the smartphone app has (or had) this circular progress bar around the challenge icon.This appears to be missing on the web version. As I walk and cycle a lot there are a lot of challenges to attend to and opening each one to see if it completed or not is time consuming.

Used Strava for the first time today.  Ran 5 miles in around 50 minutes.  But in one area of the app it shows the run ending two days from now.  It uploaded to apple fitness and health which shows me as continually running every minute of the day.  Please help!
