Hey guys! Just finished a 5k run and beat my pb with 24:06, but when i posted the run, it marked only 4,97km, so it does not count to my PB, eventhough when I stopped the run it said 5km. Does anyone know how can i fix that? or at least for the future?Ps: my phone is a xiaomi redmi note 10 5g

I have a Huawei GT Runner watch (which is great by the way) it syncs to Strava but Strava seems to end up showing a different (usually very slightly shorter) distance, which then throws the pace stats etc.. Why is this? Does Strava recalculate the GPS stats?Thanks

Hi Guys  Would love If strava would give KOM badges by age group. I'm 60 and cycle a lot I cant get near the top but within age category I'm up there. At 60 I'm never going to beat 25 year olds but just because we are veterans dosnt mean that we are not competitive with our age group.   What do you all think 🤔 🤔 

It seems to me Strava invested a lot of development effort into restricting the possibilities to edit components, leading to the user being handcuffed.I simply want to maintain a list of components, the date each was added, and the date each was removed from a bike - that's all. No complex programming logic is needed.I sometimes want to add a note or change the name of a retired component. And I sometimes want to move a component from one bike to another. And yes: I also had a case where a frame was replaced, but all other components stayed - it still counts as the same bike to me.Concrete Suggestions:- adding a frame after you retire one should be enabled (or at least allow un-retiring it)- editing retired components should be enabled- editing the actual "retired on" date should be enabled- moving a component from one bike to another should be enabled (or at least add a field for starting mileage and age of a component at the time i

Yesterday, on June 2nd, 2024, I first uploaded the route from my Android and it showed that it was my 2nd best marathon time. Then I uploaded the same route from the Bryton Rider 15 and deleted the route recorded by the Android. Now it incorrectly shows that it is my 3rd marathon time, even though it is actually my second best time. Refreshing the activity achievements doesn't help. What should I do to display it correctly?

Hi, im struggling with the Strava app on my iPhone 13 Pro. I just downloaded it and was reddy for a active summer. But it won't work. At the start I tried the app and seemed cool but suddenly it just died on me. if I now try to go in to the app I will meet the " something went wrong, pleas try again" tag. the screen is white and I can't log out or do anything. I recently loaded the official Strava route for the Ford RideLondon Essex event.I am now wanting to delete the route from my profile - but the Delete option no longer exists for that route - same on the computer and the iPhone.The route link is from https://www.strava.com/athletes/22990931Anby thoughts on how to get rid of it as it appears locked out.  

   

For about 2 weeks the Strava app has consistently taken about 1.5 minutes to load on my iPhone. I’ve tried reinstalling the app and I’ve tried different WiFi and also mobile data. No difference.

When importing a run from Polar into Strava, Strava always cuts off some moving time. See pictures below. I ran for 46:47. This was correctly recorded by Polar. When the activity is imported into Strava, it says I ran the same distance in 44:53. Why is this?When running, I always manually pause my Polar watch at traffic lights. Auto-pause in Strava is turned off.

I've set a new PR for 5k several times now but it never updates. However, 1/2 marathon PR updated on the 1st.

Parallel mitlaufenden andere Apps zeichnen richtig auf. Woran kann das liegen ? Ortungssysteme, Standortverwenden, etc. ist ok. I am attempting to download the Strava app on my daughter's Apple watch.  I have been able to download on her iPhone, but when trying to download onto the watch I receive the following error message: ""com.strava.stravaride.watchapp" is not allowed to be installed on this Apple Watch due to device management restrictions."I have reached out to Apple Support and they instructed me to contact the app developer for guidance. Any suggestions?

Hello, I made an application that allows users to see the latest activity and weekly and monthly race statistics, but I ran into the problem that when I want to log in with another device it rejects it. I think it is because of the limit that the application has, is it because of this or am I doing something wrong? Any possible solution?

I'm just curious, but when someone starts following you, Strava sends a notifcation of that:  "xyz is following you; follow back"When a person unfollows someone they were following, does that person know somehow?(this is mostly privacy related)Thanks

There might be a bug in the personal heatmap in iOS app. Basically all my mountain bike rides this year are not displayed on the personal heatmap in iOS app (ski activities are displayed though), and all these missing records are correctly displayed on the  personal heatmap from the the website.So I think there might be some inconsistency in between app's and website's personal heatmap. Does the sport type filter "Rides" in iOS app only filter "Ride" activities but not "MountainbikeRide" activities?

 

I reecently had to reset my Fossil Watch Gen 5 and then discovered that Stava is no longer available in the App store for Wear OS 2. Forced into buying a new watch.. Fossil Gen 6, with Wear OS 3 I am having trouble with Strava unable to get a GPS lock. Can anyone offer advice. Previosuly, if I had Strava open on my phone and it had a GPS lock then the app on my watch would as well. Now the app on my phone has a GPS lock but Strava on my watch just keeps saying it is trying to get a GPS fix. If I start an activity on my phone and watch at the same time, it takes about 5 minutes for the watch to get a lock. I assume it is only getting GPS location from the watch and not from the phone. In 'Location' on the watch, 'Use Location' is on and says 'get location from phone and watch'. Strava and the Fossil app have location permissions enabled on both the phone and the watch. Phone is a Huawei P20 Pro, only change since moveing from Gen 5 to Gen 6 w

Been using the API for a while now, and trying to mock it using the examples provided in the specification ran into some failures:At /athlete/activities the returned upload_id through SummaryActivity has type long. Yet, the response example uses a 987654321234567891234 value, which is higher than the max int64.There are some fields such as resource_state, max_heartrate or location_city that don't comply with the SummaryActivity definition.The components aren't sorted alphabetically, which makes navigating through the documentation site a bit difficult.

I did exactly the same commuting ride as I did quite a few times this year, but now the Matched Rides feature is not showing up. Previously it popped up instantly.

Hi I did a race two days ago and saved it successfully from my garmin watch to iPhone.  Wesham 10k.  Had kudus from fellow club runners and comments.  So know it was absolutely saved and on Strava.  Yet the following day it just seems to have vanished yet I can see it listed on my run history. When I press on it in run history a red bar appears indicating a problem in system.  By the way  I definitely have not deleted the activity.  Have emailed into Strava support but heard nothing and no sign of the activity.  So sure it’s a glitch on my Strava.  Concerned as my activity seems to be lost in space ! I have paid a subscription to Strava.   My worry is if this happens again…  Love my running love Strava is there anything I can do ? 

 I ran 18 miles (though I suspect it was actually 17). You can see that my pace on mile 3 & 4 are significantly faster, at 7:33 and 8:36, when it should be roughly 12 minutes per mile. It also added a full mile - the trail I run uses trail markers, and Strava was saying I was at mile 3 when I passed the 2 mile marker. I ran out to the 8 mile marker and back, only to find myself at a little over 17 miles??? (I ran a little extra to hit 18 miles). i don’t want to delete an 18 mile run like this, but this has essentially ruined my PRs and any chance for me to get one. I feel like a fraud leaving it up. Can someone fix this?
