The OCD gremlin in me really enjoyed cleaning up bad segments. Reporting the duplicates, editing the starting position from someone’s favorite parking spot… But I can’t find that tool anymore and there are still some simple edits that can be done for example:the start of this northbound segment requires entry from an unmarked trailhead at a ditch further up a paved road with no bike lane:https://www.strava.com/segments/5385871while the southbound has a simple, clearly marked, and established start + finish on the established trail that runs along a major acequia (irrigation canal) without diversion.https://www.strava.com/segments/8981685 

Hi,does anybody faced the problem on webhook creation process with following error "code: challenge token contains incorrect token"I cannot found anywhere explanation.If I modified the "hub.challenge" and set it to null in callback answer the error changed to "challenge response malformed".

Hi everyone, I'm new to Strava and interested in switching over from the UA Map My Run app.  After looking at the Strava web site and watching a couple of review videos I'm not finding what I need: the app I'm currently using can be configured to give me voice feedback in regular intervals with information such as distance & time run, average pace, current pace, heart rate.  Does Strava offer this?Thanks! 

In November I added a new bike to Strava which I now exclusively ride. Therefore I retired my other bikes. The issue is that the cumulative kilometers for this bike are completely off. It says 2600 km while it is actually closer to ~900 km after adding the rides by hand. It does have a separate frame component which also shows about 900 km when I set the correct starting date. However, it does not change the 2600 km on the bike. How can I resolve this?

We followed the first step in the Strava API documentation (https://developers.strava.com/docs/authentication/), which allows us to authorize the account that registered the API. However, we need to allow multiple accounts to authorize the same API without registering the API in each user's profile settings.Error:When revoking app access in the main account and a new user tries to authorize, we receive the error:Error 403: Limit of connected athletes exceeded This app has exceeded the limit of connected athletes. If you are a developer of this application, please contact Strava developer support for how to request a quota increase.Question:How can we allow multiple accounts to authorize the same Strava API without the need to register the API in each user's profile settings? How can we avoid the "Limit of connected athletes exceeded" error?

The Strava API had an incident lasting ~1 hour starting at roughly 10am PST today where the streams endpoints & activities/{:id}/laps endpoint were being blocked and returning 403 “forbidden” status codes.    The incident is now resolved.    Apologies for any interruption in service. 

A bit biased, but... https://strautomator.com 🙂 All the features I wish Strava had built-in, but I know it won't (as most are quite "niche"). So I decided to develop them. Automations to change the activity metadata, custom weather details, auto activity muting, gear component mileage tracking, integration with external ICS calendars (so you can see your upcoming club events and past activities), automatic FTP estimations, plus some other little bits.

In the past when creating routes with the global heatmap activated there was a lot more available than there currently is.  If I look at the global heat map outside of the route creator with all sports selected, I can see these additional heat lines.However, if I go into the route creator, there is no option for all sports and so it gets filtered by preferred activity (biking, running, hiking, walking, etc...), but none of these is anywhere near as detailed as the global heat map with all sports selected. Is there any way when creating a route to have the global heat map show all sports again.  I have often used this when creating routes on less traveled trails, but that still had enough traffic to show up on the global heat map (and still show up on it with all sports selected), but no longer show up when creating a route.

I'm implementing Strava OAuth in my application and facing a CORS error after my server redirects to the strava.com/oauth/authorize URL. The browser is performing an OPTIONS request and it follows by a CORS-related error.

Hi, why don’t I get fitness points for both workouts if I do two workouts same day? Anyone experienced the same?

I use my Apple Watch 6 to record my "indoor ride". I ride an indoor resistance trainer with Garmin speed/cadence sensors. When I save my ride, and it syncs to STRAVA, the distance is missing. I tried doing the "correct distance" but I do not get that option when I go into the activity and click the three dots.

If I start recording from the app on my pixel phone, data seems to record correctly. If I start recording from strava app on the pixel watch 2 the data is wrong.  Is this a bug with the watch app?

Hello,  I'm looking for a way to connect the health data of my samsung watch 6 with my strava account on my phone, in a way I can see my bpm per km for the activities I record. For now, even if I did connect my watch 6 with my strava account, I can't see it on my phone, the goal is to go for a run only with my watch and not with my watch + my phone.  Also I read that I can have a strava code to connect it, but on my watch I don't have anything to enter the code on strava 😞 Thank you for your help !

I've linked my Strava account to my JustGiving account but every time I do a walk, I just see a map showing an area of the Pacific Ocean, and my walk route is not shown when I reposition the map to my location. Any idea why ?

Today I went riding with a friend but forgot my Garmin.  We did the same route; he had his Garmin and uploaded his route to Strava.  How can I (if I can) upload "his" route to my Strava?   Many thanks.

Hi,I have 3 apps (24523 with 3,473 registered users; 111519 with 46; 23518 with 1). I've submitted the large app to the developer program twice now, once in April 23', and once on Jan 29 24'.The approval emails don't say for which app they are, and the web UI doesn't say that the app is approved or not.I believe I've received approvals for 111519 and 23518, but not for 24523 (https://slava.playplay.io/) and it's almost march 4th.What do I do? Is it going to stop working Monday?-Daniel

I've already allowed all the permissions and it is working fine if I do activities like cyclism or running using Samsung Health. Usually it syncs well with full functionality with Strava afterwards.But if I start the same activity in Strava instead of Samsung Health, it doesn't show my watch as a cardiac sensor so it is unable to get my heart data, unless I do it by Samsung Health and wait for sync.This should not be a problem at all, but for weight lifting, the Strava app does not sync automatically with Samsung Health. Also, if I select weight lifting in the app, it doesn't show any cardiac sensor available and therefore is not possible to track my heart rate.

Gracias, saludos. TRANSLATION:  I suggest being able to configure the privacy of the activity according to its type or even according to minimum times or km of activity. Otherwise you saturate the app with your contacts or you have to block everything and activate the settings for each activity regardless of whether you are one of those who record everything. Hey, I recently started a group challenge - 90 miles in 30 days - "90 in 30" and a club "Sam B's 90 in 30 Club". I think a great feature would be to able to add/make challenges through clubs, not just events. So for example my club 'Sam B's 90 in 30 club' would include a challenge every 30 days/month of 90 miles in 30 days (Walking,`Running, Hiking) instead of these two things being separate. I understand this might be a premium feature, since I can only make 3 challenges with my current account. I'm also a graphic designer and would love to create and add my own badge to my 90 in 30 challenge for successfully completing it, make my trophy case all snazzy. Either this is a feature already and I don't know how to do it or could be a great creative opportunity especially if we could create challenges through clubs. Would love to hear everyones thoughts!Sam B  

Some time ago the mobile app spontaneously changed my language from English to Russian. I don't know Russian, I use the English version. How can I restore the correct language? Everything is fine on the website. I reinstalled strava but this did not help.

I recorded a yoga workout in strava on my Samsung 6 classic watch not connected to my mobile. When the watch connected to the mobile nothing synced and the workout has disappeared. The watch shows 0 unsynced in the settings. I thought I didn’t need my phone to record on Strava.

Hello everyone!In the last 3 weeks, my Strava data started showing steps taken during a walk (in-app, Android).They're wildly inaccurate - today, 5.33 mile walk = 584 steps! 😄How can I stop the steps showing or make it accurate? Thanks in advance, Sarah

When devising a new route on Strava's mapping tool from a PC, I cannot draw the return route over an existing section of the route. Manual mode does not seem to solve the problem either. Is there an easy fix, what am I doing wrong, it used to work just fine, and this is the only reason why I pay for Strava. I am already having to post the group rides in Ride with GPS, but I would rather return to Strava is I could get it to actually work like it used to work. Any guidance is appreciated!
