Customizing splits

Does anyone know if I can define the size of the splits? By default I can chose between 1km or 1mi, but it would be nice to really define other distances.Even better, it would be awesome to define time splits instead of distance one. That would allow, for instance, to train 1 min splits for fartlek series

Strava underestimate my avg speed and overestimate travel when using cycle computer

Hello, can someone explain me why strava is messing with my routes uploaded from cycle computer? 1. I'm recording my routes (commuting in a big city ) with my gps bike computer (iGPSsport BSC100S) with a speed sensor on a wheel. It has an app where I can see the results via bluetooth. For example todays route I drove: 12,2km, 30:40 moving time, avg speed 24kmh2. Computer's app is linked to strava and it automatically uploads route to strava when I save3. That exact same route on Strava has 20% worse results: 12,1km, 35:03 moving time, avg speed 20,8kmh.I tried manually export .gpx, .fit and .tcx to strava and each file extension has different results! .tcx are total mess, it tells me that I was driving 85kmh  (vmax) and shows 29min time.Speed sensor are calibrated with gps reading and correct wheel size

How to share some activities and not others?

Hello, I have a Polar Vantage V2 that synchronize and share all my activities on Strava. It works like a charm. However, I would like to share some activities (for example: running) and not others (for example: swimming). In Strava's settings, it seems that it is "all or nothing". I wish I was wrong. Could you give me an answer? Best, Alex

Apple Watch Lap markers

I've noticed annoying issues with Apple Watch run workouts and Strava. If I set alerts (i.e. pace range alerts etc...) for a custom apple watch run workout. Strava interprets each alert as a new lap. This feels like a bug, has anyone else had the same issue?

Hi. I connected The Conqueror to Strava but it tells me I need to connect at Strava’s end. I cannot see how to do that in the. Mobile app. Any help, much appreciated.

Llevo años usando STRAVA pro y estoy muy contento con el servicio que dais, no tengo problema en pagar la subscripción, pero sintiéndolo mucho, lo he dejado de hacer hasta que no lleguen mejoras con mi dispositivo COROS.  ¿Tenéis pensado ofrecer compatibilidad con BEACON para dispositivos COROS? ¿Va a ofrecer Live segments COROS en sus dispositivos? Gracias I've been using STRAVA pro for years and I'm very happy with the service you provide, I have no problem paying the subscription, but sorry, I've stopped doing it until improvements arrive with my COROS device. Do you plan to offer BEACON support for COROS devices? Are you going to offer COROS Live segments on your devices? Thank you

Mi Fitness time synchronization issue

I have a problem when synchronizing data from Mi Fitness to Strava, the activity time for swimming is always zero I cannot move faster than light 😆. Besides, the time displayed on Mi Fitness is perfect, aroungld 01:45:00

Swimming map

Why when I swim in the sea, does it not put a map on my activity. Sometimes it does, other times it doesn’t. I have gps and my phone is alway with me too

Apple Watch Ultra - 3 Runs in a row, 1 missing map and data - why? any fix?

So I did 3 runs today using Strava App on Apple Watch Ultra. Warmup, RACE and Cooldown. The RACE, typically, has absurdly not uploaded with any data other than bang accurate mileage and timing(to the chip). Yet despite the fact I used the app to monitor my HR and Pace... it's uploaded those or the MAP. There was very little time or distance between the 3, nor did I have my phone at all.   Why?

Dark Mode !!

It's 2022 and most apps have Dark Mode nowadays. I know, it's weird to use Strava when not working out... But looking at the segments the night before to plan out the next run is a thing. Please make us literally lose less sleep when doing this, or when recording an activity in the evening. This has consistently been the top request on reddit.com/r/strava Thanks

Authorization Error When Attempting to Create Kudos with Strava API v3

Hello Strava Community Hub,I am currently working with the Strava API v3, attempting to automate kudos creation for specific activity IDs using a valid access token. Despite the token having all necessary scoped permissions, I continually receive a `401 Unauthorized` error with the message `"Authorization Error"`. How to enter distances in metres on the Android app?

I'm using an indoor rower and want to enter the number of metres I've done in 10 minutes. I add a manual activity, choose "rowing", but the distance only gives me the option for miles or km. If I use km it only goes to one decimal place, which is no good if I've done 2053m. It's fine on the desktop version (I can do miles, km, metres or yards), but is it possible to do it on the app?

Can’t send multiple likes to followers activities.

Up until recently I could fire off kudos to all the people I follow by clicking a button near the top right (online). When I click it now, it says I have sent kudos to all but this is not the case. It might be an add on app that I have linked to Strava that allowed me to do this but I can’t seem to find out which. This is not to be confused with sending kudos to those who took part in the same activity as me as that works fine.Any suggestions please?

Ride a segment but not in the list.

This morning we did a tour in Belgian Ardennes with our Cycling club.We did a 8 K long climb from La Roche to Samrėe.After syncing, I remarked that on some segments on this climb, I have no result, on others I have results. It's like I didn't passed this segment. This is bizarre 🤔 🤔.What could be a solution for this problem?Thanks for your imput.Patrick - Belgium

Safety concern: time and location shared in feed

Hi thereStrava is awesome - nothing to add to that.However, I have certain security and privacy concerns with regards to the combination of location information (track) and the timing of said recorded track. The location information is an integral part of Strava and I feel that security and privacy concerns are appropriately addressed. I struggle with the time stamp of the activity though. Everybody who has access to my activity can see WHEN I move WHERE. Many people tend to do the favorite routes they do at similar times of the day (before work, lunch time, after work, etc.). It would be awesome to not just have a privacy filter around the start and end location of a run, but also around the start time. For example: no exact time stamp but only the date.In short: remove the threat that runner X is passing by the dark corner of the park every evening at 8:42 pm.Thank you. Happy to hear other voices on the topic.

Activity recording

There are many different activities that can be recorded on Strava but I've taken up Archery and cannot see that on the list provided.Is there any way this can be added or maybe and 'other' activity button so that you can enter what you have done manually. Thanks.

Is there a way to set the default "type of ride" on Strava?

When I ride, it is almost always as a commuter.How can I set Strava so the default "Type of Ride" is "Commute" so I don't need to select it each time I ride?I searched for 'default "Type of Ride"' and couldn't find anything.

Why does an Indoor Cycling activity shows in an outdoor segment?

In the ride segment https://www.strava.com/segments/35185845?filter=overall the first place is an indoor ride https://www.strava.com/activities/4587913987How can such a thing be possible? From the look of the ride and its constant speed it really was indoor. Is that some glitch where a virtual ride was tagged wrongly?
