Hi all retired a bike some day ago and added a new one (gravel) and defaulted on cycling and gravel biking. New activities altough defaults on the old (and retired) bike.   Any help? regards Luca

Hi! I've been trying to create a route through a paved greenway trail and whenever I try to draw my route, Strava doesn't recognize it as a valid way - even though the global heat map is dark blue and when I ran on it the other day Strava recognized it as a trail. I'm trying to create a long run because it connects to a trail system and it won't let me, I can't even figure out how much mileage it would add! Does anyone know why this is happening or how to fix it?

This always bugs me. I am offered a free trial but to be allowed to try the free offering, I need to put in bank details. I know why this is done, so that after the trial period runs out then a charge is made. I think it would be much better and friendlier of Strava to just let individuals try out the free trial without the need for bank / card details. 

Hi,I want to extract a list of all the activities that the club members have done in the last month. Is there any way to do this? When I check "recent activities" I only see the activities of the last 5 days.If I look in my own feed at everyone I follow, I see since the 18th of October, but we started on the 10th. There are 70 members and going through all 70 members and doing it manually will take a long time..

Hi everybody,I think there's a mistake with "snowboard" activities. If you record an activity of this type, the only segments in the report page are climbs. If you want to see slopes' times (so, time for descents) you have to change your activity in "alpine skiing" (or similar name, in italian is "Sci alpino").   

Strava, segments taken within 1-minute of each other are labelled incorrectly with the same label number instead of being unique. I did this segment below 10 times, and instead of being numbered 1 to 10 they are numbered 1,1,3,4,5,6,6,8,9,10 which makes little sense: 

My segment creation screen only displays for a fraction of a second making it impossible to click “next”. Why ? im a paying subscriber and this happens on both my laptop and desktop . thanks in advance 

Was not having any issues with syncing from my watch until 6 days ago...Now nothing syncs and when I try to resync I get errors 99, 42, or 7....I have restarted my phone and watch as well as uninstalled and reinstalled the app on both.....Looks like there have been issues in the past like this....Help.....I already lost a week of stuff and had to manually add them but as a premium member I would not think that this should be the norm..... 

When I use the python API to get the activities from the logged in user, I want to display the heart rate as well, which i don't get in the summary and thats already annoying.So I need to make a separate call to the activity/{id}. But now I find out that i don't get the ID in the summary either. I've tried to upload_id but thats not working either. Does anyone have a solution for this?

Just wondering if this is a known bug ...   (hi, I'm a subscriber, btw, have been for many years. hello)So, there are (running) segments I complete on a very regular basis. For some of these segments, I get segment efforts recorded on my activity, but when I view the leaderboards for the segment, I'm not there at all - in fact the leaderboard says at the bottom (on mobile) "Tackle this segment to compete for the crown" as if I've never completed it at all.Many segments I complete, even on the same activity are just fine, my effort is recorded, and I'm on the leaderboard (somewhere near the bottom usually).Here's an example ... an activity from today, where I got a PR on a segment, but when I look at the leaderboard, I'm not there. There isn't even a "today" leaderboard.  

I would like to show to my users that they are using the Strava API with limit (100 request per 15 minutes, etc.)The Strava API has HTTP response header for that : X-Ratelimit-Usage and X-Ratelimit-Limit I would like to use them in the HTTP javascript fetch API. Hello, I have a Huawei watch that synchronizes with strava, but I usually cannot check heart rate in strava. I thought it was because I didn't have a strava subscribtion so, simply, strava wasn't showing me the data. However, I have just started a 1 month free trial, but I still can't see any heart rate info. Does anyone knows if heart rate from huawei can be uploaded to strava? Thanks a lot, regards

Hi, I am currently training for a marathon and using Strava to track my runs on my Apple Watch. The trouble I am having is that my plan has specific paces it is telling me to run at during my runs, and Strava on my watch during my runs only tells me the Split and my Average Page. So if I have run for 5 minutes for example, I cannot see the current pace I am running at. Can someone please help me with this.

Hi there!I'm retrieving my latest run with the following endpoint: /athlete/activities and then the method "getLoggedInAthleteActivities". This works well, but I don't get the same response as the sample response given there. I don't get anything back from my heart rate information. Is this a permissions thing or am I missing something?

I track two types of exercise in Strava, Cycling and Swimming.On the bike, I simultaneously use a power meter and a Polar H10 heart rate monitor.  My understanding is that Strava uses these two inputs to "calibrate" a Training Impulse estimate based on Relative Effort so that can be used for the times when I ride without a power meter or do something other than cycling.My Fitness and Freshness page is set up to use both, "Power and Relative Effort."When I bike, my power-based Training Load (which gets used directly for Training Impulse) is always about 0.7x Relative Effort.When I swim, I wear a heart rate monitor and Strava calculates a Relative Effort.  I expected Training Impulse to be about 0.7x Relative effort for the swims, because that's what it is when I bike with power meter and heart rate monitor.  TSS is always smaller than RE on the bike.  But I see the opposite result.  From swimming, the "Training

Hello,I've encountered an issue when uploading TCX files through code, where the splits view and calorie data aren't displayed on the website, despite these details showing up correctly when I upload the same file manually through the website.Here's what I've done:Initial upload via code: When I upload a TCX file programmatically (using code), the activity appears on Strava, but without splits or calorie information.Manual upload for comparison: To ensure the issue wasn't with the file itself, I uploaded the same TCX file manually through the Strava website. HI,I'm currently looking into using the strava api to export my activities to Gpx/Tcx (or any other format that suits my needs) because Garmin doesn't offer such a service / api. When looking into the data and comparing an activity from Garmin, exported in TCX format, with the data I can collect using the streams/laps api I noticed a few things?1. The start/endindex of the first lap sometimes seem to be 0? Why can this happend and how should I deal with this? Since the lenght of the lap corresponds with the length found in Strava/Garmin ui.2. The endIndex of the last lap doesn't correspond with the last index in the stream data? F.i. 1980 for the size in the stream. 1956 in the lap data?Can someone explain to me why this could happen? And how to work with it?

Has anyone had experience of content not showing on a PC? We can see all the drop down options such as activities and profile but then when the option is clicked there is a blank page. It’s only the one PC but it worked until a couple of weeks ago. We haven’t changed anything on the PC.It works with both our profiles on other devices such as iPad and laptop. Any thoughts please?

Hi over the past couple of months on my runs and walks my strava GPS keeps cutting corners, this results in my distance and times being off. I have tried reinstalling and at the other stuff is says on the site to do but none of it works. Does anyone have a solution for this please 🙏. 

 For some reason I haven’t been able to comment for the past 24 hours on activities. A message reads, “rate limit exceeded”. It is working again now. Thank you, Strava. 

Hello,I'm trying to load data from a segment `/api/v3/segments/[id]` that gives me a "Rate Limit Exceeded" error.However, the quota does not seems to be reached: I log the usage and I get something like: Instant usage: 75/600 - Daily usage: 4392/6000.I dig into the logs and it seems that it stopped working at half the quota, 3000/6000.Is there any other limitation I'm not aware of?
