Hi all, my garmin watch has died, which is a shame because the garmin > strava integration was brilliant.I now have a motorola smart watch which connects to my (android) phone via WearOS, and this feeds Google Fit.  But I am missing being able to log my stuff in Strava, and from what I can see my only option would be to record on strava using my phone (which is not convenient and less accurate) which could then send to Google Fit.Are there any intermediate apps that might help. For example google fit offers to sync with something called Health Connect - would this help? I don't want to go willy-nilly connecting apps hence asking you experts here first.Thanks for any suggestions.

After riding for 3 days for a solo ride of 800km I finally combined the 3 rides into one using the Fit Files Combine tool before uploading to Strava. To my disappointment the ride never got added to my club leaderboard. I let that slide but now it is still not counting as my longest ride yet. My longest ride is still at 525 km which is definitely 3 years ago. Here is the ride that won't count as a longest ride https://www.strava.com/activities/10086632519I need help to make these work.

I am currently doing a group distance charity and tracking through strava - i've allowed workouts to be apart of the challenge, however they don't take any distance off, how can we change this or calculate to distance

I would like to be able to save Routes to a Club, so that we have a 'library' of routes that Club members use - I have my own routes, and other club members have theirs too, but it would be very good to be able to select some of them and share to a club, eg for a club ride, or just as a reference for good local rides. Is this facility available? 

I am trying to build something around `athlete_count` and `star_count` based on the top segments returned here: https://developers.strava.com/docs/reference/#api-models-ExplorerSegmentWith the API limits, even for one of these explore responses I'd need to make 10 additional calls to get the `counts` and would run into the 200 calls limit immediately.Is there any other way to get these counts? Could they be added to the model?

I'm trying to use the API to discover local cycle routes to try out. I'm trying with a GET request on "explore segments":https://developers.strava.com/docs/reference/#api-Segments-exploreSegmentsBut it always returns an empty segments array []Here's a sample query (enclosing roughly the entire UK in the bounds):https://www.strava.com/api/v3/segments/explore?bounds=[50,-6,60,2]&activity_type=riding&min_cat=4&max_cat=1 Am I wrong to expect data back? I've only just signed up to Strava so I have no data of my own yet - does "explore segments" not return "public" data? Thanks,A

Hello, I have developed a web app. It requires people to connect with Strava. The current flow is the following: when the users click on "Connect with Strava", I redirect them to https://www.strava.com/oauth/authorize with all the query parameters. It works fine on mobile and desktop browsers. I'm now looking to implement another flow when users are using my web app on their mobile phone. I want to open the Strava app instead of the Strava web version when the user has the Strava app installed. For this, I'm following the guidelines here: https://developers.strava.com/docs/authentication/ On iOS, I redirect the users to strava://oauth/mobile/authorize (with the exact same query parameters than my current working flow with the Strava web version). It properly opens the Strava app on the iOS device, but right after (approx. 1 second), it redirects the user back to the redirect_uri (which is my web app) without letting him give his consent.  Could this be caused becaus

I am trying to utilize the Export GPX endpoint for a feature in a mobile application. However I am running into a 404 error when I actually go to use the endpoint. I know that this endpoint requires a read_all scope for private parameters which I already included in my webform urlscope=activity:read_all,profile:read_all,read_all This is how I have my exportGPX endpoint set up as well..https://www.strava.com/api/v3/routes/{route_id}/export_gpx Am I missing anything?

The menu accessible through edit button on "My Activities" page is missing the new activity types like Tennis for example.

I marked my bike for "Virtual Ride" and I thought that ALL indoor cycling will be matched with a bike I choosed but it's not. I have to correct used bike every time manually after. Not everyone using Zwift to record training indoors. I just ride with wahoo bolt connected to my smarttrainer and that's all. You should add "Indoor Cycling" in "Default Sports".

Hello,could you please tell me, what I'm doing wrong? On mobile App in Routes section I see 4 routes. But inside there are only 2. On website there are only 2 too 🙂 But when I look on profile from Sigma Ride - there are 4 routes (two duplicates).How to clear it? Where is a problem?

Question for the group: when I add a manual activity, I enter the time I did it but on my feed it shows as an hour earlier. Does anyone know why this is and how to fix it?

I recently used Strava (iPhone app) on a backpacking trip. The trip was a combination of trails and backcountry routes, all of it in steep terrain, over several days. On a couple of the backcountry routes, the elevation gain shown for the day was wayyyy off. The most extreme example is a day on which I know we started at about 3500 feet, climbed up over a saddle at about 5500 feet, then descended back to about 3500 feet. There's a little give and take and I think the elevation gain for the day was around 2200 feet or so. Strava shows 7500 feet of gain that day. That's wildly inaccurate. If I look at the activity in the app, there's an orange bar called "view analysis" and if I go there I find a graph of elevation that shows the ~2200 feet of gain very straightforwardly. I cannot reconcile this with the 7500 foot figure. The website version does not have the analysis feature, for whatever reason.Anyone have any insight into how this works and what might be going on?

I am experiencing a very slow strava app on my android. Everything takes very long to upload. Both wifi and 4g. I tries to re install the app without success. I am not using a vpn... 

It's been this way for at least 5 days now ... wtf is going on?Maybe it's since the new 'enhanced' waypoints launched.  How or why this would happen or would be thought a good idea is beyond me.  But for me, routing is now almost completely useless.  This compounds the already broken segments on routes.

Can I record several sections of a run as one event? I am planning to run to the train station, pause Strava, jump on a train, get off the train, start Strava again, run to another station, etc. Can I do this as a single event?

Hi.  I’ve just started using an Apple Watch with the Strava App.  I run better whilst listening to music but for some reason the Strava App on the watch does not give its audio cues through the headphones and I can’t figure out how to set it up. if I’m listening to music it would be great to hear the audio cues through the headphones.   Any help appreciated thank you. 

It seems that the Route detail page (when you click on a Route under your Strava > My Routes) has changed recently, and doesn't display which segments are starred. You need to click a Segment to star or unstar. This worked just fine in the "old" (much better) version. Which is a BIG anoyance to me.With the old page, I could plan a Route, and then easily star Segments right on the page. Those starred Segments were then pulled over to my Garmin Edge. The new page makes this way more difficult. I would need to click on each Segment separatelly, and there are dozens of them.Futhermore, on the "old" (miles better) page, when you put your mouse over a Segment, it displayed where it is on the map. This feature is gone.Please, bring back the previous very good Route detail page.

I think AVG POWER on Strava by my e-bike rides is not correct (today 276 W; October 23 with heart belt 259 W) - it is too high and incorrect. When I am riding on non e-bikes, my AVG POWER is 130-170 W, I am not able to make 276 W or 259 W... It seems the avg power by e-bikes does not have correction by el. engine and batery?

I keep starting a trace, and then missing the first few KM of my runs without knowing about it till Strava DOESN'T give the first audio update at 500m.When I start the trace I get a "GPS Acquired" confirmation, as if everything is okay, but in reality the app never gets a GPS location from my iPhone13 that it is happy with.Strava NEEDS to make this clear to the user with a banner at the top saying "GPS data being dropped", or some such status.Further, if you have audio notifications turned on and it doesn't establish this is the state before you put the phone on standby and put it in your pocket, it needs to make an audio warning telling you every 10s.The user feedback is shocking, and it is NOT the fault of the poor GPS on the phone.If it did you could reboot the phone, etc, before you got anywhere too far in your run.

Is there still no way to export existing segments into GPX files? The only thing I could think of was creating my own route, but you can't seem to do that from existing segments. If I manually choose a start and end point, it doesn't accurately follow the trail. Thanks for any input!
