Changing to Webhook Events API - who can help?

For years our website has run cron jobs sending request to the Strava API. We are having three cron jobs. So every minute we are sending request to Strava but we are experiencing "Rate Limit Exceed " issues now. Strava suggests making a change to web hook events API, which is fine by me, but where do I find capable resources to that code change?

how to pull activity information from all athletes via API

I need to be able to access the routes, to later search for the GPX of each Athlete associated with my club, and thus be able to recover all the statistics to consolidatename, date, hour, local, km, gpxThe api I'm using is: GET https://www.strava.com/api/v3/athletes/:athleteId/routes?page=1&per_page=200 but I get Forbidden Is there any way to search for the information of the athletes associated with my club?

Invalid time while importing training from GPX

Hi Guys I am importing my hiking trails from 3rd party app. I review GPX files manually, and all tracking points look fine, but imported to Strava shows training duration e.g. 1:16h while in origin it was 8:32h. Have any idea? I have already tried such converter https://gotoes.org/strava/Combine_GPX_TCX_FIT_Files.php but the final result is the same.

Hello and a Question

Hello everyone, my name is Luciano, brazilian, 49 years old and I'm a road cyclist, eventually a mountain biker. I've been a Strava user since 2014, I started uploading from a Garmin device in 2015. I have a question, see many users who manage to record the same activity at the same time, recording from a device and a cell phone. I notice that in this action the distances and elevations accumulate, which is unfair in the monthly challenges. The question is, should we keep flagging these double activities, couldn't Strava detect this automatically? Thank you and good trainings to all.

Merging of activities?

I'm an avid cyclist and backpacker and I recently completed a 3-day backpacking trip. As usual, I recorded my activities over the three days and everything was great, but I wish there was a feature where I could merge my three separate activities (days) into one activity to show my total stats for the entire trip in addition to each individual day. I camped along the route, so each previous day's endpoint was the next day's start point and I feel like this would be a fairly straightforward feature to add. It could also be applied for bikepacking. Has anyone else wondered about this?

No power on indoor ride

I have assioma duo and an element bolt. It displays power just fine. After an indoor ride I do not see power or even estimated power on the Overview tab. Is there something I'm missing here to get the power to import properly?

Pin a route

I have routes downloaded for offline use. I want to use these routes on a run/hike. Unfortunately the route gets un-highlighted and in the middle of nowhere, I am stuck.I suspect if I clicked "do this route" in Strava it would work but on a very long hike I cannot afford for my phone battery to take that hit. Any way to pin the route?

Inline skating calories burn with Apple Watch

Hi, I would like to ask if inline skating workout will include calaries burn? Im using Strava w Apple Watch 7 when it doesnt include this data. On Apple side api it is possible to store this data. Strava already has access to all the sensors and it measures heart rate for example. Could you please take a look on this?

Activity feed shortened

Since yesterdaty, my feed is not showing me all activities.Only from the past day. I have already logoff en logon into Strava.Restart device, nothing helps.Is on smartphone (android) en pc.

Elapsed Mile Tracker

Recently I was riding and every time I completed a mile, the elapsed time for the mile would pop up at the top of the screen.  However now I don’t see that anymore.  I love that feature and want to know how to enable it again.

Live Segments, Cadence Data and No Duplication

Hi, I think I know the answer to this is (not available/in the roadmap etc etc).I have a speed/cadence sensor and HRM (all Ant+ and BT). Currently I record rides on my Garmin watch and it syncs to strava on completion.I used to use Live segments back when strava supported cadence sensors.Now I think the only way to have live segments and my sensor data is to record the activity on my watch as normal and ALSO start an activity on strava on my bar mounted phone. This will give me everything I need but will duplicate the activity?Is there a solution? TIA

no audio

Hi,  I want an audio cue after every kilometer I walk. I already set via Record page - Audio Cues - Run Announcements it to kilometer and when I change it to half kilometer I hear a voice as example, but after record a walk, there's no audio cue. What am I doing wrong?

Garmin to Strava Data Issue/Query

I did a run this morning and used my Forerunner 245 to track the run. The run involved some walking and some stopping but my run uploaded to Strava and took the "Moving Time" time/pace and splits. I had to change the activity type to "Race" in Strava to show the Elapsed Time, correct pace and correct splits that were shown in Garmin Connect - if that makes sense 🙂 A couple of others who I ran with who also use Garmin devices had their runs uploaded to Strava and it shows the data as per Garmin and they hadn't changed their activity to "Race" in Strava. Is there a setting in Garmin and/or Strava that transfers and shows the total data without me having to change the activity to "Race" in Strava?

Creating new route on mobile app

Hi I used to create new route on Strava mobile app. But it seems it’s no longer possible. When I go to my profiles / routes, existing routes are displayed, but I can’t find how to create a new one.  I’m using the last app version 309.0.0, and my subscription is active. Any idea on what’s happening? Has the creating route function been removed from the iOS mobile app ? Thanks anybody for helping.

API Get Call not working

Hi folks,I need help with something that should be straightforward. I want to execute the Get API Call List Club Activities (getClubActivitiesById) [https://developers.strava.com/docs/reference/#api-Clubs-getClubActivitiesById]. I meet the pre-requisite of being a member of the club I want to extract data from.Via Postman I execute the following actions:1.  Get Action: https://www.strava.com/api/v3/clubs/**bleep**/activities?page=&per_page=2. In the Headers Section I define the Key field as "Authorization" and specify its value with "Bearer 'YourAccessToken'"3. The response I get is the following:{ "message": "Bad Request", "errors": [ { "resource": "Application", "field": "page", "code": "invalid" } ] }What is weird is that the API call does get picked up as an API call on the API Usage report in the My Application API section. I hence conclude that the API call is executed correctly but I am lacking authorization, but I am sure I use the right token at the right time.He

Help getting activities after token refresh

Hello Everyone,To preface this, i am very new to working with APIs so have been trying to follow multiple tutorials...Im sure this topic has been discussed before, but i cannot find my situation and am hoping someone can help me...So...I have followed the instructions on authorization Iincluding using the correct read_all in the scope that trips a lot of people up.I am able to exchange the code for an access token, and the retrieve all of my activities - no problems - Great stuff!I save the token to a json file, opening and checking the expiry each time i make a new call.The problem arises 6 hours later - i need to use the refresh token to get a new access token - which i (seemingly) do without issue, i make the request and recieve back the new access token (and update my saved json file)- but i can no longer retrieve all of my activites.Am i doing something wrong? do i need to include something when requesting my new access token? Ive been searching round google for about a week

Sort and filter activities by day of the week

I would like the option to sort my activities by day of the week. This would be useful because I could compare my routine and habits over longer periods of time easily. For example, I recently wanted to know how many weeks in a row I had run 6 miles on Monday. It could also be used to find patterns, for example if I often skip or modify a workout on one day. This feature would be easy enough to implement because the date of the activity is already saved

Moving average pace. Running.

Hi. does anyone know how can I show moving average pace on my profile for my runs? At the moment, it only shows average pace.
