Hello,I understand you use third party services to handle your maps and routing, I just wanted to highlight Strava frequently suggests routes that are dangerous. Strava has the capability to flag segments as dangerous, but not if Strava built routes are. Here is the route strava suggests I take from Great Cross Hall Street to Hunter Street (Liverpool UK)This is an illegal turn turning through a busy intersection on a major A road through the city. There is ample bicycle tracks around this area, however Strava routes across 4 lanes of traffic with each lane heading in a different direction.I understand the map makes it look semi-possible to cross, but due to the lights and the (unsigned) right turn only in the middle, it is not possible. Here is how google routes it:and bing (as a car)Just trying to make our city a little safer. I would appreciate if you could flag this with your map/route providers and consider in-app ways of flagging this information. Thanks &

Does strava only focus on running and cycling. I do a mix of golf, walking, running and hiking and segments seem to pop up more for running. Also statistics only have my running. I've done around 300km in hiking but all it shows is my 80km runs.

What about the ability to split gear/bikes into sub categories ie. Chain, so can keep a track of waxing lubing schedules and to see if a certain lube/method works better. Or tyres, add your tyres to keep an eye on mileage etc.

Hi   I have been using the GPS to track runs / walks / sailing / skiing / rides with no problem until this weekend.  Strava is getting stuck on "Getting GPS Fix" in a circle of doom.  Ive been on the forums and checked the Location services and the battery optimiser and the running in the background option.  No joy so far.  I've tested the GPS on the watch using Maps and it seems ok. Any ideas? Thanks

How to reproduce:Edit running goal to be some number of hours per week (e.g 50)Save itEdit running goal to be that same number of miles per week (50)Result: it says set to hours. You have to change the numeric value in order for it to change to a different goal type (miles -> hours, hours -> miles)

I've been using another app to record my routes for over 10 years and have now switched to Strava. I can upload 25 tracks at once and after about 4 repetitions I probably reached a limit and am locked out for a day. I also have a premium subscription. I have about 8,000 tracks and apparently I can upload 100 per day. Then I would have to upload tracks for 80 days? Is there another solution?

Hello Strava, I recently found an issue where images currently selected for posting cannot be viewed in full.I feel this would be a great addition so users can check photos are correct. You could potentially allow the images added to a manual activity to allow for a tap to display, then exit as chosen (X). Allowing users to find safety in posting photos from a photographical standpoint. Thanks.

When clicking the "Don't see the segment you're looking for?" link at the bottom of an activity, the list of potential segment matches is just a simple list, with no links to follow to the individual segment page. Would be very helpful to add this feature for route planning in areas with confusing overlapping trail segments, and for segments that are not heavily traveled and don't show up on the segment explore map.

For days now I can't see my notifications because the page is constantly loading, this is all I ever see! I have uninstalled the app, switched my phone on / off, logged in/ out and nothing seems to help. The app is constantly freezing as well.it's so frustrating I expect better when paying for a subscription service!  

Seem to get a “Mapbox GL not supported by browser” error now that I have moved across to IOS17. Is this an error on my part or a bug from the Apple update not allowing Strava to work?

I just noticed in my profile that today I made the 6,000 km in the year. BOOM!! When I switched to the dashboard view, I noticed that my annual goal only shows 5,948 km. What is true now? (Sorry for the German screenshots)

Good Day,I can not figure out how to get a list of Segments that an athlete has ridden. I can get the list of Activities in a given time period using the below. But, how do I then see if those Activities contain a certain segment? I can't figure out where/how to link an activity to a segment or link a segment to an activity or just search for a segment across an athlete's activities within a start/end date. https://www.strava.com/api/v3/athlete/activities?access_token=xxxxxxx&per_page=1&page=1&before=1704067200&after=1672531199The goal is that I want to see if an athlete has ever ridden a segment within a specified start/end date.  So,  " Did Bobby ride Segment A between StartDate and EndDate". Any guidance is greatly appreciated,Goalasso 

I am unable to update the scope to activity:read of my Application as there seems to be a CORS error when the when a new auth token and refresh token are requested!  Any help would be appreciated!

Hi all, my garmin watch has died, which is a shame because the garmin > strava integration was brilliant.I now have a motorola smart watch which connects to my (android) phone via WearOS, and this feeds Google Fit.  But I am missing being able to log my stuff in Strava, and from what I can see my only option would be to record on strava using my phone (which is not convenient and less accurate) which could then send to Google Fit.Are there any intermediate apps that might help. For example google fit offers to sync with something called Health Connect - would this help? I don't want to go willy-nilly connecting apps hence asking you experts here first.Thanks for any suggestions.

I am currently doing a group distance charity and tracking through strava - i've allowed workouts to be apart of the challenge, however they don't take any distance off, how can we change this or calculate to distance

I would like to be able to save Routes to a Club, so that we have a 'library' of routes that Club members use - I have my own routes, and other club members have theirs too, but it would be very good to be able to select some of them and share to a club, eg for a club ride, or just as a reference for good local rides. Is this facility available? 

I am trying to build something around `athlete_count` and `star_count` based on the top segments returned here: https://developers.strava.com/docs/reference/#api-models-ExplorerSegmentWith the API limits, even for one of these explore responses I'd need to make 10 additional calls to get the `counts` and would run into the 200 calls limit immediately.Is there any other way to get these counts? Could they be added to the model?

I'm trying to use the API to discover local cycle routes to try out. Hello, I have developed a web app. It requires people to connect with Strava. The current flow is the following: when the users click on "Connect with Strava", I redirect them to https://www.strava.com/oauth/authorize with all the query parameters. It works fine on mobile and desktop browsers. I'm now looking to implement another flow when users are using my web app on their mobile phone. I want to open the Strava app instead of the Strava web version when the user has the Strava app installed. For this, I'm following the guidelines here: https://developers.strava.com/docs/authentication/ On iOS, I redirect the users to strava://oauth/mobile/authorize (with the exact same query parameters than my current working flow with the Strava web version). It properly opens the Strava app on the iOS device, but right after (approx. 1 second), it redirects the user back to the redirect_uri (which is my web app) without letting him give his consent.  Could this be caused becaus

I am trying to utilize the Export GPX endpoint for a feature in a mobile application. However I am running into a 404 error when I actually go to use the endpoint. I know that this endpoint requires a read_all scope for private parameters which I already included in my webform urlscope=activity:read_all,profile:read_all,read_all This is how I have my exportGPX endpoint set up as well..https://www.strava.com/api/v3/routes/{route_id}/export_gpx Am I missing anything?

The menu accessible through edit button on "My Activities" page is missing the new activity types like Tennis for example.

I marked my bike for "Virtual Ride" and I thought that ALL indoor cycling will be matched with a bike I choosed but it's not. I have to correct used bike every time manually after. Not everyone using Zwift to record training indoors. I just ride with wahoo bolt connected to my smarttrainer and that's all. You should add "Indoor Cycling" in "Default Sports".
