As of a few days ago, my audio notifications have stopped working. Strava doesn't announce when I start or stop a work out or my miles. I am using Android on a Samsung phone. I have tried all of the following:- Reboots- Uninstalling/re-installing Strava (with reboots)- All 4 volumes are up- Matching my Text-to-Speech language with my system language (English on both)- Turning off and on the audio cues for miles and start/stop- With and without headphones. I hear other notifications, such as texts in both cases Any other ideas?Thanks,Tim

Hi there,When sending a .gpx file through https://www.strava.com/api/v3/uploads route, my moving time is identical as the elapsed time. In the .gpx file, there are clearly timestamps that have power, cadence and other data as 0, where I literally stopped cycling. In the graphs, I see that power data is correct for that period, but still moving time is equal to elapsed time. Is there something I'm missing in the Upload API? Will happily provide gpx files if needed.Best regards,Marijo

Hello Strava Community! I rode 6600 km this year, with a part of this kilometers done through commuting. I am curious to know which part has been achieved through commuting, and which part achieved through "standard" ride. Is there a way to compute / display this information easily in Strava (mobile or laptop version)? I have been looking for it, and the training recap is weekly, not doing a total of km for a given year.Thanks for your help, and let me know if my request is not clear! Gilles D.

Good morning all, I have a Galaxy 5 Pro watch and I want to know if there is anyway I can get it to vibrate on every KM I cover. My old Galaxy sports watch had this feature.  

I'm super curious how developers are bootstrapping their data.When starting a new app, I want to bootstrap my database with my personal history. So rather than simply leveraging webhooks, I want to first read in past events. This is impossible with the current rate limits. What do most people do to solve this problem?Thanks!

When I start Strava on my Google Pixel Watch 2, it searches for GPS, but is not able to get a fixed GPS. I have kept on several times and for several minutes without any success. GPS position is allowed and the GPS is set to accurate position.Would be extreme grateful for any help or hints to resolve this issue.NB! Fitbit and Maps get the position within seconds.

I ride 2 Mountain Bikes but can only set one of them to default sport "Mountain Bike". The moment I try and set the other bike also to default "Mountain Bike" the first bike default is "Blanked out". Why is that?Also, for those of us who travel regularly and use a hotel stationary bike it would be cool to have a bike type option "stationary bike".And while I am at it, I also ride a "hybrid flatbar" which is neither road nor mountain, can there not be a "Hybrid" type option. 

My “routes” continue to show that I am “offline” and won’t load anything, and won’t let me create a new route. Tried deleting the app and turning off/on phone. Suggestions?

Very often when using Strava and linking outside in anyway it has way too much friction. 1. sample 1 -BWR announces a new segment and posts the link. Upon click of link asks me to download app. It’s already downloaded. I click get app. It redirects me to the app, but to my feed,  it the view of the original links. Fix this. 2.i post a Strava ride on instagram. People click it. They get the same login/ redirect issue. if you platform wants to grow and stay relevant make it easy to post and share. Outsiders need to see some of the inside before experiencing high friction points. Look at instagram. Let’s you land on content then after time/ actions asks you to login. asking for login and being high friction before social value is exchanged deters both posters  from sharing and lookers from seeing. 

I developed a web aplications where i can check the distance and deliver the medals to the riders who complete the distance but yesterday the client_id is not allowed to get the data from the post consult in the api, can you help me to know if is posible use the api to this objetive? thanks very much

Howdy folks! I have an issue I simply cannot figure out. I am trying to stream data from an activity. I am using postman to test my queries. As we can see, the activity is real and works. The key has read all and read permissions for activities via scope=read,read_all,activity:read_all,activity:read,profile:read_allHowever, the stream query is not working. Any insights would be super appreciated.

I'm a free user and agreed to the data exchange between Garmin and Strava. However, I noticed that each time my cycling activity updates on Strava, it doesn't sync automatically to Garmin Connect. Is it because this feature isn't supported for free users?

Hello colleagues I have created a private club defined as "cycling".Several members have been added to the group. Unfortunately, I've recently noticed that some member activities are not showing up in weekly. I checked and the cycling activities that are missing are set as public, so it's not a question of permissions.Have you encountered such a situation?    Thanks.

So with my old Vivoactive 3 I would record my squash games as a normal run. Obviously the run map was irrelevant but it would give me the distance I ran/moved which I really liked. (Normally ended up being 3-5k depending on how hard the game was)However on my new Venu 2 if I record my squash as a run in the same way the map is always weird (one straight line) and only records me as having moved very little. Normally under 1k. I have switched to recording my matches as "cardio"However I really like tracking how far I've run in my matches. Any ideas on how to record the activity so it measures the distance covered? I assume its to do with the GPS not liking the fact you move in a very confined space in squash but seems weird the older watch recorded it fine whilst the newer one can't. Any thoughts or solutions much appreciated  

My Strava app on my Apple Watch disappeared. It works on my iPhone. The watch app on the iPhone doesn’t show the Strava app available to install on the watch. What’s up?

Hi all, I'm doing a fair amount of workouts that pre-load into my Garmin Forerunner with titles like "Tempo run 3x10" or "Endurance cycle" or whatever. When the activity syncs with Strava all I get is "Morning run". Is there a way to get the title of these activities (really just runs, rides, and swims) loaded over to Strava?

I was interested to see the new feature Custom Waypoints on Strava Routes! I log my strength training manually in the Strava App. Normally it's the same content except a higher weight sometimes. Is it possible to duplicate an existing manual entry and just edit the text description instead of create a new exercise every time? 

Hi All, Hoping you can help me.  I am starting training for a marathon and want to do a lot of zone 2 training, in an effort to improve the speed I can run at whilst remaining within zone 2. At the moment I am using the Strava app on my Apple Watch and using the inbuilt apple watch heart rate monitor.  However, I have read a lot of articles online that says the HR monitor on the apple watch is not very accurate.  As such, I am looking at purchasing a seperate, dedicated heart rate monitor. My question is:  If I do buy an external monitor, can I sync that to the Strava app on my apple watch, so that I can actively monitor my HR during a run?  Or will the Strava app on the Apple Watch always use the built in HR monitor? Any help with the above and advice on which external HR monitor to use, would be much appreciated!  Thank you in advance.

I joined a group which got me more Kudos – which certainly helps with motivation – so I Followed people in the group. But now Strava is not allowing me to follow more athletes it seems. I’m pretty sure I’m under 2000 I’m following… most likely just a couple hundred. Did I reach some sort of a limit? Does the system think I’m a bot? Do I have to unfollow someone just to follow someone else? Thank you EdieBrooklyn

Hi,Please kindly advice if it is possible to add heart rate to existing activity? From unknown reason my heart rate was not synchronized in my last activity (I assume some problems with my equipment, probably solved now). And now I have two separate activities. One where are all data (GPS, pace, cadence, etc) and second one only with heart rate.Question, how can I add heart rate to existing activity with other data? I have heart rate in seperate .fit file.Thanks,Krzysztof

Good evening, I made a mistake in making the annual Strava subscription, by mistake it was uploaded to an account that I didn't even know I had and that I don't use anyway. I asked for help in the Strava chat but no one answered me. Can I do something? ?can I move the subscription??? in the meantime I have suspended it on that account.....or should I resign myself to having lost the money???
