Quick question: when manually adding an activity, do I enter my moving time or the elapsed time?It’s a swim activity (not a race).Thanks!

I have used my Garmin watch to track all activities for over a year. It has always included heart rate data.This week, I'm tracking runs as usual using my watch, but heart rate data isn't included on my strava summary (it shows heart rate in my garmin app). All other data from my run syncs to strava.I have checked the settings and have consented to sharing health data.How do I get strava to show/sync this data again!? And why has it suddenly stopped?

I'm developing a Web site. The site offers users to connect to Strava. It works well. However, many of my users use the Strava app and don't even remember their credentials. I would like the oauth2 flow to use the Strava app, not the Strava site for approval. Is there a way to do it?

It’s killing me I can’t find all my activities there. Why would you only show certain activity types? I for ex do a lot of rock climbing / mountaineering and the routes are so important and helpful but I can filter those. It does show up if I go to one of my previous activities so the functionality is certainly there. A view all filter would help tremendously too. I just want to know where people are going through the most and the trail that makes more sense I don’t care if they saved it as a hike, trail run or whatever. 

I know the mileage on a bike trail I ride weekly.  After I stop the ride and look at the miles and time it is OK.  When I save the activity the mileage is wrong, the time is correct.  What can I do to solve this? thanks

Every time I go and save the map of a ride its different.. It use to be great, a simple map with the required details, then half the map was getting cut off, now a stupid gradient and text over the top of it.. Why cant you just leave a perfectly working feature alone, and not screw it up?

In the image the Surface Type information next to estimated moving time shows 100% not specified while  in the elevation profile map it's about 50% dirt, 50% not specified. Browser is Safari 17.6. 

My weekly summary for cycling shows hours instead of miles and I cannot see how to change this. My indoor rides calculate miles so that shouldn’t be an issue. and I want that metric instead of hours- any help appreciated as I’ve searched and asked the chatbot!

We have a challenge at work where people compete in teams of 5. We have 100 people who has signed up, so we need to create 20 different teams.  But when I came to create the 11th club, I got the error on my phone and online on PC:“Something went wrong. Looks like this isn’t working. Please try again later” I can’t find any documentation that there will be a limit/max of how many clubs I can create. Any that have similar experience or am I just experiencing a bug?  

When in a segment, the screen shows the screen as green rather than showing my progress vs prior runs on this same segment. Is this a glitch or a new feature that I don’t understand? 

I have recently rejoined Strava community and trying out first month with a subscription.  Does anyone else out here feels the watch app could do a lot more than what it does how. For example, saved routes / to start routes can only be done with the mobile device. I dislike carrying my phone for any run and would love to have this feature on watch app alone, but it doesn’t.  In this case, I recorded the run in both devices and Strava couldn’t even figure out it was same workout and saved both thus causing data error when I deleted one of it.  Is Strava looking to make this feature more robust? Would love to hear anyone else’s experience.  Thanks!

The upload works fine — GPS tracks and total distance are correctly recorded on Strava. However, we’ve noticed that some of the statistics displayed on Strava differ significantly from those calculated by our own app.We suspect this may be due to differences in how these metrics are calculated or interpreted between our app and Strava. I am an Android developer and I use webviwe redirect. Most of the time I cannot log in and authorize, but sometimes I can log in and authorize normally. HELP! I changed some setting(s) in Strava, and now instead of my actual Distance and Pace showing, I see  0.00 and 0S/mi. I use the Strava app on my iWatch and my iPhone. When I start Strava on my watch to record my run, it stays at all zeros for average pace and miles during the run and when I finish. It appears that these are being recorded, simply not displaying on my iWatch, iPhone app, or Strava's website. I've attached screenshots showing what I am seeing on my dashboard now and earlier before I changed the settings (security? privacy?). I'd like to see my pace and distance while I am running, as well as on my dashboard after my run. I compared my settings with my wife's settings on all of our devices and they all seem to match, and her dashboard displays correctly with what we both prefer to see shown.What I see now after a run with 0 miles and 0s/mi pace:I see Time, Elevation Gain, and Max Elevation now, not Distance, Pace, and Time:The week of Sept 18-24 shows what I want

On may 18th, I was editing one of my shoes from the iOS Strava app. After a run, I went to « my shoes » section, saw the proper list as usual :mizuno wave Daichi 7 salomon ultra glide 3 mizuno wave ultima 16 « pour tapis » Mizuno wave rider 28 bleu vertthose last ones are my usual pair of shoes for the running. So I clicked on it to « modify » , check the « make default » box, and validated.once back to the list, this pair disappeared ! I checked the « retired shoes » section, it’s not there. I have an old pair of « mizuno wave rider 28 », but it’s an old one. The new one had « bleu vert » at the end to make the distinction.I went to check all the runs I’ supposed to have done with those shoes, and the shoes reference has left, there’s a sad «-« character instead.of course, it’s annoying. I have tried to ask for help from the support, but I’ve been told that « they are limited to investigate these sorts of issues », which, I won’t lie, puzzled me for the rest of the week… so ? I am looking at the heat maps in my area. When I seleect global there is data but when I only select weekly heat map there is no data for any sport. Is this only available in a limited area?

I tried connecting my amazfit active 2 to Strava and did a run. The gear shows just amazfit active instead of active 2. As suggested by others disconnected both apos, manually downloaded gpx/fit files and manually uploaded on strava website. Still the gear shows wrong. I want it to be displayed as Active 2 instead of just Active. Any help.. 

Sharing my Strava activities is one of the key reasons I use the app at all. The new Strava share activity options that I have on my Android app are awful. Almost everyone I run with on Fb end up screenshotting the opening activity view and using that when sharing so I am far from being alone.

Hi,(I hope I posted this in the correct section, please bear with me if not)I just recently updated the Android app on my phone (Google Pixel 7 Pro), and it seems I can no longer access my profile. I used to be able to do this by tapping on the “You” button on the bottom right and then there was a button on the top (a clipboard icon, I think?) where I could see my profile. I used this to check my shoes (I always used whichever pairs had fewer miles on it), but now I can no longer do that. Is this a feature or a bug, or did it simply relocate somewhere else?Thanks

Over the last couple weeks about half of my weight training sessions show up in my "activities" but not on my "training log," which I like to use to see trends over time. All my runs show up. To my knowledge there's nothing different in settings for the activities that aren't represented in the training log. I've only gotten back to weights in the last couple of weeks so I don't know if it's an issue with my data or app updates. Example from yesterday (May 20) in attached photos.  

When on a Live Segment (on my Garmin 1030), the positive and negative time differences are the complete opposite of what you’d expect if you’ve ever watched a sports event on the TV.For example on Il Giro right now - When a rider/group is behind the leader, they are listed with +minutes:seconds (Positive value)On Live Segment it’s the complete opposite! When I’m behind I’m being shown a negative value. This goes so hard against common sense that I feel like Strava is trolling me.

Sorry can't find an answer or way to do it - does turn by turn navigation work on Pixel Watch 2?Was the main reason I subscribed to find local routes and I would want Strava to track my runs and pace ideally?

I couldn't find any relevant field in the API request for "/activities/{id}", but cycling activities have cadence information. How can I display the step count? (My Strava app shows this information)

Hi, I'm trying to build a small app for my company's Strava club to track weekly "winners" similar to how the club page shows "Distance / Total Running Time / Climbing" leaderboard entries and ran into a few issues in the process that I'd like to raise as well as a suggestion on how to mitigate why I think you built the API the way you did.My goal is to track the 1st/2nd/3rd place for each week and accumulate "medals" for people over the course of the year. Additionally, I'd like to store and keep certain things updated such as "Longest Run This Year" or "Most Elevation In A Run This Year" and post when someone sets a new record.
