Getting Logged Out of Community Hub

For some reason, over the last couple of days I have had to log into this Community Hub pretty much every time I have opened the page.  I am using the same bookmark as I have since I started.  In the past, I remained logged in, but something has changed in the last couple of days.  Anyone know if that was a change to this page?

stats showing in leaderboards but not activity profile page

Hi, from the start of this year, my full run stats aren't showing in Profile page , I haven't changed my privacy controls from last year However the stats are feeding  into Challenges/Leaderboards, for example completed 100k Jan run challenge but only showing 66k in Profile  Itsa mix of Run and Virtual run

Wrapping up 2023...A Thank You to our members

As we wrap up 2023, we would like to thank all our members for their input here on the Community Hub and share some of our highlights from the year. Over the past 12 months, we have welcomed many new members and we’ve enjoyed reading your stories, ideas, and discussions. There were a number of inspiring and inspirational stories that our members shared this year. Take a look and give some kudos to @JasonGirouard who ran EVERY block in Manhattan, @Ken shared his weight loss journey with us and @1Danimal  shared how Strava Beacon saved him after a bike crash. We also saw a number of ideas that our teams were able to deliver this year including Direct Messaging, Assign Default Gear by Activity type and integrating with NIKE. In addition to NIKE, we also integrated with Spotify allowing users to easily access music, podcasts & audiobooks from the Strava app while tracking activities.  We particularly loved seeing our members helping each other out this yea

Let's talk about Wimbledon 🎾

If you’re a tennis fan, you know that one of the biggest events in tennis is about to begin. The oldest tennis tournament in the world, The Championships, or Wimbledon, will bring thousands of tennis loving fans to England where they can take in one of the 675 matches that are scheduled between July 3 and July 16 this year. Since 1877, some of the greatest in tennis - Martina Navratilova, Billie Jean King, Björn Borg, Serena & Venus Williams, Roger Federer, Steffi Graff, and Andre Agassi - to name a few - have showcased their skills on the only one of the four Grand Slam competitions played on grass. Of all the matches, the Men’s and Women’s Singles are often the most anticipated. This year’s favorites are Novak Djokovic (Serbia) for the men and Iga Świątek (Poland) for the women. Best Efforts and Imported Data

Curious to know if there’s something I’m missing with imported data and how it reflects with Best Efforts.With -25°c weather, I’m running indoors on a treadmill. I’m using the Apple Workout for tracking the run and then using RunGap to import into Strava.I completed a 10k yesterday that would qualify as a Top 10 10k for run time, but it hasn’t populated into my Best Efforts. Is this a limit of the data being imported, or a limit of the run being indoors even? Thanks!

Hello. I feel like crying....😫It is the second year now that I cannot get my 50% promo code to work.Can anyone assist me in showing me where to enter the promo code so I can redeem it? My subscription is ending today and the only option is via apple store where there I no option but to pay the full subscription.

The Year In Sport Trend Report

Do you love year end recaps?  I sure do, so I was excited to read the Strava Year in Sport Trend Report We surveyed 6990 active people from around the world, and combined that with 2023 activity data from Strava, to come up with insights about the trends shaping the world of exercise.     Here's a few of the highlights I found particularly interesting: running was the most uploaded sport type on Strava, followed by cycling and walking 76% of Strava Athletes with pets say their pet helps get them exercising when they otherwise wouldn't women in the United States are 70% more likely than men to say that lack of a safe space to exercise is a barrier to working out.  Globally, only 9% of women cite this. gravel riding is growing!  In 2023 the share of Athletes uploading gravel rides increased by 55% Check out the full report here and let us know what you think.  What surprised you the most and how do you see some of these trends changing as we

When my son's on my phone he somehow seems to keep entering me into challenges that I've no desire to participate in. There's no way to remove myself from them afterwards. Can you set up some functionality to exit a challenge that you accidentally enter please?

Strava extension app - My workout companion

Hello everyone, I am a huge Strava fan and in order to get more detailed overviews of workouts data I have developed an extension app for Strava which offers additional analytics, visualizations and summarizations of your workouts. It was built to satisfy my own needs, but while working on it, I decided to make it public, where also other people could enjoy it.Feel free to try it, it is available here https://myworkoutcompanion.net/ as standalone app. For Chrome and Edge users there is browser plugin which integrates additional functionality directly to Strava webpage. I hope you found this app useful. Split a long trip into daily routes and still maintain an overview of the entire trip

Hey everybody, I am going to make a long route soon (±1000km), I have mapped it out in Strava. I plan to cycle ±100-150km every day. I would like to see the overview in one report of my entire route (±1000km) afterwards, but I would like to see how many altitude meters and kilometers I have to cover per day. I would also like to decide every day to which point I will continue. Is there a possibility to combine both?

Trouble with email and contacting support

I purchased an annual subscription yesterday but used the incorrect email address. I also need to change my email address but I do not have access to this email and cannot remember the password.I've logged two tickets with support but haven't heard anything back. Any ideas welcome!All the best,Dee

If you're new here, then it's a little Community ritual we like to keep going each month to have you come and introduce yourself. Share whatever you're comfortable with, whether that's what activities you like to do, what you're interested in learning from other Strava athletes to help you go further, or just a random fact about yourself. For February, let's talk about your all time favorite place to be active - whether that's riding a bike, hiking, walking or something else entirely. There's lots of places I love to ride my road bike, but my all time favorite is on the country roads west of Morristown, New Jersey, USA.  The labyrinth of winding roads snake through beautiful green countryside, the pavement is smooth, and  vehicle traffic is almost non-existent.  The hills are mostly rolling and the other cyclists you encounter are prone to smiling and waving.   This particular ride

Running for making friends

 How a lethargic morning ended up meeting my college alumini.Plan was to just go to the park and do a 60 min time spent with a slow jogg.Indeed , started with very jogging pace, however after 2 nd km it came back to my normal pace( as per strava )even though effort wise both mentally and physically was not even average effort.7 th km tried to put the effort with strides and looked like it I was struggling beyond 4.20 pace.But happy to complete the 60 min.Post run, the interesting part was, I saw a person like  my MBA alumni and I started scrolling LinkedIn to find him.Finally , I broke my hesitation to hay hi to him and test was a free flow conversation.Some learning: ” most of the daily problem can be avoided just like that of we know HOW TO SPEAK,HOW TO ASK QUESTIONS,MBA helps.”A 60 min after probably an year.https://strava.app.link/xF25tgUMsCb

BEACON for everybody.

Security is the most important thing when we practice sport, and Strava have BEACON to connect our trainings with family and friends. I don't understand why Strava just connect with Garmin if the others users are paying the same amount of money every year.Please, allow other devices (for me COROS) to connect with Beacon and bring us a happy and SAFETY new year for everybody.

I ran every street in Manhattan (Recorded with Strava)

On December 19th, I finished running every single block of every street and avenue in Manhattan. It took me all year and covered roughly 750 miles, not including the times I had to double back.On this date in 1954, 65-year old Thomas Keane  finished walking every street in Manhattan, a feat that the New York Times included coverage of. Fifty years later to the day, Columbia University librarian Caleb Smith  repeated Keane’s accomplishment. After running two miles down Madison Avenue, I carried on a tradition that has now lasted for almost 70 years, bringing my pointless but difficult quest to run every street in Manhattan to a close.I would record each run with Strava and export the GPX data, then combine it with a previous run using GPX.studio to create an ongoing map of my progress.
