Hi Strava team,for few years now you had featured maps supporting different subjects, like Ukraine, Black Lives, Pride, This Girl Can.given the bleak events in the middle east and no prospects for peace - couldn’t you add two maps for Palestine and Israel, and let users express their views like with the other featured maps?Thanks

I like achievements concept at Strava. One thing is how you have improved a performance. But something the biggest achievement is actually that I managed to do the training - simply because the motivation is low.So my idea is to have make "achievement" called "You did it" (naming is open for better suggestions) where you can identify a session as a session were you did "beat" the motivation and can celebrate that you did the effort - even though you were not motivated.

Activity filter Indoor training should be one of the options!

Obstacle Course Running is a distinct activity type, different from simply running or in-place cardio/lifting. GPS tracking is an essential aspect of obstacle running, but using a standard run / trail run activity to track obstacle running leads to an inflation of running paces that does not account for the work done on obstacles. This results in the appearance of slow paces and innaccurate intepretations of fitness by Strava. Plenty of athletes in the Crossfit, Spartan Racing, Hyrox, and general fitness space implement running with resistance-style and obstacle-style movements in racing as well as training. Even Garmin includes an “Obstacle Racing” activity. Furthermore, the obstacle course community is full of racers who use Strava on to track their workouts regularly. Such an activity/feature does not need to be complex in its activity breakdown. Hello, I am a french riderFirst of all thank you for your great work. I love this application. I have been practicing electric mountain biking for some time. However, I notice that electric mountain biking activities are not counted as cycling activities, especially for the difference in altitude. They are classified in other activities. Would it be possible to classify these activities as cycling activities? thank you

How does one go about submitting a GDPR request all my data strava is holding about and from me and how it’s being used?Secondary request, how does one go about submitting a right to be delete request, requesting all my information and analysis of my data is removed so it complies with the GDPR?

I've accidentally found out that it's possible to view the list of my Strava support tickets in the mobile app. However, it's quite cumbersome to find them (need to open any Help text and then, seemingly randomly, there is or is not a “pen” icon in top right, which would open the list of my tickets & updates.) This really should be accessible easier (and more reliably too - the current path mentioned above works quite unpredictably), i.e. directly from the app menu - perhaps it would make most sense to include in Settings > Help; and it would also be helpful if we could enable push notifications for ticket updates. 

Please build a filter to allow us to reduce and control the content on our main Strava feeds.  This has been asked for by many people, many times over many years and is not rocket science to build.In particular I only want to see outdoor activities above a particular duration or length. Others will have different preferences which would be simply solved with a user configured filter.In it's current state the main feed is completely overwhelmed by virtual rides, short duration/length activities, swims, gym sessions, challenge notifications, follower suggestions, ... In the current state it is almost impossible to see all the activities one wants to comment on and interact with and thus the social experience that Strava aspires to provide is increasingly compromised.There are web-browser plug-ins that already deliver this functionality so it cannot be hard to build this into the actual app itself.I would have no objection if this was a s

I do a lot of my winter running workouts on Zwift. When it uploads as a virtual run I’m unable to tag it as a workout or a long run. Can these options be added? I like being able to see my workouts easily in my training log. It does give me the option to tag a virtual run as a commute? How does someone commute on a treadmill?

Hello!I've been thinking for a few days about how amazing it would be to have a very useful feature that, as far as I know, is not yet available. For example, when cycling, it would be great to mark "milestones" like "chain replacement," "tire change," or "bike fitting," and then be able to search based on the dates those events happened.This would be really helpful for keeping track of bike maintenance, seeing which activities were performed after specific changes, and analyzing improvements, habit changes, or even the disappearance of body pains, etc.It could also be useful for runners, for tracking shoe replacements, injuries, and similar events.That's all! I have an unconnected,  basic exercise bike which works great and don't want to buy another piece of equipment just for tracking purposes.  I record my workouts in Samsung Health and they import to Strava. I'd like to be able to edit the workouts to add mileage and resistance. Thanks!

I really like the idea of not only having badges or recognition for riding performance but also for the locations a rider has completed a ride in.  Perhaps broken down into:1) Number of cities ridden in2) Number of countries, states, provinces, territories, and continents ridden in3) Riding through areas of interest (mountain ranges, deserts, famous climbs, famous highways, etc...)I love the idea of having ridden in 'x' amount of countries, or cities, or areas of geographical note.   

It would be great to group my created routes e.g. by country, so that I don't have to go through all of them to find a particular group. For example, if I'm travelling in France, I'd like to only see my France routes, and the same if I'm in Spain.If there’s a feature to allow you to group your routes, or place them in folders with a title, it would be great to also be able to group by things like long run, or tempo run, as they will be different routes depending on distance.There could be an auto-feature which may suggest groups e.g. distance, location, type of run, features such as hills, road, track, trek, or scenery such as coastal, mountain, park etc, or even races such as marathons or other.  But also a manual option where you can give the route a label and it is grouped our put in to a folder by that label accordingly.

I play hockey with my Garmin watch, using Sport 73, Subsport 91 (Ice Hockey). When the activity automatically transfers to Strava, it’s tagged as a workout, rather than ice skating. 

Would bei nice to have a Button/Feature, that lets you set a number of km, after which you are remembered to wax your chain. And also to set it back after you changed the Chain.What do you think about that?

I would love to see the fastest riders on a segment for every year on separate lists. Maybe even monthly on popular climbs. More athlete filtering options would also be welcome, like no pro riders, sorting by watt etc.

It would be beneficial if the Strava widget on iOS (and Android?) offered more flexibility in displaying activity statistics. Currently, I can only select one specific sport (running, swimming, or cycling) to view weekly progress. However, it would be quite beneficial for me to have an option to view stats for "All Activities" on a weekly or monthly basis, providing a more comprehensive view of overall activity progress.Requested Features:All Activities Summary: Option to display combined stats for all activities, rather than being restricted to one sport. Weekly and Monthly Views: Ability to toggle between weekly and monthly stats to track cumulative progress over these periods. Please add either “Snow Ride” or “Winter Ride” or “Fat Bike Ride” to Sport → Ride selection. Strava doesn’t need to try and figure our segments etc but it would be nice to segregate all winter rides differently from other seasons in the same trails. Thanks

Those of us over 50 who have been using Strava for years will likely never be able to exceed the Personal bests we had 10 years ago.  Your App would benefit by comparing/ranking current segments within the last 365 days for the individual user and providing ribbons/awards for Personal Bests for 2024....  I want to be able to answer the question, "How am I personally doing on this segment compared to myself over the course of this year?"  The current system inevitably disapoints the aging rider by constantly reminding them that they are "no longer what they used to be."  It would be nice to see my personal improvements over the course of the cycling season.

How much Time Strava does respond to a subscription refund because if they dont refund within 14 days i cant get m'y money back anymore.I also made refund requests without any answer.What's the solution to this ?

Is there a current issue with the Strava app (iOS)? I have been getting an error message all day since about 10am. I kept getting a “something went wrong. please try again” in the morning so I logged out and now I can’t log back in the app. I know username and pwd are correct since I can login fine on a browser. I deleted the app and tried again. Still not workingI tried the authentication using google as suggested but I get the same error message. 

Hi folks,I just finished a ride and got 2 KOMs, but upon checking on Strava it looks like they are not counting toward the segment leaderboards. All-time PRs, all-time PBs are great.However the perfomance and regularity might vary over the time.But it would be good (and motivating) to also see the PRs, BEs of the current year (either for the current calendar year-to-date, or a sort of 12-month rolling)
