Im giving up on this app, my feed is so full of strava notifications that i give up trying to find the posts i am interested in. Everything seems to be designed to encourage getting a subscription, mine stopped when the cost was secretly increased.Its sad really, this used to be a unique and useful app but there are better options out there now

Although I have not set a goal, are there any runners that might be interested in running and recording high mileage as a club/group on Strava, it can be a weekly, a monthly or a yearly total.

How was your experience?

Hi.  I've just tried to create a new segment; the correct screen flashes up then disappears to a 'blank profile' sort of screen with no options.  I've created many segments in the past and this is the first time this problem has occurred.  Any ideas?  I'm on a Mac.

Hi all,I am thinking about getting a premium membership.As I've seen that there is a coupon for a yearly membership at the end of each year in the recent years, I was thinking, if it is possible, to prolong a membership early, an make use of a coupon is available.So if I start a yeary membership now, could I prolong this membership early, let's say in December this year, and use a coupon for it then?

Hi,I submitted a support ticket yesterday evening about a segment not matching despite staying on course during the Garmin sync error. The algorithm said there was a deviation from the course at 35% despite staying on track at this stage. Could you please advise if a manual match can be made in this instance from the support ticket?Thanks a mill!

Most of us have been there.  In spite of our best attempts to organize and plan our fitness related life, things just sometimes don’t work out the way you expect. I surveyed some of my Strava Colleagues and asked them to share some of the more humorous anecdotes of when this happened to them.   Hope you enjoy! Skippy: When we first moved down here I needed to have an adjustment done on my hybrid bike. I took it to what I hoped would become my new local bike shop. They were fantastic and made my adjustment free of charge. I got home only to discover my pants were torn in the back and one cheek was exposed to the world. No wonder the guy helping was smiling and did the fix for free.    Tre:  I tried to go to the gym and my boss slacked me immediately saying she needed to get on a call within the next 15 minutes, proceeds to talk to me for 30, and my workout window closes. Hello Everyone,   We all know and understand how to run using the following: Percieved Essertion Effort Pace Speed Heart Rate Zone And in most cases we use the above metrics in combination however, does anyone have any comprehensive content on how to train using power zone especially for runners. Yes there is a lot of content on power zones for cycling but as we all know you dont exactly use the same muscles when running v when cycling.    I am particularly interested in also know how power zones change  across gender and age the same way HR zones are calculated. And i want to understand how zone training impact energy in the body over time more esp when running 5KM, 10km, 21km and 42km.    Anyone with credible input and sources pmease feel free to share. If there are scientific papers please share and lastly what is your experience training via power zones and which product do you use to measure such ?

I've been running a lot recently with my partner as part of a new year's health kick. I run with a Garmin Instinct Solar whereas she just tracks using the Strava app on her iPhone. We come out with different results every time and, whilst I would expect my watch to be more accurate than the standard iPhone GPS, I'm not always 100% convinced based on the map etc.Whilst the differences in timing etc do not make much of a difference to me as I am not a serious runner, she has targets in mind as she is training for a half marathon later this year and feels it might be hampering her as she is worried she will not be running at the required pace for her target time based on her training. What do you think we should do to judge the most accurate stats for our runs?

So I have been a subscriber for over 10 years and I got my email from Strava this announcing an inflation busting pricing increase. The justification that the price has largely remained unchanged (well only if 100% increase over the years counts as unchanged) and that the increase is justified because of all the new features (and lets be honest when was the last time they launched a game changing new feature? 3D Maps? hmm I would probably not notice if that was dropped)So what does the community think? Are Strava are abusing its monopoly position and profiteering? Are we going to suck it up? I have been a premium subscriber for over 10 years and the only time they put a foot wrong before was when they changed the feed - but I now see that pure greed is clearly their mission rather than inspiring and connecting athletes around the world.Thoughts?

I have looked all over and still can't figure this out. I created a segment, made it public, and would like to share this with friends. How do I do this?? I'd like to send them a link but don't see how I can do this.

Hi.I started riding on Strava seriously this week after getting some upgrades for my bike, and I was surprised i managed to nab some KOMs. They weren't impressive, but I was happy. Only issues - they were both from the same guy, and everytime I beat one of those KOMs I get instantly flagged a few minutes our hours later. I have three activities which have been flagged so far, and a support ticket (https://support.strava.com/hc/en-us/requests/2818445). I really need assistance as this abuse of the system has been ruining my experience. Can you help prioritize the ticket or is there anything else I can do to prevent situations like these?
