Hi there, I downloaded Strava in Switzerland but whenever I attempt to change the location, it would only let me change the city and the state, but never the country, so it always gives me something like “NY, United States, Switzerland”. My ride on 11th November 2020 has been flagged as not legitimate, including a few KOMs I believe that I was very proud of. I saw on a ride today revisiting these roads that the efforts were excluded, I'll be looking into more of my rides to see if this problem has occured more often. As a keen Strava cyclist and KOM fiend I've always been careful to crop anything if it gets left running. As you may understand, us racers can go out on a chilled ride and sprint up those hills with a tailwind to bring home the KOM to make our lives feel worthwhile for a short moment ;D . I hope you can help me out as a long term Strava devotee haha, thank you

Good morning,I hope you are doing well. I was wondering if you could add a feature that allows you to thank followers globally. For example, I have the usual 19 to 23 people that have given me support as I exercise daily. I thank them as I respond but I don't know if they all get the thanks. 2 ways you can solve this. First, you can add code that will send an update to everyone that gives Kudos to an athlete if they respond with a thank you. It can be similar to the Microsoft Team feature where the ​@Everybody feature gets activated. The second way could be a feature that allows you to globally send to specific people and groups by selecting them from ✔️ box in your settings. The feature could be enabled to send to individuals and groups equals true. If you want me to help please let me know. I haven't coded in a while but always willing to dust of the skills. While I am finding the feedback at individual run level interesting, I feel that if the feedback (intelligence)  looked more at blocks of runs it would be of way more value..

Hi Strava, my activity yesterday was recorded incorrectly. It's showing the wrong distance, incorrect paces, and obviously incorrect PRs. I ran 9k but it says I ran 39k!! at a pace faster than the best in the world 🤦🏽‍♀️. This is messing up all my training data. Is there a way to fix this?" I've been using Strava for years, and recently I've been using the app for my runs because my watch isn't working properly. For the last few days, I've noticed that the distances in the app are always shorter than what I actually run. It seems very strange that it's giving me these numbers, especially since my profile shows my current pace is around 7 😅. Look the map, thats a small park 😁 . I'm really embarrassed that they think I was in a car.

Since the latest app update the ‘create route’ section is unusable for me. I select the start point near my house and select the the next point about 100yds away and the map automatically moves my start point somewhere else that isn’t a public road and creates a route that isn’t correct. This happens all the time now and wasn’t an issue before. Is anyone else having this problem? [screenshots provided]

My videos recorded on the phone show up in a very good quality. Meanwhile, those from the Hero Black 13 Camera have traces of high compression, they are really bad. Do you have any way to improve this?

I have read all the manuals. I have tried everything, however my edge 1040 does not show automatically strava live segments I have starred on when I approach to them. GPS issue? I don´t think so. Live segments does not run when I am on a course? It is not the problem. I don’t follow courses. I have done all is indicated on strava web and garmin connect web, but no solution yet. Any help? 

The newest route creation change seems backwards. The draw and route tool often appears in a different location than my finger on the screen, and I still can't toggle to manual mode like on the PC tool.The worse change though, is when I'm mapping normally and there's a tagged location, like a restaurant or landmark, I can't just click and keep routing. The tool opens the fly away tab to tell me about the location and I have to click add to route, and hope it's on the path I wanted to travel. If I click on a part of my route that I've already been, I have to choose add point or end here each time. The tool is more cumbersome to use than in the past, and I make routes 4-5 times a week. Is there an easier way? Any chance for an update on the routes again?

I regularly use the create a route function to plan my runs however with this new update (28th august 2025) it does not work properly, when ever i click and drag a line as part of my route where it would be previously very clever and fill in the exact line i had drawn, this new one fails everytime, adding random routes nowhere near where i dragged my finger originally.Thought id better feed this back as would like it to be back as it was ASAP.

I have had a ride unduely flagged almost a week ago and despite my ticket contesting it, nothing is happening. Is there an explanation for this ? My ride includes my best performances on a high trafic segment for which I am now the KOM. I was very happy to manage to beat it three times that day until Strava (or a salty user) flagged it. Mistaking it for a motor vehicle is one thing I can somewhat understand but not leaving users, paying customers and platform contributors without answers.If this is an automatic flag, customer support should treat it in priority, especially for premium users keeping the platform alive.

Hi ThereMy Strava feed does not show who I run with anymore (it always used to).  I have checked and re checked all my privacy settings and contacted Strava numerous times.  Anyone else had this issue?

I'm a premium subscriber. It's weird to me that I can only see Total time, distance and current speed on the dashboard while recording. Is it possible to show other live metrics like Avg and max speeds, and heart rate and stuff? 

Is anyone else getting emails that are written in grey on a black background from Strava?

I appreciate that this has been reported numerous times over the past few years. The answer for the past 2 years has always been “We have passed this onto the relevant developers”. But looking at the “KNOWN ISSUES” there is nothing I can find when searching for “Google” or “Google Fit”.Issue 1I can confirm that the bug is still exactly as earlier reported. Activities do not sync with Google Fit until you edit them and then they do sync. Can you clarify whether there is still an open issue for this? I'm trying to figure out where the surface type data comes from for Strava. I know some of it comes from OSM(OpenStreetMaps) and that's referenced here - https://support.strava.com/hc/en-us/articles/8471952550669-Route-Terrain, but there seems to be other data being sourced as well.  Old Ferry Rd and Groveland St both show as being paved roads, which is accurate.  When I go to look at Groveland St in OSM there is a surface tag saying that it's asphalt, so that makes sense.But... When I look at Old Ferry Rd, there is no surface tag present.. So how does Strava know that this road is paved???

For almost 2 months I’ve not been able to create a route on any of my Windows 11 browsers. I deleted cookies, cleared caches and I even set up a new windows user account just for the purpose of using a new browser (with no extension) but all to no avail. Nothing happens anymore when I enter the ‘start’ and ‘end’ postcodes.I’m a paid subscriber but It’s as if Strava no longer recognizes me as a paid subscriber halfway through the subscription.Any advice please?

Recently, the Strava interface changed on the ride screen on my iPhone and now there is a giant “pause” button taking up a good amount of space at the bottom of my screen.  This is bad design. Not only is it taking up unnecessary screen space, the big button can be easily tapped by accident. My last two rides, I have had lots of miles not get properly recorded because I inadvertently had tapped the pause button without knowing it.   And of course, when you click resume and you’re in a different location, then you get those straight lines and not the GPS tracks.   This is just bad design.   Strava Team, if you are reading this, please do something to correct it.  Thank you.   

I’ve just noticed that if I cycle to work (and mark it as a commute as a result), I can no longer see how many calories I’ve burnt. Instead calories gets replaced with CO2 saved.I mean, that’s great, I don’t mind seeing that, but why hide my calories? That’s literally why I record my bike trips, so I can add the calories burnt to MyFitnessPal. You have the data, just show it! Sure, I know roughly how many kCal my usual route takes - but I don’t always go the same route!
