Strava Features Chat

I created https://www.strava.com/segments/39918812 from today’s run. Initially it was showing only me on that segment and it wasn’t populated with other people. After several hours I tried to edit the segment and saved it without making any changes. After that the segment leaderboard quickly populated with other people, however my original run activity from which I created that segment doesn’t match it even after I repeatedly try to refresh achievements. How is that possible?I should add that if I go to the list nearly matched segments on the web, which is the “Don't see the segment you're looking for?” link at the bottom, curiously, the new segment is listed there among other segments that were close but didn’t quite match, even though it shows that segment as a perfect match - obviously because that how I created that segment. I wonder why it can’t get matched

As an avid runner and cyclist I love using Strava and it’s become one of my favorite forms of social media. However the video upload quality is shockingly bad, especially for a paid platform as popular as Strava in the year 2025. You can do better. Please include the ability to upload more high quality video clips along with the new updates that have been happening recently. Thanks!!

Under “Report Profile” there is no option to report an obvious bot account, so I just end up blocking them and not reporting them. I get 2 or 3 bots following me per day and I’m not even popular. I’m getting fed up and it seems like Strava doesn’t even want to take the most basic steps towards addressing the problem.

It’s good that Strava is now beginning to autoflag public “rides” that the AI thinks has either been done at least partially on an ebike or in a motor vehicle.But what about the mess of public “ebike” ride segments corrupted by illegal ebikes?As far as the law is concerned in the UK for road ebikes, if you’re getting motor assistance above 25kph (~15.5mph); the motor assistance is happenig without pedalling; or your ebike is providing more than a 250W average assistance over 30 minutes of riding, your ebike is considered to be an electric moped or electric motorbike.So Strava is allowing electric mopeds and electric motorbikes on UK ebike segment leaderboards, as well as on many countries in Europe and beyond.Electric mopeds and motorbikes have no place on UK public road ebike segment leaderboards.No “Johny Average” rider is riding a 4% hill for approx 4 minutes on a 15-30Kg UK road legal ebike at an average of anything near 20mph, up a slight drag

On my Garmin Connect calendar I have an activity created by Runna App with a name like "W6 Mon Tempo - Tempo 2ks (9km)". When I do the workout it became "City name - W6 Mon Tempo - Tempo 2ks (9km)".When I finish the workout it appears as "Afternoon Run" on Strava.If I open the fit file with https://www.fitfileviewer.com/ I can see it under "wkt name" (see attachment)Neither Strava nor www.activityfix.com are able to see it.Do you have any ideas?

I feel that Strava discriminates a bit on e-bikes, and that the App should be inclusive of all types of exercise and welcome e-bikers into the communityMy specific suggestion:* Allow Workout as a category for e-bikes, it currently is not available. I use road bikes and e-bikes. One of the things I like about an e-bike workout is that I can manage and maintain a preferred BP based on assist levels and gears, and it is definitely a workout for me when I am trying to maintain an optimal workout BP in my optimal range* if you are eliminating e-bike activities from things like leader boards, then establish a separate leaderboard and best time/effort for e-bikes

Can I get my money back, because I don't want this premium feature, suddenly my balance was deducted by Strava, please return my money.

I have a regular 4.2km run. My RE scores vary from 19-42 usually. But today it shot up to 104. I wear an Apple Watch which monitors heart rate and I import the data from that into Strava. This 104 scores seems very high although it is a warm day and I might be a bit dehydrated. Is this a reasonable scenario?

The update a few months ago has really diminished my enjoyment of Strava. I have always enjoyed trying the ‘road less travelled’, especially out in rural areas where the previous version seemed to be very good at showing the more adventurous routes that other runners had taken. It’s not just that Strava have divided up the routes into various activities. Even when I have systematically gone through all the options (including hiking and gravel bikes) some routes that were previously shown have disappeared and the only routes that are still shown are the very obvious ones. Come on Strava, bring back the sense of adventure! Global heat maps has become a fairly redundant function. Also it would help if you used a colour that contrasted better with the map. Pale blue on top of pale cool colours that are used for the maps are hard to read 

Is totally hidden on the app version. Why is that?

Hello,I'm here to report a UI bug in subscriptions modal that do not encode the unicode to “%” character.It looks like this instead: The text had to be: “Risparmia fino al 60%”, the locale is it-IT.To reach the modal you must go to: “Impostazioni > Il Mio Account > Passa a questo piano”

Anyone else still hate this new share activity?This font is too big hiding the map and the last one "paste link sticker here" is useless. The only good thing is the TRANSPARENT sticker. Please Strava go back to the last version or at least let it available for us  to choose  which one to use. 

I have encountered a problem with the activity crop tool on the latest release of the Android app.When I decide to crop some parts of an activity (only tryed the end so far), much more of the activity than I have selected gets cropped.This one (Lunch Hike | Hike | Strava) I tryed to crop away the last 2 minutes and instead the last 3 hours where removed.This one (Morning Walk | Walk | Strava) I selected to remove the last minute, but the last 2 hours disappeared.The crop tool was working fine when I used it in the past (not more that 2 months ago last time).Please fix it (had help me recove what I lost). Thanks,Giovanni

Hello,IF SOMEONE READING THIS, It's possible they refund the amount of money they deduct by online payment (GCASH) I'm so frustrated it's for my tuition fee please help me😭 may I please receive an update regarding my request for a refund? I really had no plan to continue the subscription after the free trial ended since I only subscribed in the first place to try the app while jogging. I think I just used it once but I have no recorded activity whatsoever. I forgot to cancel the subscription before the free trial ended. The money used was supposed to be my allowance for school, so I apologize if I am about to cause an inconvenience on your end; I hope you can oblige my request for a refund. Thank you.

I don’t see an intuitive section to place this topic, so I’m putting in the Strava Features Chat.I'm using Windows 10 on the latest Chrome browser. I’m trying to view my activity history. My questions / weird observations are in bold.I navigate to my profile, scroll down and find the drop down to change the date range. The dates shown are Aug 12 2024 - Aug 11 2025. First, today is Aug 17, 2025, so where is the past week? Perhaps it’s only counting full weeks… confusing, but whatever.I scroll down and I do see my recent activities from this week. I scroll further down to look for more activities and I don’t see any activities older than Aug 11, 2025. No option to load more activities. So, where are my activities prior to Aug 11, 2025? I know they are there because I see them in the mobile app.I click on the drop down and change the dates to Aug 14, 2023 to Aug 12, 2024, the activities change as expected. However, now I onl

How do I disable unrequested historical (i.e. out of sequence) runs from showing up in my feed? I was taken by surprise by this and found it confusing. My expectation as a user would be to have a “show fewer posts like this” choice next to the post, or a clear toggle in settings. This is distracting and makes me want to use the app less. I’m sure some people like this feature, but I imagine some may find it similarly distracting and antithetical to the way we use the app. 

I had a fall in my last run closer to the finish line  at exactly 4.95k of the 5k parkrun. I obviously was in no position to stop my garmin as I was in pain and being tended to by kind runners before I was driven to hospital. Strava shows the total time was 1 hour and the moving time 37 something. How can I remove the non moving time so the run reflects what truly happened? 

Hi, I have recently stated using Strava and I upload the GPX files from my app (oruxmaps) using the Strava inegration.I have noticed that, in my activity feed, the parentheses by the “Best Estimated … Effort” tags show some time stamps that make no sense whatsoever.If I spend 3:55h on my bike, how is it possible that my Best estimated Longest Ride effort shows (16:52:23) in the parentheses?Thank you in advance for any help!Some examples below: 

Just within the last hour I noticed all of my swim activities no longer show average pace on the home page, or viewing own activities via mobile. Anyone else seeing this or is just me? I never hide any details so that wouldn’t be the reason but I will share screenshots to show what I’m referring to. It appears to only be on my most recent open water swims and not regular non-gps swim activities. Can anyone help diagnose this as it was very nice to be able to see average pace when scrolling through activities as I improve my open water swimming.Like I said average pace used to show up on these swims until just an hour ago 11:00PM MST, now it is no longer visible unless you click into the activity.  

I'm not sure what happened to my mileage for this week. I tried deleting all of my activity for this week but this did not solve the problem. Any ideas?

Hi, I have a free version of Stava that I use with a Samsung S8. In the past few weeks I noticed that the Global Heat map disappears when if I'm off line. This is a problem when I ride my MTB on new trails, in the middle of nowhere. Before I was be able to see the Global heatmap both on line and off line.  HELP!!!
