How do i create a group challenge open to others, not just friends?I can only invite friends, can i invite other athletes as well? Thank you,

My PRs are not showing in my activities. My Garmin displays PRs but Strava isn’t recognizing them. I has done it before, and I’ve not changed any settings but it’s not doing it now. When I look at my best efforts, it’s not my recent best effort. It’s frustrating as this is how I can easily see my PRs. Any ideas on how to fix??

Hi,I've noticed that in the past few days, geotagged user photos are no longer visible on activity maps or route planning heatmaps on the web version of Strava (they were clickable blue dots).Instead, I now see commercial POIs (e.g., pubs, even McDonald's, Burger King,) that never appeared before?I use Strava primarily to explore routes based on local photos, (in particular trail conditions of remote places), and this was a key reason I paid for membership.Can you please confirm if this is a permanent change or a bug. If possible, I’d like the previous behavior with photo overlays restored?Thank you.

Walks have been added to running challenges as of January 2024 and as a person who does both run and walk acitvities as separate sports, this has ruined the experience of challenges in the app for me, and in general.My walks are no counting towards running challenges which rightly used to be separate. They are separate sports.I found an idea here from last year where somebody requested the opposite and now it has been implemented. From their point of view, they were lesser abled and some walks "felt" like runs to them, which i acknowledge - however, the solution there is ti simply record a running workout on your device, not a walk.To improve the experience for walkers then more 5k, 10k and monthly mileage challenges can be set up to keep it interesting. Last year I really enjoyed tracking my walking challenge and sepaately doing the running challenges. Now there are fewer challenges in total which seems like the app is getting worse, not better.Also importantly need to point out that

Hi there, Are passcodes now mandatory? I seem to have been switched and am now required to log in via a one time passcode each time I log in on my mac which is something I really don’t want to have to do. I’m very happy using a password, all a passcode does for me is fills up my inbox, if everyone started doing this it would have an absolute cluster. J

Did Strava removed the yearly progress (distance, time,...) from the app?I have free membership and recently can’t find this info in my app :-(

Hello, I have created a challenge but i was not able to generate a sharable link; i can only invite people who are following me. I am a monthly subscriber but some of the people i invite send me a screenshot that to join the challenge they need to subscribe as well. please helpthanks

Hey folks,  I used to be able to make posts on my profile page and in clubs but for the last few months, it is giving me an error. It just says ‘something went wrong’ and does not get posted. I don’t think I have changed anything. My Strava version is uploaded and so is my iOS. What may be the problem? I’m attaching an image of the issue I face. Thanks in advance.

Hi, I was riding yesterday using my IGP BSC300 bike computer that is connected to Strava. I received a call from a friend to go and visit. I have never been to his place so I asked for the address to navigate there and I wanted to create a route to the address in the Strava App but I found it impossible to simply add the address in a just ask the App to plan the route. There is a search option but when adding the address it would take it as the start point, once the start point is selected there is no longer a search option only the pencil or adding another waypoint by scrolling the map. I think this should be a really basic function, so I wonder what is that I do wrong? In desktop there is no problem with this. Thanks

When I am creating a route the default surface type is “Any Surface Type” so I always have to open the dropdown and click “Prefer Paved Surfaces”.Because 99% of my rides are road rides this is a bit annoying having to do this every time I’m creating a route.It’s not a game changer but is there anyway to have “Prefer Paved Surfaces” as the default and not “Any Surface Type”?Cheers,C

Hi!I recently picked up a non-electric scooter from Decathlon so I can save some time on walks while still getting some movement in, instead of going lazy with an electric scooter.I'm looking for a workout type (preferably in Strava) that would roughly match the calorie calculation, while also logging my heart rate, speed/distance and GPS route in to my Apple Health/Fitness apps. I was trying to find a list that shows which workouts log what, but can't find that for either the Apple workout app or Strava.I can't imagine I'm the only one looking for this, what are you all using for this to get the data I mentioned earlier?While we're at it; I went stand up paddleboarding yesterday, it didn't log a route/speed for me. Does anyone here know if that is to be expected?Thanks!

While editing a route when a waypoint is already selected to be moved, if I pinch to zoom I'm immediately zoomed way out such that my waypoint is in the ocean and I'm viewing the entirety of the US and Mexico. At that point I can't even zoom back in. Seems zoom just isn't supported while moving a waypoint. This is made worse by the fact that if I zoomed in before moving a waypoint, when I select a waypoint for moving, I'm zoomed out slightly by what seems like a minimum zoom factor. This is making it extremely hard to edit a map on mobile. Strava for Android version 358.12.

On my local hill, the MTB trails have been maintained and upgraded over the years, i.e. got their lines slightly changed and features added. Hence, the existing Strava segments and leaderboards aren't relevant anymore because the trails are now different, often longer. How should one go about this? Add new segments on top of the existing ones? Will this make a mess? How could the old segments be removed (not sure I can find their creators and make them do it)? Many thanks!

The update that shares pictures now with the info, is good, however it distorts the picture and missed half out. It was much better the way it was before, can we have that option back!

When I record it as walking, the total exercise time appears. When I record it as running, the time drops drastically.What can I do in this case?Thank you very much in advance and wishing you the best!

some of my rides not loading to my training log

The Strava Map shows private parking locations in Points of Interest. In OpenStreetMap (the map data that the system is based on) some parking areas are marked as private - e.g. the drive of someone’s house or a private building complex. However, Strava seems to import them all and display them as parking which is a bit misleading.

When starting a segment the screen works ok but as I enter the segment the entire screen turns green 

Hi,I have an i-phone, and in the last two weeks or so during my rides, the screen goes bright green / blank so cannot see the map / route screen, but if you change the view to speed/time etc. it’s all still happening. I can see that now it’s been happening to others, so I guess this is just to register my frustration with the app.

Hi, I've been having trouble adjusting the mileage when uploading my treadmill activity.Strava is missing 1.5K, and I want to adjust the distance. How can I change this?

I’m experiencing an issue where when I zoom out on the map, the map seems to be cropped and details are not visible within the cropped circle. As you zoom out further this becomes even smaller making the map unusable. See screenshot attached. I’ve checked on the normal website and this doesn’t happen. Has anyone else experienced this? Is it a bug? 

I couldn’t find any place to send direct feedback to Strava so here we are. The new layout for activities is truly awful. It’s clunky, unintuitive, and very frustrating.Why is it when I click the map, it doesn’t go full screen?  Why does opening the photos require multiple taps? Tapping the small photo square swaps the photos to the banner and then tapping the banner opens the photos full screen. Why does the map not follow this same behavior for going full screen????Please revert the layout or give users the option to choose. And if it’s not broken don’t fix it.
