Hello,I manage to merge two activities using third-party tools, but when I do, I lose my power data.Is there a way to merge activities whilst keeping the power data?

Chinese: 跑步、健行的部分都沒有問題，但是戶外騎行，小米顯示的是7.92公里，Strava顯示的卻是78.7公里？平均速度也是差了十倍！English：Running and hiking are both fine, but for outdoor cycling there’s an issue: Xiaomi shows 7.92 km, while Strava shows 78.7 km. The average speed is also off by a factor of ten!  

I did a 1 hour run (activity link) on a treadmill (tracked via COROS watch), but am seeing 2000 hours of activity time on my Heart Rate and Pace Distribution screens on web and in the app. This is impacting my cumulative distributions also. How can I fix this? 

I moved from the iPhone 13 ProMax to the iPhone 17 ProMax in hopes that it was the old phone causing run tracking to be paused for no apparent reason, and while that issue was NOT solved, I’ve acquired yet another issue:Where my old phone showed 90 days of Apple activities I could choose to import, the new phone shows nothing; not even runs that happened since I got the new phone.How do I get Strava to see those Apple activities on the new phone that uses iOS26?  (as does the old phone)

I can’t find “Instant Workouts” on the Android App or website. Where are they lurking?  It says they’re supposed to show on the top of the home page feed.  I’m a subscriber.  App is up to date.  

I am interested in analysing my stops post ride. I would like to see where I rested on an activity (this affects your efficiency percentage on long rides such as Audaxes, i.e. ride time vs rest time) This can be where the stop was more than 1 minute no power or cadence registered speed below 3km per hour (in case of a wandering GPS) Ideally this would show in a table (similar to the existing Laps table) showing the rest start time (time of day and ride time) rest time the end time for each extended stop Even better if you could show these as locations on the activity map Many thanks for reading and hopefully upvoting this idea.

Is anyone else having problems with elevation showing as 0 (flat).All my runs in January are showing as no elevation. Last year's runs are fine. I haven't changed anything. Running the same routes, using the same Fitbit watch etc. Other runners in my area have elevation, just not me. I can't find any way to change the settings for it.It is a bit annoying to be running hills and it not track them at all.I have messaged Strava help, but they just replied with the help page wording that says it's done using the GPS or base map. It doesn't explain why I'm suddenl

Can’t see a feature that exists, but if there is can someone point me in the right direction, if not, may I suggest that Photos have a geolocation attached as well as have the ability for users to add a short description on each of their photos?

Hello, I record an alpine skiing activity from the strava app on my iphone.  I can see the map data on the screen before finishing the activity.  As soon as a I finish and hit upload, the activity uploads with np map data available.  As in the activity just says a distance elevation and time but there is no gps data.  When I export the activity it is a .fit file that is too small to have the gps data (<1kb). One of the times I had replied to a text message while the upload animation was playing.  I think there is something about the upload being interrupted and deleting the data locally before it is uploaded.  I never experienced this issue until this new update with animations on uploading.  This has now happened on 3 separate occasions.  Super frustrating because the gps data seems unrecoverable.  I’ll also try uploading the activity as a ride instead and switching it later to see if this solves it.

Currently, in the desktop version, if an activity has photos with GPS location on them, they are displayed as large round icons on the map. There’s no way to disable them, and they take a lot of space out of the map window. And as in the recent update the ability to resize map windows was removed (sorry, but why the heck?) and especially in the analysis view when there’s not even a possibility to make the map full screen, they take up an enormous amount of space, and block the view easily completely, when you try to fine tune the location of the sliders you want to check a certain section of the activity with. This is extremely annoying and frustrating.So, please, give as an option to toggle off the photo icons from all map windows.

When I go to share one of my activities I have no options of images to share including the stats sticker. I have my privacy settings to everyone and have updated the app to the latest version. I've attached a screenshot of the options I have once the share button is clicked for any activity. When I click the share to again at this stage it just gives a list of apps. Any help would be appreciated. TIA 

Did the developer think, when they released a feature, which allows to automatically hide the start- and end-point of a ride, that maybe, just MAYBE, that should NOT be applied to VIRTUAL rides?I can imagine, that someone does not want to bother setting up geo-zones of privacy, and they want to use the new feature (that is automatically enabled btw) for their IRL rides, that they do not want to have to edit each VIRTUAL ride? (especially in a clumsy way, where the start- and end-point have to be edited via separate sliders, instead of the UI providing a simple button, which disables hiding of anything, if people do not want to use the feature on that ride .. if it really "has to" be done manually for every VIRTUAL ride)Let's be honest - I do not care the slightest, if everyone knows, that I did a VIRTUAL ride in Spain, Chile, or Australia .. and I strongly doubt, that ANYONE does.

It would be helpful to be able to add two or three chains to a bike and have a way to rotate them. Example clicking on chain 2 would automatically pause chain 1 and vice versa. Chain rotation is becoming more common as more riders are starting to wax their chains!!  Noticed this has come up in the past but I don’t see a response by Strava or in the program!  What up?  If you’re going to charge as much as you are you need to support longevity in the program otherwise why should people continue to use the platform?  Help us out please!

I track everything with my Garmin watch and sync to Strava. When skiing (alpine skiing). Strava detects lifts and cuts them out so that the height profile becomes somehting like this (lifts take no time and do not count towards total distance): This is a fine feature which was requested here:  However, there is a bug in this logic. This is implemented in such a way by just removing all points where you are traveling upwards (sitting in a lift). This assumes that the lift only travels in a direct path, which is correct for majority of lifts. But larger gondola-lifts often have a middle-station and then continue the second part in a different direction than the first part. This confuses the Strava alg

Previously if you uploaded a photo to an activity, it would appear on the map at the correct location in a small box which was unobtrusive and you could still see your route map. Now it appears in a giant circle that looks ugly and completely obstructs the route map - if you’ve got more than 3 or 4 photos on a ride you basically can’t see the orange line at all (especially now you can’t make the map bigger any longer). Can we get this reverted to the original setting please?

Please Strava, can we see segment leaderboards by year! I’d love to be able to remind myself how quick I used to be 🙏

You can only choose between two distance challenges every month (ride). Thats to ride 200km or 800km in one month. It’s a big leap from 200 to 800km. Why cant they also make a challenge for something in between. 400km or 500km in one month.

I ride a lot of MTB, and I enjoy finding new tracks in my neighbourhood that I haven't used before.Could Strava not generate a feature where you can see the % of new track ridden that day both in numbers and on the map?Could also be applied to many other activities besides MTB..

I have a suggestion: when the heart rate is high the same notice that comes up to tell us to move can show up to suggest starting an activity.

When a Privacy Zone is configured around a home location, the activity track is correctly hidden and the start and end points are moved outside of the defined zone.However, if an image is uploaded to the activity, the image is displayed on the map based on its embedded GPS metadata. If the photo was taken inside the Privacy Zone, the image marker remains visible at its original location.As a result, other users cannot see the activity track inside the Privacy Zone, but can still see the exact position of the image. This behavior can indirectly reveal the user’s home address or other sensitive locations.From a privacy perspective, image locations should respect Privacy Zones in the same way as activity tracks. Steps to Reproduce Create a Privacy Zone around a home address. Record an activity that starts or ends within the Privacy Zone. Take one or more photos inside the Privacy Zone.

Until recently, when I edited a route, I could click on the small blue dots representing public photos and they would display instantly. For several weeks now, I’ve been getting a loading icon that spins indefinitely, regardless of the quality of the internet connection.Has anyone else had the same issue and managed to resolve it?

How can I connect to an interval timer with stravadoes stava have such a thing? please help  

We just had a mountain bike race last night.  Apparently, a bunch of us had our rides auto-flagged because the system thought they were e-bike rides.  When I first looked at my ride in the mobile app, I saw a box at the top that asked me to clarify if it was an e-bike ride (ride had been flagged already).  At least it gave me an option to select “ride” at that point and it was all good for me.  For a number of others (see the links below), they did not get the notification as far as they were aware, but their rides were auto-flagged.  This was just a normal MTB race on our local trails.  We are not pro-level riders, so the efforts shouldn’t appear that extraordinary.  Heck, I don’t even think we were taking any KOMs/QOMs with the efforts, so it wasn’t even a comparison to existing times on segments.  It appears the new auto-flagging system is too sensitive if it is catching that many people in a single event that are all clearly legitimate, even with heart rate data to support it.
