Pronouns

You've started using 'their' when referring to your customers instead of 'he' or 'her'. Why not have a 'preferred pronoun' field on the profile page for those who want to choose something other than 'he' or 'her' and assume the rest of us are referred to as 'he' or 'her'.

How long does it take for strava to recalculate achievements

Hello,when I try to refresh activity achievements, how long after presssing Refresh Achievements for this Activity (+Proceed) does it take to recompute all achievements for this activity?I'm asking because the "Achievements are being recomputed for this activity. This may take a moment." message at the top of the pa ge doesn't dissapear by its own, but does dissapear immediately if I refresh the page. I know that recalculation is happening in the background but due to this message not dissapearing I don't know when it finishes.

strava incorrect data?

Hi, this has happened again and I am getting annoyed by whatever Strava is doing with my team runs uploaded from garmin. Picture this:runner A (garmin) and runner B (polar) run the same trail, have the same pace, same pauses, everything is basically the same. Stats in both garmin and polar app are nearly identical - obviously, we ran together. Yet on strava, my (garmin) activity is 52 MINUTES longer than my friends. Like how is that possible if we ran arm by arm? His average moving pace in Strava reflects exactly what his polar app says, in my case, according to strava - I am 30% slower than him. Strava does not auto pause when one stops for a while when recording a walk

Hi,I have strava installed on my android phone and enable autopause on for both ride and run but when I record a walk and during that walk I stop for a few minutes,strava doesnt autopause and continue with the timer thus the recorded average speed for my walks is lower than actual speed.Is there a way to enable auto pause for walks?

Mismatch of activities between reality and annual statistics

Hello, I have a discrepancy between the number of uploaded activities and the annual statistics in My Stats on my account. I have uploaded 93 activities in 2024, but in My Stats I have only 83 activities for 2024. When I add up all the activities in My Activities in Training folder, the total is correct - 93 activities. Where could the problem be? My account is 39535432. Thank you. David Lukes

Retire gear component

Hi everyone. Is there any hack how to retire an added component to specific date at my bike in the Strava application. Here is the situation, I changed a chain 14 days ago, but I forget to retire the previous one on the day of change. When I want retire the old one, it counts all the kilometers it did not do. thank you

Subscription Issue

I renewed my subscription, but Strava created a new subscription that isn't showing in my app. My current subscription will expire in 22 days (a 1-year subscription), and the new one doesn’t appear. I’ve submitted two tickets but haven’t received any response. What should I do? It’s extremely frustrating.

10 year age groups is too much for over 50.

I just entered the 55 plus category, and looking ahead to 65, it's hard to imagine going as hard  as I do now.  Just as I know it's noticeably harder now than it was at 45.  Lord knows I'm working my tail off.  So it seems that after 45 or 50, it would be a bit more fair and beneficial to make it a 5 year age group.  Personally, I don't mind people knowing my age either, so it'd be nice to see a person's age in their profile so I know if I'm competing against a young kid or not.

Email Settings

Hi all, I’m new to Strava and this community but does anyone know how to stop getting emails every time someone gives kudos? I don’t want to stop all emails but don’t want my inbox filling up with things I can easily see in the app. The email notifications settings only has on or off for all emails.

Athlets search (web) - can't search by city name any more

Hi, I would like to report that athlets search has an issue from at least few weeks. I used to search athlets via web search using certain phrase (my city name: Biała Podlaska). Unfortunatelly it is not possible any more for that phrase - search returns no results. At the same time I can search for e.g. "New York" or any other city near me like "Lublin" an it works, it returns athlets. The problem is only with "Biała Podlaska" (or biala podlaska, biała podlaska, Biala Podlaska ... and so on).

A small tweak to activity stats: add number of activities to web bar graph on Athlete profile

I publish a weekly summary of our group stats. Being able to click on a week in the bar graph under a persons activity and see the total miles and time for that week is very helpful. What’s missing is the total number of activities for that week. I have to sit and count each person’s. It would be very helpful if that number appeared with the other two.

Imported GPX file snaps to trail unwantedly when creating a route

This has happened to me several times when I've tried to import a GPX file to create a route on Strava. I have been making GPX files using FatMap because its the easiest editing software I've found so far. I get the track looking perfect on FatMap. I then import the GPX file to Strava, but I've found that parts of the GPX track snap to a nearby trail or road when they aren't supposed to and I can't figure out how to correct that part of the route. I've tried adding extra data points in FatMap to no avail. I've tried turning on manual mode before importing the file, which didn't change anything. I've tried adding manual waypoints in Strava, but all that seems to do is hopelessly mess up the track. What am I doing wrong?Update: I created a route from scratch using nothing but manual points in FatMap and Strava still altered it and snapped parts to the trail when I imported it into Strava. So frustrating! Why can't Strava route mapping just work like FatMap? They bought the platform!!

Calorieën aangeven / Indicate calories

Heb sinds kort geen opgave van calorieën meer in de app. Ik zie ook dat er een activiteit wijziging heeft plaatsgevonden? Tot aan mei dit jaar gebruikte ik voor spinnen een activiteit die niet meer voorkomt, gebruik nu binnen fietsen maar deze geeft geen calorieën aan, Hoe op te lossen? TRANSLATION:  I have recently stopped reporting calories in the app. I also see that an activity change has taken place? Up until May of this year I used an activity for spinning that no longer occurs, now I use indoor cycling but it does not report calories, How to solve it?

Route builder not letting me save route

I created a new route in route builder but once I finalized the route the button you would normally click on to save the route ("save route") is still in gray and not clickable. I've created hundreds of routes before and never ran into this. Any ideas? See pic below for reference. You can see that there is a start and end point so I have no idea why it's not letting me save the route.

Maximum speed shown on summary but not on the ride

We have a ride for our user, the maximum speed mentioned in the summery is 69Kms/hr although all the ride there is no such speed. The ride detail activities/12363433025

Inaccurate Swim Time issue

I am using strava on my mobile phone to record open water swimming. When saving the activity I get a ridiculous time, although the recorded route is accurate. I can get the correct time by resaving as a run and then again as a swim. However, as soon as I share it defaults to a ridiculous time. Anyone else experienced this issue and can it be fixed?

Cycling Actual Speed

Is there any reason why Strava doesn’t display the actual speed during my bike rides. It shows the average which updates every so often but I want to be able to see the ‘actual’ speed during my journeys.Cheers

There’s some useful data that Apple Health now supports, but that Strava doesn’t upload: Heart ratePowerCadenceGPS route/mapIs there a feature request open to get these fields added to the Apple Health upload from Strava rides?Also, is the opposite planned? To import the power & cadence from my Apple Watch cycling workouts (now that watchOS 10 supports power & cadence) when I add these to Strava.

Can I see someone else's activity feed?

Someone I follow (and who follows me)? As in, on the dashboard the activity feed can be filtered to My Activities, or Following, but not to an individual. Is it possible to see this? I know I can see some activities on the person's profile, but not the full list (not easily anyway).

Apple Watch and map issues

Hi!I have an Apple Watch and recently purchased a new iPhone (Pro 15).I cycle and I run trail.Prior to getting the new phone, I’d begin my activities this way: 1. Go to strava on my phone. Start a trail run or a road ride. (This is a backup. Normally I’ll delete it once the Apple Watch data gets uploaded). 2. Go to Apple fitness on my watch. Start a trail run or a road ride.3. Import both and delete the phone data as it’s not as accurate. But now that I have the new phone, this strategy doesn’t work. The apple phone data uploads on strava. But the apple phone data is missing the *map*. Before the new phone, I’d get two sets of uploads with complete data and two distinct maps. Right now, if I delete the phone upload, eventually I’ll get a map to generate for the Apple metrics. But it’s on a delay or something. It takes quite a while to see the map. And it eventually asks (on strava) it asks “done your activity” and then offers you the option to add advanced opti
