Hi Strava Team,I’ve been wondering for a while now why it’s still not possible to add padel as an activity type on Strava, especially now in 2026.Padel has grown massively around the world and continues to attract more and more players every year. It has become one of the most popular and fastest-growing sports, and many people actively use Strava to track their sports activities. Because of this, it feels like a natural fit for the platform.At the moment, padel players have to select alternative activity types, which doesn’t accurately reflect the sport. It would be great to have padel available as its own category, so we can properly track sessions, monitor progress, and share activities with others in the community.Could you please share if there’s a specific reason why padel hasn’t been added yet? And would it be possible to bring this request to the attention of the development team again? I’m sure many users would appreciate this ad

I, as I’m sure many others on here, make my own training plans. Part of the fun of training for me is experimenting with what works and what doesn’t. I’ve tried many different methods for creating my training plans for the future and have settled on creating them in a spreadsheet and adding details for each block as I get there. It would be really convenient if there was a way to create and view custom plans in Strava. I’m imagining something similar to the training log but that is forward looking. This would allow me to more easily create my training plans and analyze my data all in one place and would eliminate the need to use a third party app like Google Sheets, Excel, or TrainingPeaks. I’m sure this could also be integrated with Runna for a more seamless experience for those using that app and maybe would open the door for coaches to plan activities for their athletes like you can in other apps. It could also be set up to notify me of what I have planned for the day the way the

It would be good if Strava displayed a weekly average pace across all runs in a simple, obvious way.

It would be great to have the option that an activity visibility (e.g. “Followers only”) expires after certain times and becomes “Only you” visibility. Otherwise any follower is able to scroll through activities years back, which is slightly concerning. Thank you for your consideration!

​Hi Strava Team,​In 2026, it is quite frustrating that "Default Gear" is still a static setting. I own two bikes (e.g., Colnago V4Rs Di 12v and BMC Slr01 Di2 11v) then two distinct IDs (Shifters).​My proposal is simple on my opinion: Allow users to associate specific Sensor IDs (ANT+/BLE) to specific bikes in their Gear list.​Currently, Strava ignores the sensor metadata in the uploaded files and simply applies the "Default Bike". If Strava could recognize that a ride was recorded with "Sensor ID: 12345", it should automatically assign that ride to the bike associated with that sensor.So the Gear commutation would be automatic at activity upload start. ​Best regards,Antonio

I currently file all of my group runs and Parkruns under "workout" because there doesn't seem to be a better tag for them.We currently have; Race, For a Cause, Long Run, Workout, Recovery, Commute, With Pet, With KidI feel like adding two more for Run Club and for Parkrun would be way more regularly used, at least around the groups I know, than things like For a Cause and Recovery at the very least. Additionally, one for Intervals, maybe?Thoughts? Do others here even use the tags? I find they're useful, and maybe not for everyone, but feels like a small edit so people don't have to use the current tags for things that don't actually fit the run.

Why isn’t a race option a default tag for most events? I’m specifically hoping for one for backcountry skiing, as we have a robust Skimo community in my area with weekly races and a statewide Skimo series. I don’t think skimo needs its own activity type, but being able to tag a backcountry skiing activity as a race would be clutch!

The slider to filter route distances on the My Routes web page only goes from 0-50mi. I’d like this to be a lot bigger like 0-200mi. That would allow me to filter routes of larger distances like 50-60mi, 60-70mi, etc.Currently the 0-50mi option allows me to select “50-50mi” which then actually displays everything >= 50mi. For me, that’s almost all my routes and they range from 50mi to about 120mi. So its really not giving me much control to search for which route distances I want that are over 50mi.

It would be nice if Strava added a gear option for swimming activities to give users the option to track yards/meters/miles swam in a suit. I always like seeing how many miles I’ve rode or run and as a swimmer I’d love to do the same for swim activities. Is this something Strava has considered adding?

There should a sport type that is more focused on wellness and recovery, such as saunas / ice baths.

The best efforts for a run are set at 400m, ½ mile, 1km, 1mi, 2mi, 5k, 10k,15k,10mi,20k, HM, M, 50k.  There should be an option to set some custom distance best efforts. This would cater the ultra runner as well as users who want to improve on shorter distance. For example, many military organisations have best effort runs that are not captured in this. e.g. Most of British military has best effort run at 2km / 1.2mi.

Currently when viewing progress after clicking on “see more of your progress” in the app we have the option of filtering the data by 7D, 1M, 3M, 6M, YTD and 1Y.  It would be useful if we could set custom timeframes to be viewed. This for example would be useful to review a specific training block carried out over a defined time period.

Hi, the latest updates of the iOS app have some added automation which seems to try to be helpful, but, please, how can I disable that? 😬First - making a screenshot of activity details triggers a sharing screen (where you can save an image of the map or the activity photo with stats). I understand it might make sense in some use cases, but if I'm taking a screenshot of the splits, elevation graph or pretty much anything in the activity details, I really do not want the sharing screen to pop up and hide the details that I want to capture. Second - once opening a newly imported activity, a "quick edit" dialogue pops up immediately prompting to rename the activity etc. But it's too simplified and doesn't include all the options (such as: shoes), so I always just close it and open the actual Edit mode. The "quick edit" is just a distracting and frustrating step. If anything needs to be automated this way, then perhaps

I’m wondering why my follower and following lists are no longer in alphabetical order?

Hi, I have a "goal" set to do 90mins of "Workout" activities per week. I just set this goal but I noticed that the activity that I logged as a "workout" is not contributing the my goal of 90 mins. You can see the activity and the goal progress in the pics below.Am I doing something wrong?  

At the last couple of track sessions I’ve been to, Strava has only been recording about half of my run. The time continues, so it records the whole time I’m running, but only about half the distance (so it ends up saying I was twice as slow as usual). I’ve been to track sessions for months with no problems, and obviously knew what kind of distance I cover so this is very unusual to happen twice in a row.  Has anyone else experienced this and know of any changes in settings etc. I can make to overcome it? I don’t subscribe to Strava.It used to be that when I clicked on a mile this would be highlighted on the map. When I moved the cursor along the speed/elevation profile a dot would appear at the appropriate point on the map.None of this happens now. It looks as though my map is just a static picture.Have Strava taken this feature away for non-subscribers?I’m using a PC. I’ve tried using Edge and Chrome.

There is a local segment that is 5 laps of a 1.3 mile loop. People generally ride this loop for hours. Today, I completed the loop 19 times with two 20 min efforts and soft pedaling in-between. The first lap is always easy to make sure the loop is clear of obstructions, the laps don’t start at the beginning of the loop, they start when my computer starts. What I’d like is for the segment to be my “best” 5 lap effort. Today, for example, that would have started with my second lap and end at the end of the 6th lap. This would have placed my time significantly higher on the leaderboard than the 3 times that were registered (lap 1-5, 6-10, 11-15). Hopefully that makes sense. Not a huge deal, just curious how that can be handled as the actual leaderboard is likely very off and I didn’t realize that was how the laps were tracked.

When I log in the dashboard, activity feed is just completely blank. I've tried clearing cache, cookies, logging out and in and even tried another browser and it's the same, the page just doesn't load (see screenshot). It's been like this for a week now and is becoming quite frustrating, i basically can't use Strava now I’ve then been to try to submit a support request, and the support request system is also not working properly for me, so now I have no idea what to do or who to contact (does anybody from Strava monitor these posts?)

Ive noticed recently that on my list of activities on the Android app and the site on PC that my ski and snowboard elevation data has either disappeared completely or been wildly inaccurate if the data was recorded with a garmin watch, however any of the data recorded with the app on my phone hasn't been affected.Strangely enough once I click into the activity on the app the correct elevation is still present (see attached image). Has anyone experienced this/is there a known fix?Watches used were a garmin vivoactive 4 and garmin instinct 2x 

Is there a way to remove the annoying animations with silly motivational messages that appear when saving an activity? These have recently appeared on the Android app.
