Hi, I have just recorded my quickest 5km PB and am distraught that it will not sync to strava. I am using a Garmin Forerunner 55 and the activity is showing on Garmin Connect. If I start another activity, it automatically syncs. What can I do?

I recently noticed that two street names on a Strava map were the wrong way around.  The street names have been used in the names of some Strava Segments, which causes some minor confusion.  The Strava map (at least in the UK) comes from OpenStreetMap.  I corrected the 2 street names via the OSM website (it's all open source) but when I look today the names on Strava are still incorrect.Hence my question - presumably there is some delay between a change being made in OSM and it reaching Strava.  Does anyone know how long this typically takes ? (I have a slight concern that I may have missed a step in the process of getting things corrected)

Hi everyone I had tracked my run on my Apple Watch and on my phone however my Apple Watched stopped and it continued to track on my phone my longest distance yet and didnt upload, I’ve tried the option of going to refresh, logging in and out etc is there any other ways? It said it was uploading for about 10 mins after I saved it and then just disappeared . Any help at all appreciated it  

Hi, this has happened again and I am getting annoyed by whatever Strava is doing with my team runs uploaded from garmin. Picture this: runner A (garmin) and runner B (polar) run the same trail, have the same pace, same pauses, everything is basically the same. Stats in both garmin and polar app are nearly identical - obviously, we ran together. Yet on strava, my (garmin) activity is 52 MINUTES longer than my friends. Like how the **bleep** is that possible if we ran arm by arm? His average moving pace in Strava reflects exactly what his polar app says, in my case, according to strava - I am 30% slower than him. I have an app running with about 400 daily users. I have done a lot of updates to it and want to test them before deployment, obviously. How can I run a test where I have 10 users (I will personally organise the 10 to actually do this) go and connect to the testing version of the new deployment so I can test it before deploying it?

I have develop an app for bike ride. I want to sync the routes of athlete and use coordinates&directions to display route and navigation. but i didn't find the data of direction. someone can help me how to get the directions data of the route? thanks.

I know that the discrepency between Garmin times and Strava times have been reported again and again and the response from Strava is always "we're right, they're wrong" but this is ridiculous.I started a weights workout on Friday and finished it today, Saturday, and now Strava says the workout was 30 hours long while Garmin says it was 50m. That's not Strava being more strict about paus times, that's just silly.

Anyone else notice that the weather stats (like the equally *wildly inaccurate* "calories" stat) are insanely inaccurate? I live in Miami. Today's ride was oppressively hot & humid. According to Strava, though, the temp was 79° F, with a "feels-like" temp of 83°. Ummm...NO! Not even CLOSE. According to Weather.com, the feels-like temp was a whopping 104° F! Slightly different, I'd say.The Strava temps are not just "slightly off," but 10° to 20° off every single time.I have no idea how/where Strava is getting the weather information, but it's wildly inaccurate, to the point where I do not want the bogus Strava weather info to automatically appear on the ride.Is there no way to disable the weather stats? They automatically appear on the ride summary, despite being a complete joke.This should be a feature users could disable!Bottom line: If Strava can't provide accurate temps, the either DON'T provide t

I have encountered a huge problem today having completed the Swim Serpentine event in London. Distance was incorrectly showing as 2,745 metres instead of 3,440 metres. However, when using the 'correct distance' feature, the distance correctly changes to 3,440 metres, but my moving time drops from 1hr 37mins to 22mins! A drop of 1hr and 15 mins!! What is going on here Strava??Please just add the ability to show elapsed time rather than moving time, and the problem would be significantly less of an issue. Especially when these events could be classified as a 'race' as per the options for running and cycling...

I want to see average heart rate for «Your Results» on cycling segments. Now it just shows average power (W), and of course average speed (km/h) and total time.  I know it is possible to see the heart rate on the «Analyze Effort» page. But I want just an easy overview for all efforts to compare my fitness and see my trend. Same power and lower HR = better fitness.  There is enough space on the page + it would not clutter the page in my opinion.   

I'm using 3D terrain maps a lot. For week or two there are no labels at all, city/town names are missing and you can see just plastic map which is not as good as with labels. Am I missing something, like new setting (show/hide lables?)...? Or is this a general bug somewhere?Thank you in advance, Jan.

I used a Galaxy watch 4 and whenever I did my activities, the watch model appeared in the activities. I just bought the Galaxy Watch 6 and the device name simply doesn't appear in the activities. everything that appears and Wear Os by Google. That is, the name of Google's OS

I post my rides from Cyclemeter to Strava. Yesterday’s ride shows up in my Strava activity field but it doesn’t show up on the calendar of activities or count the miles toward my progress. All the settings are the same as i always use. I’ve deleted and reposted the ride several times but the result is always the same - I can see it in my feed but it’s not counting. Any ideas?

I have ran a PB on 5k today in the strava Apple Watch App. However, on my acitivity feed it shows 3:44, and in Brooks 5K challenge it shows 3:47. Nonetheless 3:47 is my current PB so it should be showing at least a second best try?  It seems like it only registered the run but not quite the segments or personal bests.. Thanks in advance! 

Hi, my run uploads correctly to the garmin app with time, distance, map. But then when it uploads to strava, the map is cut off and the distance is 0.0km. The time is correct but it has not shown any distance. Does anyone know if I can manually upload my run from garmin app to strava? Thanks!

I have a problem. The full distance of one of my bikes is incorrect. Strava shows that the bike has ridden 11,203 km, but it should be 4,683 km. I last verified the distance at 4,344 km. Since then, I have had 5 activities with this bike, with a total distance of 339 km. I tried to change the bike to another in these 5 activities and then return to the correct one, but it did not help. The distance is still incorrect and is 11,203 km. What can I do?

When uploading activity data to strava, if the activity name and description are not in English, what encoding format should I use to transmit them so that they can be correctly displayed in the strava app

If you register your gear, 1 x smart-bike, kettler hoi speed, do you enter the bike weight? For a virtual ride (ROUVY) I would assume bike weight is irrelevant? Kindly advise right procedures to ensure W is correct.

Hey everyone! I'm working on a project and belatedly realized that description is available in the response from the get activity endpoint, but not from the list activities endpoint. It seems so gratuitous to then call out to getActivity for each activity from the list results! Does anyone know if there are plans to include description in the list endpoint as well? It's my first time posting to this discussion board so hopefully this is an okay question to ask and I added okay labels and tags. As a first time poster I wasn't sure the difference between labels and tags really!Thanks!-Ali

Strava doesn't offer the same number of map layers. Is it foreseen by October 1st?

You've started using 'their' when referring to your customers instead of 'he' or 'her'. Why not have a 'preferred pronoun' field on the profile page for those who want to choose something other than 'he' or 'her' and assume the rest of us are referred to as 'he' or 'her'.

Hi, whom do I contact to undelete an activity from Today? It was saved on Strava and I delete the wrong post.  If anyone know how to stream from i-watch to i-phone for maps that would be handy too. Then I would not need to run 2 sessions to get my HR.  

Hello,when I try to refresh activity achievements, how long after presssing Refresh Achievements for this Activity (+Proceed) does it take to recompute all achievements for this activity?I'm asking because the "Achievements are being recomputed for this activity. This may take a moment." message at the top of the pa ge doesn't dissapear by its own, but does dissapear immediately if I refresh the page. I know that recalculation is happening in the background but due to this message not dissapearing I don't know when it finishes.

Heya,If you upload an activity via GPX file, does Strava generate a Polyline for it in its API ?From what i see summary_polyline is empty for such activitiesIs that normal?Thanks
