I’m calling get_logged_in_athlete in Python using an access token that has the following scope.scope=read,activity:read,profile:read_all,read_allThe response only returns all the data on the following:‘bikes’ ‘clubs’  'follower_count': 174,  'friend_count': 183,  'ftp': 250,  'measurement_preference': 'meters',  'shoes': [],  'weight': 73.0If I use the same access token in Postman and hit https://www.strava.com/api/v3/athlete then I get all the profile data I would expect, including the data above.I’ve seen one similar post on this subject with no real resolution and i’m a bit at a loss on what to do next.    

I have a problem with my Garmin heart rate monitor (HRM Dual) that connects to Strava but not showing heart rate. Started when changed to new phone: Google Pixel 8 Pro with Android 14, have allowed evertyhing, i think.. HRM Sensor works fine in my Garmin 530 unit

I have a NordicTrack (NT) studio bike that uses iFIT, and I have synched iFit with Strava.When I do a map-based workout on my NT bike, the workout is captured in Strava as a Virtual Run and the sport type box is greyed out (can’t modify to virtual ride).  How do I get this fixed so my rides are categorized correctly and not recoding as runs, which has wrecked all my running PRs. 😖😖😖

Hi. Why will Club Events now not save if I include a Strava route?  If I don't include the route, the event will save and the club members are notified by e-mail. I have been creating routes and including them in Club Events in Strava for the last 4 months without any problem. What's changed?

Your recent update to segments is a bold attempt to clean them up.  One of your changes is to have verified segments.  Your method in determining which segments to verify is through the use of staring?  My concern with staring is that stars are functionally used for LIVE STRAVA SEGMENT ATTEMPTS.  So if I am making an attempt for a segment KOM, i like to see live segments.  However, if i am not going to make a KOM attempt then i UNSTAR said segment because it clutters my screen when ridging/navigating.  Additionally, when i do get that KOM, i unstar.  In other words, staring is not a vote to LIKE or promote a segment.  If you do want to make VERIFIED segments, please create a LIKE button for it rather than counting stars. 

I used to live in Shanghai, where I created my account, about 10 years ago. Since then I moved to the US and I have updated my location to the city I live in (SF, CA) but the region still says “Asia, Shanghai”. I am able to edit the city but not the region. Would you have any suggestion on how to update my region?Thank you 

I have used the description section on activities to add links to race results and race videos on youtube, and these links have all been removed from my activities, some of them dating back a few years. This means that I can no longer find some of these results that I had linked for personal reference and followers can no longer see them either.Additionally, I had my professional triathlete profile website linked in my bio section, and this has also been removed. I understand that there have been a lot of issues related to spam bots on strava, but I would appreciate if my old activities and profile weren’t meddled with without my consent and if I could return these relevant links to my activities, which no longer seems to be a supported feature. 

Is there away to define other ride types for Virtual Rides such as those uploaded from Zwift?At the moment the iOS app only has the “commute” option that seems a little out place for a virtual ride.Online I can see similar tags for a Virtual Ride but no specific Ride Type Field.  Is it possible edit/add the tags available for virtual rides via the online portal and have the reflects in the app as ride types? 

Hello, I opened up a ticket regarding my half marathon race that is not showing up as a PR on my profile. (Request #3076831 was opened in October) My profile still shows an old race. I really like “Best Efforts” as a feature, but every time I click into it, it defaults to showing best efforts for running, which would be fine if I had any runs on my account. I wish it would automatically just open the cycling section, given that’s where I have activities and best efforts. I get mildly annoyed every time this happens. This feels like a really easy fix.

I just started using Strava this week, had been a map my run user for last few years.  Everything seemed to be going ok, but during my last few runs when I go to look at my details ( heart rate, distance, pace, etc) my app just shows a black screen with a small x in the top left corner.  If I click on the x, it ends my run.  No matter how many times I turn my wrist, tap the screen, etc, the app is unresponsive even though it’s still recording and giving me audio splits.  This is driving me crazy.  Is there a setting I can change to get it where I can see my data while running?

I was running in a group that shared the route in komoot so I ran with komoot. The running details from komoot al all synchronized perfectly with apple health but strava doesn’t see the activity. Even when I go to the data section in strava manual to try to import the data manually from apple health. i don’t see the details.Two weeks ago I also had this issue when I ran with technogym on my treadmill.Is there a way to fix this? Kind regards  Serge

I have connected Strava within the SUUNTO App, but it won’t sync my activities. It also does not show the SUUNTO as synced app somewhere in Strava, but I am not sure wether it is supposed to. 

The audio cue has reverted to the very annoying posh English male voice.I did have it so it matched my Siri voice, but since I have got my new iPhone 16, it has reverted to the bad voice.Can anyone advise how you get the audio cue voice to change? thanks alot.

Just noticed in a recent activity with the Fenix 7 Pro that the 47mm watch size is added in parentheses. Not a real issue just a little redundant as the "S" and "X" variants denote the size so having the device read only as Fenix 7 Pro is enough.

Strava seems to rely on its server location to determine the day/time, not where I am logging in from, so the relative time of activities is often wrong, e.g. an activity described as “today” was, indeed, yesterday. This should be an easy fix

Steps to repeat:Activities are private by default. Click “Mute Activity” on either phone or web. Select “Everyone” as audience type. Click “Save”Result: People who have selected you as a “Favorite” receive notification that you uploaded an activity.Workaround: Activities are private by default Click “Mute Activity” Click “Save” Go back and select “Everyone” as audience type. Click Save again.The reason one might want to be able to mute an activity, but have it be public is that private activities do not count for challenges…. but you don't want to annoy your friends by “cluttering up the feed” with shorter, less interesting activities.

To provide some background context, I am currently running a sports challenge that utilizes Strava Clubs to track participant's activities. For a particular club, it has accumulated a total of 1032 activities, and right now I am only able to extract 200 of these activities by using page=1 and per_page=200, however when I move over to page = 2 and per_page = 200, it gives me a random number of workouts (in this case 5 activities) and when I move on to page = 3 and per_page = 200, there are no more records. The pagination parameters appear to not work as intended.My concern here is that the activity data are missing and it impedes me from tabulating scores to then show the participants who contributed the most to their clubs.Here are some images provided to help fellow developers and gurus understand the code. I am using Postman to extract the data and a visualizer code that converts the JSON data into a table.

Please, Strava, stop with the new “Kudos on logging an activity” and “your activity is ready” BS notifications. Or let me turn off in the settings Strava system notifications. I only want notifications for when a follower comments on a ride or when they (another human) gives me a kudos. This has gotten way out of hand. 

Any help greatly appreciated, first attempt at using the Strava API. I’m sure this is staring me in the face but i’ve run out of ideas.So I can successfully use Postman to GET https://www.strava.com/api/v3/athlete with an Authorization header of {Bearer nnxxnnnxxnnxx….}. Strava is recoding my rides as e-bike rides automatically?  I don't own an e-bike…. They say it's an automatic assumption and can’t be fixed?   Really?
