Strava, we love you, but why are the MapBox satellite maps so out of date? The house I live in was built in 2017 and is still showing up as a vacant lot. Entire developments near me are missing, including streets. This is not only inconvenient, it's dangerous. We're paying good money for subscriptions, would you please find update or find a better map vendor? Thank you.

Live relative effort has been added for garmin and wahoo devices.. is there a plan to add this feature to apple watch app?

Hi all, I am currently a little stumped on what might be happening. I have connected Strava to a chest strap HRM and am a little confused with the readings. I’m guessing the connection is being dropped intermittently for minutes at a time? it looked like only a few measurements were taken over the course of a 2 hour bike ride. I have tried disconnecting/reconnecting, forgetting device, changing battery, updating, but nothing seemed to work. I am also not connected to any other devices. Interestingly, during runs it seems to be fine? Let me know if you have any suggestions. Thanks! 

I am a Huawei smartphone user and I would love to be able to use Strava on my phone. I know that Strava is not currently available on the Huawei App Gallery, but I think it would be a great addition. There are many Huawei users who are active athletes and they would benefit from being able to use Strava to track their workouts and connect with other athletes. I hope that Strava will consider developing a version for Huawei smartphones (AppGallery) store.

TRANSLATION:  How to keep the screen always on during a bike ride?

I am consistently getting errors in the data uploaded to Strava from my Suunto watch. The Suunto data is accurate but when it comes up in Strava it is wildly inaccurate. This is happening for runs and hikes. For example, today I hiked 8 hours but Strava is saying my moving time was just 1 hr 10min with an average time of about 20kph! Looking at ‘pace’ analysis it looks like whole sections of time have disappeared (but the original Suunto data is fine). Any suggestions about what’s going on?

Strava:On the Club Leaderboards the Strava 500 challenge it’s not added as a 500km ride at the end but as a daily achievement. The pro rides are recorded as daily efforts and when Lael Wilcox completes her around the world achievement, she will not be uploading a ride of 18000 miles. What this means for the average rider is that a big effort of 230Km in a day will not register in the ‘longest ride’ category when other riders tie three easy day rides of 80km’s together. The Longest ride should be for a single day not for multiple days. The total for that multiday ride is represented in the Distance category.

Strava image: garmin image for same activity: Does anybody know what can cause this and how to correct or prevent it?    

I have an Android phone and I use the mobile app to record activities on Strava. On my last two activities, I hit 'record', did my walk/bike and when I went to hit 'finish' I got a message saying that Strava encountered a problem and none of the walk/ride had been recorded. On both occasions I had mobile data on, had checked the GPS signal was working when I hit record and was within city limits. I restarted my phone after the first incident and it still happened. Has anyone else had this issue and been able to resolve it? Cheers!

i tried to get club member activities. To get information of someone, i passed authorization url to someone.But when they try to access that page, page showed 403 error(limit access)how can i solve this.

I'm really interested in developing an app that gives a much richer experience to manage routes. I want to be able to group all my routes by different types/locations/favourites etc and then easily Star groups that I want to Sync to a Wahoo GPS unit. By starring or unstarring a group in the app I would want to be able to star/unstar those routes on Strava through the API. If the wahoo is then setup to only sync public started routes it will just xfer what I want for that ride.Looking at the API documents it doesn't look like you can star/unstar a route but just wondering if I have missed something.It's a real pain when you have a large library of routes and you only want a few synced to the device at any one time!Thanks

Is there a way to ride a loop, make that whole loop a STRAVA segment, and then have it give 1st, 2nd, and 3rd medals? The latter may be automatic, based on leaderboard.

Strava is a cycling community, right?However, it is easier to host a ride via my town's local facebook page than via Strava, it seems. There are clubs, yes, but only club owners can host events, right?Or am I missing something?I'd just like to have a feature where I could just post "50km ride, 18:00 o'clock, meet at XYZ".

Hello. I use Strava on my iPhone and Apple Watch, and have it connected to the Health app. It imports activities recorded with the  iOS activities app just fine. But if I record a workout with a 3rd party app which writes to Health, Strava does not import it. The workout is visible in Health and activities recognizes it. Is this a known issue? Thanks!

I am receiving a notification that my Strava account is temporarily suspended when I try to log in from my computer. Strava works just fine on the phone. I'm trying to export date from my second profile and merge the accounts and I need the computer browser version for that. I know for a fact I did not enter a wrong password. Please help. Thank you!

I wanna ask about this, i did a run on treadmill but the result was not synchronized/sent to strava. is there something wrong with it or explanation? before i did an outdoor run it was fine, it was synchronized and the heart rate also show up in strava. and also, i just did a custom running course from the huawei health app, when i start the course, its automatically sync to my watch (huawei band 9) to record the run. but, the result also was not synchronized/sent to strava? is there any explanation?

It seems like the sizing of the bubble chart in the Training Log might be fixed? If so, we can’t see the scale. It definitely varies by activity.  For example, if the activity is “Run” and the distance is 5 mi, the bubble might be x1. If it’s 10 mi, then x2. If the activity is “Hike” and the distance is 20 mi, the bubble will be x1. However, at a distance of 30 mi the bubble still seems to be x1.   Could we have relative scaling based on our range of selected metric? Attaching a screenshot of what mine looks like on a 3 month long hike/kayak adventure.   

I would love to see something implemented to remove the junk recordings off of the challenge leaderboards and segments. For example, right now the top athlete on the July Half Marathon run challenge says that person ran 63,000 miles with a 0mi pace. Clearly something went amiss and that record shouldn't be above

Hi guys! I have an issue, since yesterday, facebook keeps deleting mi sharings from strava, why? I've made reports, now i am wainting for their response. 

Am I able to see my cumulative step count in Stava?

Hello - I've been added as an Admin to a Club, so I can approve membership requests. However, we still cannot clean up the club (this club is tied to an office-based club) because the identified owner no longer has access to their account.I've messaged the previous owner, and they have confirmed that the club does not appear in their dashboard so they cannot transfer ownership.What remedies do I have for this situation?
