Strava says "Segment creation in this area is disabled because it has been identified as private property, having restricted activity access, and/or other reasons" Support site says it's a known issue and they're working through it, is anyone else having this issue? Hopefully it'll be fixed soon!

I noticed some changes to My Routes.  1) The biggest problem i have with the route planner is when switching from shortest distance to most popular.  Please allow that switch to take effect from the current waypoint to the next (like you do for manual mode) OR from the point you selected that option going forward, as opposed to applying that method of routing to the ENTIRE route.  I spent an hour crafting a route and couldn't get it through an alley (it did a 2-mile circuitous loop to the next way point), when i switched to shortest distance it REROUTED MY ENTIRE ROUTE.  Ouch.  2) Please allow us to delete waypoints from the list on the left again!!  Bring that back!3) It is a small issue but kinda frustrating: we used to be able to grab a part of the route between two waypoints and drag it through a particular place. But now the planner cannot process that action, and the route gets discombobulated and jumbles the route (

I like to create segments for my runs, so I made a few on a trail near a local lake. Now, the interesting part, is that so many of the best runs obviously are skiing acitivites, given that the pace is sub-2min/km here and there (typicall steep downhill), in the middle of winter with snow and ice everywhere, and pacing in general makes much more sense to skiing runs (like, way more variation than you'd typically have during a run). So, I reported as many as I could of them, to clean up the rankings, but now it won't let me report more.I guess I will eventually be allowed to continue, if I bother, but isn't there anything that can be done that's a bit more efficient? It's not a matter of life or death, of course. If there are rankings, they deserve to be as correct as possible.

In iOS 18 icon art should update according to the user customization of either dark, color or standard. All my other apps had this updated and ready to go by iOS 18 release date. Strava however, still hasn’t fixed it. Cmon!!!

Just done a 5km and my Apple Watch was counting backwards from my last run and then when saved didn’t display the full run distance.

Hello. I know this maybe a dumb question but I don't see an answer in here anywhere. I have a pixel watch 2 I use while running. Now I cant find the info but somewhere I thought I read the pace it shows on the watch display is that of the current mile, not the average per mile over the entire running event. My question is does the pace shown on the Strava display on the pixel watch 2 show the average per mile or the current mile pace.  Thanks 

Dear Strava community,Since several activities, I no longer see my Segment PRs on the activity overview, both on the mobile App and on the desktop web page.You can find an example below of an old run with PRs showing on the overview.And just today, I did a new segment where I made a PR:And this doesnt appear on the overview, and I cannot find out why. On my most recent activity, every time I try to enter notes and click save. It doesn't save to my activity. Can you please look into this? Thanks!

I like having my activity distance in the activity title. I just noticed it has now been removed from my activities. For example: My entered title: 2.2k - Easy Neighborhood Run Strava changed to: - Easy Neighborhood Run If I enter as "2.2 - Easy Neighborhood Run" it does not get changed.   

Hiya,Im building a rewards app on top of Strava, whereby if people complete exercises and commutes they will earn real rewards. However the upload manually feature means people can cheat and earn rewards by scripting creation of a GPX file say.At the moment i think the way to detect this is through the device_name field in the DetailedActivity. However that field is just a String rather than an Enum. Is it possible to know what values it might take? Is that the only way to know that the user uploaded a GPX file themselves? as its not 100% protection imho.many thanks 

The training calendar gives the distance travelled for each year. Is there any way you can work out your annual statistics just for one activity type, such as running?

Hi folks, Has anyone else noticed that their activity feed history on the website has shortened. I can only view back about a day or so in my feed. I quite often leave it a couple of days and drop in to find out what my friends have been doing in the past few days. Now I'm finding I'm missing things. To me, it's a shame. 🙁

I like the new quick edit function, and I'm sure you don't want to clog it with everything, but can you add the ability to tag the activity as a Commute? Maybe as a check box rather than a drop down menu like in the normal edit screen. Thanks, love your work! 

Hi!, since lasta day when I insert data like this:NP:190.1W AVG:168.1W 146.3ppm 31.3Km/hOn database the data are correct inserted (When they are edited they come out correct), but when the description is visualiced, is showed this:NP: AVG:I tried lost of things , and is posible the characters ".", or "." are not acepted... What is the problem?I have been inserting that data in that format in the description for years

Hi Developers,I use to Strava and  I'm stayng very irritade when I search to achive a record, but someone use an e-bike, motorcyce or a vehicle and get the better results in the segment.I dont work in the Strava company, but you could create a ranking only register bikes, for example and the bike will need to be register with follow caracteristics:1: The name of Bike, year and caracteristics;2: The photo of Bike;3: One checbox seeing the type of bike(e-bike, motorcycle or vehycle),4: Dont put the nome of KOM in the first page when the same have a bike with motor bike or to create two ranings for it,  I will be very grateful with it."AVOID ACCIDENTS"Fabrício AyresDeveliper/System and Infrastructure Engenieer.Regards.  .

For some reason, I can not create a segment today. Anyone experiencing the same problem?

I have a Galaxy Watch, SM-R800, and recently downloaded the Strava app. I've completed a few runs using the app and like it as it downloads to my phone so I can see the data.However, when I'm running I have trouble seeing the distance. I appears in the lower left of my watch but it's very small. I've seen a few of the post on the message board that tells you to go to settings-display and then enlarge the font on my watch. I don't have that setting and I can't see where I need an update to the Strava software. I'm currently running Version 1.7.24Am I running a past version?

Hello! (This is my first forum post!)I've been using strava for years now and love it, i love all the features for the premium version too. But i was wondering if there is any way we somthing could be updated so that we can view all our photos on our profile not just the most recent 100. this would be awesome as then it would make looking back alot easier. i'm not computor savvy but in my head just thinking about i can't think of any reasons not to? it'd be awesome if somthing could be updated. thankssam
