Hi! I'd like to know how to add vertical to treadmill run afterwards? If I run on a treadmill for example 10 km and 500 m vertical, Polar does not collect the vertical data from treadmill and so it won't be transferred to Strava. So, can I fix it to Strava to that treadmill run? That way I could add it to yearly vertical meters. Thanks for answers! 

I currently file all of my group runs and Parkruns under "workout" because there doesn't seem to be a better tag for them.We currently have; Race, For a Cause, Long Run, Workout, Recovery, Commute, With Pet, With KidI feel like adding two more for Run Club and for Parkrun would be way more regularly used, at least around the groups I know, than things like For a Cause and Recovery at the very least. Additionally, one for Intervals, maybe?Thoughts? Do others here even use the tags? I find they're useful, and maybe not for everyone, but feels like a small edit so people don't have to use the current tags for things that don't actually fit the run.

Why isn’t a race option a default tag for most events? I’m specifically hoping for one for backcountry skiing, as we have a robust Skimo community in my area with weekly races and a statewide Skimo series. I don’t think skimo needs its own activity type, but being able to tag a backcountry skiing activity as a race would be clutch!

Hi everyone, I’m currently building an application that integrates with the Strava API primarily for athlete verification and limited profile display (recent activity summary, ride count, etc.). The OAuth flow is working correctly and tokens are stored securely. However, the application is currently limited to 1 connected athlete, and additional users receive: Error 403: Limit of connected athletes exceeded I’m trying to understand the correct process to move from development (1 athlete) to production-level athlete limits. I don’t see a “Request Production Access” option in the API dashboard. Is the current process to submit a support ticket, or is there another mechanism for requesting a quota increase? For context: We are not replicating Strava features. We only request basic read scopes. Users can disconnect at any time. We comply with Strava’s branding and data usage guidelines.  Any guidance from developers who’ve recently gone through production approval would be greatly apprecia

The slider to filter route distances on the My Routes web page only goes from 0-50mi. I’d like this to be a lot bigger like 0-200mi. That would allow me to filter routes of larger distances like 50-60mi, 60-70mi, etc.Currently the 0-50mi option allows me to select “50-50mi” which then actually displays everything >= 50mi. For me, that’s almost all my routes and they range from 50mi to about 120mi. So its really not giving me much control to search for which route distances I want that are over 50mi.

Balance 2 pool swimming to Strava issueI swim several time with my balance 2 sync to Strava. Find out the execise moving time is the same as total time and the pace /100m would be worng and bad shown on Strava. In Zepp the pace is 2"40In strava is 3" 17I have upload data attach picture of Strava manytimes and still the same. I am curious if anyone have the same problem or just me.  

Hi there,I’ve just this week started having the hr not showing on Apple Watch while recording. I’ve read and tried all the suggestions about making sure I have all permissions correctly enabled but it hasn’t solved the problem.Don’t understand why it would just suddenly stop. I’ve updated watch and phone since the problem and have removed the app from my watch and reinstalled it .Anything else anyone can suggest please?Staring to wonder if I need a new watch maybe 🤔 

I joined the Family Plan and the invitation link does not work for my daughter.  The error mesage says “Sorry, you can't join this plan. You must live in the same country to join the family plan.”  She is only 16 and lives at home.  What do we need to do to allow her to join?

I’ve been selecting indoor run on my Apple Watch but it records the run completely wrong, twice now. My data says I ran 0.04miles and my pace was 7 hours per mile. How do I fix this?  The nike run app records my run correctly. Is it because I have two recordings at the same time?  

I have been on a run this morning (approx 07:40) and it is 15:03 and still no upload onto Strava. The run has been recognised on Garmin Connect but not my Strava. Ordinarily the upload is near instant. I have logged out of Strava and back in again. As well as pressing sync a few times.

It would be nice if Strava added a gear option for swimming activities to give users the option to track yards/meters/miles swam in a suit. I always like seeing how many miles I’ve rode or run and as a swimmer I’d love to do the same for swim activities. Is this something Strava has considered adding?

There should a sport type that is more focused on wellness and recovery, such as saunas / ice baths.

The best efforts for a run are set at 400m, ½ mile, 1km, 1mi, 2mi, 5k, 10k,15k,10mi,20k, HM, M, 50k.  There should be an option to set some custom distance best efforts. This would cater the ultra runner as well as users who want to improve on shorter distance. For example, many military organisations have best effort runs that are not captured in this. e.g. Most of British military has best effort run at 2km / 1.2mi.

Currently when viewing progress after clicking on “see more of your progress” in the app we have the option of filtering the data by 7D, 1M, 3M, 6M, YTD and 1Y.  It would be useful if we could set custom timeframes to be viewed. This for example would be useful to review a specific training block carried out over a defined time period. 

A sport type such as bleep test should be recorded which can track improvement in bleep test scoring. A bleep test is more than just a run.

Strava imports workouts recorded via the Apple Watch Workout app (e.g., runs), but does not import strength workouts created in a 3rd-party app (SmartGym).Those workouts do exist in Apple Health, so I don’t understand why they’re not being imported. In fact, when I signed up, it did import historic workouts from that app, now it’s just not importing new workouts. What I’ve checked:  Workouts are visible in Apple Health (duration, calories, HR present), see images SmartGym has permission to write workouts Strava has permission to read workouts Apple Health connection reauthorized Tested across multiple workouts/days Apple Health sharing: Enabled both directions Deleted and reinstalled Strava and Strave Apple Watch app   Any help/ advice? If this is not possible, Strava is not useful to me.  See images below. Strength workout exists in Apple health on February 4th and 2nd, but are not detected in Strava…  

There seems to be a long running history for this request!  As a club leader I have to own all of the routes that we use for club rides. These routes are repeated year-in-year-out and are part of club culture. As our leadership evolves, anchoring these to people will become problemtic because those routes will dissapear. I would like to be able to anchor routes to the club so that they persist with our members & remain available to folks as club members evolve.  

I would like to start a club with long distance challenges with no time limit. For example a Virtual Walk from London to Paris (344km). So when you have walked 344km you have completed the challenge.Is there anyway to do this?

 Hello, I have been using Strava on my Apple watch series 9 without any issue for about 6 months. Last saturday when I sent for run, I noticed that Strava app on my apple watch not recoding heart rate, I tried everything i.e. resetting watch/iphone. Deleteing strava app from watch/iphone and reinstalling. But nothing seems to help. I tried Workout app on my watch and it recorded hear rate. I checked all permission in Health app on Iphone and it has Allow Strava to Read heart rate ON. I checked the strava app on iphone and it has health app added, Everything worked fine before Saturday Not sure what suddenly happened? Can this be resolved as my running depends on it massivly. I tried Apple’s Workout app but I didnt like the app.Let me know if anyone needs any sort of logs to troubleshoot, will be happy to help
