When i add a photo to an old activity, if i have cropped or edited the photo in any way, it will show as my most recent picture instead of down the grid when that activity took place. If i dont crop or edit the pic then its arranged correctly to when the activity took place. It must have something to do with the timestamp of the photo or something?Is there anyway the photo ordering can be corrected for photos that have been edited?
My running group is looking to create a challenge for 2025. Our city is turning 250 years old, so the challenge would be to have participants walk, run, bike, hike, etc. 250 miles during the year. We would then enter the individuals who completed into a drawing for prizes.I think we can use Strava Challenges to do this, but I’m not entirely sure on the mechanics or if Strava Challenges would be able to handle this. Some questions:Is there a way to generate a link for a challenge? Or, can people only join by being invited? Is there a limit to the total number of people who can participate in a challenge? I know I personally can invite up to 199 people. But are there other limits we should be aware of? Do challenges track individual efforts or only group efforts? The goal is for each individual person to complete 250 miles, not the whole group to complete 250 miles. Are free subscribers able to join the challenge? I have used the description section on activities to add links to race results and race videos on youtube, and these links have all been removed from my activities, some of them dating back a few years. This means that I can no longer find some of these results that I had linked for personal reference and followers can no longer see them either.Additionally, I had my professional triathlete profile website linked in my bio section, and this has also been removed. I understand that there have been a lot of issues related to spam bots on strava, but I would appreciate if my old activities and profile weren’t meddled with without my consent and if I could return these relevant links to my activities, which no longer seems to be a supported feature.
Hello, I opened up a ticket regarding my half marathon race that is not showing up as a PR on my profile. (Request #3076831 was opened in October) My profile still shows an old race. why does this feature use standard maps? Usually it uses satellite maps. Is there a solution for this?
There’s an icon for Alpine skiing, but it doesn’t work. Uphill distance in the chairlift is included (!!) so speed is completely skewed. Also, non-sensical segments, perhaps from summer hiking or mountain biking (?) are included in stats. The alpine skiing icon should be removed from the list of sports that Strava “supports” until this is fixed! The stats make absolutely no sense for downhill skiing and they are extremely misleading until you use another app to see your real stats and then figure out what the problem is with Strava.
Hey team, It looks like I accidentally turned off the .Ai analytics feature. Is there a way to switch it back on?
I have connected Strava within the SUUNTO App, but it won’t sync my activities. It also does not show the SUUNTO as synced app somewhere in Strava, but I am not sure wether it is supposed to.

Hello, I would like to know if it is possible to modify the confidentiality of a synchronized activity (for example, the function "hide the activity from my home feed") with my Suunto Race S watch before its final publication.Unless I am mistaken, when I synchronize an activity between my Suunto watch and Strava, the activity is published automatically without me being able to intervene before on certain functionality settings. Steps to repeat:Activities are private by default. Click “Mute Activity” on either phone or web. Select “Everyone” as audience type. Click “Save”Result: People who have selected you as a “Favorite” receive notification that you uploaded an activity.Workaround: Activities are private by default Click “Mute Activity” Click “Save” Go back and select “Everyone” as audience type. Click Save again.The reason one might want to be able to mute an activity, but have it be public is that private activities do not count for challenges…. but you don't want to annoy your friends by “cluttering up the feed” with shorter, less interesting activities.
Strava is recoding my rides as e-bike rides automatically? I don't own an e-bike…. They say it's an automatic assumption and can’t be fixed? Really?
HelloThere appear to have been some updates to the route planning function with this excellent app. However now it is becoming extremely slow, “updating route” is all I see now, and it is now no longer possible to see my the heatmap with all my activities displayed while route planning. The function is now barely usable it is so slow. Please is there anyway that the route planning can return to how it was a few months ago? I am using Chrome and I have tried the route planning on two separate computers. Best regards Howard
Is it possible to change the order of challenges on the Android Strava app? I need to scroll all the way to the end of 2024 to see the current challenges.
I have had Strava for many years and the 10 year ago me can’t compete with current me. Please add a feature to allow the clearing of all past personal PRs or perhaps add a new category with annual PR. Garmin has this feature ON THE FREE ACCOUNT so it would make sense that Strava could at least do this on the paid account.
Is there anyway to separate my feed into separate groupings or tabs? I’d love to be able to have separate feeds for local friends, college friends, people I coach, etc.
Hey friends, I've been dying for an "all-time local legend" feature (i.e. number of attempts on a segment not just in the past 90 days). I'd really like to build it myself from the Strava API but I'm not sure I can extrapolate the data from what the API surfaces. I'm able to get the local legend data for a given segment, but nothing before the last 90 days. I'm wondering 2 things:- Am I missing an easy way to solve this problem?- If not, would the Strava engineering team every consider adding functionality to the API to fetch all time local legends? (Or even fetching local legends for a given time range).Any thoughts are welcome!
I have noticed on my API Settings page that there's a limit to the amount of users an app can have. I know (based on API access) that a large percentage of users installed my app, tried it out and never used it again. My question is then: how can I revoke access to these users?
I’ve recently created a new club and had two people join. I could immediately see their activities in the club feed, even though those activities existed before the creation of the club, and were unrelated to the club e.g. they weren’t club events or group activities done with club members. So for now I’ve disabled the club activity feed.Is there any way to set the privacy level for an activity to be club members and followers only? Or even choose which specific clubs it should appear in? Or alternatively, only show club group activities in the club feed?

I am in the process of integrating Strava into my application and have encountered an issue where manually added activities are successfully synced via the webhook, but GPS recorded activities are not syncing.
It seems that the Strava status page has been out of order for quite some time now. Is it under construction, or is a fix on the way..?I don't visit the page often but when I do, I appreciate the status information - to clearly see whether an issue is on my end or whether it's some hiccup on the server. With the lack of Uploads and Dashboard Latency information, it's hard to tell though.Thanks!
