Has anyone else run into this issue? It appears videos on run/bike activities (anything with a map) are showing up in feed as squares suddenly? If you click into the activity, you can still see the whole 9:16 video, but the preview in the feed seems to be cropping them to squares, which is really annoying.This was not the case a couple months ago. Not sure if the change is intentional or a bug. Thanks for the thoughts/help!Matt

Pretty much what the title says - a few days ago I noticed that using the “Correct Distance” function on the desktop app has stopped making any changes to my recorded runs. Previously when I used it I’d usually add about an average of like a fifth of a mile or so to every run (and shave off like 15 seconds in average pace lol), and I’m certain my Apple Watch hasn’t magically improved its GPS capabilities in the last few days to the point where every run is now somehow flawlessly recorded. This is of course the most first world of first world problems, but just curious as to whether anyone else has experienced this, or if Strava has changed the functionality so that it would result in this happening.

Strava fails to reproduce the actual average power (not normalised or weighted) from a ride file, and somehow provides a data result that appears to show average power INCLUDING paused time - meaning that if we stop at the top of a hill to wait for our riding buddies, Strava is counting that time as 0 watts, and feeding that into the overall ride average! If it doesn’t do that, the only explanation is that Strava does something very creative that doesn’t match anything like reality.Recently I engaged Strava support team on what is apparently an age-old issue with Strava (judging by questions on this forum), and got a garbled reply that didn’t explain what was going on.Sadly for subscribers and Strava, it renders Strava pretty useless as an accurate training tracking tool, leaving you with no choice but to go to Training Peaks or Today’s Plan (yet another expensive subscription).Have I misinterpreted the situation? Anyone with any ideas?

Like the title says, garmin says to ask strava, and nothing is working. I have real all articles and nothing is helping.

When I finished recording my run, I clicked stop recording then finished after that I wanted to save the run recording but I couldn't because when I wanted to save it, the recording kept loading so I couldn't click on it, I had to wait a few minutes before I could save it.

Issue:While creating club events for the next few weeks of runs, I noticed that I can no longer access all of my Routes from the dropdown menu in the “Create a Club Event” window. It appears to show only the most recent ~20 routes. This is a new bug since at most 6 weeks ago, as that was the last time I queued-up a bunch of runs for my club (and I didn’t have this problem when I made those club events). Useful info:-This happens in desktop mode, not in the app (I use Android).-As a temporary workaround, I am making my events in desktop mode and then editing them in the app to include the correct Route, but this takes about double the time that it normally would and can become frustrating.-I went through all of my routes and “starred” only the ones I use for my club, hoping that the dropdown menu would use only the “starred” routes. But that did not seem to solve the problem. Bonus Suggestion:Is there a way to make the “Route” field have a search function (keyword search for all routes

Hi Strava Team,I've been experiencing this issue for quite a while and finally decided to reach out.My home feed only ever shows about 150–180 of the most recent activities, rather than allowing for true infinite scroll. As a result, I often miss my friends' updates if I don’t check Strava multiple times a day. I follow around 470 people, all real-life friends and many of them active athletes. Recently I've stopped following new friends just to keep my feed manageable.Is this feed limitation intentional? If so, it feels like a barrier for users like me who value Strava as a social platform for staying connected through activity. I’d love to hear your thoughts. Thanks. 

When creating a club event, the corresponding form field where you could choose the organizer via drop down menu is missing in both browser version and app. Please fix this major bug ASAP.

I went for a run and saved it on my Android phone. I tried to upload it but it keeps getting stuck at saving. I dont want to lose my progress so I would really appreciate some help. Thanks in advance.

I have accepted the One time Code option on my smartphone, but this totally messes up my login on a browser on my Mac! I use a password manager, so email/password for me is working fine, but not at STRAVA, where they stubbornly want me to enter a one time code EVERY TIME!!! I use STRAVA regularly on my browser, as this is a lot easier to work on maps and routes.I hope this super enoying “feature” will resiolved fast. I checked some of the responses, but I am not interested in using my Google or Facebook account.  

Dear Strava, I would again like to request that you add the climb categorisation filter back to the segment explorer/maps interface. The new interace is really awful for discovering climbs, and I am at the point of now using other software to plan my routes. Please change it so we can select category, 4, 3, 2, 1 and HC segments, because it is absolutely vital for route planning for many people, particularly for those living in/visiting mountainous areas. I really cannot understand why you would remove such a basic and useful filter for segments. Thank you.

Hi everyone,I uploaded a cycling activity to Strava using a GPX file exported from Komoot.In Strava’s elevation profile, the segment between 5 km and 20 km appears completely flat (0 m), even though both Komoot and GPX.Studio show a clear climb reaching 130 m in that section.I also couldn’t find the “Correct Elevation” option in the activity menu, and Strava Support couldn’t resolve the issue.Has anyone experienced something similar? Why isn’t there a downhill mountain bike mode yet? We have the tech to decide when someone has been driving but can’t seem to figure out a way to auto pause an activity when they’re driving or on a chairlift? This drives me crazy

When I share my Zwift rides on X or Facebook, I only get the option of 3 different maps, rather than the in-game screenshots which were available previously and which I’ve used in the past. I haven’t changed any settings (as far as I know) so can anyone walk me through how to get this option back please?Thanks in advance. 

In areas such as:Heatmaps My ActivitiesI would like to be able to multi-select activities to see, for example, all run, trail run, hike, walk, snowshoe. Another option would be to allow people to select all foot, bike, snow, water, etc. categories. I think multi-select is the best option because it gives the most flexibility. 

Can we please add a feature that automatically deducts the distance and elevation from your ride when taking a chairlift or shuttle? I realize this may be difficult for shuttling in particular, but the chairlift lines are already showing on Strava, so you should be able to deduct that from your ride. My partner and I are doing a yearly cycling distance challenge, and to keep things legit I have been starting a new activity at the top of the chair and stopping it at the bottom so that the distance rode on the chair isn't included, but it would obviously be much nicer to just start the activity in the morning and stop it when we are done riding and have Strava figure out the non riding sections.

As a longtime fan and frequent user of Strava, I really value the platform and appreciate the continued development. That said, I was surprised by the recent UI changes for subscriber profiles, and I wanted to share my concerns. Orange Gradient on Subscriber Profiles The orange gradient at the top of profiles makes interface elements harder to see—particularly the icons in the top right. The dominant orange color inevitably clashes with user-generated photos in the carousel. The gradient darkens into a muddy brown at the top, which further disrupts visual harmony. A clean, neutral background would better support photo-focused content.   New Shield-Shaped Profile Photos The switch from circular to shield-shaped profile pictures for subscribers feels like an unnecessarily bold change. I've noticed recently that on some segments there are some athletes that have two efforts shown, from different years (one example looks like this:  1.A in 2021  2.B in 2021  3.B in 2020  4.A in 2020 ...  9.C in 2021  10.D  11.C in 2018). The rides are not marked different (ride/mtb ride) and the profiles are the same (same url).Anyone knows what this is about?

I’m reaching out because I’m experiencing an issue with the app. After completing my run, I tried to download the transparent photo to share it, but it just keeps loading and never finishes. The image doesn’t appear, and I’m unable to save or share it.I’ve already tried restarting the app and checking my internet connection, but the issue persists.Could you please look into this or let me know if there’s a fix? I’d love to be able to share my run using that feature.Thank you in advance for your help!

Why can't I have the ability to block an individual from seeing my activities without them knowing? I think this should be added when you upload a workout and enable me to block individuals too. 

How can I include my power meter info on my velomobile ride?  It is available on a "ride", but not on a velomobile ride.Thanks for your help!

Hi there. I’ve just noticed that routes on the Android app now have filters for saved routes which is excellent and very welcome. I am only able to see 20 results from a filter search however and they are listed in the order that i created them, most recent first. I can also no longer see a full list of my routes if I have applied no filters, only 20, most recently created first.  Although I am very satisfied with the new filters, I feel that only being able to see 20 results at a time is very limiting. I would rather have a full list of routes with no filters than only being able to see 20. I have unistalled/reinstalled the app and logged out/logged in again.
