There might be a bug in the personal heatmap in iOS app. Basically all my mountain bike rides this year are not displayed on the personal heatmap in iOS app (ski activities are displayed though), and all these missing records are correctly displayed on the  personal heatmap from the the website.So I think there might be some inconsistency in between app's and website's personal heatmap. Does the sport type filter "Rides" in iOS app only filter "Ride" activities but not "MountainbikeRide" activities?

 

I reecently had to reset my Fossil Watch Gen 5 and then discovered that Stava is no longer available in the App store for Wear OS 2. Forced into buying a new watch.. Fossil Gen 6, with Wear OS 3 I am having trouble with Strava unable to get a GPS lock. Can anyone offer advice. Previosuly, if I had Strava open on my phone and it had a GPS lock then the app on my watch would as well. Now the app on my phone has a GPS lock but Strava on my watch just keeps saying it is trying to get a GPS fix. If I start an activity on my phone and watch at the same time, it takes about 5 minutes for the watch to get a lock. I assume it is only getting GPS location from the watch and not from the phone. In 'Location' on the watch, 'Use Location' is on and says 'get location from phone and watch'. Strava and the Fossil app have location permissions enabled on both the phone and the watch. Been using the API for a while now, and trying to mock it using the examples provided in the specification ran into some failures:At /athlete/activities the returned upload_id through SummaryActivity has type long. Yet, the response example uses a 987654321234567891234 value, which is higher than the max int64.There are some fields such as resource_state, max_heartrate or location_city that don't comply with the SummaryActivity definition.The components aren't sorted alphabetically, which makes navigating through the documentation site a bit difficult.

I did exactly the same commuting ride as I did quite a few times this year, but now the Matched Rides feature is not showing up. Previously it popped up instantly.

Hi I did a race two days ago and saved it successfully from my garmin watch to iPhone.  Wesham 10k.  Had kudus from fellow club runners and comments.  So know it was absolutely saved and on Strava.  Yet the following day it just seems to have vanished yet I can see it listed on my run history. When I press on it in run history a red bar appears indicating a problem in system.  By the way  I definitely have not deleted the activity.  Have emailed into Strava support but heard nothing and no sign of the activity.  So sure it’s a glitch on my Strava.  Concerned as my activity seems to be lost in space ! I have paid a subscription to Strava.   My worry is if this happens again…  Love my running love Strava is there anything I can do ? 

 I ran 18 miles (though I suspect it was actually 17). You can see that my pace on mile 3 & 4 are significantly faster, at 7:33 and 8:36, when it should be roughly 12 minutes per mile. It also added a full mile - the trail I run uses trail markers, and Strava was saying I was at mile 3 when I passed the 2 mile marker. I ran out to the 8 mile marker and back, only to find myself at a little over 17 miles??? (I ran a little extra to hit 18 miles). i don’t want to delete an 18 mile run like this, but this has essentially ruined my PRs and any chance for me to get one. I feel like a fraud leaving it up. Can someone fix this?

I do both running activity and cycling activity. Sometimes my main activity is cycling such as in 2022, and sometimes my main activity is running such as in 2023 and 2024, however, the fitness score have big difference, which confused me. I've been using the Strava App on my Pixel Watch since January this year.In the last 6-8 weeks, most times when I go to start an activity (either cycling or running), the GPS takes longer than previous to connect and then when it does and I hit 'start', the app regularly crashes and takes me back to the "home" page where you select an activity.  Sometimes it does this a couple of times and once I actually get an activity to start, it often then records this as a generic "workut" rather than the activity I have selected.I thought the cause of this was a faulty device as I replaced my Pixel Watch under warranty at the same time (the battery died on the old one), but I've since had the replacement replaced and noticed the same problem this morning when starting a run so now I'm not sure if its the watch, or maybe the Strava app itself as it only seems to have started happening since October - but the fact its now occurred on two seperate devices makes me think the timing was a coinci

I recorded a run today on my Garmin watch and synced it to Strava but I cannot see it on my mobile app. I received a notification on my mobile that it's synced (and it's still there in the notifications), but when I try to access it I see a red note that 'something went wrong'. The run is not visible in the activity feed nor in my activities on mobile app. Yet I can see it in the 'Training Log' on mobile app.Strangely, everything is fine on the desktop version of Strava.Any ideas how to fix it? I already synced Strava with my Apple Watch and I still can’t connect with its Heart Rate Monitor. 

Please make this link work instead of routing to a useless chatbot, it seems the only way to submit a report is via email now which you only discover by arguing with the chatbot for a bit 

I don't know if anybody else is having a similar experience, but since the update and implementation of the new version of Routes in Strava, I can barely find any routes of any distance from my physical location, whereas pre-update, I could literally find a boat load of routes of any distance. (activity is running)Even the functionality is worse with how you set the length of the route to search for. Seriously debating not renewing my subscription because of this.Hopefully someone tells me I'm missing something!

1. Given that segments populate the map based on the number of users who have "starred" it, what is the threshold value in order for a segment to show up?2. Also, why is this not based on the number of activities recorded along the segment over X number of days/weeks/months?I had to dig to find out how STRAVA quantified "popularity" regarding segments, so perhaps a bulletin or article to inform the broader user base on the how/why certain segments show up in their map.

For about a week now Strava has been taking about 1:30 to even load the app all the way on my Pixel 6a. After a couple taps on the screen then you have to wait another 1:30 for the next screen. I only use mobile data. Before everything was fine. I've tried clearing the cache, reinstalling the app and even going back an older version. When installing the app it takes forever to install. I've tried various permission settings with the same result. Updated the Android to the latest version. If I log out of the app it goes to a blank gray screen but disabling the 5G internet, Strava login screen pops up and have to renable the 5g and then log back in waiting another 1:30 for everything to load. I've connected my device to another mobile phone with the same result. 

Today under  following tab the activities of those athletes are no longer listed by recent date. The dates are completely random making it almost impossible to acknowledge their efforts with kudos. Many of them participate in multiple activities per day and I've been scrolling endlessly to find everyone.It was working fine the morning of 5-28-2024 however, by the evening was a scrambled mess. If this is a new feature it's a nightmare. I can't find their daily activities by club due to the amount of members. Please acknowledge.

Developers! This is the kind of spam I ended up having to pay for an account for so I wasn't constantly bombarded with internal ads. Now I have them to my paid for account. It's unacceptable. Can anyone advise how to turn this spam off in the app? I cannot find it. Is it possible with a REST request or similar via your API?I have no requirement for anything like this. My alternative is to turn off notifications from Strava completely.

Wanted to create a monthly leaderboard for my run club but yall lackin . Does not return the date or no information about the time frame of activities pulled from the recent activities endpoint. I would think that it would be useful if it could atleast pull reference date set of club activities i.e. for a particular month or two weeks minimum rather than set number of days.It is a problem to even use the monthly challenges because I have to manually invite all my club members to the challenge and there is no provision for an invite link.

Can we have an option to turn off activity name display? Aesthetically, would also be nice if it's displayed lower than presently. In the example below, having the text sit above Run (can even be all caps and slightly bold would look much better.

This app has exceeded the limit of connected athletes. It consists of a challenge, where athletes cycle in favor of RS. Each km driven can be "Purchased" by a donor for R$10.00.The application is 100% functional. However, Strava has limited us to 6k daily requests, which is hindering people who are live cycling on a roller. Could anyone "Lend" a set of API keys to complete this challenge? I'm trying to find segments that match with my trainings, but it is not possible to filter then by distance/grade. There is only a category filter, and doesn't help so much
