Hey,During the Auth process, we are requesting (amongst others) the scope activity:write. Is there a way to determine if the user deselected (or indeed kept selected) this permission during the Auth Process? Either in the response back from in the auth process, or, at a later date with a separate API request? At present, the only way I can see how to determine it is to try to write and catch the Unauthorised Error (a pretty ugly way to do it!). Thanks

This been a request over many years and controversial, in a group riders can go faster and take turns to push the pace as solo riders have only themselves and their bikes.Here is the complication is it a Solo KOM when a group breaks the KOM on a timeline !!The slowest rider of the Group uploads their ride and sets a new Time and sets the KOM(Solo), half an hour later other riders upload theirs and get the KOM(group) as there is more than one rider, as riders upload, the KOM time may change as I have seen this happen and number of people get the KOM on their activity achievements. I occasionally get the following notification, not consistently but it seems to appear sometimes when I record a workout on my Apple Watch (in the native workout app) without my phone, or if my phone/watch are on airplane mode without internet access:If I click on the notification, I am taken to a screen like this in the Strava app:From here, I can just tap Import to pull the missing workouts into the Strava app and it works fine. However, the notification doesn’t always appear, and I cannot find any way to access this page directly within the app. Is there a simple workaround, or am I missing the way to access this page? I’ve looked everywhere and it does not seem to be in the app unless I click directly through the notification.

hello all, I am writing because I got a new phone and am unable to log back into strava. The thing is, I am using the email that I used to sign up back in 2022. Now, every time, it says that there is an error which is implying that my old account does not exist and won't send my current inbox the email that is supposed to be sent when I use Forgot password. However, I still receive emails saying I got Kudos or comments on my account in the SAME INBOX as my email I used to originally sign up so it definitely exists. What do I do, my original account is Jack Tutun with a kid running on a track as the profile picture. 

I have an old activity I want too move to Strava. In GARMIN Connect the one option I see is for a CSV file transfer. How can I covert that to a file Strava will read?

I have a new user connected to my app two days ago. Out of the sudden I am reciving batches and batches of webhook events for activities updates. The updates are: {"visibility":"everyone"}Activities to be updated are from 2014, 2015, 2016 and so on. I have asked the user how she did it. And she says she have changed the account visibility about 2 weeks ago.So my question is are those events are still coming from that change 2 weeks ago (before connecting to my app) or there is some other logic behind such webhooks behavior? 

When going on long bike rides I'm getting a huge difference between the calories burnt on strava and calories burnt on my myzone heart rate strap. Today I rode for 3 hours and strava is saying I burnt 520 calories! Where as my HR strap says 3.5k which is more believable as it was an extremely hard ride. 249 relative effort. My chest strap links to my garmin 520 which shows my HR on there and strava takes that HR on the activity but for some reason not the calories. Any help please? Thanks

Hello, the Strava map editor is getting better and better. Good work!Still one thing that grinds my gears. Can you please add the possibility to use the "Manual mode", (ie. no routing) in-between waypoints? As it is now the feature it only seems to work on the last waypoint (or am I doing it wrong?) .This makes it impossible to edit routes where there are no routeble tracks (eg using the heatmap as a source for the way).Now I have to either redraw the entire route from scratch or export gpx, upload and use another service, and then upload to strava again. Very tiresome.

I have encountered a problem when running with my apple watch. The pace time per kilometer is way slower than if I would track the time with my phone. Also I have a Strava Subscription and I feel like when tracking with my apple watch it also tracks the average pace and not each kilometer on its own. Does any one know hpw ti fix this 

When I go to my profile to set my “Default Sport” under “Display Preferences” it only gives me 2 choices Running or Cycling. I like to Hike as well as walk but these are not options. Seems a bit absurd to me…Am I missing something? If forces me to go into each work out after complete and change to walking.

Hi everyone,unfortunately Strava has ended the support for older smart watches with Wear OS 2.xx.(Older? Hm... almost all smart watches except the new Samsung watches 😖)I am using a Mobvoi Ticwatch Pro 3 GPS with wearOs 2.38 but the strava has still worked fine.But I had to reset my watch because of a new cell phone.Now I want to re-install also the strava app on my watch but I can't get the old strava app in the play store and I don't know any other source where I can download the installation-file.I am very disappointed. Idea: Add the year to the date headings on the Training Log, so instead of "JUL 17 - 23" it says "JUL 17 - 23, 2023". Currently, the only way to know what year you're looking at on mobile is to click into an activity and then go back.

I've noticed that activities returned by the Get Activities endpoint have short laps removed. This also appears when viewing the activity on Strava itself, suggesting Strava may be applying some sort of processing.For context, I keep autolap (1mi) on my watch when running on a track. If autolap beeps before I cross the line, I hit the lap button again as I cross the line, then add the two times for the full mile time. Hello!Since a while ago, as indicated from support, Strava allows to show the steps taken in walking or hiking activities https://support.strava.com/hc/es-es/articles/13772272971533-Pasos-en-Strava.This is limited only to some devices, but it could be extended if it would be allowed to obtain the steps data from the TCX file generated by many devices.As you can see in this image https://i.imgur.com/WuLPip9.png, the steps data are contained in the <Steps> tag, inside the Extensions.LX and <Lap> structure.As Strava already displays the calorie data, it will not be too complicated to access the step data in the TCX file to display it.If this is supported, it would extend the compatibility of the step count with more devices.

Hi guys it's great to be here. I started walking Sunday . It recorded my whole walk . I wasn't a paid member then . Then the day after it recorded 3min of an 36 min walk , and the same today . It's also not  showing beginning and end , Evan though I have changed in settings. Also today it recorded 3min again . Then on another map the whole walk. Iv paid for the monthly subscription, I'm sure last year it was free and you could record the whole activity. Help please 🥺

Since early March importing a swim from a tcx file gives errors. The time and heart rate come through, but not the distance (says it is 0m). It does seem to have it under the individual laps. I cannot see how to edit it, and if I create a manual entry instead, all the lap data is lost. Is this a known error? How can I fix it?

I was a bit too fast re-activating my subscription. It's now linked to my old account (the one I'm logged on with here). I need to move it to my active account. How can I do this?
