My wife’s Samsung watch 5 has stopped syncing the full distance recorded on the watch.she uses the Strava app and can complete 8km but when syncing it records as 4.25km or another random distance. has anyone had this problem? Any ideas how to get the activities to record properly 

I'm a Galaxy watch 4 user and I've seen some posts like this one that confirm that the strava beacon feature can be used in wear os like the apple watch does: "Wear OS 3 and higher devices without LTE functionality will need to be connected to your phone in order to send a Beacon message when starting an activity from the Wear OS Strava app." And in the the watch app I can't find any option to enable it. Hello, I have been using Strava all ok for past 3 days and suddenly my map for todays ride is gone 😭, can anyone help me with settings and can the map be retrieved? All other stats are there. thanks ! 🤞

Hi there, Somehow I can't seem to add the Samsung galaxy watch 4 classic to my Strava account on the phone. I have downloaded them both but I am unable to sync them properly. The weird thing is, it is somehow connected to my account because I can record runs from the watch and it will be uploaded to the Strava account, but when I start a run from the phone it doesnt record anything from the watch like my heart BPM.  As far as I know I have given permission in the settings to both devices.  I also tried following the sync procedure on the app on the phone and it eventually gives me a 4 number digit to enter, however there seems to be no option on the watch to put these numbers in to make them sync.. Any advice?

As I understand it, most (all)? watch support assumes you want to track your run with your watch and then sync it to strava afterwards.However, what I'd like to do is continue to use the strava app to track the run (in part so I get the audio cues every kilometer), but be able to start the run from my watch and have things like heartrate synced.Is this possible with any watches?

My workouts are synchronized between the iwatch and the app, I see them in my iwatch but not in my phone app. I have tried to troubleshoot without success. Thanks

Has anyone else had this problem. I recently swapped Garmin devices (screen broke on Edge 1030) so for subsequent rides, I have used an Edge 820 Garmin model. I have noticed that previous Strava activities have now duplicated the rides, one showing recorded with the 1030 which is correct and a duplicate activity (same data) but showing recorded with the 820 (which I hadn’t started using). These duplicates have gone back several months. Does anyone know why this has happened and also is there an easier way (than going through each activities) and deleting the duplicate?

Hi,  I just started using Strava a couple days ago and am having a heck of a time learning it. There's is very limited info available that isn't less than 3 years old, and the interface has changed a *lot*.  Connected apps on my S21: Watch5, Samsung Health, MyFitnessPal, Strava.  Is it possible to get my BPM on the Strava app screen when I mountain bike?    

  my distance and pace for some reason isn’t being tracked during the activity. However, when I save the activity leading it to post the run, it then shows the distance I ran and pace I was running at (rest of data). Can someone please help me why my data won’t show during my run it’s really annoying.

When I try to view a route, the app is showing segments on the map.  There are so many segments that the route isn’t even visible.  Is there a way to hide segments on the route map?  

Hi I did a ride today and I have no segments or maps. I have all the other data. When I look in Training Peaks the map is there so the GPS was recorded. Any ideas? Thanks in advance 

I’m having a trouble on my strava right now, some of my running activities data not showing of in the activities section

Gravel heatmap it is not working properly. IMO it shows only gravel rides sets as a RACE. Why?I live in gravel area, but on heatmap is shows only routes of two local gravel races. 

Good morning everybody,I create a lot of tracks for my weekend runs, and since I started using Strava for that I started to notice that it was becoming increasingly difficult, to the point where I stopped using it. At the moment I use it to save tracks from friends of mine on Strava, which I save to run there later. I started to notice that when running on these tracks saved on Strava, there were routes that didn't make sense.In the example below we have:Red is the original route where I downloaded the gpx direction to my computer.Blue is the route I saved on Strava, in My Routes and later downloaded to my computer.It doesn't make sense for these changes to exist, as I didn't even edit the route, I just saved it.Is there a solution for this?Thanks

When I record an activity such as a workout or a yoga session, the Strava timer doesn’t seem to work properly — a 55 minute aerobics session was logged as being 7 mins long. A 45 min yoga session was logged as being 26 mins long. My device is an iPhone 14 and I’m using the latest version of the Strava app — 351.0.0 — which was rolled out two days back.I’ve been facing this issue for a week now. Can someone please explain why there’s a glitch?

Hi any help as to why my mii band 7 is missing distance when syncing with Strava from the mii fit app.  The full GPS route is there but the distance is being shortened when sending from miifit in km and showing in Strava in miles.  

I'm using the free version of Strava now. In a browser, when I click on a segment in an activity, I only get to view All-Time, Men, Women. See screenshot. My husband, who also is in the free version of Strava and in a browser, sees "overall." How do I fix mine to see "overall" also?

I like to cycle alone quite a bit and try to utilise the routes section.is there anyway to amend the distance? I hate it jumps from 30 to 50 to 80 and no in between.Also it only shows 3 routes, is there anyway to get more recommendations on the app as most being recommended I have completed.first post so be gentle haha 

My activities from this morning will not sync to my Strava app on my iPhone. I have restarted my phone and my watch, but nothing has worked. I’ve also added an extra activity to see if that would push through the previous two activities that would not sync. Again that did not work. Can you please help?

What have you done to Heatmaps?  I do not care about businesses, or where other people have run, walked, or biked, and the new color selection interface does not allow basemap changes from the same interface (as it should).  Also, as I zoom out, the once-useful aggregation of workouts (showing a circle and number at scales where the actual paths get tiny and useless) is now gone.  Writing this as a cartographer, recent changes are not an improvement.  Is there a way to recover the old display mode?

Hello, one of my favourite functions in strava is to navigate with the perfect maps in combination with heatmaps. So I have an idea if a trail is practicable or not. When I can also see my personal heatmap I can see if the trail brings me to my familar tracks. For this procedure there is not a practical funktion in strava but to go to the "maps" funcion and go to segments or routes. Unfortunatly the map then is confusing due to the suggested routes or segments, which I do not need in my mentioned case. And the display is not shown fully in this feature. Is there a solution or funcion I do not know?

My application is parsing workout datapoints and I want to make it easier for the users by fetching the input files automatically from strava workouts.The export_original and export_tcx paths don't exist on api/v3/activities. Should I be able to access the web endpoints with the access token I get from authenticating the user in my app? ok, I’ll try this again. In my previous post I erroneously used the term BaseMap instead of FATMAP. SO…I downloaded FATMAP, but never got confirmation that it was linked to my Strava Premium. A couple of days later I deleted FATMAP and reinstalled. Now when I try to link the accounts, I get an error message stating that there is already a FATMAP account linked to my Strava. I can’t get past this point and therefore I have no way to download BaseMap routes to my account.My ultimate goal is to have the routes on my Garmin Edge 840, so if there is a workaround, I would welcome that as well. I did reach out to the Strava help desk. They replied asking me what my email was and then went radio silent to my further replies. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
