Hi, since a couple of months you can sync power meters on the bike to iOS eg Apple Watch. I’m planning to buy power meter pedals and record my power via the Apple Fitness app. Does Strava auto import the power and cadence data once the cycling workout is finished? I read in the DC rainmaker review that this wasn’t the case in July 2023 during the beta runs. for the curious; I’m not planning to get a bike computer as I see my phone as a better all rounder for the things I’m doing on a bike.

I have spent way too many hours trying to determine if I can use a Bearer Token to retrieve my own data.  I'm know that I need to have the activity:read or activity:read_all permission to get that data.  However, I have not found any way either grant that permission to my account.Is my only choice to implement the full Oauth authorization workflow and then keep track of the return tokens?Thanks-marc

I was trying to upload my 10 mile run from my Apple Watch like normal (importing it) and it just got stuck at "processing activity". I left it overnight and it just disappeared but didn't process. I don't know how to make the run show up on my feed. 

Hi all, I have a Samsung S21 Ultra and a Samsung Glaaxy Watch 5 Pro. I'm trying to understand when Strava should be capturing my heart rate info when tracking a run.Tracking via Galaxy Watch 5 Pro ⌚️ : when I trigger my excercise recording via the Strava app on my watch, I seem to get heart rate data just fine - the problem I have right now though is that anything I track on my watch isn't visible on the Strava mobile app - apparently this is a know bug? Dear community,a few months ago i started with running and am using my iphone (14) with strava app to track my effort.Some trainings, my wife runs directly next to me and she uses her Apple Watch SE to track her data. We are wondering, why the strava app of my iPhone tracks more distance than her Watch.Yesterday i did a training session with 8,45 km distance but her watch tracked just 8,09 km. We started together and were running next to each other all the time. The complete training session was outdoor, with good gps connection.Did anybody else also faces this issue and can help, which device could be correct? 🙂Thanks for your help.

I accidentally split my run in two halves and I would like to replace my two runs with the run of someone I was running with (who recorded the whole thing in one fell swoop). Is that possible?

Recently, I am not getting any fitness points for trainer rides.  My relative effort and heart rate are as high as running activities where I've gotten +2. My power meter doesn't seem to be reading consistently, so my avg power is low.  How do I fix this?

Hello, I have a problem with unsynced activity showing in my app. Cant sync it, cant delete it. Please help. Pics attached.              

HiI've just had an attempt at a KOM and got 5th. It doesn't appear on the all time leaderboard, 5th place isn't shown on the list. Is it still updating or something? The time shows on my own efforts, but not anywhere else. All privacy controls are off, check map visibility etc.https://www.strava.com/segments/1491651Any ideas?

I noticed a 44-minute activity recorded on Strava shows up as a 3-hour activity on my iPhone's fitness app. I suspect it might be due to the Strava API sending out an incorrect "end time." I noticed that the fitness app displays the recording time, both the start and end. It shows the end time of the activity as the time when the activity was "finished" or "saved" on Strava, and not when Strava identifies as the end of the activity, correctly classifying the rest of time as wait or a period of inactivity on the app.It could also be implemented incorrectly on the Fitness team's side, but I thought it would be best to do it here as well.

All sports selected.I dont see the tracks of some water sports (Sup, Kajak), but other shown (Kite, Windsurf)The strange thing is that tagged photos from SUP sessions are shown. But not gps track.

2 weeks ago with no warning or way of changing it my runs on Strava stopped showing calories and started showing average power ( which I don’t understand what that means or what relevance it has to my run ). I appreciate the calories on Strava are an estimate. Does anyone know how to configure what is visible ? Even when I click on the activity, calories are still missing. I haven’t changed anything on my Strava, I pay a subscription. Any advice appreciated. Thanks 🙂

Hello,I'm trying to integrate Strava with Salesforce, and my issue is that my auth. provider in SF is giving meCallback URLhttps://***********.com/services/authcallback/stravaand as you know strava is only allowing "This field must be just a domain, no slashes or paths". How can i solve this issue? 

i tried it by creating a Webhook using a python script but it was unable to verify the callback url for the webhook.. I've gotten the webhook working through Zapier for the purpose of the app, but I'm worried that when I apply to have the app recognised by strava so more people can join it that they wont accept it if it doesn't use a coded in webhook..  

Most of the time when I use Strava for outdoor rowing, only say the first 10 minutes or less of a recording is saved. I've checked every setting I can think of, but whatever I do, tracking my rowing stops. Geolocations are recorded is very accurate, as long as it lasts. I have the problem that my segments and heartrate are suddenly not showing on my PC even though they do on my Apple iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch 7 (which I use to record my activities). My PC shows the overall route, time, weather etc but I see a blue circle on heartrate and segments whenever I try to enter the Analysis on the PC. I can see these completely on the Apple appliances. This problem started about two weeks ago.I have reinstalled Strava on all my Apple Appliances without luck. My date of birth is correctly entered. iOS on all devices is up to date, as is Windows on my PC.My guess is that the PC is somehow not allowed to access all data, but it is a guess. Can you help, please.Also, as a note, this post seems to show I am located on Mt Kenya, which is sadly not the case. No clue if this is related.  

Twice in the past few months Strava Beacon has suddenly stopped reporting my location to my wife.  I use a Garmin 810 to record my rides.  It appeared normal during my rides but when I downloaded to Strava it did not show the last 14 miles of my ride.  Is this a Beacon problem or a Garmin problem?  Garmin Connect also does not show the final 14 miles.  Makes my wife very concerned.

Just wondering why my run pace was 6:55 yet the route/segments of the run all had paces above this? Have attached some photos for reference. More curious than anything.     

Why isn't it possible to cancel auto renewal?  I have just discovered that I have signed up for another year when my intention was not to and I was expecting to be advised my subs were coming up for renewal.  Instead it happened automatically and I didn't even receive a receipt as notice this has occurred. 

 can someone explain why my monthly goal numbers show 1 hr and 16.4 miles, when the actual numbers, right below it, are 8:40 hrs and 100 miles? Screen shot above.  I am a subscriber. Everything is cycling although some may be trainer or set as MTB etc if that matters. Thanks
