Is it possible to connect the bike to work mobile app to Strava? The idea would be, that participants to the bike to work Challenge in May and June could transfer their Strava data to the bike to work mobile app to avoid having to enter routes manually on the bike to work mobile app. This would involve only rides marked as ‘commute’. If so, how should the developers of the bike to work mobile app proceed?

Hello - My ticket number is #3034516.  I have not heard back from support and am looking for some help.  I purchased a subscription (and have had my credit card charged), but it is not showing up on my main strava account.  I think it has something to do with using apple pay and the e-mail on my apple pay is an old strava account.  Any help would be great!

Hi - I see a lot of folk having the same issue:I have two 100% valid email addresses, I use them all the time - one is work, the other is personal. I want to change strava default from one to the other...So, I go through the usual bog-standard method on either PC or mobile app. I change from personal (which has been working for years), to my work email. This worked fine. But after a few days I decided to change back to personal. This fails every time, same error message “something went wrong, please try again”I know about the verify codes/spam folders etc. I’m a long-time paid supporter. I know about not being signed in on multiple devices/accounts. I understand all that usual crap, logging in and out of accounts.I suspect this is a bug, that prevents reusing a previously used address, or simply a flawed system overall. I desperation I sent a ticket, and (having just now tried again) managed to change the email successfully this time. My videos recorded on the phone show up in a very good quality. Meanwhile, those from the Hero Black 13 Camera have traces of high compression, they are really bad. Do you have any way to improve this?

I have read all the manuals. I have tried everything, however my edge 1040 does not show automatically strava live segments I have starred on when I approach to them. GPS issue? I don´t think so. Live segments does not run when I am on a course? It is not the problem. I don’t follow courses. I have done all is indicated on strava web and garmin connect web, but no solution yet. Any help?

I'm a premium subscriber. It's weird to me that I can only see Total time, distance and current speed on the dashboard while recording. Is it possible to show other live metrics like Avg and max speeds, and heart rate and stuff?

Hello all, recently I been receiving a server error when trying to post my activity in my clubs. I am able to post to about 2 or 3 groups, after that I am unable to do so. I also did a double run but struggling to post my second run in any group. 

Hi - my recently bought Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 has issues finding the GPS when I open it pre-run.I've tried resetting the watch completely, giving all permissions to the Strava app, rebooting, clearing the cache, force stop etc, but go through periods of 'error preparing exercise, please try again' on the GPS fix screen when trying to start a run.Sometimes it does work, then other times not despite locations not varying. Not sure if this is a hardware issue but checking to see if others have the same issue...

Hi allI have a issue when I'm creating a trail running route. I have built various routes in the past, so not an entire newbie. I have been struggling lately with trail running routes. I use the global heat maps, I know the area, I know its been used often, but as soon as I start building, the "builder" simply refuses to use the heat map route, and uses other routes instead, taking me on an entire different route. Besides going manual, is there another way of "forcing" the builder to use the heat map?

I appreciate that this has been reported numerous times over the past few years. The answer for the past 2 years has always been “We have passed this onto the relevant developers”. But looking at the “KNOWN ISSUES” there is nothing I can find when searching for “Google” or “Google Fit”.Issue 1I can confirm that the bug is still exactly as earlier reported. Activities do not sync with Google Fit until you edit them and then they do sync. Can you clarify whether there is still an open issue for this? How do I turn Athlete Intelligence back on?

I'm trying to figure out where the surface type data comes from for Strava. I know some of it comes from OSM(OpenStreetMaps) and that's referenced here - https://support.strava.com/hc/en-us/articles/8471952550669-Route-Terrain, but there seems to be other data being sourced as well.  Old Ferry Rd and Groveland St both show as being paved roads, which is accurate.  When I go to look at Groveland St in OSM there is a surface tag saying that it's asphalt, so that makes sense.But... When I look at Old Ferry Rd, there is no surface tag present.. So how does Strava know that this road is paved??? 

Yesterday I went for a run, 10k.Usually when a save the activity on my Garmin Forerunner 255 in less than a minute I’ll be able to see it on Strava.Yesterday the activity was normally visibile in Garmin Connect, but isn’t uploaded to Strava yet

Hello,A while ago my audio notifications stopped working and i don't know why. I've already tried to adjust the following settings:- apps authorization;- uninstalled the app and restarted the phone - reinstall the app- tried and connect with my headphones - adjusted the text to speech settings and the language I have a nothing 3a. I hope that there is a solution other than having to do a factory reset.

For almost 2 months I’ve not been able to create a route on any of my Windows 11 browsers. I deleted cookies, cleared caches and I even set up a new windows user account just for the purpose of using a new browser (with no extension) but all to no avail. Nothing happens anymore when I enter the ‘start’ and ‘end’ postcodes.I’m a paid subscriber but It’s as if Strava no longer recognizes me as a paid subscriber halfway through the subscription.Any advice please?

Recently, the Strava interface changed on the ride screen on my iPhone and now there is a giant “pause” button taking up a good amount of space at the bottom of my screen.  This is bad design. Not only is it taking up unnecessary screen space, the big button can be easily tapped by accident. My last two rides, I have had lots of miles not get properly recorded because I inadvertently had tapped the pause button without knowing it.   And of course, when you click resume and you’re in a different location, then you get those straight lines and not the GPS tracks.   This is just bad design.   Strava Team, if you are reading this, please do something to correct it.  Thank you.   

I seem to be getting a lot of new followers lately who don’t have any followers and don’t seem to be active on Strava. What is this about and is there any way for Strava to catch and limit this? Thanks!

So i have an issue, i recently got a new app to track my strength training workouts. Before i just used strava to log a workout. And then noted the weight on a piece of paper.This new app automatically exports all of the data to apple health, and it works great. The problem i have now is that strava dosent let me import it.Strava works just fine to import something like a run from apple watch, but when importing the strength training from this app it dosent even show up in the list, of available imports in Strava.  Is there anyway to make this work, without going through a third party app like Rungap, which also sees the strength training exercise.

I’ve just noticed that if I cycle to work (and mark it as a commute as a result), I can no longer see how many calories I’ve burnt. Instead calories gets replaced with CO2 saved.I mean, that’s great, I don’t mind seeing that, but why hide my calories? That’s literally why I record my bike trips, so I can add the calories burnt to MyFitnessPal. You have the data, just show it! Sure, I know roughly how many kCal my usual route takes - but I don’t always go the same route!
