How to upload my activities gym / swimming from huawei health to strava? Because just only walking, riding dan running are can synchronize with strava. 

Good morning, I am contacting you to request a refund regarding an annual Strava subscription that was automatically renewed. A month ago, my friend Marin offered me to take advantage of the free one-month subscription to Strava. I accepted and added my credit card to benefit from this free trial. However, today I was charged €60 for an annual subscription that I did not want to renew. I am a minor and this purchase was made in error. This amount represents a significant portion of my savings, which took me almost two years to accumulate. I did not intend to continue with the paid subscription and would like to request a refund. I started using Strava in the summer of 2010 when the Whister Granfondo came to town and I had to buy a bike and start training. No Garmin, HRM, or power meter to start. Much more raw (and sometimes more enjoyable 🤣)One feature that Strava took away that I miss every day, is the ability to track distance and elevation when doing an activity on foot that is NOT a run. My wife and I power walk and hike about 3,000-4,000km a year and climb about 100,000m in the process. Unless it's recorded as a "Run" I can't track my yearly accomplishments and reach my target. Every bike ride counts, even when people coast to the park with their toddler. Unfortunately Strava has made some value judgement that says only runs can be counted and tallied up. Such a shame. If they (re)allowed the tracking of all foot activities, I think the Strava community would grow significantly. Strava wants to be so "inclusive" all the time, except for those who aren't runners

Hello - I’ve reviewed the published API documentation but couldn’t find a way for my application to get notified real-time when an athlete has hit a Segment start. Is that available for developers?Thanks, greg.

Anyone know what has caused this issue?Splits on Strava are all over the place, while the summary in Strava is correct. This was on a treadmill with the Apple Watch directly synced to the treadmill. Strava added 1.1km in the splits compared to the Apple Watch splits which are correct.   

Up until recently, when I shared a run, the image with stats would retain its aspect ratio. This seems to be no longer the case (in the last week).For example, here is my latest run, ready to share; However, when I post or even save the image, it is cropped to the portrait aspect ratio. This has only happened recently, as I have been sharing in the same way every time. Can anyone shed any light on this?

Is it possible to disable everything goal related? It seems incessant lately. I signed up and pay for an app to record my activities. I couldn't care less about the screen wasting goal suggesting and constant artificial validation.

I just got approved for full access to the Strava API and I am excited to begin a pilot of the app I am working on.I’d love to connect with anyone else that has experience working with the API at scale. So far the test API integration is going well. Now to test it at scale. Just need to find a couple of shops to partner with for a pilot and roll from there. Stay tuned! :)

When I start the Android app, wait for the GPS to be found (Green status), presse the start button and then put the screen to sleep with the power button, the activité is well recorded.But if the GPS is not found or weak when I press de start button and then the power button, the activité is not recorded until I wake the screen, which is often when I finish the activity (happens mostly when I am commuting because of the topography).Its happens more since the latest update of the recording interface, a few weeks ago.

Hello,Since upgrading to Strava Premium, activities imported from Polar Flow no longer include heart rate data.Polar indicates that Strava has not authorized heart rate processing, but there is no health data consent option available in my account (neither app nor web).Could you please reset or re-enable heart rate / health data consent on my account?

My Fitness and Freshness graph is missing my exercise data from August to December 2025.  As a result, the graph shows a declining fitness score and no activities between August 9/25 and January 3/26.  As a result, the Fitness score dropped to “0”.  All of the exercise data is present elsewhere on Strava (e.g. My Activites, Dashboard, etc.).  I checked Help and it suggested that I go to My Profile on the website and to Restore Data.  I have down this a couple of times, but it does not correct the error.  How do I get the Fitness graph to reflect this data and to provide a more accurate Fitness score?

Hi All,I know you can crop a run however when I do Parkrun the route goes under a large highway bridge and the distance is too short, not too long. I can't figure out how to add the extra distance into the activity in my Strava app. I have the paid version and can edit in Garmin, just not in Strava. It seems odd to me if this is not possible. Am I missing something?

Hello!I see that there are many, many Strava apps available. I am looking for one that will provide an MS Excel output report for a set of approximately 300 segments (which I have listed), showing which ones I am the Local Legend (and how far back the #2 person is on the leaderboard), as well as the ones where I am not the Local Legend (and how close I am to the #1 person on the leaderboard). Does anyone know if such an app already exists? Is there an efficient method to checking the available apps to see if there is one with such functionality?Thank you,Dennis

I synced my ride from Samsung Health to Strava, however the data is way off.  The mapped ride looks the same on both apps, there is a difference however of 4 miles between the apps, Strava being the lower, whilst Samsung being correct, the other stats were all wrong as well, such as average and max speed.Samsung health uses my Garmin speed and cadence sensors, which I also have in Garmin connect, however Garmin connect doesn’t sync anything to Strava despite being enable.Does Strava interpret the data differently?  I was at a bike park, so did a few laps in the same area before moving on.  I assumed it would just upload the same data, clearly this is not the case, so I’ve disable sync for now, but would like to understand why it’s so different and if it can be resolved.

My cycling club is aiming to reduce its environmental impact.One of the things we do is to publish a weekly top three of distance, ascent and longest ride from all the club’s members’ activities.  This encourages members to try to increase their distances ridden or ascent climbed.Please could you add a tag riders or hikers can use called ‘Not the Car’ or ‘Car Substitute’ or something similar so all Strava users can also easily log and analyse the times they have cycled or walked instead of using their car.  We think this will add to awareness of environmental impacts and what steps people have taken to reduce theirs.  It could also feed into challenges. Many thanks 

Last month I was able to manually update my FTP but I tried yesterday and today and am unable to update. Every time I try it pulls up the subscribe page. Are free accounts now no longer able to manually update FTP, or is there a different path to do now? I tried both on my phone in the App and on the Website.

At my Samsung S24 the Strava app stops tracking the correct location when I pause to wait for my fellow hikers or watch the scenery …. Only after finishing the activity and returning back before saving it I’m able to obtain a new (GPS) position and continue tracking again. Changing power optimization, location, etc. settings have not resolved the issue. Who has ideas to solve this?

Please, PLEASE, can you get rid of the photos on the heat maps!! I’ve suggested this before, but to no avail. I want to see my activity clusters on my heatmap, not random photos. It’s not a travel blog, it’s a running record. The photos just get in the way of the activity clusters and add no value at all. On the contrary, they are annoying.

I love diving into stats, but if I'm presented with a 'Year of Sport 2025' I'd like it to include the year of 2025, not 11 months and 1 week of it. I've still got a race to do before the end of the year and I'm ramping up my training, but none of that will be captured. What's the point?
