Strave map in JustGiving shows Pacific ocean

I've linked my Strava account to my JustGiving account but every time I do a walk, I just see a map showing an area of the Pacific Ocean, and my walk route is not shown when I reposition the map to my location. Any idea why ?

Why can't I see average HR here?

See the screenshot below, which is the summary of my trail run.  I don't care about my average power and especially about the calories. These metrics mean nothing to me. At the same time I'd really like to see my average HR and average cadence. Strava have been releasing a lot of unimportant features recently, but giving us more customization of the app would be greatly appreciated by many. There should be a way to customize these data fields or perhaps a way to see all available data fields. I don't really like that Strava makes these choices for me.

Gracias, saludos. TRANSLATION:  I suggest being able to configure the privacy of the activity according to its type or even according to minimum times or km of activity. Otherwise you saturate the app with your contacts or you have to block everything and activate the settings for each activity regardless of whether you are one of those who record everything. Group Challenges Query and Clubs

Hey, I recently started a group challenge - 90 miles in 30 days - "90 in 30" and a club "Sam B's 90 in 30 Club". I think a great feature would be to able to add/make challenges through clubs, not just events. So for example my club 'Sam B's 90 in 30 club' would include a challenge every 30 days/month of 90 miles in 30 days (Walking,`Running, Hiking) instead of these two things being separate. I understand this might be a premium feature, since I can only make 3 challenges with my current account. I'm also a graphic designer and would love to create and add my own badge to my 90 in 30 challenge for successfully completing it, make my trophy case all snazzy. Either this is a feature already and I don't know how to do it or could be a great creative opportunity especially if we could create challenges through clubs. Would love to hear everyones thoughts!Sam B

Automatic language change in the application

Some time ago the mobile app spontaneously changed my language from English to Russian. I don't know Russian, I use the English version. How can I restore the correct language? Everything is fine on the website. I reinstalled strava but this did not help.

Strava step counter - new, but inaccurate

Hello everyone!In the last 3 weeks, my Strava data started showing steps taken during a walk (in-app, Android).They're wildly inaccurate - today, 5.33 mile walk = 584 steps! 😄How can I stop the steps showing or make it accurate? Thanks in advance, Sarah

Mapping over another part of the route - Problems

When devising a new route on Strava's mapping tool from a PC, I cannot draw the return route over an existing section of the route. Manual mode does not seem to solve the problem either. Is there an easy fix, what am I doing wrong, it used to work just fine, and this is the only reason why I pay for Strava. I am already having to post the group rides in Ride with GPS, but I would rather return to Strava is I could get it to actually work like it used to work. Any guidance is appreciated!

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE losing access to paid account

What is the complicated issue I’m solving?? <<< I lost access to an email address (which was part of a Google suite, so no actual password but click-through logins). I can no longer log into a paid account. >>>That’s literally it. Since I lost my account, I had created another account to contact Strava support. I submitted tickets, emailed the support desk directly, and attempted to call. No help whatsoever. Now if I submit a ticket, it becomes flagged as solved (wth??) All I needed is to change the email to the account so that I am able to log into my account (shouldn’t it be a given if I’m paying the subscription???). It’s not that complicated. You should have built the functionality to recover an account in case they lost an email address or Facebook account. People change jobs and they become logged out of what they had. Don’t you get it?? How many more hours should a paying customer spend on solving this issue? It literally should’ve take

Measurement

I have my unit of measurement set to KM but all my best efforts are shown in miles. I reinstalled the app after powering my device for 10 seconds but this is still the case. How do can I fix this so my stats are only in KM. Thanks

Different results from .fit and .gpx

If I upload manually original .fit file from Garmin, I get new activity on Strava. If I then this activity export to GPX file, the activity remove and again I upload from the GPX file, I get activity with different parametres than the original activity was. How it's possible, it's correct?

Workout logged incorrectly

Hi. This is my first post ... go easy on me lolI did a 1h 23m workout this morning. Tracked it using my Samsung Galaxy 5 Watch ... but it only logged as 1m 33sWhen checking on the watch there are not unsynced activates. How can I correct and log the full workout and as 2nd prize at least update the workout time?Thank you

Fitness & Freshness values are different from Web vs App

Hi, I'd like to know if someone else also has this issue: my fitness & freshness values differ from the web vs the app... maybe it's not a bug and it's expected, but then i'd like to know why would this be implemented like this? Web: app:   Does anybody have any idea how to sync them again or what happened ?Thanks in advance...

E-bike mileage

I'm new to this site so apologies in advance if I'm unfamiliar with itI have regular bike and e-bikes. I want both to count towards my annual goals (time and distance). I've been Googling for whether e-bike rides count, most replies suggest they do count, but clear from my total they don't (I can simply change an activity from Ride to E-Bike ride and see the totals change for YTD).How do I get it to count everything short of calling everything a Ride (which messes up lots of other things)?

Strava Power goals not achieved

Hello,This isn't a huge deal but for some reason, the power goals I set on the desktop Strava (I don't know if this is available on the app) don't seem to be achieved. However, my power curve shows that the goal has been met. Any idea why this is happening?

No Elevation Gain from Treadmill shows up...

Hi there hope you can help me out, i use a nordictrack incline treadmill (xi7)  for my special keyunits like hiking intervalls or hike /run intervalls and stuff like that. Everything was fine since 2 weeks. I uploaded the tcx.file like weeks and months before but now... no elevation is showing up in my workouts.  On Ifit its the 3rd party where i get the tcx file from everything is fine. And also on trainingspeaks the elevation shows up when i upload it. Only on Strava no elevation anymore...I opend severall time a ticket but since yet no solution ;(I uploaded pictures from everything.  Regards

Has the design of the profile page deliberately changed ?

On my profile page there used to be a tab for KOMs/CRs and one for "Top 10s" (actually for positions 2 to 10).  I could then filter the KOMs/CRs to see, for example, just bike rides (my main focus).  However, when I look now there seems to be no way to separate KOMs/CRs and Top 10s (although the page doesn't display any Top 10s) and there is no way to filter out my small number of non-bike KOMs.  Were these deliberate changes ?  Can they please be reversed ?This is what I now see...

Salve a tutti. È da poco che uso questa ottima app. Va tutto bene ma non capisco perché nel valore delle calorie consumate mi da più del doppio di altre app (Health) e quella del cellulare. Uso una cinghia per cardiofrequenzimetro col l'app di Strava... Perché?  TRANSLATION: Hello everyone. I've only been using this great app for a short time. Everything is fine but I don't understand why it gives me more than double the value of calories consumed than other apps (Health) and that of the mobile phone. I use a heart rate monitor strap with the Strava app... Why?

Strava definitions and terms

Not sure where to post this but I have a simple query.I have been a Strava subscriber/member for a year or so. Strava is a hugely popular app with massive user following, and is both intuitive and highly complex.But I cannot find a section on basic terms and definitions.For example, in recording my walks, my main form of exercise, I have found myself confused between "Activities" and "My Routes".In accessing Activities, and when hovering the cursor over that Activity on desktop, the option to "Save Route" is provided.If I want to retain the details of my Activity, it appears that I should not press "Save Route", as this seems to then save the activity to some other previously used route, with stats such as elevation gain, time taken, heart rate, etc saved in accordance with a previously saved route or activity? And the stats for this activity are then lost. Is this correct? This is an essential aspect of Strava and yet I cannot find any help or assistance on this question, nor a simple

Best Efforts

I cannot remove best efforts for all segments from 400m to 10mi.  They are all based on a run which had bad GPS data.  I tried flagging the run but I am not sure if it is flagged currently.  For example, it says my PB for 400m to 2mi is 3 seconds! I am not that quick ! The raw data is from Suunto watch and is accurate in terms of distance and time despite bad GPS data

Calculating TSS

Hi Strava and Strava Users,I can't seem to find the TSS calculated anywhere in my data. I do find that a little bit weird as it is pretty straigth forward calculation so it would be nice to have that included.I have found Strava a Strava TSS Calculator which to me seems like an external tool. Anyone who knows about this tool and its connection with the official Strava application.ThxFinn
