Hello - I've been added as an Admin to a Club, so I can approve membership requests. However, we still cannot clean up the club (this club is tied to an office-based club) because the identified owner no longer has access to their account.I've messaged the previous owner, and they have confirmed that the club does not appear in their dashboard so they cannot transfer ownership.What remedies do I have for this situation?

Hi all, I'm trying to use the relative effort. But I was noticing a big difference in relative effort between 2 pretty similar activities:  The lower is from september 8th and the upper from september 15th.  So, in the upper activity I ran a little bit longer in zone 2 but way less in zone 3 and my relative effort is much higher. Are there other things involved in the calculation? What am I missing? I must admit that my heartrate zone where accidently set back from custom to automatic between the 2 runs. I put it back to custom (after the run) which changes the upper graphic. I think the relative effort score didn't change.But still, the heartrate zones during the last run (on automatic base) were slightly higher than the custom base, so I would expect a lower relative effort score instead of higher.   I hope someone can help me with this.

In the web app is there a way when viewing an activity to auto-hide or one-click hide all segments that are not my own private ones?I ride the same route a lot and I have about 12 segments of my own that are starred. Since it's a heavily used trail, when I view an activity my own segments drown in the sea of random segments that others have created and made public. I literally have 40+ segments that I don't care about. I can hide them 1 by 1, but that's tedious and on my next activity in the same place it's the same again.Any current options to avoid this segment overkill?

I've been marking rides to and from work as commutes pretty diligently, but I see from various reports on the site that commutes can be hidden, which makes me think maybe they aren't meant to be treated as significant exercise? I ride as hard on commutes as I do on non-commutes, just that my destination is work and I have paniers on my bike for a change of clothes, laptop, etc. If anything, that little extra weight burns a few more calories, I'm sure.Would others count these as commutes? It is a little neat seeing how much CO2 I saved by not driving, though that's not really why I do it.

I recently noticed that two street names on a Strava map were the wrong way around.  The street names have been used in the names of some Strava Segments, which causes some minor confusion.  The Strava map (at least in the UK) comes from OpenStreetMap.  I corrected the 2 street names via the OSM website (it's all open source) but when I look today the names on Strava are still incorrect.Hence my question - presumably there is some delay between a change being made in OSM and it reaching Strava.  Does anyone know how long this typically takes ? (I have a slight concern that I may have missed a step in the process of getting things corrected)

Hi everyone I had tracked my run on my Apple Watch and on my phone however my Apple Watched stopped and it continued to track on my phone my longest distance yet and didnt upload, I’ve tried the option of going to refresh, logging in and out etc is there any other ways? It said it was uploading for about 10 mins after I saved it and then just disappeared . Any help at all appreciated it  

I know that the discrepency between Garmin times and Strava times have been reported again and again and the response from Strava is always "we're right, they're wrong" but this is ridiculous.I started a weights workout on Friday and finished it today, Saturday, and now Strava says the workout was 30 hours long while Garmin says it was 50m. That's not Strava being more strict about paus times, that's just silly.

Anyone else notice that the weather stats (like the equally *wildly inaccurate* "calories" stat) are insanely inaccurate? I live in Miami. Today's ride was oppressively hot & humid. According to Strava, though, the temp was 79° F, with a "feels-like" temp of 83°. Ummm...NO! Not even CLOSE. According to Weather.com, the feels-like temp was a whopping 104° F! Slightly different, I'd say.The Strava temps are not just "slightly off," but 10° to 20° off every single time.I have no idea how/where Strava is getting the weather information, but it's wildly inaccurate, to the point where I do not want the bogus Strava weather info to automatically appear on the ride.Is there no way to disable the weather stats? They automatically appear on the ride summary, despite being a complete joke.This should be a feature users could disable!Bottom line: If Strava can't provide accurate temps, the either DON'T provide them at all (!), or permit users to disable this

I want to see average heart rate for «Your Results» on cycling segments. Now it just shows average power (W), and of course average speed (km/h) and total time.  I know it is possible to see the heart rate on the «Analyze Effort» page. But I want just an easy overview for all efforts to compare my fitness and see my trend. Same power and lower HR = better fitness.  There is enough space on the page + it would not clutter the page in my opinion.   

I'm using 3D terrain maps a lot. For week or two there are no labels at all, city/town names are missing and you can see just plastic map which is not as good as with labels. Am I missing something, like new setting (show/hide lables?)...? Or is this a general bug somewhere?Thank you in advance, Jan.

I have ran a PB on 5k today in the strava Apple Watch App. However, on my acitivity feed it shows 3:44, and in Brooks 5K challenge it shows 3:47. Nonetheless 3:47 is my current PB so it should be showing at least a second best try?  It seems like it only registered the run but not quite the segments or personal bests.. Thanks in advance! 

Hi, my run uploads correctly to the garmin app with time, distance, map. But then when it uploads to strava, the map is cut off and the distance is 0.0km. The time is correct but it has not shown any distance. Does anyone know if I can manually upload my run from garmin app to strava? Thanks!

I have a problem. The full distance of one of my bikes is incorrect. Strava shows that the bike has ridden 11,203 km, but it should be 4,683 km. I last verified the distance at 4,344 km. Since then, I have had 5 activities with this bike, with a total distance of 339 km. I tried to change the bike to another in these 5 activities and then return to the correct one, but it did not help. The distance is still incorrect and is 11,203 km. What can I do?

Strava doesn't offer the same number of map layers. Is it foreseen by October 1st?

You've started using 'their' when referring to your customers instead of 'he' or 'her'. Why not have a 'preferred pronoun' field on the profile page for those who want to choose something other than 'he' or 'her' and assume the rest of us are referred to as 'he' or 'her'.

Hello,when I try to refresh activity achievements, how long after presssing Refresh Achievements for this Activity (+Proceed) does it take to recompute all achievements for this activity?I'm asking because the "Achievements are being recomputed for this activity. This may take a moment." message at the top of the pa ge doesn't dissapear by its own, but does dissapear immediately if I refresh the page. I know that recalculation is happening in the background but due to this message not dissapearing I don't know when it finishes.

Hi, this has happened again and I am getting annoyed by whatever Strava is doing with my team runs uploaded from garmin. Picture this:runner A (garmin) and runner B (polar) run the same trail, have the same pace, same pauses, everything is basically the same. Stats in both garmin and polar app are nearly identical - obviously, we ran together. Yet on strava, my (garmin) activity is 52 MINUTES longer than my friends. Like how is that possible if we ran arm by arm? His average moving pace in Strava reflects exactly what his polar app says, in my case, according to strava - I am 30% slower than him. Hi,I have strava installed on my android phone and enable autopause on for both ride and run but when I record a walk and during that walk I stop for a few minutes,strava doesnt autopause and continue with the timer thus the recorded average speed for my walks is lower than actual speed.Is there a way to enable auto pause for walks?

Hello, I have a discrepancy between the number of uploaded activities and the annual statistics in My Stats on my account. I have uploaded 93 activities in 2024, but in My Stats I have only 83 activities for 2024. When I add up all the activities in My Activities in Training folder, the total is correct - 93 activities. Where could the problem be? My account is 39535432. Thank you. David Lukes

I renewed my subscription, but Strava created a new subscription that isn't showing in my app. My current subscription will expire in 22 days (a 1-year subscription), and the new one doesn’t appear. I’ve submitted two tickets but haven’t received any response. What should I do? It’s extremely frustrating.

Hi all, I’m new to Strava and this community but does anyone know how to stop getting emails every time someone gives kudos? I don’t want to stop all emails but don’t want my inbox filling up with things I can easily see in the app. The email notifications settings only has on or off for all emails. 

Hi, I would like to report that athlets search has an issue from at least few weeks. I used to search athlets via web search using certain phrase (my city name: Biała Podlaska). Unfortunatelly it is not possible any more for that phrase - search returns no results. At the same time I can search for e.g. "New York" or any other city near me like "Lublin" an it works, it returns athlets. The problem is only with "Biała Podlaska" (or biala podlaska, biała podlaska, Biala Podlaska ... and so on).
