Why has my heatmap and the global heatmap suddenly disappeared from my mobile device?

I’m trying to find out if it is possible to correct a route you have made in the computer but failed to follow exactly due for example temorary roadworks. Or you inadvertently turned into the wrong street and had to back up. How can you remove those ‘tails’ from your route after the route was saved in strava? 

Hey, it would be great to have optional data labels (with a checkbox to turn it on/off) on weekly / monthly summaries chart on main profile page. Sth like this: What do you think? Also, why cannot I submit my swim as a "race"? All the best to you!

Hey Guys, a few days ago, I created a new passwort and have logged out from the strava app. When I logged in again, my account was empty and all the activities from the last years were gone. I requested the strava support but nobody answered or helped me. Do anyone tell me what to do or how long does it take, that strava support answer and help me? 

Is there a way to set a group challenge to have members walk 1 mile everyday for a month?This is what Google is showing me:Access the Group Challenge feature: Go to the "Groups" tab on the Strava app.  Set the Challenge Goal: Select "Distance" as the goal type.  Define the Daily Distance: Set the daily distance to 1 mile.  Choose the Duration: Set the challenge to last for a month.  Invite Group Members: Add your friends or colleagues to the group challenge. The problem with this is that I cannot figure out how to set a “daily distance.”  When I’m selecting the distance, and putting in “1 mile” it’s making it seem like 1 mile is the total goal rather than a daily goal

Is it possible to have an open entry when entering the swim distance on the Strava app rather than the constant scroll in 25 yard/meter increments? The web version allows for manual entry and having that option in the app would be awesome!

I'm trying to set an informative picture in the top of Club page. But it's very difficult because for the web version, the page is cut. In the App the picture seems ok as expected.The result should be the same for App and Web.I suggest to uniform the picture results between App ad web WEB:APP: 

I want to be able to see my total weekly elevation gain across all “human powered” sports.This is somewhat possible by selecting “All Sports” in the progress page in the app.The problem is that it also includes elevation from Alpine Skiing and so all the lifts - this is none sense .It should automatically exclude non “human powered” sports or at least allow for a multi select interface.

HiI just want to know why all my Zwift indoor racers are not listed on all best efforts under ride. It is only showing outdoor cycling information. Most of my best efforts are coming from Zwift.Can there not be a droping down bar for indoor rides.Please helpThank you

Hey,It's been more  than a week since I submitted a support request and still no response.

A bit of a bizarre one. When adding a manual treadmill run I put the title as follows "60 mins @ 17.0kph." When saving the run it will only show "60 mins @".  If I keep editing the run to add the speed back in it won't show when saved. However if I edit it to show "60 mins @ 17.0kph" (note without the full stop at the end) then it will save fine. The same happens whatever the speed entered, it seems like Strava doesn't like full stops!Obviously it doesn't bother me, just a peculiarity with the software that seems a little strange!

Many of the leaderboards for segments in urban areas (especially those next to highways) are riddled with blatant vehicle travel "rides". In nearly every case, a rider neglects to stop recording their ride when they get in the car to drive home. The result, in the case of most segments following major roadways, is the top 30 leaderboard spots boasting outrageously inhuman times--i.e. 72 mph on a flat road for 10 minutes, etc. I suggest that a flagging algorithm should be setup in the Strava software that automatically removes certain rides from the leaderboard under strict parameters. For example, on a flat/uphill road, it is physically impossible to ride a bicycle, electric or otherwise, faster than 70 mph, for any length of time, barring outrageously extreme circumstances. To prevent vehicle travel from clogging up an upsetting proportion of urban segment leaderboards, Strava could auto-flag those rides which exceed human-effort plausibility, such as the parameter desc

I came back from a swim this morning where I recorded a RE of 26. My friend carried out the same swim -- roughly the same pace -- with a *much* lower heart rate (127 bpm vs my 149 bpm), and spending LESS time in higher-intensity heartrate zones … and recorded a RE of 65.Any ideas why this discrepancy?May as well add that over time (have used Strava for about 8 years now), relative effort scores seem to have decreased considerably for me -- runs from when I had recently joined tended to received much higher RE scores compared to runs I do now, even when controlling for HR and HR zones.Curious if anyone has encountered similar issues

My power curve shows my max 20min power at about 264w. I'm 65kg and reckon my FTP is 255w at the most. So why does Strava estimate it as 274W? There is no way I could ever sustain 274w for an hour.  

For example, when I add a pair of shoes with the brand Nike and model Vaporfly 3, Strava incorrectly formats it as VaporFly 3, capitalizing the 'f'. This is incorrect; you won't see such writing on Nike's official website or anywhere that mentions this shoe.What's even more amazing is that when I name the model Vaporfly 3 Premium, it doesn't get formatted. But if it's named Vaporfly 3 Volt, it gets incorrectly formatted as VaporFly 3 Volt again. This forces me to name it Vaporfly 3 DV4129-700 (which doesn't get formatted).There are many other similar issues too.

When I added my new Saucony Endorphine Speed 3 to my list of shoes, Strava makes the s lower case. I have tried numerous different tricks to get it to make that letter upper case as it should be, but it always winds up going back to lower case! For example, I tried renaming the shoe Endorphine PSpeed 3. That stays upper case. But when I remove the P the s goes to lower case. When I added a second space before Speed, then it worked. This does not happen with any of my other shoes. It seems as if Strava has a list of shoe names that it tries to match and the Endorphine Speed 3 is typed with a lower case 's' in that list. The double space didn't match anything so it kept my spelling. If this is the case, that is a feature that should be removed. Just use what I type in.

My cycling crew and I recently all bought the Garmin 1050 for our mountain biking adventures.  3 of us so far have tried syncing it with Strava to display live segments, and none of us are able to get this working for some reason. I understand there is some sort of “no downhill” policy, but we can’t even get the climbs to work, even after trying to re-create new climb segments to test.  Is there something we are missing?  Neither the “E-Bike” or “E-Mountain” categories seem to work.  Even trying to sync some local road only segments, out of maybe 30 segments, I was only able to get 2 starred segments to show.  So we know its “working”, but there has to be something we’re missing.

I can’t see my rides on the Web (Chrome) for the past few weeks on the personal heatmap, but can see them on the app (Apple 14).

Hello,I am comparing training plans and looking at the Strava generated plan.  It provides nice detail on the site for the first few weeks but then it just has durations, not distances.  I can tell for sure that the plan is aimed at faster runners or road runners.  I am working on my training calendar and this tool does not help due to these limitations.  Or maybe I am looking in the wrong place? It would also be good to have plans longer than 12 weeks. Thanks!

Strava does not seem to be able to post Backcountry skiing activities-what can be done to fix this?

HiI tried to subscribe with the android app, but it redirected me to chrome browser which appears to have now created a new strava account (with my subscription) under my gmail address, which is not my longstanding accountI’m trying to refund the subscription (with little success) but I also realise that means I wont be able to get the discount that was offered last week.  what should I do?

It came to my attention recently that Strava has created a blanket restriction on posting any form of hyperlink to their platform without any notification to the users posting the link. Similarly, club pages can no longer have a website associated with them and past links shared have been removed without notice. You cannot even link to Strava’s own ecosystem on a Strava post.I created a support ticket requesting information on this glaring issue and was directed to a community post the cites “harmful spam” despite no evidence of such spam occurring. Attempts to follow-up with these concerns have received no response with Support only closing my tickets without notice.To add insult to injury I’ve noticed that we can no longer copy/paste any text from anywhere in Strava on mobile. Inquiries into the reasoning behind this have been similarly ignored.If user safety is the concern then it seems odd that email notifications still contain links as the sc

Recently changed my running watch and now summary data does not show HR stats. Permissions are correctly enabled. I don't want to see Power I'd like to see HR data back again. Any suggestions. Thanks 

Is there a way to mark a Hike or Walk as a Race, so that time spent taking breaks is included in stats? Last year I completed the Mammutmarsch, which is a 100km walk and something I would consider a “race”.I would like my activity to better represent the actual time it took us to complete it, as well as the km/h and pace and everything else.
