In a world where we celebrate achievements we are proud of, recognition means a lot! When thinking about celebratory milestones, we would love to know what meaningful achievements you are most proud of or would like to see recognized and incorporated into Strava?  Thanks for all your thoughts! 

Hi, wouldn’t it make sense to sort “all time” best men and women by every year as well? Trails change with usage and time, most of all time records were the best from decade(s) ago because MTB trails were just built brand new and had very low traffic and usage and ideal terrain. Impossible to live up to or beat for the best riders in the present. Could this feature to separate the best of each year be incorporated in Strava app? Thank you @strava64

Hi GuysI am having issues trying to change my email login details. The current email address is no longer active, so I cant access a password(forgotten password) The email address I want to use has created a new account which needs to be deleted. This has happened due to a phone change. Please can someone offer some advise?

I just ran 3.10 miles for the first time today, and I received zero achievements on my account. I have already ran 3 miles before. I ran faster this time so I should have a PR for the 3 mile. I should also have an achievement for my longest run on strava because I have never ran this far before (3.10 miles). I emailed support and they have done nothing to help me. I would like a REAL PERSON to review my account and add these achievements on there as soon as possible. I know for a FACT that they should be there. I will continue to email until this gets fixed. I went to the strava website and refreshed the activity’s achievements and that did nothing. I am a relatively new runner and I like seeing the achievements. I challenged myself today to run a 5k and I received none of the achievements that I know I should have been rewarded. It is almost like this run did not count. Please I would like to get in touch with someone who actually works at strava so this issue can be resolved. If anyo

Strava can you please return 'average speed in mph' to Hikes. Hikers are generally not bothered about how many steps they've taken. Thank you.

Here is activity and exact segment https://www.strava.com/activities/12002004056/segments/3252624209038731736 with few segments in this ride that are not showing leaderboard in segment.It is written:This effort doesn’t appear on leaderboards because the segment is within an area you have hidden using your Map Visibility controls.But the segment is quite far from this area. On the same part of route few segments (shorter ones) have leaderboard.

Dear Strava, I am writing to express my concern regarding a recent charge to my account. I signed up for the 30-day free trial, but I was charged immediately. I am not a native English speaker, and I may have misunderstood the terms of the trial. However, I feel this is misleading. I would appreciate it if you could investigate this matter and provide a full refund.

This been a request over many years and controversial, in a group riders can go faster and take turns to push the pace as solo riders have only themselves and their bikes.Here is the complication is it a Solo KOM when a group breaks the KOM on a timeline !!The slowest rider of the Group uploads their ride and sets a new Time and sets the KOM(Solo), half an hour later other riders upload theirs and get the KOM(group) as there is more than one rider, as riders upload, the KOM time may change as I have seen this happen and number of people get the KOM on their activity achievements. Ideally once a group KOM (>1+) second rider uploads the first rider activity achievements is reprocessed for solo & group KOM identity.What I would like to see is on the segment leaderboard an additional column(subscriber feature) of solo so that you can filter on groups or solo.There is another feature which I see as Group Sprint, I will raise that as a separate post.   

hello all, I am writing because I got a new phone and am unable to log back into strava. The thing is, I am using the email that I used to sign up back in 2022. Now, every time, it says that there is an error which is implying that my old account does not exist and won't send my current inbox the email that is supposed to be sent when I use Forgot password. However, I still receive emails saying I got Kudos or comments on my account in the SAME INBOX as my email I used to originally sign up so it definitely exists. What do I do, my original account is Jack Tutun with a kid running on a track as the profile picture. 

When going on long bike rides I'm getting a huge difference between the calories burnt on strava and calories burnt on my myzone heart rate strap. Today I rode for 3 hours and strava is saying I burnt 520 calories! Where as my HR strap says 3.5k which is more believable as it was an extremely hard ride. 249 relative effort. My chest strap links to my garmin 520 which shows my HR on there and strava takes that HR on the activity but for some reason not the calories. Any help please? Thanks

Hello, the Strava map editor is getting better and better. Good work!Still one thing that grinds my gears. Can you please add the possibility to use the "Manual mode", (ie. no routing) in-between waypoints? As it is now the feature it only seems to work on the last waypoint (or am I doing it wrong?) .This makes it impossible to edit routes where there are no routeble tracks (eg using the heatmap as a source for the way).Now I have to either redraw the entire route from scratch or export gpx, upload and use another service, and then upload to strava again. Very tiresome.

Pretty simple problem - it's an HTML encoding issue. Just reporting in case you're not aware. Image example attached. 

When I go to my profile to set my “Default Sport” under “Display Preferences” it only gives me 2 choices Running or Cycling. I like to Hike as well as walk but these are not options. Seems a bit absurd to me…Am I missing something? If forces me to go into each work out after complete and change to walking.

Idea: Add the year to the date headings on the Training Log, so instead of "JUL 17 - 23" it says "JUL 17 - 23, 2023". Currently, the only way to know what year you're looking at on mobile is to click into an activity and then go back.  

Hello Strava Community, I’m reaching out to express my concerns regarding some of the recent changes to Strava’s map features, particularly focusing on the Global Heatmap color update that occurred a few days ago. The recent update changed the color of the Global Heatmap from its familiar blueto a purplish hue. This new color blends too closely with the red of the Personal Heatmap, making it difficult to differentiate between the two, especially in Satellite View. This seemingly minor change significantly impacts our ability to read the maps accurately and make informed decisions about our routes. Hi guys it's great to be here. I started walking Sunday . It recorded my whole walk . I wasn't a paid member then . Then the day after it recorded 3min of an 36 min walk , and the same today . It's also not  showing beginning and end , Evan though I have changed in settings. Also today it recorded 3min again . Then on another map the whole walk. Iv paid for the monthly subscription, I'm sure last year it was free and you could record the whole activity. Help please 🥺

Since early March importing a swim from a tcx file gives errors. The time and heart rate come through, but not the distance (says it is 0m). It does seem to have it under the individual laps. I cannot see how to edit it, and if I create a manual entry instead, all the lap data is lost. Is this a known error? How can I fix it?

I was a bit too fast re-activating my subscription. It's now linked to my old account (the one I'm logged on with here). I need to move it to my active account. How can I do this?

The weekly heatmap doesn't seem very useful. Because the heat scale is global, areas with a lot of cyclists just show almost every road as red, and areas without a lot of cyclists just show everything as blue. It's OK, though not great, in high-usage areas but, in lower-usage areas, the heatmap just looks like an ordinary road map, except that a few very minor roads are coloured "barely anyone cycles here" rather than "only a few people cycle here". To be useful, I think there needs to be a way of adjusting the heat scaling, so that one can set the most popular roads in a given area to show up red, even if they're not very popular on the global scale. There could even be an option in the user interface to automatically scale the heat so that the most popular road displayed at the moment is red, regardless of how popular it actually is.

My all time PR is not showing up on the leaderboard. Everything in my settings is turned on for everyone to see.  

i click on the segment, and it gives me the all-time top 10 leader board, but is there a way to compare to my top 10 best efforts?i cant even remember when the last time i did this route, or i would go back and select a previous date to compare this PRthanks

I record my run using strava on my phone, not using watch. During run (after 1km), the pace is "9 30". After I finished the run, the pace split in the activity log is "9 15". How can i fix this?

I am a Trails Coordinator in my city. I would like to create a contest for people to ride/run/walk a certain segment of trail. Each lap they do can count as a point, and perhaps the fastest time can count as some amount of bonus points. Each point is equivalent to an entry into a drawing, with the grand prize and a few secondary prizes being awarded at the end of the month. I want to do this for each month, rotating through some of our trails that don't see as much attention in order to help motivate folks to use them. If you completed the contest each month, you're eligible for a big end-of-year prize.In order to accomplish this, I need athletes to opt-in somehow (so only people aware of the contest are eligible for prizes), and I need to be able to see all of the opted-in athletes that completed the task, how many times they completed the task, and who did it fastest.It seems like the type of thing a "Challenge" might be able to achieve, but there's no avenue for me to create one of
