How do you prevent Strava from generating the “X uploaded their first Y in a while. Give some kudos to show your support” Notification for all followers of user X who does an activity Y after not doing any for a while? (as an option for X that is, not for each individual follower)

I have made many routes of my own from scratch and they all look as I expect, regardless of device. But whenever I download a gpx for a race it doesn't look "correct" on the mobile app. By that I mean it looks as if it was created with a fraction of the resolution, a couple miles of the winding course represented by one long linear line segment.  I have found that if i select "edit" on the route it looks fine in the editor, but as soon as i select save it looks poor/incorrect. As i said this is only on mobile but obviously mobile is the one place i need it to work.

I ran a marathon on Sunday and cant seemto upload it at all. I submitted a ticket and no one has looked at it request : 3104588 The import button spins for a long while before it turns to a check mark but the activity never processes. I even left it overnight

Not sure why but result is not appearing on leaderboard Any help much appreciated 

When viewing on a web browser, a hyperlink currently works if placed in the activity description, but not in a comment. For the android app, the opposite - it works only in the comments.

Ran my first official race today. Sometime after February 4th, any workout uploaded to Strava now gets pinned as a treadmill workout.  Why is that happening?  I have to go in unmarked the `Treadmill` now on every activity since then to get rid of it and I have to remove the `Treadmill Workout` from the description.

For the first time I encountered a problem with the virtual ride from Rouvy - the times on the segments are recorded, but for all segments I am not in the ranking. The activity is publicly visible, it doesn't have a hidden map and refreshing the results didn't help. Is this a bug through the fact that it was a ride where the load was controlled by the ERG mode on the trainer? I've never had this happen before.https://www.strava.com/activities/12876761870

How can I stop Strava from displaying wattage stats from my ride on the web and in the app?Thanks

Strava Live tracking doesn't show Segment Time anymore as it used to do. This is since the make over from dark orange/teal to red/blue icons. You get live tracking, but at the end of the segment no time appears just a red/blue crown, so all you know most times it that you did or didn’t beat a previous time PR or KQOM. Also it always disappeared too quickly anyway, give 5 extra seconds to look at the display. I can’t be the only one huffing and blowing t the end of a segment look down and the data has gone.

On 15th September I run a half marathon and got a massive PB. It only recorded as 13.06 however was issued the half marathon badge. I ran with a fellow club member and his recorded correctly. I have tried the correct distance feature however it doesn't work. Can the 0.5 be added so that the half records as PB in best efforts.I have tried to contact previously but no one seems to get back.Would really appreciate help

Is it possible to somehow archive or retire previous rides from my stats? I did quite a bit of local riding on a road bike a number of years ago, and am now doing some of the same routes and segments on a hybrid bike at a more leisurely pace. Needless to say a lot of my PRs are from years ago. Can I somehow hide those without deleting all the rides?It is mainly to stop the PRs on my Hammerhead Karoo being now meaningless ones from years ago, that I am never going to catch!

The new generative AI summaries tell me what I did when Strava already does a good job summarizing my efforts. That’s not helpful and uses a lot of compute power for little benefit. How about - if you’re going to jump on that bandwagon - use it to give suggestions how to improve using the current ride and past efforts? Are we balancing heart rate or power zones enough? Should we do more or less intense workouts the following day? Maybe we could put in some details about our goals to help generate recommendations. More like a generative AI coach than some sports announcer giving me the play by play of a game I’m already watching.

Today I used Strava as per usual, then as I was looking over my run the app glitched and took me to the login page. I proceeded to try logging in and it did not recognize my email. My account still exists as my friends can see it but I can’t seem to get access to it now. Wonder if this has to do with Fatmaps being taken down.

I'd prefer to NOT get Kudos for my rides.Is there a setting to "hide" Kudos from my rides?I'd just prefer to not get them.

Had to accept new privacy policy when opening the app and then when I went into settings to opt out of sharing my personal info with third parties (because it shares it by default), I was unable to opt out. If I turn it on to opt out, it immediately goes back off when i come back into this setting and says network error. I am currently not seeing a way to stop sharing my info with third parties on the web for my account so it appears there is no real way to opt out of sharing my personal info with third parties.

I have this memory that in previous versions of Strava if you followed a route the track of the route was given by a red or orange line. When I walk in the outback, I often put the trip into Strava as a route, so I have a backup in case I am unsure where to go. I have the version for Android, and this line doesnt appear anywhere and I dont see any settings where I can turn this on. Is the line still a thing?

Hello, recently I've started using a Garmin forerunners for my running activities. Since I was using a smartwatch with poor GPS all activities in Strava regarding this old smartwatch should not be considered valid. I would like to delete all activities regarding this old smartwatch:- either deleting all activities before a certain date- or deleting all activities coming from zepp app sync 

The new route planning functionality on Android is nice and all, but now I can't seem to find any of my saved routes, including new routes I created using the new interface. Did this relocate in the app, did it go away altogether, or is it user error on my part?

Strava says "Segment creation in this area is disabled because it has been identified as private property, having restricted activity access, and/or other reasons" Support site says it's a known issue and they're working through it, is anyone else having this issue? Hopefully it'll be fixed soon!

I noticed some changes to My Routes.  1) The biggest problem i have with the route planner is when switching from shortest distance to most popular.  Please allow that switch to take effect from the current waypoint to the next (like you do for manual mode) OR from the point you selected that option going forward, as opposed to applying that method of routing to the ENTIRE route.  I spent an hour crafting a route and couldn't get it through an alley (it did a 2-mile circuitous loop to the next way point), when i switched to shortest distance it REROUTED MY ENTIRE ROUTE.  Ouch.  2) Please allow us to delete waypoints from the list on the left again!!  Bring that back!3) It is a small issue but kinda frustrating: we used to be able to grab a part of the route between two waypoints and drag it through a particular place. But now the planner cannot process that action, and the route gets discombobulated and jumbles the route (
