New iOS cycling UI is worse

A week ago while cycling it would show average speed, current speed, time elapsed, distance elapsed, and heart rate all at once very legibly. Now it flip flops between average and current speed when you’re paused or mid ride, and shows only distance and time elapsed along with the changing speed metric. I understand maybe some people prefer this, but maybe you could just make this optional? I want to revert back to the UI from a week ago.

Hello everyone,I'm planning a charity marathon in Japan using Strava.I'm currently developing an API for this purpose, but as shown in the attached image, the "Sustainable Athletes" number is set to 1, which seems to limit Strava authentication to just one person.I would like to change this number to 100.Could you please let me know how I can do that?I would greatly appreciate your help.

App doesn’t work on Apple Watch

Hello everyone,I'm new to the forum, I'm 27 years old, and after years of inconsistent training I've started training seriously again.I am also new to the Strava universe, and I am here to ask for your help regarding the Apple Watch app.I installed the app on both iPhone and Watch, but when I launch the app from the latter, the message "From your phone, sign in or sign upusing the Strava app." but nothing appears in the iPhone and the screen remains frozen.I followed the installation procedure I found on the forum, activating all permissions and syncing the Watch from the iPhone, however, it seems that it is not recognized.I thank you in advance for you help! 🙂

Strava current running pace

Hi! I just bought a strava premium subscription in the understanding that I would be able to see my current running pace (rather than the average) as I am training with intervals in specific paces. Yet, I cannot seem to find this feature. Can anyone help me with this? :)

Transparent image display problem

On the sharing page, the format of my transparent image has always been different with others - no sports icon before (i.e. run, bike), and NOW:Now I just updated into the latest version, still no sports icon, and there’s one new item which doesn’t make sense at all added -  a “Carbon Saved 0.00 kg CO2” displayed on the page.(I didn’t choose anything on “Type of Ride”, not “Commute” either)Please see the attached screen shot. Does anyone know how to solve it (1. how to have the sports icon, 2. how to remove the Carbon Saved info)?

Strava shows CO2 but not positive elevation on prevuiot template for social media

Hi, i am using the new Strava template with transparent background for my bike ride, which so far were showing kilometer, Time, and positive elevation but my last few bike ride were only showing Time, kilometer, and CO2 saved (which always shows as 0 btw) i didnt change any thing in the settings, ils only on my 3 last bike ride i see the same data as before on the activity, but not on the template with transparent background (first one you see when you click share)

Incorrect Elevation Gains Apple Watch

Hi All, I use Strava on my Apple Watch Series 6.  For the past few weeks (since last OS update), elevation gains (outdoor ride) have been way off, reporting at least double what they should be.  Is anyone else experiencing the same?  I removed and reinstalled Strava on my watch and phone, but that hasn't made any difference.

Problems editing a Segment ?

There still seem to be a few glitches with the revised Segment creation tool that was released a few weeks ago.  I recently realised that a Segment I created a while ago would be better if it was slightly shorter (the finish was a bit too close to an obstacle).  I therefore tried to edit it to reduce the length by about 10 metres (the length is about 600 m).  When I tried to save it I got an error saying it was too similar to an existing Segment and so would not be saved.  I don’t think there are any other similar Segments so I think the problem is that it was too similar to the original version before I started editing it 🤦‍♂️.  Hence the question - how should I make small changes to existing Segments ?  I suppose one way would be to delete the Segment and create a new version from scratch (I don’t know how I would find the Activity the original was created from, and it may have been deleted).While on the subject, could someone PLEASE reinstate the functionality that the Segment crea

Missing Power Curve Stats/Charts

I am a Strava subscriber. My connected followers have their power curve and power charts displayed in their Strava app. Also displays under results. I am not able to see this under my profile, only estimated power zones (which has always been there).Is the additional power curve graph and new power results a new feature? How do I enable? I have my bike weight and body weight configured - still nothing.

I want to see all my saved routes on the map at once

Why isn't there an option to see all my saved routes on the map at once? Since the map can show multiple nearby routes that are "powered by community data," then why isn't there a way to show just my routes? I don't want to have to go to my saved list and click individually for that single route to show on the map. I want a visual showing all of them.

sharing feature for cycling

I loved the sharing feature, but for cycling it now replaced altitude with "co2 saved". Seriously?!? I thought this was simply a fitness app, I do sports for my personal health ...Please let users choose the old vs new one (e.g. with a new "road cycling" sport)

No activities in club

Hey friends! I own a club/group on Strava to keep track of my athletes runs, but recently the button to look at the activities of the group is gone and was replaced with “event insights”. I haven’t changed any settings for anything to be different and would just like some help so I can see the activities in my group again please.

Omitted sport in the Challenge's

I ride walk and play tennis all of which I am able to record on my strava. Why then is Tennis not listed in any of the challenges as an included sport?

Fitbit stopped syncing to Strava

Hello,I have a Fitbig Versa and since the start of the year, none of my activities have been syncing to Strava. Prior to that, everything was syncing as I’d expect, so I’m not sure what happened that it stopped doing it now. I have gone to strava.fitbit.com multiple times and synced the two, all the permissions are allowed, etc. I’m not sure what else could be an issue that wasn’t an issue last year.TYIA!

Strava Outdoor Run not displaying pace or total distance on Apple Watch

The Strava app on my Apple Watch Series 10 is not displaying Pace or Distance. Both stay at 0.00 for the duration of the run.  When the run gets synced, I can see the path I took and can see what my splits are, so I know that it’s logging GPS data, but as far as the display on the watch, it’s frozen at zero, so I have no real time info on my pacing or how far I have gone, which is 75% of the purpose.  This doesn’t happen on Outdoor Ride, or Kayak, only when I start a run. I have updated the Strava App on my iPhone, the Apple Watch, uninstalled Strava on both devices and unpaired/re-paired the watch from the phone. None of this has solved the issue.  Does anyone have a potential solution I have not tried? Since it’s only the run activity that is bugged, I assume it’s application bug that may only get fixed in a future update, but I’m hoping I don’t have to find an alternative. I can wear a vest and carry my iPhone, but a large part of using Strava and being subscribed was being able to

Inconsistent activity sync – possible webhook issue?

Hello Strava API Support,We have an integration between Strava.com and our platform Train2Go.com, where coaches expect to see the activity data of their athletes. This process relies on Strava's webhook system: when an athlete completes an activity, we expect to receive a webhook notification so we can load the activity into Train2Go.We’re currently facing an issue where this process works for some athletes, but not for the majority. For many users, no webhook is triggered (or received), and therefore their activities are not uploaded to our platform.We suspect the issue might be related to the webhook system, but we’re not entirely sure — it could be caused by something else. We’d really appreciate your help in troubleshooting this. Has this behavior been observed before? Could there be another potential reason why some athlete activities sync correctly and others don’t?For additional context: about a week ago, we migrated our production environment to a new server with a new IP addre

Request for Increased API Authorization Limit

Hello Strava Developer Team, I am developing a non-commercial web application to support a charity marathon event in Japan.The app connects with Strava to collect each participant’s running data and displays a leaderboard to motivate runners. The event is organized by a volunteer group, and we plan to limit participants to under 100 people.The app only uses the read and activity:read scopes to fetch participants' run distances during the event period. I kindly request an increase to the athlete authorization limit for my application so more runners can connect their Strava accounts. Thank you for your support and consideration. Best regards,

My bike for past rides has been changed by Strava

Some of my rides for 2023 (starting in July) have been marked as ridden with a bike I didn't acquire until Christmas 2023 !Bike 'Vitus' shows about 1200 km for that year, and a total of 6,013 km for all time. The bike is an e-bike so I can also read the mileage from its computer : 4838 km.These rides in 2023 were allocated to my other bikes bikes  'Scotty' and ‘Galaxy’ at the time.I know that I can go back and edit these rides (there are 25 of them) but I’m wondering what is the point of registering a ride against a bike if it’s nott going to be stored correctly in the database.

Issue in Strava authorization callback

Starting this afternoon, Strava is not hitting our callback anymore after the authorization of a new athlete to our app.Steps:User clicks on authorize Strava in our Flutter app on iOS browser popup opens and user has to sign in User clicks on sign in with Apple User gets redirected to the Strava app From the Strava app, the user is not redirected back to our app anymore and no callback is triggeredThis worked in production this morning and stopped a few hours ago.Any known issues or updates happening right now?

Anomalies with auto-exclusion of Efforts ?

I’m quite an experienced Strava user having done about 1200 bike rides over the last 7 years.  I’m aware of the feature that auto-excludes Efforts that are considered infeasible, however, up to now I have not knowingly been affected by it.  I just noticed that in an Activity in April 2024 the first 4 Segments in a ride had been auto-excluded.  I looked at an analysis of the data and it did indeed show an infeasible speed over a short section - from 14 mph to 42 mph and back to 14 mph in about 4 seconds.  This occurred between about 0.08 and 0.13 miles into the Activity (close to home !).  The first 2 Segments included this range and so were reasonably excluded.  However the 3rd Segment started at about 0.26 miles and the 4th Segment to be excluded didn’t start until about 0.57 miles, well beyond the very short GPS anomaly.  Hence I’m wondering why the auto-exclude algorithm would exclude all 4 of these Segments ?  Does it need some tuning to minimise unnecessary auto-flagging of “good”

Apple Fitness and Mi Fitness Not Sending GPS from their activities

Neither Apple Fitness nor Mi Fitness are sending over GPS data to strava when I record activities on those watches, it only works when I use the dedicated Strava app on my Apple watch.  Does anyone know why this is?

Please add a SORT OPTION for My Strava Segments

Please provide a SORT OPTION for My Strava Segments. Having over 500 segments managing them is a nightmare, especially when Garmin limits the number to 100 (Garmin says it is Strava that is the problem here). Rather than indulging in AI gimmickry (that mainly describes the obvious and is therefore of little use), please sort out the (easy) basics first..
