Did an indoor pool swim yesterday. Chose the Indoor Swim mode in the Strava app on my Apple Watch and swam ½ a mile. The watch showed the time passing, but never any distance. When the activity was uploaded to Strava, it only uploaded heart rate, no distance, no time. What did I do wrong?

Yesterday i was trying Sync my aktivity. But data was lost somewhere in proces. Aplication said me when i have bad connection. But later i discovered when aktivity is nowhere to fond.

Mapped a route this AM I wanted to ride. Started out, had Strava running on my iPhone following the route I’d created then saved. At about 2/3’s along the way cellular / GPS got lost, so Strava quit keeping track of my ride metrics? Once I’d realized the signal was back Strava looked to be back at the Home Page so I started a Ride from that point until I finished.Is the ‘lost’ interval data gone forever or can it be recovered? If I can get that back, can the two rides be combined into one?This is the first time I’ve had this happen. Signal’s usually pretty good where I am, but the route I’d saved today was into some new territory so I guess I learned something new eh?

I have zepp app installed and device is mi band 7I have also synced to strava android app which  paired successfully... but unable to see heart rate during Any activity done…In zepp app I'm able to see heart rate but not on strava… Please help I also couldn't  see the data permission tab for enabling heart rate allow access I have also tried to use older version of strava but still unable to find data permission options for enabling heart rate.... Thanks and regards

I have noticed that in the last couple of my runs the time used for calculating Average Pace is no longer Moving Time, but the whole duration of recorded activity. I am using my Suunto watch and app to track my runs and syncing them with Strava, and I run the same route (commute), so I have a nice comparison between apps to show that. I notice if I add an ampersand (&) or sometimes less than/greater than signs (< and >) to the name of my activity when uploading a gpx file via the API, I will get back the error below, even though the same exact gpx file uploads fine with another activity name. In the past few weeks, route builder has started building routes that do not follow filters and are also very disjointed. -Using dirt roads when I select paved-Making random dead-end out-and-backs (much more than just a single climb, for example)-Routing through forest paths when I select road-etc The routes being generated look like a mess and would be a terrible riding experience. I’m stuck! I have attach a screenshot of an example. Instead of just a ‘typical’ route I’m getting all of these little one-way sections. Sometimes much worse than this. The other day I was in the woods on rocky trails!

Hi, I’ve noticed a strange behavior after upgrading from Apple Watch SE to Apple Watch Ultra 3. When I start a run with the Apple Fitness on my watch, the activity syncs to Strava. In Strava, the source is shown as Apple Health, not Apple Watch Ultra 3. All permissions are enabled: Strava is connected to Health, Strava has full read/write access, and Motion & Fitness permissions are on. I also have the Strava app installed on my watch, but I prefer using the native Workout app for recording. With my previous Apple Watch SE, Strava used to display the source as “Apple Watch SE” (even when I recorded with the native Workout app). After switching to Apple Watch Ultra 3, the exact same workflow only shows “Apple Health” as the source.My question: Is this the expected behavior now (Strava always labels the source as Apple Healt

Since today I wasn't able to share my activities to my instagram story. It only allows me to share the link of thr activity.

When creating a route, the route builder will not allow me to follow certain roads, even though I have ridden them many times. It will not even allow me to put waypoints on those ridden roads to direct the route there. Using the 'most direct' setting does not help. If I have ridden it, I should be allowed to make a route including it - the most direct route even includes public segments that others have ridden, all on asphalt, unlike the route it gives me, where km 4 is on a 'dirt' road with round stones that is dangerous to ride.

Hello I have just bought a Apple Watch and now I see that I can’t put routes fro Strava to my watch, like Garmins turn by turn. can I do something or do I have to by another watch ? 

Please bring back the “Virtual Ride” type. I and many others use it to separate outdoor from indoor rides. Thank you. 

All, is this some kind of bug? Heart rate font colour is in black (same as background) and not visible since last update. Visible when in auto pause and the background colour changes in yellow 🙄.

We are in the process of migrating our staging/test application to a new account and would like to increase its athlete capacity.Our production app was reviewed some time ago and is functioning as expected. Additionally, the previous staging/test applications were also reviewed and granted increased athlete capacity (999).According to the documentation, we're advised not to submit the review form for staging or test apps, which makes the process unclear—especially since the production app has already been reviewed.Could you please clarify how we can increase the athlete capacity for the new staging app under these circumstances?

Hi everyone, I recently upgraded from an Apple Watch Series 7 to a Series 11 and since then I’ve been having issues with how my workouts appear in Strava. When I record workouts in the Apple Workout app, they sync to Strava via Apple Health but the source always shows as “Apple Health” instead of “Apple Watch Series 11”In the Strava app on my iPhone, under Settings → Manage apps and devices, I constantly see the message “Accept permissions for Apple Watch” — even though I’ve already granted all permissions.

Hi All..  I am in the early stages of creating an app to use the Strava API - I’ve got a development background so don’t see any technical issues from the API documentation.The App will NOT show a user any other user’s data apart from their own.  It will do some analysis on each activity detail (not AI or machine learning) and give some feedback - for example: “that ride/segment was particularly fast as there was hurricane speed winds behind you which gave you a PB”However, Strava’s API agreement states:No Strava Data shall remain in your cache longer than seven days. If your Developer Applications check for a resource (e.g., a segment) and that resource is no longer available from Strava, you shall remove it from your cache immediately regardless of how frequently you refresh your cache. Anyone else noticed this recent change on the webpage?I have just noticed that under 'Profile' and ‘My Stats’ activities are now being displayed  showing the activity total time rather than the moving time of the activity.I'm sure most people would much rather see their efforts recorded showing moving or effort time, rather than a total time that may include all manner of stops!Any advice on how to change back would be very welcome.Strava ‘support’ were no help BTW.

Hi. I’ve been a subscriber since 2020 and have over a hundred maps saved for my cycling. Recently what’s happening is that when I chose a saved map and press ‘Start’ the map expands to full screen and shows my location (with the blue dot) but the orange route line will not show. If I hide the zoomed-in ‘centred’ view and go back to the map the orange line shows but as soon as I go back to the ‘zoomed-in’ view it disappears again. I have tried deleting the app and re-installing but I’ve still got the same issue. So at the moment I can’t use any of my carefully planned routes - very frustrating.I’m using an iPhone 15 Pro and have the latest IOS 18.6 running (it wasn’t working on the previous IOS version either)Any ideas?

My map updated and now everything that isn’t a road or path is now the same green color, including water. This makes it so hard to orient yourself and find good routes when traveling. Additionally, the map is now so visually overwhelming and overstimulating. Along with this new update, when you click on satellite it just stays on this green color scheme. Is there any way to reverse this update?? Any way to change the map at all?? 

Hey, I'm asking about my payment. I see that my annual subscription for my Visa was canceled. This is €70, but I later confirmed that I'm still a student. This was approved, so a year is €35 with a 50% discount. Now I'm wondering if I'll get the remaining €35 back? Or how does this work exactly?
