I have developed an activity tracker app for my running group. The problem that I am facing is hitting rate limit quite often and major API calls are related to refresh access token.I just want to get suggesion and best practices from fellow devs here, so I can optimize API calls and avoid hitting rate limit and can also provide my running fellows real time activity data :)Thanks in advance for your help.

Please see screenshot below.  I am unable to share a run recorded on Strava but not one synched with Strava from Peloton. I used to be able to do this. Not anymore.   2nd screenshot below is a peloton run   

I was recently logged out of my account but the email address that i used to sign up has since been disabled (by the institution that provided the email) and i can no longer log back in (on my phone). On my laptop im still logged in but cannot change the email as any confirmation required is sent to the address which has been disabled. Contacted strava support but not sure how long it will take to get a response. Does anyone know how to change email addresses without requiring access to the original email 

I disconnected my syncing between Strava and EConnected and now i cannot sync again due to the error 403 saying « limit of connected athletes exceedeed ». I tried to contact Strava but told me they can’t help me and send me there so I hope you could find a solution ! Thank you

Does strava support offline routes on wearOS watches? I want to be able to use some of my routes on a wearos watch to navigate me whilst I run, without having my phone with me.

I am using the iOS Strava app.If a use a downloaded route map from my saved maps and start the route, I see the orange route line on my map… until I lose cell/mobile internet reception and then the orange route line disappears completely.As soon as signal is restored it comes back.Note that this is a downloaded route so I would expect the route data to be available without any internet connection.I think this is a relatively recent regression as a year ago I never used to have this issue.As a workaround if I hide the current activity and view the route in Maps > Saved > Saved routes, I DO see the orange route line and my position on it, even with no mobile reception. This is currently a huge frustration. Im not sure whether this is a general issue or perhaps unique to some issue with my device, so if there is any way to fix it then I’d love to know.

Hi all, I’ve been on Strava using first a Garmin 530 and now a 1040 for 3 years and 4 months. Nearly 50,000km.I am not sure how it’s supposed to work, but I’ve always had major issues with segments on the Garmin. The issues include:Starred segments don’t always show up on the Garmin. This evening for example, I starred two segments - one showed up, the other didn’t. Segments don’t pop up at all if I’m following a route. I see them on the map, marked in green, but they don’t appear as a live segment unless I stop the route guidance. No segments appear if I search for segments nearby.  No segments automatically appear whilst I’m out (I’m not sure if they should do this).I don’t think it’s device related, as it’s always been the same on the 530 and now the 1040. Could there be something corrupted in the link between Strava and Garmin? I have tried un-synching and re-synching the accounts before, but to no avail. Any help or guidance would be much appreciated. Jonathan

Hi! My Strava is recording more than I actually walk and my streak on Strava should be about a mounth by now but its like 100 something. Why? I like Strava app but I need to find a new app if it continiues like this….  Can anyone help me? 

I ran a marathon yesterday, which I recorded with my Apple Watch. Ever since, I've been trying to import the activity in Strava on my iPhone. The activity shows up as a new activity under notifications. When I tap "Import" the little wheels keep spinning for a long time. After that it is replaced by a tick but the activity is not actually added to my profile. I've tried many times and it is never added to my profile. The activity shows up normally in my Apple Fitness/Health apps. I've tried just about everything which I could find online in order to solve it. I've rebooted the Apple Watch, the iPhone, logged out and back into the Strava app, deleted the Strava app and reinstalled it, but the activity just won't import. I import activities from my Apple Watch many times a week since years and I’ve never had this issue before. I've also tried importing other activities today and they import just fine. How can I solve this issue?

How do it get it back to seeing my personal heat map when I look at someone else's route or activity??? This was my favorite feature and I need it back pronto! What am I doing wrong for this to go away and how do I get it back. 

So the strava is unusable for me at this point, I use mi fitness to record my data and then when strava gets it it starts to show some bizarre stats like I made 12km on a 1km with 180 kmph speed 

Originally my Strava account was created with my Facebook Account - I wanted to change the password, which seemed impossible because I didn't have a password, so I went to disconnect Facebook, then connected my gMail (a different eMail to my Facebook acct), then changed my vanity url (to tr4777), and now when I try to login via Facebook, or also via Google - it looks like my account still exists, but I no longer have my premium Subscription, my entire workout history is completely gone (years and years), and all my friends are back to 0. Would someone please be able to take a look and help? Slightly freaking out but hopeful Strava Support can help? I would be eternally grateful for all help in recovering my entire history and friends. Thanks in advance!

I just bought a Samsung Watch7 and have used it on the water to track/record my distance rowed. Multiple times now, the distance recorded after I finish and save the workout is approx 1/2 of the actual distance. The GPS track/map of the workout is accurate and complete, but the distance does not agree with that track, is off by a factor of 2. (NOT a factor of 1.6! I'm not confusing metric/Imperial units.)

Hoping someone can direct me to solve this issue  Ive logged a walk today and run both are not showing up on my progress but are visible on my activities as people are giving me kudos. ? Is there a issue somewhere? Not a serious issue but its bugging me :-)

I took out a family subscription and invited my daughter and son and law, who live at the same address as me.  However they are being told that they cannot join as they need to live in the same country as me ??  Anyone else had similar issues ? 

I want to download a route to an iPhone for use when offline.  I have done this before on this particular device.  However, now when I go into my Saved Routes, I see the list of routes, but none of them will open when I select them.  Nothing happens when selecting any of the routes.  I can go into record and select a saved route and it opens, but if I'm offline, this won't work.   Any suggestions?

I wear my iPhone in an arm band holder with a see through touch sensitive screen. However with the new interface I can’t hit the pause button through the arm band protective screen. The pause button is lower on the new interface.      Anyone else have this issue? I lose “precious🤓” seconds taking it out of the arm band to hit pause during splits or at the end of a run.  

Why is there such a chaos in Activities timeline? They seem to be ordered haphazardly. Activities from yesterday are much further on the time axis then from, for example, several days ago. It seems not to make any sense.

Hello Strava,I have been creating an app for my running community for my hometown. The purpose of the app is that users can find details on run clubs that are within the city limits and be able to import a reminder on their calendar from the app. I thought it was a fun idea to have them be able to connect to Strava through the app and have their fastest time displayed on the app  for recording and visibility for the user. With my testing, i am getting an error 403: Limit of connected athletes exceeded.  Does anyone have an suggestions of how to make this work? the amount of people who would be using this app would probably be a max of 400 people. 

Hi all,Ever since updating my iPhone to iOS 26 and apple watch to watch OS 26, the Strava app has been crashing every time I tap “Import Activity.” Automatic uploads are working fine. Manual imports via the app cause an instant crash. I’ve already: Restarted my iPhone Reinstalled the Strava app Checked/re-enabled Apple Health permissions Created a support ticket and sent detailed app logs Reached out on both email and Twitter to @StravaSupport (no response yet) Is anyone else facing this issue after the recent iOS update?Any workaround or confirmation if a fix is in progress would be great.Thanks!

Don't you think it would be cool to see who actually created each segment (and to have that person's name displayed on the segment detail page). Strava is about the social connection among users, and this feature would increase that social aspect.A reason to have this feature is that if there is an issue where a segment on a trail/road no longer matches the exact trail/road section due to modification of that trail/road over the years. It would be a lot better if that existing segment could be deleted and then re-made with the updated trail/road. This would allow people to know who the segment creator is and contact them to delete the current segment so an updated one can be created to match the updated trail/road. I do not like the idea of creating a new segment as is (with the old segment still in place), as this would be confusing and not look very good on the map.Another reason to have this feature is if the original segment creator can't be bothered or is no longer
