I don't understand why when the data is coming from SAMSUNG HEALTH (main health app that I use) the big chunk of data is missing. I attached the photo from my samsung health because the distance is far off from the Samsung Health.  I also tried editing it on website but I cannot find the "CORRECT DISTANCE". 🙄😒

My wife is training for a marathon and has a Galaxy Watch 7 connected to Samsung Health. Samsung health has Strava added as a service. She starts the run activity from her watch. Most of the activity syncs but not all. It’s pretty random how much is not the same as Samsung Health. We’ve tried resync but still getting these strange differences. Any ideas?

Our week starts on Sunday, and my monthly running diary, every week starts on Monday and it's hard to understand how many days I'd ran every week and which week... is there a way to change it? In Garmin, as I remember, I can choose the starting day of the week..Thank you!

Now when shuttling or going to the bike park for mountain biking, the downhill trails/segments are no longer included in the trail times.  Though you’re clearly going fast uphill, their coding has created a problem for the downhill trails.  Importantly, though I know of multiple people asking for a “Shuttle MTB” function, they have yet to add it.

I use Strava on my Android phone to keep track of the distance for a ride on my adult trike.  How can I set the display to continuously display the mileage for that ride.  Right now, it displays the route.  I know the route I am on, I just want to know my distance as I am riding.  I am not concerned with time, speed, elevation, etc., just the current distance while on that particular ride.  Thank you.

Whenever I try to create or edit a route, it cuts the trails off and creates straight lines. What’s odd is that in the editing screen, it’s great and I have added many points to ensure it’s taking the right trail. After I save it, it reverts back to the straight line issue. The Strava created routes before editing are totally fine. See screenshots for an example of a route in editing (fine) and after saving (lots of errors). Does anyone know why this is happening or how to correct it in route editing?

I have selected a segment and clicked the Share button in the upper right corner to get to the “Challenge Friends” page and sent several segments to several friends, and people have done that to me. Where are these messages or notifications going? I do not see anything on the Challenges page and did not get any notifications.

Everytime I am going out running Strava is completely over estimating how far a distance I am running and therefore giving me a completely faster pace than I am actually going. Apple Watch is correct distance but Strava is adding on over a mile on runs? I believe it could be an GPS issue but I have tried everything to correct it. It’s happening on all different routes. 

I tried to share an activity on FB but the thumbnail render is not my preferred photo--it’s a random older woman with her tongue sticking out. It is not my photo either. I tried to reboot computer and also refresh page to see if it would show up but it does not work.

I see many old requests and ideas about additional updates and functionality for the Strava Wear OS App that has been closed as “Not planned” while they seem reasonable and important.For me they are a dealbreaker from converting fully to Strava Premium.Customizable screen: With more/other datafields Automatic lap (based on distance or even time) Map view Routes to follow on watchWhat is happening with the Wear OS app? I'm doing thousands of miles a year touring different countries. It's even the reason I bought a Strava subscription. Most of my net miles are done touring yet there is no touring tag.  Why is this?

Hi All,I know you can crop a run however when I do Parkrun the route goes under a large highway bridge and the distance is too short, not too long. I can't figure out how to add the extra distance into the activity in my Strava app. I have the paid version and can edit in Garmin, just not in Strava. It seems odd to me if this is not possible. Am I missing something?

Why are the global heatmaps now limited to 13 months of data? I am not sure when it changed but previously the global heatmaps data went back multiple years. Losing this functionality severely hampers route building for hiking, mountain biking, etc. An option to filter the timeframe for global heatmaps which is available for personal heat maps should be available and it should provide heatmap data that goes back as far as possible.

I can't see my saved routes on the app. Haven't been able to see them for a couple of weeks. I just get a wheel of doom circling, but nothing loads. 

Hello. Today I ran with my <galaxy watch 5> 10,52 km on 1h 12min moving time with 6'51"/km pace using Samsung Health, what is connected with Strava where this activity result was only 5,16 km on 13min 6 sec moving time with 2'32" / km pace.  What the problem, why this difference?

Hello, When reading several topics on watts shown on strava vs in garmin connect, I can see now how you can detect if power meter is used or not in Strava data. Now when checking power data ( average over complete ride ) this is slightly different compared to garmin. Does it mean Strava makes it own calculation? And if so why does Strava makes it own calculation when data is available via Garmin Connect. BrKris

Hi all, I am a new Strava user and am recording my daily Camino de Santiago hikes on Strava. I connected my Garmin (where I recorded parts of the hike, but not the whole thing) at the beginning. a few days in, I noticed that my Strava activities have been overwritten with some incorrect data, which I. An only assume is coming from the partial garmin recordings. When I first recorded and saved these activies in Strava, the data was different and more accurate. For instance, one hike that originally showed 28km and my full elevation gain over the day now only shows 8km, although the title & attached pictures are all the same.  is there a way to restore my original Strava data for these corrupted activities? If so, how?  thanks 

Hello,Did Strava change its method to calculate relative effort ? H there, I ge ta fitness and freshness graph fine when I select relative effort, but when I select power I get nothing.  Why is this?   I have been riding with power meters for a couple of years now ...

Hi there, I downloaded Strava in Switzerland but whenever I attempt to change the location, it would only let me change the city and the state, but never the country, so it always gives me something like “NY, United States, Switzerland”. My ride on 11th November 2020 has been flagged as not legitimate, including a few KOMs I believe that I was very proud of. I saw on a ride today revisiting these roads that the efforts were excluded, I'll be looking into more of my rides to see if this problem has occured more often. As a keen Strava cyclist and KOM fiend I've always been careful to crop anything if it gets left running. As you may understand, us racers can go out on a chilled ride and sprint up those hills with a tailwind to bring home the KOM to make our lives feel worthwhile for a short moment ;D . I hope you can help me out as a long term Strava devotee haha, thank you

For example, I have the usual 19 to 23 people that have given me support as I exercise daily. I thank them as I respond but I don't know if they all get the thanks. 2 ways you can solve this. First, you can add code that will send an update to everyone that gives Kudos to an athlete if they respond with a thank you. It can be similar to the Microsoft Team feature where the ​@Everybody feature gets activated. The second way could be a feature that allows you to globally send to specific people and groups by selecting them from ✔️ box in your settings. The feature could be enabled to send to individuals and groups equals true. If you want me to help please let me know. I haven't coded in a while but always willing to dust of the skills. While I am finding the feedback at individual run level interesting, I feel that if the feedback (intelligence)  looked more at blocks of runs it would be of way more value..
