Kom-request returns empty arrays with status 200

My app queries personal Koms every 30 mins starting 6am (CEST) up until 12pm and compares it to previous data to log lost/gained Koms.Everything works fine except the first query in the morning at 6am which has almost half the get-requests being returned with empty arrays even though their status is 200. descrepency in total run time between Moving/elapsed time and splits

HiI've just run a 12km and checked my times - can anyone explain why the moving time total shown (1.10.03) is different to the splits (I've totalled them up, equalling 1.09.12)?(NB I understand the difference between moving and elapsed times)Thanks!Mark

Club API Feedback and Improvements

Hi, I'm trying to build a small app for my company's Strava club to track weekly "winners" similar to how the club page shows "Distance / Total Running Time / Climbing" leaderboard entries and ran into a few issues in the process that I'd like to raise as well as a suggestion on how to mitigate why I think you built the API the way you did.My goal is to track the 1st/2nd/3rd place for each week and accumulate "medals" for people over the course of the year. Additionally, I'd like to store and keep certain things updated such as "Longest Run This Year" or "Most Elevation In A Run This Year" and post when someone sets a new record. However, I ran into a few issues with the Clubs API and would like to see if there's a different way to accomplish this OR if I can make suggestions instead:Club API doesn't return a timestamp for activities when you call getClubActivitiesById. Request for PHP Code Support and Guidance on Access Token Retrieval

Dear Strava Developer Support Team,I am currently working on a project that requires integrating with the Strava API using PHP. However, I noticed that your official developer site does not provide PHP-supported code examples.After searching, I found a PHP repository on GitHub that seems to be aligned with Strava’s API, but it currently has seven unresolved issues.Additionally, the code requires an "ACCESS TOKEN" to function correctly, but I couldn't find clear documentation on how to generate or retrieve this token specific to PHP implementations.Could you kindly provide guidance or official PHP code examples for integrating with your API? Feedback: recent update to heatmaps makes creating routes difficult

UPDATE FROM STRAVA: Thanks so much for writing in and providing this feedback. This is something that we are aware of and currently looking into. We're actively working on solving this gap in user experience and weighing this feedback into consideration as we work on an update. We appreciate your time and patience. a recent feature seems to have filtered heatmaps based on the sport type when routing. i suspect that this is broadly a great feature, but it has now made gravel routing very difficult because of the data sparsity (a large % of people don't select "gravel ride" on their activities, most rides aren't gravel anyways, etc.). plus there's so much overlap in gravel and road routes anyways, so aggregating that data makes sense imo. the road heatmaps work great here, but the only way to get them to show up is to change the sport type to road cycling, which affects the routing. I prefer to use "gravel ride" as the sport to get good autorouting ("prefer dirt" has its issues since it

[KNOWN ISSUE] Activity Grouping sometimes doesn't work

Since a couple weeks/ months the feedback doesn't show I rode together with other strava users. I haven't changed any settings. It worked woth those users in the past. Any idea what I can do? Adding/ inviting to the ride doesn't be the answer. That will add up the km's to my totale which is not gooed. Thanks in avance. Regards, Rick

"Forbidden" Message when trying to save a route

I have this problem several times and i consistently get a forbidden message when trying to save a route that has been shared with me from another strave user via imessage. The route opens i can see everything but when i click save it says forbidden. The only work around is to edit the route a bit and then it will save. Changing the name doesn't work either. I'm an iphone user and trying to do this via the strava app on my iphone - any help or things I might be able to try would be much appreciated.

Routes created on Strava Website not synching with iphone

Good morning!  I uploaded a gpx file (route) on the Strava website, hoping it would automatically synch with my Strava on my iphone. I had previously saved three routes successfully, so I have some previous experience. For some reason, the route I uploaded (successfully) on my laptop to the website, does not appear as a saved route on my Strava app on my iphone. Am I being too impatient? Does it require a lot of time? Any ideas would be appreciated. Thank you!

How do we get a new trail added to the maps?

Recently a new MUT opened and is quickly becoming popular with runners and cyclists.   As it was created where no path previously existed, the Strava maps don't show it and the only way to use it in route planning is via manual mode.This isn't a big deal but it did get me wondering how I could go about providing necessary info to Strava to get it added.

Cleaning my dashboard

Dear Strava (and users),I am getting increasingly annoyed by the many irrelevant postings I experience in my Dashboard between activities. How do I get rid of or disable these?To explain: My Dashboard is my goto page when opening Strava. Normally, I will have my latest activity at the top but below that I have to scroll, scroll and scroll to get to my next activity, past a great number of posts on Gravel, How to get in shape, Tour de France and what-have-you-not... This is deeply irritating as I check in to analyse and compare activities, not to get in shape or because I don't know who won what race.I could accept my Dashboard being contaminated if my "Activity Feed" was clean as I could then just go to that page. But this page shows exactly the same as my Dashboard - so what is the meaning of having an explicit activity page if it is also contaminated?At the very least a "Show"/"Do not show" button would be nice.I recognise that my clubs "need" to push ads and weird stuff, I signed up

Default activity always set to Gravel Ride. It bugs.

Hi, I've never ridden a gravel bike in my life. I was on a MOUNTAIN BIKE ride today, and yet again, for the like 100th time, my mountain bike ride was labeled a gravel ride. Is there not some way to set the default ride as a mountain bike ride? Everyone I rode with has mountain bike for the same ride. I've looked all over the web and can't find a way to fix this. Clearly not the end of the world, also starting to get annoying.  I don't get it. This started happening months ago -I don't own gravel bikes, and while some of the terrain I ride is also suitable for gravel, there's no way a system could look at my activity and think this was my default. Thanks for any help. Would love to never see this again. Thanks!

Why Do Posts Keep Filtering To the Top of My Feed?

First off, I have my feed order set to chronological. What I'm noticing is that posts completely ignore this setting and repeatedly filter up to the top of my feed.Note that I'm not talking about run/bike/swim/etc activities. I'm talking about posts, like when a pro athlete creates a post on their feed to promote their latest YouTube video or sponsorship, etc.I'm forced to read it every single time I open Strava. I'm assuming it's because the post gets a lot of engagement, but I have my feed set to chronological for a reason. It's because I don't want an algorithm to decide what I see and I don't want Strava to turn into Facebook or Instagram.

Average power in Watts

Hello everyone,For a few weeks now my average power has reduced significantly compared to before. Map navigation issue

Hi, I’m new to strava premium but this is the 2nd time I’ve come across an issue with it (perhaps I’m not using it correctly) and I’m seriously considering cancelling before it charges me.I drew a bike route this morning and clicked “use route” on record to follow the route however I didn’t get any navigation queues instead I was just watching the map on my phone and had to keep twisting it mid ride to align the direction as it kept assuming I was facing at 90 degrees to my riding direction! I kept tapping the map icon but this just changed to metrics never to directions. finally when I stopped the ride the post on my homepage had no map attached. any help would be great before I decide to cancel. Thanks

When viewing a group event, selecting the action to view the route no longer works (Android).Instead, selecting the action to view the route just takes you to the route generator function.
